"God, the Judge!"

“God, the Judge!”

 

 

It is God who judges; He brings one down, He exalts another.  In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; He pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.      Psalm 75:7-8

 

In verses four through six of this Psalm, God is warning the wicked about the attitude of their heart.  He tells them to:  “Boast no more.”  He is cautioning them to not use their strength or power to defy Him.  There would be no help in exalting them, when they stand before the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, God, Himself.

 

It is the Almighty God who judges:  He is the one who brings CONDEMNATION, bringing one down, and EXALTATION, bringing one up.

 

He will JUDGE in this manner; “In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices;” this cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices, is pertaining to God’s wrath.  He pours it out, and ALL the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.  ALL the wicked will be brought before the Almighty God, and will receive a staggering CONDEMNATION from the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE.  They will receive the FULL amount of God’s ANGER and WRATH, which will be poured out to the very last dregs.  It will NOT be a pleasant, nor exalting moment. 

 

However, the ones that the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE exalts will be those who are His TRUE BELIEVERS.  Those who have come to Him for the SALVATION of their souls, and who walks in their FAITH. 

 

There is soon coming a day, when God, the Judge, will take His place to JUDGE the wicked for their sins, and to place upon them the CONDEMNATION, which they so rightly deserve. And He will pronounce a sentence to Hell and all of its horrors, for ALL of eternity, with NO way of escape.  There will be NO reprieve or stay. The JUDGMENT will be swift and FINAL. 

 

If you have NOT come to God for the SALVATION of your soul, you are one who will face the WRATH or ANGER of the ALMIGHTY GOD, the JUDGE, who will bring you the cup of His wrath and you will drink the full amount.  Unless, you come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and receive His EXALTATION and NOT His CONDEMNATION.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
