“Too Many Wonders to Declare”

 

 

Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us.  None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.     Psalms 40:5

 

In yesterday’s devotion, which was out of the Book of Job, Job declared that the Almighty God had many plans in store for him.  Today’s devotion comes from the Book of Psalms, and is one of David’s Psalms, in which he is testifying of his salvation from the mighty hand of a LOVING God, who lifted him out of the mire and mud and set his feet on the SOLID ROCK.  The one who rescued him from his troubles, sins and enemies.  The one who put a NEW SONG in his mouth, and praise in his heart.

 

This is such an AWESOME piece of work from David’s heart.  He declares that MANY are the WONDERS and PLANS for God’s Children, too many to declare.  And David states that NONE can compare to God.  He is the ONLY ONE who can perform such deeds and have such wondrous plans in store for His Children.  I shudder to think of those who are missing out on the wondrous plans that God has for them.  Plans to set their feet on the SOLID ROCK, to deliver them from their troubles, sins and enemies, and to miss their BLESSINGS, because of their reluctance to OPEN their HEARTS and LIVES up to His CONTROL. 

 

Some are afraid that they will be made fun of or ostracized by their peers, if they allow the Holy Spirit to work in them to the fullest extent.  This is a SMALL price to pay, in respect to the price that Jesus Christ paid, in order to SAVE you and give you the HOPE of Heaven.  Some of God’s Children miss out on His MANY WONDROUS PLANS for them, because they QUENCH the work of God’s Spirit that abides in them.  They are more concerned about what the world thinks, than what God has planned for them.  What a SHAME!

 

And if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are LOST, and without His SALVATION, you will spend an ETERNITY in Hell, which is NOT what HE wants for you.  He wants you to come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let Him set your feet on the SOLID ROCK, Jesus Christ, and to bless you with His WONDROUS PLANS and AWESOME DEEDS.  Do it NOW, while you still can He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
