You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.
For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.-----1Peter 1:22-23
When we FIRST came to the Lord, by the wooing of the Holy Spirit, with obedient hearts and our souls seeking to be cleansed from the stains of sin, He took us in and cleansed us from ALL our sins.
And because of our obedience to Him, we are a part of His family, which means we MUST conduct ourselves as such. One of His instructions to us is that we MUST show SINCERE love to each other as brothers and sisters, not that we will ALWAYS agree with each other, but even through those disagreements we MAINTAIN a SINCERE love, a DEEP, ABIDING love, with ALL our heart, for each other.
Now you may be thinking, is that even POSSIBLE? Well the answer is a most resounding "YES" as long as you ALLOW the Holy Spirit of the Living God to do the loving through you. Because we are in the flesh, we are weak, and cannot LOVE like we should, but through the work of God's Spirit we are ABLE to do WHATEVER the Father requires of us.
And my dear brothers and sisters the result of an OBEDIENT heart, when we are BORN AGAIN is An ABUNDANT, SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE that will last for ALL ETERNITY because it comes from the ETERNAL LIVING WORD of our ETERNAL LIVING GOD.
If the Holy Spirit has been wooing your soul you need to do this: CONFESS your sins to God and ask for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVE in your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is in HEAVEN making intercession for YOU, before God, then ACCEPT God's gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!
