"Restore Us, O God!"

“Restore Us, O God!”

 

 

Restore us, God; look on us with favor, and we will be saved.       Psalm 80:3

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.        Psalm 33:12

 

 

The nation we once embraced, and protected with the blood of our spouses, children, parents and siblings, is teetering on a precarious precipice, and the question is; are we so close to the edge that we have no HOPE of being rescued from the certain demise of a ONCE great nation?

 

The answer lies in both of the above Scriptures.  “Restore us, God; look on us with favor, and we will be saved.”  The Psalmist is imploring to the Lord God Almighty, to RESTORE their people and to look on them with favor, and with ASSURANCE they, state:  and we WILL be SAVED.  

 

With our Nation in the condition it is in NOW, could we implore upon the Almighty God to RESTORE us and to LOOK on us with FAVOR?  I believe this is a prayer we need to pray, however this Nation NEEDS to have a RESTORATION of its FAITH and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the Almighty God, before we approach Him for the purpose of being RESTORED and SAVED.

 

Neither Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton can bring the RESTORATION, we need, without the DIVINE INTERVENTION of the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD.  And we will not get the RESTORATION, until this nation as a whole comes to GOD with REPENTENCE for all the years of sin, depravity, wickedness, perversions of every conceivable nature, and PLEADS for the FORGIVENESS on an UNGODLY NATION, which is DESPERATELY NEEDED.  Then can the God of the Universe LOOK on us with favor, and save our land. 

 

Psalm 33:12, says:  “BLESSED is the nation whose God is the Lord.”  We CANNOT receive God’s blessings, because our Nation has become UNGODLY and He is NOT the Lord of the land.  Until we RETURN to Him, and seek His face, we, like many other nations, will face certain destruction.

 

If you are a TRUE BELIEVER of the LIVING GOD, then you NEED to be PRAYING EVERY DAY for a NATIONWIDE revival to break out and spread across the land we love and hold dear to our hearts. 

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God then you NEED to do that NOW.  Because you are a part of the hold-up on God’s blessings on our nation. You NEED to come to Him with a TRULY REPENTANT HEART, and CONFESS your sins to Him asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be a part of the RESTORATION of our nation.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
