“Harvesting What You Plant”
You cannot
fool God, so don’t make a fool of yourself!
You will harvest what you plant.
If you follow your selfish desires, you will harvest destruction, but if
you follow the Spirit, you will harvest eternal life. Galatians 6:7-8
There are
some people who think that they can fool God, by trying to live on both sides
of the fence, so to speak, they claim to be a Christian, but their lifestyle
does not reflect that at all. Just
saying you are a Christian, does not make you one.
The Apostle
Paul, in his letter to the Galatians, speaks of a HARVEST time, when we all
will reap what we plant. If anyone
follows their selfish, sinful desires, they will reap DESTRUCTION, but if you
plant righteous things that comes from following the Spirit you will HARVEST
ETERNAL LIFE.
You cannot
plant both and hope for a bumper crop.
The weeds of selfish, sinful desires will choke out the tender,
righteous, desires of the Spirit, and you will end up with crop failure and
will HARVEST DESTRUCTION.
If you have
been trying to live a double life and are hard at work, trying to fool God and
others by striving to live on both sides of the fence, you need to know that
you are headed for FAILURE and DESTRUCTION.
Your HARVEST is NOT going to be what you might think it should be, and
your destination is a place called HELL.
A place of misery, heartache, unending pain, torment, and torture. Those are the things an UNREPENTANT HEART
will HARVEST. However, you can change
your lifestyle and live on the RIGHT side of the fence, by following the Spirit
of God, and Him ONLY. You do that
by: Confessing your sins to God and
asking Him for His forgiveness, believing, with ALL your Heart, that Jesus died
for you, and is alive in Heaven making intercession for you, before God, then
accept His gift of SALVATION, and STOP trying to fool God, and start planting
the righteous desires of the Spirit and harvest ETERNAL LIFE. Do it NOW, while you still can. He’s waiting and coming SOON!
