“Changing the Way You Think”

Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think.  Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to Him.      Romans 12:2

In many different places in the Bible we are told that we, who are TRUE believers in Christ, should separate ourselves from the world and its ways.  Because when we come to God with a truly repentant heart, we become a NEW creation, OLD things are gone and NEW things have come.  So we should do away with our old worldly lifestyle and embrace our new Godly lifestyle.

We should be willing as His Children to allow His Spirit that indwells us to change our way of thinking, by allowing Him to do what King David asked Him to do; “create a clean heart for me and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” 

When this transformation takes place we become a new creation with a new way of thinking.  Our minds will then be able to know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to God, because of our CLEAN hearts and a RENEWED, STEADFAST spirit that is within us. 

We are no longer like the people of this world, who are being influenced and led by Satan, and are blindly being led to an eternity in Hell.  Their minds are blinded to the truth and they are lost and wandering around in darkness.  If you find that you are following the world and its ways, and have been feeling guilty about your situation, you NOW have the opportunity to change your way of thinking and living by coming to God, confessing your sins to Him and asking Him for His forgiveness, believing with ALL your Heart that Jesus died for YOU, and is alive in Heaven making intercession for you before God, then accept His gift of salvation and let Him change the way you think, let Him create in you a CLEAN heart and a RENEWED, STEADFAST spirit, and be pleasing and acceptable to Him.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
