Faith in Christ Makes Us Right With God!

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.  For His sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with Him.  I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ.  For God's way of making us right with Himself depends on faith.------Philippians 3:8-9

What kind of value do YOU put on TRULY KNOWING Jesus Christ?  Do you think about the REALITY of who He is?  How about the SACRIFICE that He made to bring us into a RIGHT relationship with Father God, in other words, to make us RIGHTEOUS before the ALMIGHTY GOD.

The Apostle Paul did, and he sacrificed ALL he HAD and WAS so that he might gain a CLOSER, more INTIMATE relationship with the KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS.  To TRULY KNOW Him.

Paul says that he NO LONGER counts on his OWN righteousness through obeying the law, but his RIGHTEOUSNESS comes through his FAITH in Christ and Christ ALONE.  And so it is with EVERY Child of God, because OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS is like FILTHY, PUTRID, STINKY, RAGS before a HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD.  FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ is the ONLY way, because it is GOD'S WAY of making us RIGHT with Him.

If your FAITH is in material things, or your status in society, education, wealth, etc.  your FAITH is MISGUIDED, and to the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD of this Universe you are NOTHING but a pile of FILTHY, PUTRID, STINKY RAGS.  This is what your claim to fame, or fortune, YOUR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS is in His eyes and THAT is ALL that matters in the end.  But you can CHANGE the OBJECT of your FAITH by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and become TRULY RIGHTEOUS in God's eyes.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He's waiting!!!
