“God’s Unfailing Love and Wonderful Deeds”

 

Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind.     Psalm 107:8

 

Have you ever just sat down, and meditated on ALL the WONDERFUL DEEDS the Lord God has done for you because of His UNFAILING LOVE?   Let’s take a few minutes to consider just what ALL He has done for us. 

 

First of all let’s look at the fact that His UNFAILING LOVE is a SUSTAINING LOVE.  He has created mankind, the Crown of His Creation, with certain things that they NEED to SUSTAIN them and He provides these things on a daily basis for EACH PERSON. He provides us with the AIR we breathe, and with WATER we consume and use for a lot of other functions that we need in order to survive.  He has placed us on the planet earth, which He created to SUSTAIN mankind.  It is a perfect environment for mankind to live in.  He has given us the proper vegetation and animal life to SUSTAIN our hunger and in some cases our medical needs, and ALL because of His UNFAILING, SUSTAINING LOVE.

 

Now, let’s look at another fact of His UNFAILING LOVE that it is also a SACRIFICAL LOVE.  After CREATION and the FALL of mankind, it was evident that there NEEDED to be a BLOOD SACRIFICE, in order to bring the CREATOR GOD, who is RIGHTEOUS and HOLY, and mankind, who is NOT RIGHTEOUS or HOLY, together in a FATHER, CHILD relationship.  The SACRIFICE was usually a PERFECT ANIMAL, one WITHOUT BLEMISH or SPOT, and it was SACRIFICED for the purpose of FORGIVENESS of one’s sins, and to bring them to a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the Almighty God.  But it seemed to NOT be sufficient, so God GAVE His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, who was HOLY and RIGHTEOUS as the PERFECT SACRIFICE, He was WITHOUT SIN, and was GOD in the FLESH.  So God actually GAVE HIMSELF as a SACRIFICE to die on an OLD RUGGED CROSS for ALL of mankind, in order for them to have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him.  All because of His UNFAILING, SACRIFICAL LOVE.

 

Let’s look at one more fact of God’s UNFAILING LOVE.  It was a SAVING LOVE.  The Son of God, Jesus Christ, left ALL the GLORIES of Heaven, to come to earth as a helpless, newborn baby.  He came for the sole purpose of SEEKING and SAVING the LOST, and bringing them into that RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God.  Mankind was dying in their sins, and in desperate NEED of a SAVIOR.  So Jesus became flesh and blood, and dwelt among mankind, but He, unlike mankind, was WITHOUT A SINFUL NATURE, so He became the PERFECT, ONCE for ALL SACRIFICE for ALL of those who would call upon His name for the SALVATION of their SOULS.  All because of His UNFAILING, SAVING LOVE. Have you called upon Him for the SALVATION of your soul?  Or are you still in your sins and headed for an ETERNITY in Hell with ALL of its HORRORS, and with NO WAY of ESCAPE?   You can ESCAPE an ETERNITY in Hell by, TURNING AWAY FROM your sins, and TURNING TO God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and come into a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God.  All because of His UNFAILING LOVE and WONDERFUL DEEDS.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
