"WARNING: The Judge is Standing at the Door!"

“WARNING:  The Judge is Standing at the Door!”

 

 

Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged.  The Judge is standing at the door!         James 5:9

 

We are living in UNCERTAIN and UNSETTLED times.  Nations against nations, citizens against the government and the government against their citizens, racial problems, unrest, families torn apart because of tensions escalating among each other, terrorist attacks that are threatening our way of life, and the dissention in churches that weakens the body of Christ, this is what the Apostle James was talking about in our passage of Scripture.  These are ALL signs that we are still here on earth and living on borrowed time.  The rapture or “catching away” of God’s Children is approaching and we must be prepared for it. 

 

James is giving us a COMMAND to follow, as God’s Children, we are to live and work together in the body of Christ.  There NEEDS to be LOVE and UNITY among the members of the body, of which we ALL are a part of.  We SHOULD support each other without ANY DISSENSION.  James tells us; “DON’T grumble against one another!”   Proverbs 6:16-19 is a list of seven things that God HATES:  These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:  A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, AND ONE WHO SOWS DISCORD AMONG BRETHREN.  This seventh one is an ABOMINATION or DISGUSTING to Him.  In other words, He REALLY HATES it when His Children are involved in such despicable acts, but when they come against each other, and GRUMBLE and COMPLAIN about one another, it is EXTREMELY DISGUSTING to Him, and there will be a price to be paid for those who are GUILTY of planting seeds of dissention among the members of the body of Christ.

 

James warns us, that if one is GUILTY, they will face certain judgment.   And since we know NOT the time of our departure from this sinful world, we need to TURN AWAY from GRUMBLING and COMPLAINING about our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and BE ABOUT GOD’S BUSINESS, because the JUDGE STANDS AT THE DOOR!  He’s just waiting for the command from our Heavenly Father, “SON, GO GET MY CHILDREN!!  If you are guilty of GRUMBLING and COMPLAINING about others in the body of Christ, STOP IT!!!  because God is NOT HAPPY with you, and you will be held ACCOUNTABLE for it. 

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you will be GUILY of REJECTING God’s ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, the Lord Jesus Christ, the ONLY sin that will send you to HELL, the place of ETERNAL TORMENT for ALL eternity.  However God is giving you the opportunity to turn yourself around, and come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become a part of the body of Christ that will help bring LOVE and UNITY to His body.  Do it NOW, while you still can, because the Judge is standing at the door, waiting and coming SOON!!!
