“A FEARFUL Thing”

Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the Covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing and insulted the Spirit of Grace?

It is a fearful thing to fall into the Hands of the Living God.

Hebrews 10:29,31



I believe that Sir Walter Scott of 1808, nailed the underlying theme of this Scripture, when he said: “Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!”  This Scripture, I believe is referring to one to whom we can classify as an “apostate.”  One who may PROFESS to be a TRUE BELIEVER, but doesn’t actually POSSESS the right to be a TRUE BELIEVER at all. 



In all actuality, they are “wolves” in sheep’s clothing.  They NEVER actually came to Christ for their SALVATION, and they are really still WILLFULLY REJECTING JESUS, God’s Son, and still WILLFULLY REFUSING God’s Plan of SALVATION.  To TRAMPLE the Son of God underfoot is to WILLFULLY REJECT the Lord Jesus Christ.  And to COUNT the BLOOD of the COVENANT by which mankind is SET APART for SALVATION, as an UNHOLY thing.  He was REFUSING GOD’S HOLY PLAN for the SALVATION process.   He may have been ALMOST PERSUADED to make a TRUE COMMITMENT to the LORD, but WILLFULLY REJECTED and REFUSED GOD’S PLAN.



Even though, they may have IDENTIFIED with the Christian Community, they are not the REAL THING.   They may PROFESS, but they don’t POSSESS it.  And MORE SERIOUS is they have INSULTED the SPIRIT of GRACE, meaning they feel that it is BENEATH them to CONSIDER the WORK of God’s Holy Spirit, and they REFUSE to SUBMIT themselves to the WOOING of GOD’S SPIRIT as He deals with their HEART.  They actually DENY His existence.  This is a SERIOUS crime against GOD and His SON, and the AMAZING GRACE that is offered.   Do you fit into this category?  Are you DECEIVING people into thinking you POSSESS a TRUE RELATIONSHIP, with God, even if you don’t?  Maybe, it’s because you are a GOOD PERSON, who does GOOD DEEDS, or maybe it’s because you don’t want people to KNOW who you really are and what you really do?



There is a FEARFUL JUDGMENT coming for those who DO NOT TRULY POSSESS God’s gift of SALVATION.  Verse thirty-one tells us that: “It is a FEARFUL THING to FALL into the Hands of the Living God.  If you have NOT TRULY GIVEN your HEART and LIFE to GOD this is what you have to look forward to.  Your DESTINY is:  An ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  In order to TRULY POSSESS GOD’S SALVATION, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then YOU MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become a GENUINE, TRUE BELIEVER, with an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“The New Covenant”

“This is the Covenant I will make with them after that time,” says the Lord.  “I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”  Then He adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”  And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.     Hebrews 10:16-18



Our last lesson was on Jesus Christ being the ONCE for ALL, Sacrifice for ALL of mankind.  Today, I want us to look at JESUS CHRIST as the NEW COVENANT that links mankind with the HOLY RIGHTEOUS GOD.  Our Scripture is the TESTIMONY of the HOLY SPIRIT.  He tells us that God’s gift of SALVATION through JESUS CHRIST is a PERMANENT, SURE, thing, and it is the NEW COVENANT made between God and mankind, through the SACRIFICAL act of CHRIST.  By the SPILLING of His precious BLOOD that WOULD, and STILL CLEANSES us from ALL our sins.



This NEW COVENANT is the CONDITIONAL PROMISES made to mankind by God, and is SIGNED, by the BLOOD of JESUS, SEALED by the HOLY SPIRIT, and DELIVERED by the ALMIGHTY GOD. 



When an individual comes to Christ for their SALVATION, and they ACCEPT GOD’S SON, JESUS as the SACRIFICE for their SINS, and the PROVISION of an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, God places in their HEART His LAWS, and WRITES them on their MIND.  And they are EXPECTED to KNOW, and to be OBEDIENT to His LAWS. And when the individual ACCEPTS God’s COVENANT, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, then God will REMEMBER NO MORE, their SINS and LAWLESS ACTS, and when FORGIVENESS takes place, there is NO LONGER a SACRIFICE needed for their SINS, because this NEW COVENANT is an EVERLASTING COVENANT.



If you have NOT come to CHRIST with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, for the SALVATION of your sins, you are DOOMED to spend ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  However, you have the OPPORTUNITY NOW, to ACCEPT this NEW COVENANT, and have your SINS and LAWLESS ACTS FORGIVEN and FORGOTTEN, by GOD, through JESUS CHRIST by:  WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sins and lawless acts, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and RECEIVE His FORGIVENESS, and an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, made possible through the NEW COVENANT.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!





       

"ONCE and for ALL'"

“ONCE and for ALL”

Then He said, “Here I am, I have come to do Your Will.”  He sets aside the first to establish the second.  And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the Body of Jesus Christ once for all.      Hebrews 10:9-10



If you read the verses prior to the ones that are our focus verses, you will see that this is part of a conversation between the ALMIGHTY GOD and His Son, JESUS CHRIST.  Who, came into this world to be the ULTIMATE, SUPREME SACRIFICE for ALL of mankind.  Jesus came because God was NOT pleased with the animal sacrifices, they just didn’t seem to have the right connection between GOD and MANKIND.  Then, like the Prophet Isaiah, Jesus said: “Here I am, I have come to DO YOUR WILL.



And that WILL, was GOD’S WILL for the SALVATION of ALL mankind, ONCE and for ALL.  Jesus does NOT have to DIE daily for the REDEMPTION of mankind, much like the Old Testament sacrifices were done. The SACRIFICE of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, was a ONE-TIME thing that covers ALL SINS, past, present and future.   The TRUE BELIEVER, is “SET APART” from sin for GOD, this is a PERMANENT, CONTINUAL SANCTIFICATION.  And NOT a PROGRESSIVE SANCTIFICATION used for their DAILY SERVICE by the WILL of GOD.



Mankind has the OPPORTUNITY, NOW, to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.  This is POSSIBLE, because of the REDEEMING, SACRIFICAL DEATH and the RESURRECTION of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  It was carried out ONCE and for ALL.  And it is SUFFICIENT to SAVE to the UTMOST. There is NO OTHER WAY to SHUN HELL and GAIN HEAVEN.  You MUST COME through the CLEANSING, SHED BLOOD of the RIGHTEOUS SON of the LIVING GOD, and be MADE RIGHTEOUS in His sight, through HIS SACRIFICE for YOUR SALVATION.



In order to experience the above, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, ONCE and for ALL, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before GOD.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and change your DESTINY from, HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, to HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Chillax!"

“Chillax!”

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.     Psalm 37:7



I really like the word “CHILLAX”, which is a combination of two words: CHILL and RELAX.  Both of these words mean to make LESS tense.  In this Psalm, the Psalmist, King David is telling his readers to “BE STILL, or CHILLAX, don’t get all TENSE about things, but CHILLAX and WAIT.



Now notice, he tells us HOW we should WAIT; “WAIT PATIENTLY for Him, (GOD).  This is all a part of BEING STILL or CHILLAXING.  When a person gets all “WORKED-UP and TENSE over their problems or their present surroundings, then they FRET and that leads to WORRYING, which is a sin. It is a SIN, because it shows a LACK of FAITH and TRUST in the ONLY ONE who is in TOTAL CONTROL of EVERYTHING.  For sure, there are times, when we QUESTION, if GOD really KNOWS what is happening, but He REALLY DOES. Sometimes, He allows things to HAPPEN to TEACH us a lesson, and sometimes it may be to TEACH someone else a lesson, which could determine their DESTINY. 



The Psalmist tells us: “Do NOT FRET when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their WICKED SCHEMES.”  We live in a VERY WICKED WORLD, one that is full of people with WICKED SCHEMES.  Some are involved in the LEADERSHIP of our NATIONS, and they are the ones who are trying to put into practice their WICKED SCHEMES, that would eventually DESTROY the GOOD, POSTIVE, and GODLY things that we NOW CHERISH.  However, we are NOT to FRET about this, because GOD is STILL in CONTROL.  And in the END, HE WINS!!



In the END, there will NOT be ANY WICKED people or ANY WICKED schemes.  In verses one and two of this Psalm, King David says: “Do NOT FRET because of those who are EVIL or be ENVIOUS of those who do WRONG; for like the grass they will soon DIE AWAY.”  In other words: “CHILLAX!!”  TRUST in the LORD and BELIEVE He will do ALL He says He will do.  Have FAITH in GOD, He’s STILL on the THRONE.  There’s a BETTER DAY coming!!



But if you are one of the WICKED PEOPLE with WICKED SCHEMES, your FUTURE is pretty GRIM.  Those who have NOT given their HEART and LIFE to GOD, their DESTINY is an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  And you SHOULD be FRETTING over your involvement with WICKEDNESS and the fact that you will face the ALMIGHTY GOD at His JUDGMENT SEAT, where He will bring CONDEMNATION and SENTENCING on ALL who have been REJECTING His gift of SALVATION, and are PRACTICING a WICKED lifestyle.  The ONLY HOPE for you is for you to be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your wicked lifestyle, and to TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and DO NOT FRET, but CHILLAX, because you will have an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW while you STILL can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Look and Seek!"

“Look and Seek!”

Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.   Ps 105:4



In times like the ones in which we are living, we NEED to DEPEND on the Lord God for STRENGTH, HIS STRENGTH, because He is our ROCK and REFUGE, and can SUSTAIN us, when we are in NEED.  We are told to SEEK His Face ALWAYS.  Whatever we are facing or in NEED of, He is WAITING and WILLING to HELP His TRUE CHILDREN, both PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY.



It is up to the TRUE BELIEVER to LOOK to GOD and to SEEK Him, ALWAYS.   NOT just when in NEED, but ALWAYS.  This attitude produces a STEADFAST FAITH and TRUST in Him and His capabilities.  He is a TRUSTWORTHY, COMPASSIONATE FATHER, who GENUINELY CARES for His CHILDREN.  He is our SALVATION and our STRONG and MIGHTY TOWER, to which we can RUN to. 



In times like these, we can DRAW CLOSE to Him, and receive PEACE and LOVE like NO OTHER.  This is WHY we SHOULD give PRAISE to Him, and PROCLAIM His NAME; making KNOWN what He has done to ALL the nations. (v1).



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are NOT His TRUE CHILD, and you are on your way to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  But because of God’s UNFAILING LOVE, ABUNDANT MERCY and AMAZING GRACE, you have the opportunity, NOW, to change your DESTINY, by: WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God. You MUST ACCEPT God’s gift of SALVATION, and LOOK to Him and SEEK Him to be your STRENGTH and your SALVATION.  And receive an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Forgiveness"

“If you forgive those who sin against you, your Heavenly Father will forgive you.  But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.”     Matthew 6:14-15



FORGIVENESS: The act of CEASING to feel resentment against another.



FORGIVENESS is a very intricate attribute. It is intertwined with LOVE, MERCY and GRACE for all that are in need of it.  God so LOVED the world, that He gave His only son, so that ANYONE who believes in Him, and is WILLING to FOLLOW Him, would be FORGIVEN of their sins and have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.   FORGIVENESS is in the HEART of God, and it is one of the CHARACTERISTICS that we as the CHILDREN of God MUST POSSESS and PRACTICE, in order to be CHRIST-LIKE.



FORGIVENESS, can sometimes be very difficult for MANKIND to put into practice.  The KEY here is:  If one CANNOT or DOES NOT FORGIVE others, who may have WRONGED them, this might be an indication that they have NOT TRULY been a RECIPIENT of GOD’S FORGIVENESS.  Remember, Jesus, after being HUMILIATED, BEATEN to a BLOODY PULP, and CRUCIFIED, asked His HEAVENLY FATHER to FORGIVE THEM, for they KNOW NOT what they do.  And if you are a TRUE CHRISTIAN, meaning to be CHRIST-LIKE, you too, MUST have a FORGIVING SPIRIT.



The TRUE BELIEVER, must POSSESS POSITIVE RELATIONAL ATTRIBUTES towards others, even when they have WRONGED you.  Being LOVED by God, we too are to LOVE each other, with a GODLY LOVE, because “He has given us this command:  Anyone who LOVES GOD MUST also love their brother and sister.” (1 John 4:21) In order to POSSESS FORGIVENESS, we MUST LOVE one another. 



Along with FORGIVENESS is FORGETTING.  I’ve heard a lot of people say, that they might be able to FORGIVE, but they can NOT FORGET.  The Apostle Paul told the BELIEVERS in Philippi, this: “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of my goal.  But one thing I do:  FORGETTING what is BEHIND and STRAINING toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to WIN the PRIZE for which God has called me heavenward in CHRIST JESUS.  (Philippians 3:13) If you claim to FORGIVE, but you aren’t WILLING to FORGET, then you REALLY haven’t FORGAVE, because you are DIGGING up what you were suppose to FORGIVE.  In order to RECEIVE GOD’S FORGIVENESS, you MUST BE WILLING to FORGET also, and like Paul PRESS ON TOWARDS the PRIZE GOD has CALLED you to.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you have NOT been FORGIVEN, but are DESTINED for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPING, after you are there.  In order to RECEIVE God’s FORGIVENESS and to CHANGE your DESTINY to an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become a RECEIPTANT of God’s FORGIVENESS, and FORGIVE and FORGET.  Do this NOW, while you still can.   He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"The Wisdom of God vs The Wisdom of the World"

“The Wisdom of God vs The Wisdom of the World”

For since in the Wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.                         1 Corinthians 1:21



The world is made up of two very different types of WISDOM.  There is the WISDOM of GOD, and then there is the WISDOM of the WORLD.  GODLY WISDOM versus WORLDLY WISDOM.  Let’s look at both and YOU decide which type you believe would benefit you, especially with your ETERNAL DESTINY.  After all, our life, HERE, on this earth, is TEMPORARY, it will END, one day, and what we do with this EARTHLY LIFE, will determine where we will SPEND ETERNITY.



For those who are WISE in the things of the WORLD, they will RECEIVE their rewards for their WORLDLY WISDOM, in this life, and not in the LIFE they will have after DEATH.  WORLDLY WISDOM is mostly comprised of SELF-SEEKING, SELF-SERVING, SELF PRESERVATION, and in the end SELF-DESTRUCTION.   And MOST of the time, those who are STEEPED in WORLDLY WISDOM, think that God’s Plan for the SALVATION of mankind is FOOLISHNESS.  And they are prone to NOT BELIEVE in this PLAN or in the ONE who has the WISDOM to carry it out. They are then in the SELF-DESTRUCTIVE mode for their ETERNAL DESTINY, which will be ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you’re there. 



However, those who pursue GODLY WISDOM, their ETERNAL DESTINY is SECURED in JESUS CHRIST, and His SELFLESS act of REDEMPTION, the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE of His DEATH, and RESURRECTION for the SOULS of those who BELIEVE, and ACCEPT God’s Plan.  The Apostle Paul told the BELIEVERS in Corinth: “For the FOOLISHNESS of God is WISER than HUMAN wisdom, and the weakness of God is STRONGER than human STRENGTH.” (v 25)  And his message to them, is VERY APPLICABLE to the BELIEVERS, of TODAY. 



Those who HEAR the Word of God and respond POSITIVELY, to His Plan of SALVATION, will receive an ETERNAL DESTINY of HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, because they are following the WISDOM of GOD, and they are LIVING by His WISDOM.  Their TRUST is in GODLY WISDOM and NOT the WISDOM of the WORLD.  The Word of God tells us: “Blessed are those who find WISDOM, those who gain UNDERSTANDING. (Prov. 3:13) And “Do NOT let WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING out of your sight, preserve SOUND JUDGMENT and DISCRETION. (Prov. 3:21)



And this SOUND JUDGMENT and DISCRETION will lead us to GODLY WISDOM, and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you are living in the realm of WORLDLY WISDOM, and your ETERNAL DESTINY is HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you’re there.  So, you NOW have the opportunity to CHANGE your DESTINY, by SEEKING GODLY WISDOM, and WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and start living with GODLY WISDOM, and SECURE your ETERNAL DESTINY in HEAVEN.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Fully Trust"

“Fully Trust”

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.      Proverbs 3:5-6



To TRUST in the LORD with ALL your HEART, is to FULLY TRUST, WHOLE-HEARTEDLY. You should FULLY TRUST in HIS WISDOM, and NOT your own.  Because at BEST mankind’s WISDOM is FLAWED, the insights, ideas and general thoughts have a tendency to LEAN towards WORLDLY WISDOM, and will be TAINTED with untruths and even SELF-CENTEREDNESS.  And KEEP in mind that WISDOM comes from GOD, to begin with.  When one begins to think that THEIR wisdom is SUPERIOR to God’s they are in DEEP TROUBLE.  So DO NOT LEAN on YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, but FULLY TRUST in the WISDOM of the ALMIGHTY GOD, who is WISDOM.



To ACKNOWLEDGE Him in ALL your WAYS, doesn’t mean JUST KNOWING who God is, or what He’s done, but to INTIMATELY KNOW Him and His ways.  In order to do that, you MUST HAVE a RELATIONSHIP with Him.  And the ONLY WAY to do that, is to become a part of His Family, to be a TRUE CHILD of GOD.  And FULLY TRUST HIM to make your paths STRAIGHT.  This means that He will REMOVE obstacles or stumbling blocks to give His TRUE CHILD a SMOOTH PATH, to bring His Child to their ETERNAL GOAL.  And when they FOLLOW and FULLY TRUST GOD’S Wisdom, they could have a LESS PROBLEMATIC lifestyle. 



So, the LESSON to be LEARNED and TAKEN to HEART is:  DO NOT be WISE in your OWN eyes; FEAR the LORD and TURN AWAY from EVIL. (v7) In other words, be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS. Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS, God’s ONE and ONLY SON, died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before GOD.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and FULLY TRUST His WISDOM, and be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with all its HORRORS.  And RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

Therefore I, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love, diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds us.     Ephesians 4:1-3



I feel that the very first thing we need to know about being WORTHY of our CALLING is; the definition of the word “WORTHY.”  This word means: to be DESERVING.  So, what makes us WORTHY?  And what is our CALLING?  The ONE thing that makes a person WORTHY is GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE, for mankind.  And His desire that mankind be FORGIVEN of their SINS, and their REBELLION against Him and His Only Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who became the SUPREME SACRIFICE, by dying on a CRUEL, ROMAN CROSS, but then being RESURRECTED from DEATH and the GRAVE, so that mankind’s DESTINY would be an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, and for them to be able to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.   So, it’s by God’s ABUNDANT MERCY, AMAZING GRACE, that this is made POSSIBLE through His UNFAILING LOVE.  What makes us WORTHY, is when we become a TRUE CHILD of God, through our ACCEPTANCE of JESUS CHRIST, as our SAVIOR and LORD.



What is our CALLING?  The CALLING is for the SALVATION of one’s soul, thus giving them the HOPE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  And we are CALLED to “walk” or “live” WORTHY of that CALLING, by the LIFESTYLE we live, or the WITNESS we share with a LOST and DYING WORLD.  Humility, gentleness, patience, and ACCEPTING one another in LOVE, and diligently keeping the UNITY of the SPIRIT with PEACE, are the attributes of being WORTHY of OUR CALLING. 



However, for those who do NOT KNOW God, and do NOT OBEY the GOSPEL of our LORD JESUS, they will face PUNISHMENT with EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION, and shut out from the PRESENCE of the LORD and from the GLORY of HIS might.  (2 Thess. 1:8-9) They will be sentenced to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, this is YOUR ETERNAL DESTINY.  You can, however, CHANGE that DESTINY by:  WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU and that HE is alive in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, if you want to have an ETERNITY in Heaven, with ALL its BLESSINGS. And let Him make you WORTHY of your CALLING.  Do this NOW, while you still can.   He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

But Christ was faithful as a Son over His Household.  And we are that household if we hold on to the courage and the confidence of our hope.      Hebrews 3:6



Mankind puts their CONFIDENCE in a lot of things, during their lifetime on earth.  And a lot of those things brings them DISCOURAGEMENT, DISILLUSIONMENT, HEARTACHE and DESPAIR, because they have put their CONFIDENCE in WORLDLY things, which are NOT of an ETERNAL NATURE.  And MOST of the time their CONFIDENCE is in HUMAN BEINGS, who are very prone to FAILURE, because they use WORLDLY WISDOM and WORLDLY MEANS to provide what is needed.



However, for the TRUE BELIEVERS, who are the HOUSEHOLD of the ALMIGHTY GOD, and JESUS CHRIST, being God’s Son, who reigns over God’s Household, PROVES that the TRUE BELIEVER can have PEACE and CONFIDENCE in Him, as the ONLY ONE who can provide for them ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  Therefore, they CAN and SHOULD HOLD on to the COURAGE and the CONFIDENCE of their HOPE, which is ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  And they will be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.



God so LOVED the WORLD, ALL of MANKIND, that He GAVE His SON, Jesus Christ, as the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE for our sins.  And He commands us to LOVE EACH OTHER, if we REMAIN in LOVE, we REMAIN in GOD and God REMAINS in US.  And this LOVE is PERFECTED in us so we might have CONFIDENCE in the DAY of JUDGMENT.  We, who are TRUE BELIEVERS, CAN and SHOULD have CONFIDENCE in God’s UNFAILING LOVE, therefore, we can LOVE because He FIRST LOVED us.  And that is CONFIDENCE of our HOPE.



If you have NOT TRULY given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are NOT a TRUE BELIEVER, I’m NOT talking about being a church member, being a church member, will NOT make you a TRUE BELIEVER.  And you cannot possibly have CONFIDENCE in your HOPE, mainly because you really don’t have ANY HOPE for an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, unless you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be able to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and put your CONFIDENCE in your HOPE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Seek Him!"

Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.     Hebrews 11:6



A person CANNOT PLEASE GOD, apart from FAITH.  One MUST BELIEVE that God EXISTS.  I think the interesting part of this Scripture is the fact that Paul uses the word IMPOSSIBLE, and not the word DIFFICULT. He is implying that FAITH is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY in order to PLEASE GOD. There is NO OTHER WAY, NO OTHER MEANS you can use to PLEASE GOD, it is IMPOSSIBLE without FAITH. 



The FIRST part of that FAITH is to BELIEVE that GOD does EXISTS.  Some may want to BELIEVE that a person who is “GOOD” will surely make it into Heaven, because of ALL the “good” works they have done. But the Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:8 that, it is by GRACE we are SAVED, through FAITH, and this is NOT from ourselves; it is the GIFT of GOD, lest anyone should boast.  We are NOT justified by our works but by our FAITH in God and His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And without this FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to be PLEASING to GOD.



The SECOND part of PLEASING GOD, is to SEEK HIM, with ALL your HEART.  Because when you do that you will receive REWARDS and Paul tells us to: Not throw away our confidence (FAITH), which has a great reward.  For you need endurance, so that after you have done God’s will, you may RECEIVE what was PROMISED.  (Heb. 10:35-36)



However, for the UNBELIEVER, they will NOT be receiving REWARDS, but they will receive WRATH, INDIGNATION, AFFLLICTION and DISTRESS, because of their SELF-SEEKING nature, and their DISOBEDIENCE of the TRUTH, and their UNRIGHTEOUS souls. (Rom. 2:8)  And their DESTINY is an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.  They do NOT SEEK GOD, nor do they possess the FAITH that it takes to PLEASE HIM.



Is this your situation?  Are you facing the JUDGMENT SEAT of GOD, and His WRATH and COMDEMNATION? And is your DESTINY an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS?  This does NOT have to be your DESTINY.  If you will SEEK God, with ALL your HEART, and call out to Him for the SALVATION of your soul, He is FAITHFUL and will RESCUE you from your plight.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and with FAITH, be PLEASING to God, SEEK the LORD while He may be found; CALL to Him while He is NEAR.  (Isa. 55:6) Do this NOW while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.  And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.  But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.       1 Corinthians 10:13



From the time of Creation, with Adam and Eve until, the END of the world, MANKIND has been and will be TEMPTED to be DISOBEDIENT to their Creator, GOD.  Satan is the father of lies, he is the great DECEIVER, and any time he wants to bring shame to God, he does through the DISOBEDIENCE of MANKIND, and MORE SO if he can INFLUENCE a TRUE CHILD of GOD, into acts of DISOBEDIENCE.



A lot of times, the Devil will, DECEIVE people into BELIEVING that God doesn’t CARE what they THINK, SAY, or DO, and ESPECIALLY if it doesn’t affect or hurt someone else.  He also manages to get the individual to BELIEVE that they don’t possess the POWER to OVERCOME the temptation.  So, they are destined to FALL into the TEMPTATION, and then they will INDULGE in the TEMPTATION, and if they happen to be a TRUE CHILD of GOD, their FELLOWSHIP with God will be severed, until they CONFESS their sin and TURN BACK to Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.



The Apostle Paul tells us that the TEMPTATIONS that MANKIND faces are COMMON to them, and our GOD is FAITHFUL to NOT LET us be tempted, BEYOND what we ACTUALLY can BEAR.  Well, the LIE of Satan, that we have NO POWER to OVERCOME temptation, IS NULL and VOID.  And the LIE of Satan, that God doesn’t REALLY CARE what we THINK, SAY or DO, is ALSO NULL and VOID, because Paul tells us that GOD WILL NOT let us be TEMPTED BEYOND what we can BEAR.  And that WHEN we are TEMPTED, He will PROVIDE a WAY OUT so that we may ENDURE the TEMPTATION, and become MORE than CONQUERORS. 



Where do you stand?  A lot of people will MISS an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, because they preferred to INDULGE in the TEMPTATION, instead of ENDURING IT.  This SCENARIO is DANGEROUS and could mean the DIFFERENCE in a person’s ETERNITY.  If you are a TRUE BELIEVER, but you have allowed yourself to INDULGE in your TEMPTATION, and have NOT turned to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, the FIRST THING you need to do is to CHECK your SALVATION and make SURE you are a TRUE CHILD of GOD, then you NEED to TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and TURN AWAY FROM the TRANSGRESSION, or else you will be CHASTISED for your shortcomings, and you will LOSE your REWARDS. 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, and are CONTINUALLY INDULGING in your TEMPTATIONS, then you are in DANGER of spending your ETERNAL LIFE in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  But because of GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE, His ABUNDANT MERCY and AMAZING GRACE, He has PROVIDED a WAY for you to ESCAPE your TEMPTATIONS and an ETERNITY in HELL.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and be ABLE to ENDURE your TEMPTATIONS, instead of INDULGING in them.  Do this NOW, while you still can He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Having the HOPE of Eternal Life”

When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His Mercy.  He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.      Titus 3:4-7



In verse three, we see the condition of MANKIND before they become recipients of God’s AMAZING GRACE.  We, mankind, was/is DISOBEDIENT, FOOLISH, DECEIVED and ENSLAVED by all kinds of passions and pleasures. Mankind lives in MALICE, ENVY, and HATRED. BUT when God’s KINDNESS and LOVE, which was PERSONIFIED through the LIFE of JESUS CHRIST, appeared.  He SAVED us! 



He brought SALVATION to a LOST and DYING WORLD, and it was NOT done by our OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, but it was carried out because of HIS MERCY, He provided a WAY for MANKIND to NOT get what they deserve, but HE brought us SALVATION through REBIRTH and RENEWAL by His HOLY SPIRIT.  He WASHES us from the FILTH of our SINS and through the WORK of His HOLY SPIRIT, who INDWELLS every TRUE BELIEVER, He RENEWS our HEARTS and MINDS.   The Spirit Himself, testifies with our spirit that WE ARE GOD’S CHILDREN.               (Rom. 8:16) Do you have that consolation?  Do you POSSESS the HOPE of ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN?



If NOT, you can.  God’s plan of SALVATION for mankind, from the BEGINNING, will continue to the END, because of His UNFAILING LOVE, ABUNDANT MERCY, and His AMAZING GRACE.  It is His desire that NONE should PERISH, but ALL would come to Him for their SALVATION.  In order to do that, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and have the HOPE of ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.  Therefore, do not be partners with them.     Ephesians 5:6-7



We are living in a VERY WICKED, DEPRAVED WORLD, one in which MANY believe that WRONG is RIGHT, and RIGHT is WRONG, for instance, the taking of another human life, such as in the act of ABORTION.  Now MANY would argue the point, and I’m NOT hear to ARGUE with someone whose words, to ME, would be EMPTY WORDS, because I BELIEVE that ABORTION is MURDER. And this is NOT the ONLY subject in which, MANY believe that WRONG is RIGHT and RIGHT is WRONG.  There are MANY, even those who hold offices within our government, that are advocating doing AWAY with our LAW ENFORCEMENT, which would bring us to a TRUE LAWLESS SOCIETY.  And they are persuading and DECEIVING others with their EMPTY WORDS, which is WORDS that are VOID of CONTENT.  They hold VERY LITTLE if ANY TRUTH, and are conjured up in their minds, to DECEIVE the naïve, in order to get their AGENDAS accomplished, at the cost of the innocent people.



These UNGODLY acts of DISOBEDIENCE, stir the very WRATH of the ALMIGHTY GOD.  So the Apostle Paul WARNS us: to NOT become partners with them, in carrying out their DIABOLICAL schemes.  And their EMPTY WORDS will CONDEMN them, and God in His Wrath, will, on the Day of JUDGMENT, SENTENCE them to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.   So, BEWARE of those who are spouting WRONG as RIGHT and RIGHT as WRONG.  They will lead you down the SAME PATH they are on, and to the same ETERNAL DESTINY, using EMPTY WORDS. 



If you are on that SAME PATH and facing an ANGRY GOD, who will bring the SAME JUDGMENT on you, you NOW have the OPPORTUNITY to CHANGE your ETERNAL DESTINY, first by, NOT LISTENING  to their EMPTY WORDS, and by TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and DON’T take part in the EMPTY WORDS of a DOOMED UNBELIEVER.  And receive HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as your ETERNAL DESTINY.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.  But the one who endures to the end will be saved.  And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.      Matthew 24:12-14



If we look around us, and in the news, daily, we see just how much LAWLESSNESS is increasing, and the attitude of MANY is anything but LOVE, even to those who may PROFESS to be Christians, they may PROFESS it, but more than likely they do NOT POSSESS it, when they are easily persuaded by FALSE DOCTRINES, and are quick to COMPROMISE, when the going gets rough, and the main thing, is they have NOT really given their HEART and LIFE TOTALLY to God.



But those who are TRUE BELIEVERS, who are COMMITTED to the Lord Jesus Christ, and His Word, and are willing to TRUST HIM to see them through the ROUGH TIMES, times of PERSECUTION and RIDICULE, they will have their SALVATION come to COMPLETION, and will spend their ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, when He RETURNS.  



I believe that this WORLD is being made READY for its FINAL CLIMAX, with the SPREADING of the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL of GOD’S COMING KINGDOM.  This PROCLAMATION is being SPREAD throughout the WHOLE WORLD, today, as a TESTIMONY to ALL nations, and this will set the stage for the EVANGELISTIC THRUST, which will be carried out by the one hundred and forty-four witnesses worldwide, during the tribulation period.  We are using more avenues in technology, which will enable MORE PEOPLE to come to JESUS CHRIST, worldwide, even in the tribulation period.  Can the RAPTURE of the TRUE BELIVERS be very far away?



What is your situation?  Are you PROFESSING to be a CHRISTIAN, but actually NOT POSSESSING what is NEEDED to TRULY become one?  Or are you LOST and REBELLING AGAINST God and His SON, Jesus Christ?  Either way, you are DESTINED to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY OF ESCAPING after you are there.  In order to become a TRUE BELIEVER, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TRULY TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  And you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and ENDURE TO THE END.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"The Light That Shines Out of the Darkness"

“The Light That Shines Out of the Darkness”

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His Light shine in our hearts to give us the Light of the Knowledge of God’s Glory displayed in the Face of Christ.     2 Corinthians 4:6



In the account of the Creation of the World, God called LIGHT out of the DARKNESS, which is the physical LIGHT. (Gen. 1:2-4) So in SPIRITUAL CREATION, God brings HIS LIGHT to the DARKENED HEARTS of those who are LIVING in SIN.  This LIGHT is KNOWLEDGE of GOD’S GLORY, His SALVATION, which is SEEN in the FACE of CHRIST, who is NOT ONLY the SON of God, but is GOD in the FLESH.  And there is SALVATION in NO OTHER person, way or means.   ONLY through the SHED BLOOD of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the LIGHT of the WORLD. 



When people are in the DARKNESS of their sins, they have NO KNOWLEDGE of GOD, and there is NO RELATIONSHIP with Him, because they have NOT experienced His SALVATION.  When a person comes to Jesus Christ for the SALVATION of their soul, they begin to KNOW GOD, and to EXPERIENCE His SALVATION, which was purchased by the SHED BLOOD of JESUS, His SON, so that MANKIND might be delivered out of the DARKNESS of their sins and into the LIGHT, which is JESUS CHRIST.   John 1:5 says: “The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has NOT overcome it.”  Does GOD’S LIGHT shine in your HEART, or are you still LIVING in the DARKNESS?



Since the darkness of sin CANNOT OVERCOME God’s Light, we have ASSURANCE of our SALVATION, and we can KNOW GOD, and have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him because of the Lord Jesus’ Proclamation:  “I have come into the world as a LIGHT, so that NO ONE who BELIEVES in ME should stay in the darkness.” (John 1:4) JESUS CHRIST is your ONLY HOPE, to be able to come out of the darkness of your sinful lifestyle, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNAL DESTINY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  Is it your HOPE, to spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS?



If that is your HOPE, then you MUST let GOD’S LIGHT SHINE out of the DARKNESS of your sinful life by:  TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, COME OUT of the DARKNESS, and INTO GOD’S LIGHT by TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him and ASK His for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and start LIVING in GOD’S LIGHT and let it SHINE out of the DARKNESS for ALL to SEE what God has done for YOU.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"The Judgment Seat of Christ"

“The Judgment Seat of Christ”

For we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for their deeds in the body, according to what they have done, whether good or bad.      2 Corinthians 5:10



This event will take place AFTER the RAPTURE of the Church, (the true believers).  The TRUE BELIEVERS are the ONLY ONES that will be at the Judgment Seat of Christ.  They will NOT be JUDGED for their sins, because Jesus Christ has already taken care of that.  The Judgment Seat of Christ is NOT to determine whether they are SAVED or NOT.  SALVATION is NOT the issue here.  The JUDGMENT SEAT of CHRIST, is for the TRUE BELIEVER’S works to be JUDGED and the MOTIVES for those deeds. 



Their GOOD WORKS, which are carried out by FAITH, a LABOR of LOVE and the STEADFASTNESS of their HOPE in the Lord JESUS Christ, they will RECEIVE REWARDS that they have earned.  But the WORKS that were done, in order to be patted on the back, and to receive PRAISE from MANKIND, the WORKS that were carried out by PRIDE and the DESIRE to be NOTICED by others, the WORKS, they could BRAG about, they all will be BURNED-UP.  Those are the BAD works, BECAUSE they were carried out in the FLESH, with FLESHLY MOTIVES.



The Apostle Paul tells us that; “each person’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with FIRE, and the FIRE itself will test the quality of EACH person’s work.  If anyone’s work which they have built on it remains, they will receive a reward.  If anyone’s work is BURNED-UP, they will suffer LOSS; but they themselves will be SAVED, yet as through fire.”  (1Corinthians 3:13-15)



Now, the questions are: 1.  Will you be at the JUDGMENT SEAT of CHRIST, and are you SERVING Him by FAITH?  Will you receive many or ANY rewards?  OR 2.  Will you have to be JUDGED by the ALMIGHTY GOD, at the GREAT WHITE THRONE of JUDGMENT for your SINS, because you have REJECTED GOD’S gift of SALVATION, through His ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST? However, God has a PLAN for you to FOLLOW, if you want to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him, and ASKING Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before GOD.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and SERVE the LORD by FAITH, in a LABOR of LOVE, and a STEADFAST HOPE in Him.  And STAND before the JUDGMENT SEAT of CHRIST to RECEIVE ALL your REWARDS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living.  But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”      Joshua 24:15



We all have MANY, MANY choices, we MUST make, EVERY day.  I BELIEVE with ALL my HEART, that the MOST IMPORTANT choice a person will EVER make is the CHOICE to ACCEPT or REJECT the LIVING GOD and His ONLY Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His LIFE so we might have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with all its BLESSINGS.  When we make THAT choice, we are CHOOSING our OWN destiny. 



To ACCEPT the ALMIGHTY GOD and His SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, you are CHOOSING HEAVEN as our ETERNAL DESTINY.  But if you REJECT GOD and HIS SON, you are CHOOSING HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPING, after you are there, as your ETERNAL DESTINY. 



Joshua put it pretty clearly, the people had a CHOICE to make.  They could SERVE the LORD or CHOOSE for themselves, right then, that very day, whom they would SERVE.  They could CHOOSE, either the gods of their ancestors, or the gods of the country they were presently living in, which would be the gods of the AMORITES.  Then, Joshua declared: “But as for ME and MY household, WE WILL SERVE the LORD.” 



The sins of IDOLATRY are GREAT TRANSGRESSIONS against God, and these sins stir His WRATH to ENORMOUS measures.  One of the first things that God made very evident to the Israelites is that they were to have NO OTHER gods before Him.  But the Israelites made their OWN CHOICES, many times, to go AGAINST the LIVING GOD, and to EMBRACE the FALSE gods, usually of the nation, in which they lived.  And the GENTILES, are NO DIFFERENT, MANY of them, also, CHOOSE to EMBRACE the WORLDLY IDOLS of their OWN making. 



James 4:4, says to those who CHOOSE to SERVE and to WORSHIP OTHER gods: “You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means ENMITY against God?  Therefore, ANYONE who CHOOSES to be a friend of the WORLD becomes an ENEMY of God.”  You CANNOT have it both ways.  You CANNOT COMPROMISE.  You MUST CHOOSE TODAY who you will serve.  What will be your ETERNAL DESTINY?  In order to CHOOSE GOD, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and CHOOSE WISELY. Your choice WILL determine your ETERNAL DESTINY, HEAVEN or HELL? NO COMPROMISE, GOD or NOTHING.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Be Strong and Courageous!"

“Be Strong and Courageous!”

“Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”     Joshua 1:9



God knew that Joshua had some feelings, concerning his calling in taking over Moses’ position, as LEADER of the Israelites, and being able to take them into the Promised Land.  Joshua may have been apprehensive about his role in such a MONUMENTAL task. 



In verse five, God told Joshua: “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life.  As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will NEVER leave you nor FORSAKE you.  In verse six He tells Joshua, “BE STRONG and COURAGEOUS,” in verse seven:  He tells him again “BE STRONG and VERY COURAGEOUS.  And then again in verse nine, our verse for today.



Sounds to me like Joshua was in need of some ENCOURAGEMENT and maybe a little CHARACTER-BUILDING. Much like the TRUE BELIEVER of today, we, like Joshua, NEED to BE STRONG and COURAGEOUS, in facing these Last Days.  We NEED to face EACH DAY TRUSTING God by KNOWING and BELIEVING that He is with us, and He will NEVER LEAVE us NOR FORSAKE us. 



The Apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 16:13,14, tells us to: “Be on your guard; STAND FIRM in the FAITH; BE COURAGEOUS; BE STRONG.  Do EVERYTHING in LOVE.” These Words of ENCOURAGEMENT for the TRUE BELIEVER are NECESSARY.   We NEED to be ENCOURAGED in our FAITH, especially when we are faced with the opposition, and we suffer because of who we are and what we stand for.   And because the GOD of ALL grace, who CALLED you to His ETERNAL GLORY in CHRIST, after you have suffered a little while, will HIMSELF RESTORE you and make you STRONG, FIRM and STEADFAST.  (1 Peter 5:10)



So, what about the UNBELIEVER?  Well, they too, will have to live through the PERILOUS TIMES, which we will all face.  But they will also have to SUFFER through the HORRORS of the TRIBULATION period, and if they don’t give their HEART and LIFE to God, they will SUFFER for ALL ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.  However, they have the OPPORTUNITY NOW, to TURN AWAY FROM their sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING their sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVING, with ALL their HEART, that JESUS CHRIST, died for them, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them, before God.  They MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and BE STRONG and VERY COURAGEOUS in their FAITH. And KNOW for SURE that their ETERNAL DESTINATION will be in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"The Hidden Face of God"

“The Hidden Face of God”

Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear.  But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.     Isaiah 59:1-2



I know this passage, as well as most of the Book of Isaiah pertains mainly with the Nation of Israel, however, there are some things that don’t change, when it comes to a RIGHTEOUS RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD.  First, SIN is SIN, not matter, who is GUILTY, whether INDIVIDUALLY or COLLECTIVELY (such as the sins of a nation).  In God’s eyes, the iniquities of the people are VILE, SHAMEFUL, AND DETESTABLE actions committed AGAINST Him.  And these INIQUITIES separate them from God, to the point of Him HIDDING His Face from them, and His EAR is DEAF to them.



In verse four Isaiah tells the Nation: “No one calls for justice; no one pleads a case with integrity.  They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.”  In verse seven he says; “Their feet RUSH into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. They pursue evil schemes; acts of violence mark their ways.  Verse nine says: “So JUSTICE is FAR from us, and RIGHTEOUSNESS does NOT reach us.  We look for light, but ALL is darkness; for BRIGHTNESS, but we walk in DEEP SHADOWS.  The LORD looked and was DISPLEASED that there was NO JUSTICE. 



We see the SIN, and NOW we NEED the CONFESSION:  2 Chronicles 7:14,  “If My People, who are called by My Name, will HUMBLE themselves and PRAY, and SEEK My Face and TURN FROM their wicked ways, then I will HEAR from Heaven, and I will FORGIVE their SIN and will HEAL their land.”  And REDEMPTION comes:  1 John 1:9: “If we CONFESS our sins, He is FAITHFUL and JUST and WILL FORGIVE us our sins and purify us from ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.”  And that is, REDEMPTION for ANYONE and ANY NATION. 



Have you been SEEKING the FACE of the Almighty God?  Have you given your HEART and LIFE to Him?  Or are you LIVING in the DEEP SHADOWS of your sinful lifestyle, DESTINED for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE, once you’re there?   You can be SET FREE from your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and CHANGE your DESTINY to an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, by TURNING AWAY FROM  your sinful lifestyle and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS, God’s ONLY SON, died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and start WINNING your NATION to God, through your OWN individual TESTIMONY of what God can do.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.   He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Judgment on Sinful, Unfaithful Nations”

The Word of the LORD came to me:  “Son of man, if a country sins against Me by being unfaithful and I stretch out My Hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its people and their animals, even if these three men---Noah, Daniel and Job---were in it, they could save ONLY themselves by their righteousness,” declares the Sovereign LORD.      Ezekiel 14:12-14



Verses 12-14 are the first part of four “HYPOTHETICAL” scenarios of JUDGMENT.  And ALL four scenarios will be used during the Tribulation Period, when the Almighty God, pours out His WRATH in JUDGMENT on the WHOLE EARTH, because of their SINFULNESS and UNFAITHFUL behavior. 



The four scenarios of JUDGMENT on the SINFUL, UNFAITHFUL NATION is:  To CUT-OFF their FOOD SUPPLY and send a FAMINE.  To send WILD BEASTS throughout the land devouring EVERYTHING and leaving it DESOLATE.  And by SWORD, the KILLING of both mankind and animals.  And sending a PLAGUE. 



Then the Sovereign God of the World and ALL its CREATION, says: “Even if NOAH, DANIEL and JOB---were in the land, they could SAVE ONLY themselves by THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS. They would NOT be ABLE to SAVE their own CHILDREN.  It is a very BLEAK and HOPELESS situation.  Yet this is what awaits those who CONTINUALLY REJECT and ABUSE God’s Gift of SALVATION, those who are UNFAITHFUL and DISOBEDIENT to Him and His WAYS.  Those who will go through the TRIBULATION, WILL experience these situations, and MANY will NOT be ABLE to ESCAPE.  MANY will DIE both a PHYSICAL DEATH and a SPIRITUAL DEATH. The SPIRITUAL DEATH will be an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after their there.  



The SINFUL, UNFAITHFUL NATIONS that are FLAUNTING their SINS and DISOBEDIENCE in the FACE of a HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD, will be CONDEMNED and SENTENCED by that HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD.  It is Mankind that makes up the NATIONS, so it is by their CHOICES that the NATIONS will be held ACCOUNTABLE.  Will you be GUILTY of the SINS and DISOBEDIENCE that they will bring?  This is NOT what GOD wants for His CREATION.



God has a PLAN that will FREE you from your SINS, UNFAITHFULNESS and GUILT.  You MUST TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and ESCAPE CONDEMNATION, JUDGMENT, and an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  And RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Encouragement in Troubled Times”

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow Him.  Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.  Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.                 Colossians 2:6-7



When a person comes to Jesus for the SALVATION of their soul, they SHOULD ACCEPT Him as their SAVIOR and LORD, they MUST FOLLOW HIM in OBEDIENCE to the Word of God.  And put OFF their OLD HABITS, and EMBRACE their NEW LIFE in Christ Jesus.  They can do that by, ALLOWING their ROOTS to GROW down DEEP in CHRIST and then embark upon BUILDING their LIFE on Him.  And when they do this, wholeheartedly, their FAITH will grow STRONG in the TRUTH, in which they are being TAUGHT.  This is ENCOURAGING to EVERY TRUE BELIEVER, because they have HOPE in their FUTURE DESTINY.  And with that HOPE, they should have a THANKFUL HEART.



The Apostle Paul issues a WARNING in the middle of his ENCOURAGING WORDS, he says:  “Don’t let anyone capture you with EMPTY PHILOSOPHIES and HIGH-SOUNDING nonsense that comes from HUMAN THINKING and from spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.”(v8) Paul was concerned about FALSE TEACHERS influencing the COLOSSIAN BELIEVERS with FALSE WORDS and FALSE PHILOSOPHY.  Words and philosophies that were EMPTY of TRUTH and WISDOM, and were nothing more than HIGH-SOUNDING NONSENSE.  FANCY SOUNDING WORDS with little or NO TRUTH or WISDOM, and their SUBSTANCE was EMPTY and without TRUTH, because it was WORLDLY, HUMAN THINKING, void of ANYTHING GODLY.  The TRUE BELIEVER was to BE CAREFUL NOT to LET ANYONE capture them with such NONSENSE.



Then the Apostle Paul gives us more ENCOURAGING WORDS: “For in Christ lives ALL the FULLNESS of God in a human body.  So you also are COMPLETE through your union with Christ, who is the HEAD OVER EVERY RULER and AUTHORITY.”  (vv 9-10)



Only in JESUS CHRIST can a person have FULLNESS.  Apart from Him, there is EMPTINESS and DESPAIR.  The “Deity” of Christ is in His EMBODIMENT of the Almighty God, remember JESUS CHRIST is GOD in the FLESH.   Not only does JESUS have the FULLNESS of GOD, but the TRUE BELIEVER has been given the FULLNESS of CHRIST.  Meaning that they can SHARE in the GOODNESS of God’s nature.  And they are apart of the BODY of CHRIST.  The One who is the HEAD over EVERY POWER and AUTHORITY.  What ENCOURAGEMENT for Living in TROUBLED TIMES!  Because we, the TRUE BELIEVERS, KNOW who is in CONTROL, and we have the ASSURANCE and HOPE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do you have that ASSURANCE and HOPE?  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you really don’t have that FULLNESS or the ASSURANCE and HOPE for your ETERNITY.   But here is some ENCOURAGEMENT for you:  The Almighty God has a PLAN, in order for you to have that FULLNESS, ASSURANCE and HOPE, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and His FULLNESS, ASSURANCE and HOPE of an ETERNITY in Heaven.  This is ENCOURAGEMENT for TROUBLED TIMES!  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

How great are His miracles, and how mighty His wonders!  His Kingdom is an Eternal Kingdom, and His Dominion is from generation to generation.   Daniel 4:3

Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to eternal life, and some to shame and eternal contempt.      Daniel 12:2



This devotion may be a little different then most that I post, but I TOTALLY TRUST God to give me the message HE WANTS me to post.  I really don’t know WHERE this will go or to the one who NEEDS to READ it.  But I MUST BE OBEDIENT to the ALMIGHTY GOD, the ETERNAL KING.



Daniel 4:3 is a proclamation of one of the most powerful kings in Biblical times.  Nebuchadnezzar, he was not only POWERFUL, but he was EGOTISTICAL, ARROGANT, PRIDEFUL, and a TRUE PAGAN.  And God had put up with Nebuchadnezzar for twelve months, I guess, we could call it his “Day of Grace.”  Maybe God was giving him the opportunity to TURN AWAY FROM his SINFUL LIFESTYLE and to TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, but Nebuchadnezzar, in his PRIDEFUL way REJECTED God, and he paid dearly for his mistake.



This proclamation in Daniel 4:3 happened before Nebuchadnezzar’s interlude of JUDGMENT, by the ALMIGHTY GOD, the ETERNAL KING, who sent the POWERFUL, ARROGANT, EGOTISTICAL, PAGAN KING, outdoors to LIVE like a wild animal in the field, eating grass with the other animals, and he had the mind of an animal for SEVEN YEARS. 



The ETERNAL GOD had given Nebuchadnezzar a dream, that kind of ROCKED his world.  He was SO IMPRESSED with the MIRACULOUS SIGNS and WONDERS of the MOST HIGH GOD, that he PROCLAIMED the VIRTUES of the MOST HIGH GOD, the ETERNAL KING, and His SOVEREIGN POWER and WILL.  But it did NOT cause him to become a BELIEVER, YET!   Nebuchadnezzar was facing the fall of God’s JUDGMENT, by being KNOCKED OFF his PEDSTAL of POWER, ARROGANCY, and EGO.  He had to be KNOCKED DOWN, before he could look up, and see the ALMIGHTY GOD, the ETERNAL KING of the UNIVERSE, before he could ACCEPT GOD as His ETERNAL KING.  Are you like Nebuchadnezzar, destined to be PUNISHED for your SINFUL LIFESTYLE?  At least Nebuchadnezzar learned that, it is GOD, who RULES and His WILL, will be DONE, because He is the ALMIGHTY GOD, the ETERNAL KING, and if you CONTINUE to REBEL against Him, then you WILL face JUDGMENT and be SENTENCED to an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE, after you are there. 

Daniel 12:2 tells us that ALL, who die, will awake, some to ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its blessings and some to SHAME and ETERNAL CONTEMPT.  You, NOW, have the OPPORTUNITY to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL and GAIN an ETERNITY in HEAVEN by, TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and ACCEPT Him as the ALMIGHTY GOD, the ETERNAL KING.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!
