The Candy Bar Trinity

"If you know Me, you will also know My Father.  From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.  "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me....------John 14:7&11

It is hard for mankind to wrap our mind around.  I like to use the illustration, for the Holy Trinity, by using a candy bar that has a nougat filling on the inside, with caramel filling on top of the nougat filling, then its ALL covered with creamy milk chocolate, three different components making up ONE candy bar.

So it is with the Holy Trinity, we could say that the nougat represents: the Holy Spirit, the caramel represents: Jesus Christ, and the creamy milk chocolate represents God. They are all separate, yet when brought together they are ONE.

Jesus was speaking to one of His disciples in this passage of Scripture, concerning the Holy Trinity, telling them that He and the Father are one entity.  And He goes on to say that He will NOT leave them ALONE, but will send them another part of the HOLY TRINITY, the Holy Spirit, that will take His place and will NEVER leave them, but will come and indwell them or LIVE within them until He RETURNS.  The Holy Spirit will be their (our) COMFORTER, TEACHER and GUIDE through life on this WRETCHED, SINFUL, EARTH.

And so it is, with God's Children, He has NOT left us ALONE either, to try to live for Him, without GUIDANCE and INSTRUCTION or a  COMFORTER when the going gets ROUGH.  We too, have the INDWELLING of the Holy Spirit to MINISTER to us, and the ASSURANCE that He will NOT leave us until the return of the SECOND PERSON in the HOLY TRINITY, our Lord Jesus Christ!

If you have NEVER given your Heart and Life to Jesus and are STRUGGLING in this life, and feel like you just can't make it.  You NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT in your life.  You can receive Him by:  CONFESSING your sins to God asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your Heart, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He's waiting!!!
