But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives, love, joy, peace patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness gentleness and self-control.  There is no law against these things.   Gal. 5:22,23

 

We have looked at six different virtues, that EVERY TRUE BELIEVER, should possess.  The first three deal with HABITS of the MIND, which are:  LOVE, JOY, and PEACE. The second three virtues deal with the RELATIONSHIPS we have with each other.  They are PATIENCE, KINDNESS, and GOODNESS.  Today, we will look at the FINAL THREE virtues, which deal with the GENERAL CONDUCT of the TRUE BELIEVER.  They are FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS and SELF-CONTROL

Let’s look at the VIRTUE of FAITHFULNESS, this word describes the TRUE BELIEVER, to be LOYAL and TRUSTWORTHY with their PROMISES, and their COMMITMENTS.  When we are FAITHFUL in our RELATIONSHIP with GOD, He will be FAITHFUL to us.  And our FAITHFULNESS can be a STRONG WITNESS to the UNBELIEVER, because we are showing our ALLEGIANCE to the ALMIGHTY GOD, whose LOVE is UNFAILING and ETERNAL, and His FAITHFULNESS CONTINUES to EACH generation. 

The next virtue is GENTLENESS, which indicates SUBMISSION to God’s Holy Word. James 1:21 tells us: to get RID of ALL the filth and evil in our lives, and HUMBLY ACCEPT the WORD God has PLANTED in our HEARTS, for it has the POWER to SAVE our SOULS.   This virtue is being CONSIDERATE of OTHERS when DISCIPLINE is NEEDED.  2 Timothy 2:25 says:  Gently instruct those who oppose the truth.  Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the TRUTH.

The last virtue is SELF-CONTROL, which is being able to CONTROL or CURB your FLESHLY IMPULSES.  A quality such as this is IMPOSSIBLE to OBTAIN apart from the POWER of GOD’S SPIRIT.   

When we LIVE a SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE then we will experience these VIRTUES which are the FRUIT of the SPIRIT.  You cannot LIVE such a life and be able to possess the FRUIT of the SPIRIT until you come to GOD through His Only Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who DIED to SAVE your SOUL from an ETERNITY in HELL. If you have not come to JESUS, you NEED to do so NOW.  Here is what you MUST DO.  You MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for YOU, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and POSSESS the FRUIT of the SPIRIT. And ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, and receive an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON.  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

Today, we will be looking at the second part of the Fruit of the Spirit. Remember, last time, we talked about the first set of three virtues (fruit), which was LOVE, JOY, and PEACE. This group are HABITS of the MIND, and the SOURCE of these virtues are found in the ALMIGHTY GOD.   

The second group of three virtues are; PATIENCE, KINDNESS, and GOODNESS, which are STRENGTHENED MENTALLY or MORALLY, by the first three virtues; LOVE, JOY, and PEACE.  PATIENCE, KINDNESS and GOODNESS, are evidences of the SPIRIT of GOD, working in the MINDS and HEARTS of EVERY TRUE BELIEVER, and they deal with their ATTITUDES and RELATIONSHIPS with other people.   

The first of the SECOND group of virtues is PATIENCE, which is the QUALITY of FORBEARANCE under PROVOCATION.  It is  BEARING UP under being PROVOKED.  And not having thoughts of RETALIATION, even when they are WRONGFULLY  treated.  TRUE BELIEVERS should make allowances for each other’s faults, and FORGIVE ANYONE who OFFENDS you. REMEMBER: The Lord Jesus Christ, FORGAVE YOU, so you MUST FORGIVE OTHERS. (Col. 3:13)

The second virtue (fruit) in this SECOND group is KINDNESS.  KINDNESS is, COMPASSION in ACTION.  This is LIKE when GOD showed His COMPASSION and LOVE by giving His SALVATION to those who will BELIEVE in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, while we were yet SINNERS, JESUS CHRIST DIED for US.

The next and last virtue in this GROUP is; GOODNESS, GOODNESS means the same as GRACIOUSNESS, which is being GRACIOUS and doing GRACIOUS deeds for others, even when they are UNDESERVED.  REMEMBER:  GRACE is receiving something we DON’T DESERVE.  We, in our SINFUL NATURE, do NOT DESERVE GOD’s LOVE nor His GRACE.  But NEVERTHELESS, He LOVES mankind SO MUCH that He WILLINGLY GAVE His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, to SUFFER, BLEED, and DIE, for ALL of MANKIND.  And to give them an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.   

Do you possess these VIRTUES.  Is your DESTINY an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS?  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, then you are headed for an ETERNITY in HELL.  But, you have the OPPORTUNITY, NOW, to change that DESTINY.  You MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and ALLOW the HOLY SPIRIT of the LIVING GOD, to INSTILL in YOU the FRUIT of the SPIRIT.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

What makes a Christian to be CHRIST-LIKE?  It is LIVING under the POWER of the Holy Spirit, who indwells EVERY TRUE BELIEVER at the time of their CONVERSION.  In verse sixteen of Chapter five, the Apostle Paul tells us that we should let the HOLY SPIRIT guide our lives.  Then we won’t be doing what our SINFUL nature craves.  You see, our SINFUL NATURE wants us to do EVIL, which is the OPPOSITE of what the SPIRIT wants.  

The Apostle Paul tells us that those who LIVE their LIFE according to their SINFUL NATURE, will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. (Vv18-21).   So, let’s look at the first three VIRTUES (fruit) of the TRUE BELIEVER, these are habits of their mind  1. LOVE, this LOVE is an AGAPE kind of LOVE, it is a GODLY TYPE of LOVE and it is listed FIRST, because it is the FOUNDATION of the other VIRTUES.  In 1John 4:8, John tells us that GOD is LOVE and He LOVES the World (John 3:16).  This SELF-SACRIFICING LOVE is what sent JESUS CHRIST, GOD’S ONLY SON, to DIE for SINFUL MANKIND.  It is the KIND of LOVE that the TRUE BELIEVERS, who are SPIRIT-CONTROLLED exemplify.  

2. JOY, this JOY is a DEEP, ABIDING INNER REJOICING that was PROMISED to those who ABIDE in CHRIST JESUS.  It is NOT DEPENDENT on outer CIRCUMSTANCES, because it solely rests in the ALMIGHTY GOD’S SOVEREIGN CONTROL of ALL things. 

3. PEACE, this PEACE is a Gift from the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  It is an INNER CALMNESS and QUIETNESS even in ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCES. It is a GIFT from the LORD JESUS CHRIST, to the TRUE BELIEVER.  John 14:23, are the words of JESUS:  “I am leaving you with a gift—-PEACE of MIND and HEART.  And the PEACE I GIVE is a gift that the world cannot give.   So, don’t be troubled or afraid. 

As a TRUE BELIEVER you SHOULD be EXEMPLIFYING these three FRUITS of the SPIRIT.  Do you?  Next time we will talk about the NEXT three FRUITS that SHOULD BE EVIDENT in EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.  

If you have NOT GIVEN your HEART and LIFE to GOD, through the SHED BLOOD of His Son, Jesus Christ, then you do NOT POSSESS these VIRTUES, and you are headed for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there.  In order to ESCAPE that DESTINY and possess the FRUIT of the SPIRIT, you MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS DIED for YOU and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for YOU before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to HIM and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And You MUST ACCEPT God’s gift of SALVATION and RECEIVE the HOLY SPIRIT and start LIVING a SPIRIT-CONTROLLED LIFE. Then YOU can exemplify these FRUITS of the SPIRIT.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

“I tell you, her sins—-and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown Me much LOVE, but a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.”   Luke 7:47

 

In the final verses of chapter seven, in the Book of Luke, he tells us that one of the Pharisees, invited Jesus to have dinner with him.  Jesus accepted the invitation.  And when Jesus sat down to eat, an IMMORAL woman from the city, who had heard that Jesus would be at the Pharisee’s house, took an Alabaster jar filled with some expensive perfume and made her way to Simon ‘s house.  During the meal, she snuck into where they were dining, and she knelt down behind Him, at His feet, and began to WEEP, her tears fell on His feet and she wiped them with her hair, and then she put the expensive perfume on His feet. 

Now, Simon, the Pharisee said to himself, “If He was a prophet, He would know what kind of woman is touching Him.   SHE’S A SINNER!!”  Some people believe that they are SO SINFUL that God would or could NOT FORGIVE them.  But this is what Jesus told Simon: “I tell you, her SINS—-and they are MANY—-have been FORGIVEN, because she has shown Me much LOVE.”  This SINFUL woman wasn’t FORGIVEN because of HER LOVE, but she LOVED because she was FORGIVEN.  We who are FORGIVEN of our SINS and are TRUE BELIEVERS, LOVE GOD, because HE FIRST LOVED US. And sent His ONLY Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST to DIE on an OLD RUGGED CROSS, so that SINFUL MANKIND, no matter how SINFUL they are can have GOD’S FORGIVENESS. 

In verse forty-eight, Jesus said to the SINFUL WOMAN: “Your SINS are FORGIVEN.” Are YOUR SINS FORGIVEN?  The FOUR WORDS that can CHANGE your ETERNAL DESTINY are: “YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN!” 

If you have NOT been FORGIVEN, then your ETERNAL destiny is spending ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  It does not MATTER how MANY or how BAD your SINS are.  The BLOOD of JESUS CAN COVER THEM ALL. 

 In order to CHANGE your ETERNAL DESTINY, you MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in need of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who gave His LIFE to SAVE your SOUL. And you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINS and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and KNOW that YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can!!!  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

I listen carefully to what God the LORD is saying, for He speaks PEACE to His FAITHFUL people.  But let them NOT return to their foolish ways.   Psalm 85:8

 

Hearing and Listening are two different things that can cause problems for humanity, and often does.  Hearing is the faculty or sense by which sound is perceived. Listening is to pay ATTENTION; HEED and OBEY. So many times, people will HEAR but they aren’t really LISTENING to what is being said.  And this problem can produce TROUBLE and TURMOIL.  

But we see in our Scripture, the Psalmist says: “I LISTEN CAREFULLY to what God the LORD is saying.”  So, he is NOT just HEARING he is PAYING ATTENTION to what the LORD God is SAYING.  Why? Because the LORD GOD speaks PEACE to His FAITHFUL people. That is to those who have TRUSTED Him for their SALVATION.  And they KNOW that HE is the ONLY ONE who can bring PERFECT PEACE.  His PEACE is NOT like the WORLD brings, but it is PERFECT and ETERNAL for His TRUE BELIEVERS.  

 

Verse nine says: Surely “His SALVATION is NEAR to those who fear Him, so our land will be filled with His GLORY.”  The word GLORY means the MANIFESTATION of His Presence. These ideas find the ULTIMATE FULFILLMENT in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And in the Gospel of John, chapter one, verse fourteen, the Apostle John tells us that “The Word became HUMAN and made His Home among us.   He was full of UNFAILING LOVE and FAITHFULNESS.  And we have seen His GLORY, the GLORY of the Father’s ONE and ONLY Son.”  Have you been LISTENING or only HEARING what God is saying to YOU?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God through His ONLY SON, Jesus Christ, then you are NOT LISTENING, maybe only HEARING what He has to SAY to YOU.  TIME is SHORT, we are so CLOSE to the END of TIME, and NOW is the TIME to RECEIVE God’s SALVATION and its PERFECT PEACE for an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  And to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there.

You MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, Jesus Christ, who SUFFERED, BLED, DIED and was RAISED from the DEAD, and is NOW VERY MUCH ALIVE.  You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINS, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and LISTEN to His VOICE!!  God gave the Jews a WARNING; He told them that they were NOT to RETURN to their FOOLISH WAYS.  This WARNING is VERY MUCH APPLICABLE to the TRUE BELIEVERS of Today.  We SHOULD cut ties with our OLD FOOLISH WAYS and TRUST GOD with our SALVATION and PERFECT PEACE.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to Me!  Anyone who believes in Me may come and drink!  For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’    John 7:37-38

 

LIVING WATER, is NOT the same thing as the WATER you get from the faucet, fridge or from a well.  This Water, that the Lord was talking about was/is a SPIRITUAL WATER, that one can ONLY get from the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is the ONLY THING that will QUENCH the SPIRITUAL THIRST of a WRETCHED, PARCHED, soul.  

 

Now, the interesting part of this is the INVITATION that JESUS offers when He said: “Anyone who is thirsty may come to Me!”   Remember, that He’s talking about having a SPIRITUAL THIRST.  And then he adds: “Anyone who BELIEVES in Me may COME and DRINK.   This was an offer of SALVATION.  And an INVITATION to have their poor, wretched, parched, sin-sick soul REVIVED with LIVING WATER.  

 

This LIVING WATER that JESUS is referring to, is the HOLY SPIRIT of the LIVING GOD.  And for the one who comes to JESUS for their SALVATION, BELIEVING in Him and ACCEPTING His INVITATION to COME and DRINK, will receive the PRECIOUS GIFT of the HOLY SPIRIT, who is the LIVING WATER, and they will receive a CONTINUAL source of SATISFACTION, which will provide LIFE CONTINUALLY.

 

In order to receive this PRECIOUS LIVING WATER, YOU MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who SUFFERED, BLED, and DIED, to REDEEM mankind from their SINS.  They MUST BELIEVE, with ALL their HEART, that JESUS died for them PERSONALLY, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them before God.  They MUST CONFESS their SINS to God and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  They MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM their SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And they MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and receive the ONLY LIVING WATER that can SATISFY their WRETCHED, PARCHED, soul.  And KEEP them OUT of an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL of its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once they are there.  And to give them an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS. So, do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

For God loved the world so much that He gave His Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not die but have Eternal Life.   John 3:16

 

What is the purpose of having EASTER?  It’s NOT new clothes, or vacation time, it’s not Easter baskets filled with LOTS of GOODIES, like CHOCOLATE Bunnies, and CHICKS, with pretty-colored Easter eggs, and ALL kinds of other things.  

The TRAGEDY of EASTER DAY is that most children believe that these material things are the reason for the holiday.  They don’t know what the REAL REASON is for celebrating this DAY.  To be honest with you, I try NOT to call it EASTER, but instead I like to call it RESURRECTION DAY!  Because JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY SON, was horribly beaten to the point of not being able to recognize who He was.  He was tortured when he hung on that old rugged cross. And He shed His BLOOD to SAVE ALL mankind.  He was laid in a TOMB and then in THREE DAYS, He was RESURRECTED or BROUGHT OUT of the TOMB.  And so, His part of the SALVATION PLAN was FINISHED.  Now, it was time for MANKIND to RESPOND to GOD’s INVITATION to become a part of His Family.

Would they RESPOND in a POSITIVE manner?  NO!  Some people have ACCEPTED God’s Invitation, but MOST have NOT.   God did NOT send His Only Son into the world to be its JUDGE, but to be its SAVIOR.  And those who BELIEVE in the Son are NOT JUDGED, but those who do NOT BELIEVE are ALREADY JUDGED, because they have NOT BELIEVED in God’s Only Son.  

And so, this is the TRUE BELIEVER’S HOPE:  That they are SET FREE from their SINS and will one day be RESURRECTED, like our LORD JESUS and become a part of God’s Family with an ETERNITY in Heaven with ALL its BLESSINGS and be able to ESCAPE HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there.  This is WHY we CELEBRATE RESURRECTION DAY.

The Bunny Rabbit, the Witches and Ghosts, nor Santa Claus, SUFFERED, BLED, and DIED to SAVE your SOUL from an ETERNITY in HELL.  Does your CHILDREN or GRANDCHILDREN, know who JESUS is and what He has done for them?  Do you KNOW the IMPACT this KNOWLEDGE will have on YOUR and THEIR ETERNITY?

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, who PAID THE PRICE to SECURE you an ETERNITY in HEAVEN then you TRULY don’t KNOW or BELIEVE, but you can, if you will ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFE-STYLE and TURN to GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and KNOW the REAL REASON for CELEBRATING RESURRECTION DAY (Easter) and SHARE IT with YOUR CHILDREN.  Do this NOW while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priests and asked, “How much will you pay me to betray Jesus to you?”   Matthew 26:14-16

Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus Christ’s twelve disciples, and the one who handled the group’s funds.  And in doing so, we can see him for what he REALLY was.  He was GREEDY, DECEIVING, SCHEMING and BAD to the BONE!!  

There was MORE to it, than JUST BETRAYAL, he also was willing to WITNESS AGAINST Jesus when He came to trial.  He was truly UPSET with Jesus, because just prior to Judas’ betrayal, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume and poured it over the head of Jesus.   Well, that didn’t sit well with the disciples. They became indignant when they saw what she had done. “What a waste!”  They said.  “It could have been sold for a HIGH PRICE and the money given to the poor.”  Now, I’m sure that JUDAS was the INSTIGATOR in this matter. And he kept a TIGHT REIGN on the purse strings. He seemed to always grumble when they took from the funds to help with the Ministry of the Lord.   Jesus rebuked them with: “Why criticize this woman for doing such a good thing to me.” You will always have the poor among you, but you will NOT ALWAYS have Me.”  

Then Judas paid a visit to the leading priests and asked, “How much will you pay me to betray Jesus to you?” And with that, they PAID him THIRTY PIECES of SILVER.  And from that time on, Judas began looking for an opportunity to BETRAY JESUS!!  And he FOUND IT.  This took place on WEDNESDAY of what is known as: “HOLY WEEK.”  But that is NOT the END of the STORY, the Word of God, tells us that:  The LORD’S Plans STAND FIRM forever; His INTENTIONS can NEVER be SHAKEN.  (Ps. 33:11). This word “BETRAYAL” means to be DISLOYAL or UNFAITHFUL we are sometimes, quick to judge Judas for his actions against our Lord.  And he was GUILTY of his UNFAITHFULNESS, that is why he could BETRAY JESUS and so he did.  But God KNEW ahead of time, and it was part of HIS PLAN to SAVE MANKIND.  However, I, wonder how many times we BETRAY our LORD with our UNFAITHFULNESS.  Are we DISLOYAL in our RELATIONSHIP with Him?   If you are a TRUE BELIEVER, the HOLY SPIRIT will CONVICT you of your UNFAITHFULNESS, and you SHOULD CONFESS your sin and SEEK to be MORE FAITHFUL to our LORD JESUS.  However, if you are NOT a TRUE BELIEVER, then you will find it EASY to BETRAY our LORD, by your REJECTION of His LOVE and SALVATION.  In order to NOT END up like JUDAS, who more than LIKELY is suffering in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE.  But God in His LOVING MERCY, has a PLAN for you to ESCAPE HELL, and gain HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  

This is what you MUST DO, you MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who GAVE His Life to Save your SOUL.  You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART that JESUS DIED for YOU and is NOW ALIVE in HEAVEN making intercession for you before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to HIM and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Your MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and DON’T POSSESS an UNFAITHFUL HEART.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

When Christ died, He died once to break the power of sin.  But now that He lives, He lives for the Glory of God.    Romans 6:10

 

As we approach RESURRECTION DAY known as EASTER, for some, we are focused on what the Word of God tells us about the IMPORTANCE of RESURRECTION DAY.  And what it means for ALL mankind.  For those who are TRUE BELIEVERS it is truly a manifestation of God’s AMAZING GRACE.  GRACE is RECEIVING what we DON’T DESERVE.  And we, in our SINFUL NATURE, definitely do NOT DESERVE God’s GRACE, which is:  Spending ALL of ETERNITY in Heaven, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and ESCAPING an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there.  

 

The Bible tells us that JESUS CHRIST, gave HIS life to SAVE our WRETCHED SOULS, from that ETERNITY in HELL.  When JESUS died, He DIED ONCE for ALL, which BREAKS the POWER that SIN has OVER us, and it REMOVES any POWER that SIN has over us.  Our problem is where our eyes are FOCUSED, we sometimes take our EYES off of the CROSS, and start drifting BACK, when we NEED to be FOCUSED on the CROSS. And STAY AWAY FROM our OLD SINFUL LIFESTYLE.  

 

Jesus was RESURRECTED (raised) from DEATH and the GRAVE, which is PROOF that He has POWER OVER SIN and DEATH (spiritual), and they NO LONGER RULE.    When He DIED, He DIED ONCE to break the POWER of SIN.  And NOW that He LIVES, He LIVES for the GLORY of GOD.  So, you also SHOULD consider yourself to be DEAD to the POWER of SIN and ALIVE to God through CHRIST JESUS, God’s ONE and ONLY SON.

 

And HOW do you do that?  First, you MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, Jesus Christ, who GAVE His LIFE to SAVE your SOUL from the POWER of SIN that RULES OVER YOU.  You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE. And TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION because when we DIED with Christ, we were SET FREE from the POWER of SIN. And we have an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

“Sovereign Lord, now let Your servant die in peace, as You have promised.  I have seen Your Salvation, which You have prepared for ALL people.  He is a Light to reveal God to the nations, and He is the Glory of Your people Israel!”   Luke 3:29-32

 

 

I suppose some of you may be wondering why I am doing this Scripture at this time.  When you may think this to be strictly a part of the Christmas Story.  Let us face the FACT that Jesus was BORN for ONE REASON, and that was to PAY a DEBT mankind could NOT pay.  He did this to provide SALVATION to a LOST and DYING world and to fulfill the prophecies that predicted His MISSION.  

Simeon, a RIGHTEOUS man, was given a PROMISE, from the Holy Spirit of God.  That PROMISE was that Simeon would NOT die until he saw the LORD GOD’S MESSIAH.  So, when Mary and Joseph came to present the Baby Jesus to the Lord as the law required, Simeon was there. He took the Child in his arms and praised God, saying,” Sovereign Lord, now let Your Servant die in peace, as You have promised.  I have seen Your Salvation, which You have prepared for ALL people.  He is a LIGHT to reveal God to the nations, and He is the Glory of Your people Israel!”

However, that was NOT the end of Simeon’s BLESSING.  He then turned to the parents and BLESSED them, and he said to Mary, the Mother of Jesus,” This Child is destined to cause many in Israel to fall and many others to rise.  He has been SENT as a sign from God, but MANY will OPPOSE Him.  As a result, the deepest thoughts of MANY hearts will be REVEALED.  And a sword will PIERCE your very soul.”    (Vv 34,35)

There was MORE than a BLESSING for Mary, she would MISUNDERSTAND, exactly what her Son’s MISSION truly entailed. And she would suffer the GRIEF and SORROW of the CRUCIFIXION, but she would have JOY for the RESURRECTION part of His MISSION to SAVE the WORLD from their SINS, and from the DESTINY of SPENDING an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.  

 

So, you see that SIMEON’S BLESSING has a CONNECTION with GOD’S PLAN to bring LIGHT that would REVEAL GOD and PROVIDE a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God. JESUS CHRIST, the ONLY MESSIAH that can bring SALVATION to this LOST and DYING world.  Have you experienced the LIGHT?  In the BLESSING of SIMEON, he said that the MESSIAH would cause some to FALL because they OPPOSED HIM and His MISSION.  But He would cause some to RISE because of their BELIEF that He TRULY IS the MESSIAH.  If you have been OPPOSING Him and have NOT given YOUR HEART and LIFE to God, then you are FALLING into an ETERNITY in HELL.  God sent His Son JESUS to SAVE the SOULS of ALL who would BELIEVE in Him and have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with FATHER GOD.  In order to do this, YOU MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who GAVE HIS LIFE to SAVE your WRETCHED SOUL from HELL.  You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for YOU, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to HIM and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS. Give to the LORD the glory He deserves! Bring your offering and come into His courts.  Worship the LORD in all His Holy splendor.  Let all the earth tremble before Him.   Psalm 96:8,9

 

Our relationship with the Lord God Almighty, is MORE than RELIGION, it is a LOVING FAMILY RELATIONSHIP.  One that should COMPEL EVERY TRUE BELIEVER to SING to the LORD; to PRAISE His NAME.  And EACH day PROCLAIM the GOOD NEWS; He SAVES.  The Psalmist is calling ALL Believers to WORSHIP the LORD in ALL His HOLY SPLENDOR. And that the WHOLE earth should TREMBLE before Him.  And to tell ALL the NATIONS: “The LORD Reigns!”

One day it will be UNIVERSALLY ACKNOWLEDGED at the time when the MESSIAH, the Lord Jesus Christ, discloses His GLORY in His WORLD-WIDE REIGN.  And at that time ALL CREATION will REJOICE and SHOUT for JOY, because He is COMING! He is COMING to JUDGE the WORLD with JUSTICE, and the NATIONS with His TRUTH.

And may ALL TRUE BELIEVERS, live EXPECTANTLY of the SOON COMING of our KING.  “That at the NAME of Jesus EVERY knee should BOW in Heaven and on earth and under the earth, and EVERY tongue DECLARE that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the GLORY of GOD the FATHER. (Phil. 2:10-11) 

May our CONDUCT be MOTIVATED to SERVE Him with JOY and COMPASSION.  May we LIVE with great expectation of His INTERVENTION in EVERY part of the believer’s life.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, through the SHED BLOOD of His ONLY SON, the Lord Jesus Christ, who GAVE His life to SAVE your SOUL from an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you’re there. Then this will be your DESTINY. 

However, the ALMIGHTY God, wants the WHOLE WORLD to KNOW that they don’t have to face an ETERNITY in HELL, if they will: ADMIT that they are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  And BELIEVE with ALL their HEART that JESUS DIED for them, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them before God.  And they MUST CONFESS their SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then they MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM their SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And they MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and WORSHIP the LORD and PROCLAIM that: “The LORD Reigns!” And that He is COMING AGAIN! So, do this NOW while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping-believing that he would become the father of many nations.  For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!”  Romans 4:18

 

Now, let us take a look at this PROMISE that God made to Abraham.  If we go back up to verse 13, it tells us that: “Clearly, God’s Promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based NOT on his OBEDIENCE to God’s Law, but on a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God that comes by FAITH.”  

Let’s look at this PROMISE, it started with God promising Abraham and his wife Sarah a SON, which would come from them both, and that Sarah would be the one to give BIRTH to this baby.  The MIRACULOUS thing about this PROMISE is Abraham was about 100 yrs. Old, and Sarah was 90 years old.  They MUST HAVE had DOUBTS about this, and they did.  But the fact is that God kept His PROMISE and Sarah, eventually gave birth to a SON, just as God had PROMISED.  

And Abraham NEVER WAVERED in BELIEVING GOD’S PROMISE.  In fact, Abraham’s FAITH grew STRONGER, and in this he brought GLORY to GOD.  He was TOTALLY CONVINCED that GOD is ABLE to do WHATEVER HE PROMISES.  And because of Abraham’s FAITH, God counted him as RIGHTEOUS. And this PROMISE was a MAJOR ELEMENT in the PROMISE that GOD made to Abraham that he would become the FATHER of ALL who BELIEVE.  

Those who have given their HEART and LIFE to GOD and have FAITH and HOPE that GOD IS ABLE to do WHATEVER HE WANTS TO DO.  And that He will KEEP His PROMISES to those who TRULY BELIEVE and have the HOPE and FAITH that they will ONE DAY receive the FULFILLMENT of the PROMISE of an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  And they will NOT EXPERIENCE an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there. That is set aside for ALL UNBELIEVERS.  

Have YOU given your HEART and LIFE to God, through His ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST?  If NOT, you will EXPERIENCE an ETERNITY in HELL, and MISS the CELEBRATION of the HOMECOMING of ALL GOD’S CHILDREN, the BLESSED HOPE of the REDEEMED.  You have the OPPORTUNITY NOW to CHANGE your DESTINY by:  ADMITTING that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who GAVE His LIFE to SAVE your SOUL from that ETERNITY in HELL. You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God. You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and DON’T LOSE HOPE!!!  Do this NOW, while you STILL can!!  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

He who says he abides in Christ ought himself also to walk just as Christ walked.  1 John 2:6

 

In studying this verse of the Bible, I read an analogy of some Christians and tea bags.  This analogy was in Dr. Tony Evans’ Commentary of the Bible, I thought this was a very good illustration of the meaning of the word “remains” (or abides).  These words mean to “hang out with” and you can’t hang out with Christ and not have Him rub off on you.

 

Here is the analogy of the TEABAG and some Christians: “When it comes to making tea, some people dip their teabags in and out of the hot water.  Many Christians approach their relationship with Jesus like this—-dipping in and out of church on Sunday mornings, with little change resulting.  Other tea drinkers place their teabags in the water and let them remain.  In time, the tea seeps into the water and transforms it.  For Christ to influence and transform your life, you must remain in Him.”  And how TRUE that is!

 

So, when we SIN are INTIMATE FELLOWSHIP with Christ is next to nothing, because Christ Jesus is SINLESS and has ALWAYS BEEN SINLESS.  So, our RELATIONSHIP with Him SUFFERS, until we CONFESS OUR SINS and WILLINGLY TURN AWAY FROM THEM. And then our ABIDING in Him takes on a whole different way of living.  When you put your FAITH in Christ, you were given a NEW SPIRITUAL LIFE, which is PURE and SINLESS.  Then why do we still SIN?  We still SIN because of the FLESH, which is CONTAMINATED by SIN.  The Apostle Paul, had problems with this, READ Romans 7:13-25.

 

Our HOPE is this:  When Jesus Christ returns, He will ABOLISH the FLESH, or our SINFUL NATURE.  And we will then be COMPLETELY without sin.  Until then, we MUST ALWAYS, REPENT of our sins, submit to the Word of God, and WALK (remain) in the SPIRIT so that our NEW DIVINE NATURE may become MATURE.

 

If you are a TRUE BELIEVER, which tea making process do you fall into?  If you are truly abiding in CHRIST JESUS, then you would be with the Steeping group, BUT if you are a PART-TIME CHRISTIAN, then you are NOT ABIDING CONTINUALLY with Christ and it’s very likely that He is NOT RUBBING OFF ON YOU!  And if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, you are NOT a teabag at all.  And you are SINNING and doing the devil’s deeds. The devil will INFLUENCE (tempt) you to carry out his EVIL DEEDS, and this will get you an ETERNAL DESTINY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  However, God has a PLAN to FREE you from your SLAVERY to SIN.  This is what you MUST DO:  You MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who DIED to SAVE your SOUL.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for YOU, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and WALK DAILY with JESUS.  Do this NOW, while you STILL CAN.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

“He is ready to separate the chaff from the wheat with His winnowing fork. Then He will clean up the threshing area, gathering the wheat into His barn but burning the chaff with never-ending fire.”  Matthew 3:12

 

 

John the Baptist was quite the character of sorts.  He went into the Judean Wilderness to preach his message: “Repent of your SINS and TURN to GOD, for the Kingdom of Heaven is NEAR.” And the PEOPLE came from JERUSALEM, ALL of JUDEA and all over the JORDAN VALLEY to hear what this STRANGE MAN was saying.  When John PREACHED, they LISTENED and those who CONFESSED their SINS were BAPTIZED by John. 

 

Then when John saw a large group of Pharisees and Sadducees coming to watch him BAPTIZE, he called them a BROOD OF SNAKES, and warned them saying: “Even now the AX of God’s JUDGMENT is poised, ready to SEVER the roots of the trees.  Yes, EVERY TREE that does NOT produce good fruit will be chopped down and THROWN into the FIRE. Then he told them that there was coming, ONE who would BAPTIZE THEM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT and FIRE.  

 

Then John gave them an illustration using what takes place at the THRESHING FLOOR. He commenced telling them of the use of the WINNOWING FORK, a VERY IMPORTANT instrument in the process of SEPARATION of the WHEAT and the CHAFF.  The WINNOWING FORK tosses the grain of wheat into the air and the WHEAT falls to the GROUND and the CHAFF or the USELESS part of the WHEAT, is thrown into the FIRE and the GRAIN of WHEAT is gathered and taken to the barn.   

 

John was telling them that the MESSIAH, when He COMES will PREPARE the REMNANT (wheat), for the KINGDOM by EMPOWERING and CLEANSING the PEOPLE.  However, those who REJECT the MESSIAH (chaff) will be JUDGED and THROWN into ETERNAL UNQUENCHABLE FIRE.  In Malachi 4:1&2 tells us: “The LORD of HEAVEN’S ARMIES says, “The Day of Judgment is coming, burning like a furnace.  On that Day the ARROGANT, and the WICKED will be BURNED UP like straw.  They will be CONSUMED—ROOTS, BRANCHES and ALL. But for you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings.  And you will go FREE, leaping with JOY like calves let out to pasture.”

 

Which will it be for YOU, the CHAFF or the WHEAT?  You can only be the WHEAT if you have given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, through His ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And this is what you MUST DO:  You MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and be TOTALLY SEPARATED from the CHAFF.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!   Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

 

“What Should I Do?”

Then he told them a story: “A rich man had a fertile farm that produced fine crops.  He said to himself, “what should I do? I don’t have room for all my crops.”   Luke 12:16-17

 

Being WEALTHY is NOT a SIN, but when that WEALTH becomes your God, then it becomes a SIN.  Having MONEY does NOT always solve problems, but it can create NEW problems.  As it was for this RICH man.  NOTICE that he seems concerned more with HIMSELF and not concerned about anyone else.  

 

I think that 1 Timothy 6:18-19:  Tells us the ANSWER to the question; “What Should I Do?” This is what he SHOULD HAVE DONE:  He should have used his money to DO GOOD.  He SHOULD be RICH in GOOD WORKS and GENEROUS TO THOSE in NEED, ALWAYS BEING READY to SHARE with OTHERS.  And by doing this he would have been STORING UP his TREASURE as a GOOD FOUNDATION for the FUTURE so he might experience TRUE LIFE.  

 

But this RICH MAN didn’t do that, and we see in Luke 12:20, God said to him: “You fool! You will die this very night. Then WHO will get everything you worked for?”  Verse 21, Jesus told the crowd: “Yes, a person is a fool to STORE UP EARTHLY WEALTH but NOT have a RICH RELATIONSHIP with God.”  It doesn’t matter how MUCH WEALTH you have HERE on EARTH, but it MATTERS very much if YOU don’t have a RICH RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD. 

 

Do YOU have a RICH RELATIONSHIP with God?  Or do you HAVE any RELATIONSHIP with GOD?  You can have that RICH RELATIONSHIP with GOD if you will lay up your TREASURE in HEAVEN, for a GOOD FOUNDATION so you MIGHT have TRUE LIFE or ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, and be able to ESCAPE HELL, with all its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there.  

 

The essence of this parable is to NOT BE GREEDY, but SHARE as much as you are able, with those who are in NEED.  And do it with a LOVING, COMPASSIONATE HEART.  In order to have a RIGHT, RICH RELATIONSHIP with GOD and to STORE UP TREASURES in Heaven, You MUST become a CHILD of GOD.  And you do that by:  ADMITTING that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, GOD’S ONLY SON, who GAVE His LIFE to SAVE your SOUL.  Then you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and KNOW what YOU SHOULD DO, which is TRUST IN GOD for ALL of your NEEDS.  Do this NOW, while you STILL CAN!!!  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be Left Behind!!!

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them.  And He gave this wonderful message of reconciliation.  Therefore, we are Ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.    2 Corinthians 5:19-20

 

Have you EVER thought of yourself being an AMBASSADOR?  Usually, when we think of an ambassador, we think of someone from one nation going to another nation, on behalf of their own nation.  In other words, they are an AUTHORIZED MESSENGER or REPRESENTATIVE sent by a nation to a foreign nation, and they are AUTHORIZED to SPEAK for the NATION that sent them.

 

So, it is with US who are TRUE BELIEVERS of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  We have been AUTHORIZED to SPEAK on behalf of our GOD and KING.  What should we SPEAK ABOUT?  You may ask; We have a MOST GLORIOUS MESSAGE to PROCLAIM to this LOST and DYING World.  That message is: “Jesus Christ is RECONCILING this WRETCHED, SIN-DRENCHED world to HIMSELF.” And He is NO LONGER COUNTING PEOPLE’S sins AGAINST them. This MESSAGE should make everyone JUMP and SHOUT.  Because we NOW have a WAY to POSSESS an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  And to be ABLE to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  

 

So, now we have a MESSAGE and MESSENGERS, who are AUTHORIZED by the ALMIGHTY GOD, to DELIVER that MESSAGE unto ALL the WORLD.  And if you have given your HEART and LIFE to God through His Son, JESUS CHRIST, you could become an AMBASSADOR for CHRIST, by delivering His Message to your part of this world.  And in so doing you could make a BIG DIFFERENCE in the ETERNAL DESTINY of some who are UNBELIEVERS.  

 

If you had a CURE for CANCER or HEART DISEASE, or any illness that is LIFE THREATENING, wouldn’t you want to SHARE it with others, so they MIGHT LIVE?  By NOT SHARING this GLORIOUS NEWS of RECONCILIATION, someone might have a DOOMED DESTINY of SPENDING their ETERNAL DESTINY in HELL.  So, WE MUST be TELLING the GOOD NEWS of being RECONCILED with ALMIGHTY GOD, through the SHED BLOOD of HIS ONLY SON, who GAVE HIS LIFE to SAVE our SOULS.  PRAY and GO TELL SOMEBODY!!

 

If you have NOT GIVEN your HEART and LIFE to God, through His Son, Jesus, then you will be one who will SPEND their ETERNAL DESTINY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS.  However, you have the OPPORTUNITY NOW, to CHANGE that DESTINY:  You do that by:  FIRST, ADMITTING that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  Then you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFE-STYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and become an AMBASSADOR for CHRIST, who is AUTHORIZED to PROCLAIM the GLORIOUS NEWS that since JESUS has RECONCILED US with the ALMIGHTY GOD, our SINS are FORGIVEN and NOT COUNTED AGAINST US.  And there is NO OTHER MORE GLORIOUS NEWS to PROCLAIM.  So, do this NOW, while YOU still CAN. He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!

We know how much God Loves us, and we have put our trust in His Love.  God is Love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.  And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect.  So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face Him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.   1 John 4:16-17

 

Those of us who are TRUE BELIEVERS in Christ KNOW how much God LOVES US.  We know this, because in the Gospel of John, the Apostle tells us that God so LOVED the WORLD that He GAVE His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, so that EVERYONE who BELIEVES in Him will NOT PERISH but have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  

 

The Apostle tells us that GOD is LOVE, and we can put our TRUST in His LOVE.  All who LIVE in LOVE, can LIVE in God. And we can have a SECURE RELATIONSHIP with Him, as long as we REMAIN in His LOVE.  The really GOOD thing about this, is when we LIVE in GOD, our LOVE GROWS MORE PERFECT.  This gives us CONFIDENCE and we will NOT be AFRAID of the Day of JUDGMENT, because PERFECT LOVE has NO FEAR.  ALL TRUE BELIEVERS will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ, where OUR WORKS will be JUDGED, not our SALVATION.  In spite of our SINS and FAILURES, we can STAND with CONFIDENCE because we will have ministered in LOVE to members of the Family of God.  Most IMPORTANT of ALL, continue to show DEEP LOVE for each other, for LOVE COVERS a MULTITUDE of SINS.  (1^st Peter 4:8}.   

 

This type of LOVE has NO FEAR, because PERFECT LOVE EXPELS ALL FEAR.  And if we are AFRAID, it’s because FEAR involves PUNISHMENT, and the one who FEARS is NOT PERFECTED in LOVE.  So, we can have this PERFECT LOVE if we have a SECURE RELATIONSHIP with our Heavenly Father, and we can have a SECURE RELATIONSHIP with God, when we PUT OUR TRUST in HIS LOVE, and when we have a DEEP LOVE for each other.  REMEMBER:  GOD is LOVE!

 

Do you have a LOVE for others?  Do you have a SECURE RELATIONSHIP with God?  Or are you FEARFUL of the Day of JUDGMENT?  If you have NOT GIVEN your HEART and LIFE to GOD, through His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, you do NOT have a RELATIONSHIP with God, and You cannot LOVE OTHERS like you should.  And the TRAGIC PART of this is; you do not have an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, but you are destined for an ETERNAL LIFE in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there, unless, you will ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of a SAVIOR, the Lord Jesus Christ, who GAVE His Life to SAVE your SOUL.  You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and PUT YOUR TRUST in HIS LOVE.
