“A New Creation “

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:  The old has gone, the new is here!  All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:  That God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.  And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.  We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.  We implore you on Christ’s behalf:  Be reconciled to God.  God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.        2Corinthians 5:17-21

I was asked once why I always end my blogs the same way.  My answer is exemplified through these verses of Scripture.  I have no way of knowing who reads my blogs nor do I know the content of anybody’s heart.  It is my desire, because of God’s grace, that everyone who reads these blogs might come to Him and receive the gift of SALVATION, and become a NEW CREATION.

I believe that awhile back there was a study done, which revealed that about eighty percent of church members are lost.  Just because a person was raised in church, or their parents were members of a church, or they are a member of a church, or they attend a church, does NOT make a person a TRUE Child of the Living God.  Just like going out and standing in your garage all day, does NOT make you a car.  They ONLY way to become reconciled to God, and become a NEW CREATION is to REPENT or TURN AWAY from your sins and come with a REPENTIVE HEART to God, the ONLY one who can give you eternal life in Heaven. 

Some may think a person can get to Heaven, by doing good deeds or being a good person.  But the Bible tells us that our SALVATION comes from God’s grace and the ONLY way to obtain His AMAZING GRACE is to come to the cross and be cleansed by the shed blood of His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is our FOREVER sacrifice.

As Christ’s ambassador, it is my place to make God’s appeal for you to come to Him, and be made NEW, and be adopted into His family and have the assurance of Heaven as your eternal home.  To be reconciled to God, so that you might become the righteousness of God.  You do that by:  Confessing your sins to God and asking Him for His forgiveness, believing, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is alive in Heaven making intercession for you, before God, then accept His gift of salvation, and be reconciled to Him, and become a NEW CREATION.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
