“Don’t Worry!”

 

“Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?”   Matthew 6:27

 

As we face a NEW YEAR, we face the UNKNOWN.  We wonder, about what the DAYS, WEEKS, and MONTHS will have in store for us.  And some of us WORRY about what lies ahead.  Most of the WORRIES are connected to MONEY.  Will we have a JOB or will we LOSE our JOBS and income (MONEY). Will we be able to pay (MONEY) our bills?  Or pay for our family’s housing, food, clothing, and gas for the car.  And the list goes on.  Some may WORRY about our nation’s problems, INFLATION, BORDER ISSUES, CHINA, COVID, CRIME, DRUGS, and even DEATH.  But the LORD JESUS CHRIST tells us that; “we should NOT WORRY about EVERYDAY LIFE.”  After all:  “Can all your WORRIES add a single moment to your life?”  

 

And “Why do we have so LITTLE FAITH?”  We are NOT to WORRY about what we will eat, drink, or wear.  These are the worrisome thoughts of UNBELIEVERS.  But the TRUE BELIEVER, should have a STRONG, ABIDING FAITH in the LORD GOD, ALMIGHTY, who ALREADY KNOWS what the NEW YEAR holds for EACH of His Children, and He will PROVIDE all our NEEDS. 

 

Instead of WORRYING,  the TRUE BELIEVERS should:  “SEEK the Kingdom of God, above ALL else, and LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY, and He will SUPPLY All your NEEDS.”(V33)  So, DON’T WORRY about tomorrow, for tomorrow brings its OWN worries.  Today’s trouble is ENOUGH for today.  In other words don’t bring the WORRIES of YESTERDAY into TODAY and keep adding to EACH DAY’S WOES.  We, who are TRUE BELIEVERS, need to have a STRONG FAITH in the ALMIGHTY GOD for EVERY ASPECT of our lives.  We NEED NOT to WORRY, but to make our NEEDS KNOWN to God, who ALREADY KNOWS our NEEDS, but the act of going to Him in PRAYER, and ASKING Him for those NEEDS, shows us how STRONG our FAITH really is.  And it exemplifies our TRUST and BELIEF in Him, and His abilities to PROVIDE ALL our NEEDS.  

 

SO, as a TRUE BELIEVER, let us have that STRONG FAITH and TRUST GOD with ALL our NEEDS.  And to have a BETTER RELATIONSHIP with Him and His SON, the LORD JESUS in 2023.  If you are NOT REALLY a TRUE BELIEVER, one who has NOT given their HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you probably WORRY and FRET over things, in which, you have NO CONTROL.  And you will NOT have the benefits of GOD’s MERCY and GRACE, until you COME to Him, through His SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who gave His Life to SAVE your SOUL from spending your ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  In order to benefit from GOD’S MERCY and GRACE, you MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  And you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and DON’T WORRY about what lies ahead of you, because God KNOWS ALL your NEEDS, and HE WILL PROVIDE.  So, WALK by FAITH!!  TRUST and BELIEVE!! And spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS!!  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND!!    Happy BLESSED New Year!!!

And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works.  For in that case, God’s Grace would not be what it really is—-free and undeserved.   Romans 11:6

 

Have you ever received something good and immediately felt like you didn’t DESERVE what you received?  And after all you didn’t DO anything to deserve the merit that you received.  That’s EXACTLY the way a TRUE CHILD of the LIVING GOD should feel about God’s AMAZING GRACE:  An ACT OF KINDNESS from God through His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  The One who SUFFERED, BLED and DIED in order for MANKIND to have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD, their HEAVENLY FATHER.

 

Even though this verse and the previous verses, related to the remnant of Jews, who BELIEVED in Jesus Christ as their MESSIAH and LORD, it is STILL APPLICABLE, to ALL who will BELIEVE and ACCEPT JESUS as their SAVIOR and LORD, regardless if they are Jews or Gentiles, (non-jews).  And it is IMPORTANT to note that:  This AMAZING GRACE is NOT obtained by doing GOOD WORKS, or what POSITION in LIFE you might have.  It is given to us by the KINDNESS of the LOVING GOD.  And a GIFT that is FREE, cannot be BOUGHT.  And it cannot be EARNED, if it is UNMERITED.   

 

It is GOD’S UNMERITED, FREE GIFT, and the ONLY WAY to RECEIVE this GIFT is when you are pursued by the HOLY SPIRIT of God.  This is when you feel that PULL on your HEART STRINGS, and you KNOW that it is the HOLY SPIRIT of the LIVING GOD, convicting you of your SINFUL LIFESTYLE.  And when He tells you NOW is the TIME to GIVE your HEART and LIFE to GOD through His Son the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  

 

This is what you MJST DO to receive God’s FREE and UNDESERVED GRACE.  You MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus SUFFERED, BLED and DIED for YOUR SINS, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And be able to ESCAPE HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  And RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s AMAZING, FREE, UNMERITED, GRACE. And BE READY when JESUS comes to take ALL of GOD’S CHILDREN HOME to HEAVEN.  So, do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND!!!   PRAYING EVERYONE, has a BLESSED and SAFE NEW YEAR!!!

They hurried to the village and found Mary and Joseph.  And there was the Baby, lying in the manger.  After seeing Him, the shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this Child.  All who heard the shepherds’ story were astonished, but Mary kept all these things in her heart and thought about them often.  Luke 2:16-19

 

The story about the birth of King Jesus, was in itself, quite MIRACULOUS, and very UNIQUE, so much so, that there has NEVER BEEN, in the HISTORY of MANKIND, another SUCH MIRACULOUS BIRTH.  As for as we know, NO OTHER young woman has been visited by an ANGEL, who informed them of such a MIRACULOUS BIRTH.  And that’s because ONLY ONE person would be, and has been born in SUCH a manner, which is the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  

 

I believe that it was a CHILLY, and VERY DARK night, when the Angel of the LORD GOD appeared in the star-studded, clear, evening sky.  And I believe it was LATE in the night.  And ALL, except maybe three or four of the shepherds, who were KEEPING WATCH over their flocks, were bedded down for a MUCH NEEDED rest.  And SUDDENLY a bright LIGHT, surrounded the three or four shepherds, who were WATCHING OVER the sheep.  And in front of them stood a BEING, clothed in a VERY BRIGH, WHITE garment, SO INTENSELY BRIGHT, that it hurt the eyes of the shepherds, who were trying to shield the LIGHT from their eyes.  Then the shepherds were TERRIFIED, but the Angel said:  “Don’t be afraid! I bring you GOOD NEWS that will bring GREAT JOY to ALL PEOPLE.  The SAVIOR—YES, the MESSIAH, the LORD—has been born TODAY, in Bethlehem, the City of DAVID!  And you will find Him by this sign:  You will find a BABY wrapped SNUGLY in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.”  Then SUDDENLY, the Angel was joined by a VAST HOST of others—the Armies of Heaven—- PRAISING GOD and saying:  “GLORY to GOD in the HIGHEST HEAVEN, and PEACE ON EARTH to those with whom God is PLEASED.”

 

When the ANGELS had returned to HEAVEN, the shepherds were SO EXCITED, and IMMEDIATELY they headed to BETHLEHEM, to find this SPECIAL BABY, who was the LONG AWAITED MESSIAH.   After they found the BABE, just like the Angel had told them, they KNEW that this was NO ORDINARY BABY.  And they BELIEVED what the ANGEL had told them.   So, they TOLD EVERYONE they met, what had HAPPENED to them and about this SPECIAL BABY.  And ALL who HEARD the SHEPHERDS’ STORY were ASTONISHED, but MARY , kept ALL these things in her HEART and THOUGHT about them OFTEN.   

 

And the shepherds went back to their flocks and to their work, but MUCH DIFFERENT than before the ANGEL’S MESSAGE to them, and they GLORIFIED and PRAISED GOD for ALL they had HEARD and SEEN, because, it was JUST AS the ANGEL had TOLD them.  Do you have a STORY that you can TELL, to OTHERS, to those who have NEVER TRULY ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY SON, who came as a BABY, and He GREW into a MAN with a MISSION, to SAVE MANKIND from their SINS?  

 

It is OUR MISSION to do like those SHEPHERDS.  To GO and TELL others about JESUS, the ONLY HOPE for MANKIND to have an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  The STORY is:  YOU MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then, you MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and have your OWN STORY to TELL, of what has HAPPENED to YOU, because of what JESUS has done for YOU.  So, do this NOW, while you STILL CAN.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND.

 

 

“One Man”

 “One Man”

 

There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—-the Man Christ Jesus.  He gave His Life to purchase freedom for everyone.   1 Timothy 2:5-6

 

The TRUTH is; there is ONLY ONE GOD, and ONE MEDIATOR who is between God and humanity.  Only ONE who has the capability of RECONCILING God and mankind, the ONE MAN, God’s Only Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  To RECONCILE means to “BRING TOGETHER.”  Remember, it was God’s Plan of SALVATION that was/is to bring Himself and ALL of mankind TOGETHER in HARMONY.  

 

In verse six, we see that it is God’s desire that EVERYONE would be SAVED and would UNDERSTAND the TRUTH, which is; there is ONLY ONE MEDIATOR who can bring the RECONCILIATION between GOD and HUMANITY.  And that MEDIATOR is the ONE MAN, CHRIST JESUS, the SPOTLESS LAMB of the LIVING GOD.  The One who became the SACRIFICIAL LAMB, meaning He GAVE His life, and SHED HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD to make mankind RIGHT with GOD.  

 

And the ONLY WAY for Him to do that, was to come as a HUMAN BEING, but with a DIVINE NATURE because He was GOD in the FLESH, and He was SINLESS.   And the ONLY WAY He could REDEEM MANKIND, was to have a HUMAN NATURE that was SINLESS.  He could do that by serving as the SUBSTITUTIONARY SACRIFICE for SINFUL MANKIND.  

 

So, on December 25^th , when we gather together, to CELEBRATE CHRISTmas, REMEMBER, the REAL REASON for the SEASON of CELEBRATING.  Jesus GAVE HIMSELF as the ONLY RANSOM for EVERYONE.  He PAID the PRICE for ALL who will ACCEPT Him as their SAVIOR and LORD, and will BELIEVE that He DIED to RECONCILE them to the ALMIGHTY GOD.  And have CONFESSED their sins to Him, and has asked Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And will COMMIT THEMSELVES to TURN AWAY FROM their SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And to make it their GOAL to LIVE for JESUS, by STUDYING the Word of God, and KNOWING and UNDERSTANDING His TRUTH.  Then CELEBRATE your ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, and being SET FREE FROM an ETERNAL LIFE in HELL.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND!!!  Praying that EVERYONE will have a BLESSED CHRISTMAS and a SAFE and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!!

For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors.  And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value.  It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.  1 Peter 1:18-19

 

Many years ago, at this time of year, people CELEBRATED the BIRTH of JESUS, more than Santa Claus.  It was more of a christian holiday.  But over the years Christmas as become so COMMERCIALIZED and has more of a WORLDLY emphasis than that of the CELEBRATION of the LORD JESUS, and the REAL REASON for the SEASON.

 

You see, God had a plan to SAVE the Crown of His Creation, MANKIND from their SINS, and to give them an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE once they are there.  Father God, wants a RELATIONSHIP with MANKIND, but because He is HOLY and mankind is SINFUL, there had to be a RANSOM (price) paid to REDEEM MANKIND.  And MANKIND could NOT REDEEM themselves nor ANYONE ELSE, because of their SINFUL nature.  There had to be a SNLESS, SPOTLESS SACRIFICE.  And the ONLY ONE whose BLOOD could CLEANSE MANKIND from their SINS, was that PRECIOUS BLOOD of the LORD JESUS.  

 

So, Jesus Christ, the Eternal Word of God, became FLESH, or a HUMAN, through His Birth, which was a VIRGIN BIRTH.  Mary who was a virgin, was to become the Mother of this SPECIAL BABY.  God chose Mary because of her PURITY and Her spiritual life.  She was devout in her FAITH and in her worship of the ALMIGHTY GOD.  And she found favor in His Sight.  The Angel told Mary that the HOLY SPIRIT of God would come upon her, and POWER of the Most High would OVERSHADOW her.  And she would conceive and give birth to a Son, and she would name Him JESUS , and He will be GREAT and will be called the Son of the Most High.  This was TRULY a MIRACULOUS BIRTH.  

 

And so, the REASON for the BIRTH of JESUS, is to bring SALVATION to a LOST and DYING world.  So, that THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, we might come to TRUST in GOD. And for those who have PLACED their FAITH and HOPE in GOD, they can be CLEANSED FROM their SINS, by COMING to JESUS for that CLEANSING, and to have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD by being OBEDIENT to His WORD.

 

To be ABLE to receive that CLEANSING of your SINS, and to receive an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, and to ESCAPE an ETERNAL LIFE in HELL, you MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, because you are born with a SINFUL NATURE, and you are in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  You MUST  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE and NOW in HEAVEN, making intercession for you before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, because this is the reason WHY THE BIRTH OF JESUS.  So, let this CHRISTMAS be FILLED with PEACE, JOY and LOVE, because you have RECEIVED the BEST GIFT OF ALL, the SALVATION of your SOUL for ALL of ETERNITY.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.   He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND!!!

“The Messenger, the Message, and the Response”

 “The Messenger, the Message, and the Response”

 

Gabriel appeared to Mary and said, “Don’t be afraid, Mary, the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God!  You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name Him Jesus. He will be very great, and will be called the Son of the Most High.  The LORD God will give Him the throne of His ancestor David.  And He will reign over Israel forever, His Kingdom will never end!”  Luke 1:28-33

 

The MESSENGER: Gabriel, the Heavenly Messenger, who appears four times in the Bible.  He brought messages from God to humans beings.  He appeared twice to Daniel, to interpret the meaning of the vision of the ram and the goat.  And once to Zechariah to announce the birth of John the Baptist, and once to Mary announcing the birth of Jesus.  

 

 The MESSAGE:  So, let’s look at Gabriel’s message to Mary.  First of all he greets her with, “Greetings, favored woman!  The Lord is with you!”  Now, Mary was a YOUNG lady, some say that she was somewhere between fourteen and seventeen.  She was engaged to a carpenter, named Joseph.  She was NOT married yet, and had NEVER been with a man.  And she must have been somewhat confused and bewildered by such a greeting.  Then the angel told her “Don’t be afraid, Mary.” You have found FAVOR or GRACE with God!  You will CONCEIVE and give BIRTH to a SON, and you will name Him JESUS.  He will be VERY GREAT and will be called the Son of the Most High.  The Lord God will give Him the THRONE of His ancestor David.  And He will REIGN OVER ISRAEL FOREVER, HIS KINGDOM will NEVER END!”  Now, Mary’s head must have been spinning.  

 

The RESPONSES:   Mary’s RESPONSE was:  “How can this happen?  I am a virgin.”  The Angel replied:  “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the POWER of the Most High will OVERSHADOW you.  So the Baby to be born will be HOLY, and He will be called the Son of God.”

Mary’s RESPONSE was:  “I am the Lord’s servant.  May everything you have said about me come TRUE.”  This RESPONSE exemplifies the GODLY nature of this YOUNG lady.  God had taken notice of Mary’s SPIRITUAL, PURE nature and chose her to be the MOTHER of His Son, Jesus, the SAVIOR and LORD of ALL mankind.

 

 If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God His MESSAGE to YOU is; for you to become one of His TRUE CHILDREN, and to do that, YOU MUST RESPOND with the attitude of a lost person. Who is in NEED of a TOUCH from the MASTER’S HAND.  You NEED to RESPOND to God’s MESSAGE by: ADMITTING that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, Jesus Christ, who came as a baby and grew into a man who would die for the SALVATION of YOUR soul.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and become a SERVANT, who is WILLING to SERVE the ALMIGHTY God.  And inherit an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS, and ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t be LEFT BEHIND!!!

“God’s Gracious Gift”

 

There is a difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift.  For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many.  But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ.   Romans 6:15

 

As we approach Christmas, many are getting ANXIOUS and WORRIED about the GIFT-GIVING part of this holiday.  They rush around from store to store SEARCHING for just the RIGHT gift. And by the time Christmas arrives, they are absolutely wore out because of ALL the RUSHING around, and having to substitute one thing for another.  Then they WORRY whether the person they are buying for will really LIKE or APPRECIATE what they have purchased for them.  And they have a HARD time ENJOYING the Christmas holiday.  When we let this scenario RUIN our CELEBRATION of the BIRTH of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, we are in the process of CELEBRATING the WRONG REASON for the holiday.  

 

When Adam sinned it brought a SINFUL NATURE into the HEARTS of EVERY PERSON ever born.  And SIN has engulfed mankind, making them its SLAVE.  And because of this SINFUL NATURE, mankind is doomed to spend their ETERNITY in a place called HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once they are there.  But because of GOD’S ABUNDANT MERCY and His AMAZING GRACE, mankind can have an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS, and they can ESCAPE HELL.  Because GOD’S GRACIOUS GIFT is GREATER than mankind’s sins, He offers them this FREE GIFT of FORGIVENESS, if they will BELIEVE and ACCEPT the PROVIDER of this AMAZING GIFT of SALVATION, which is GOD’S ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  The ONE who PAID the PRICE for the SALVATION of MANKIND through His DEATH and RESURRECTION from the GRAVE.  He shed His PRECIOUS BLOOD to REDEEM those who will BELIEVE in HIM and ACCEPT His GIFT of SALVATION.  The GREATEST GIFT of ALL. One that KEEPS ON GIVING.

 

Have you BELIEVED on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and ACCEPTED HIS GIFT of SALVATION?  If NOT you can by:  ADMITTING that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR the LORD JESUS CHRIST.   And you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His GIFT of FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then you MUST ACCEPT GOD’S GRACIOUS GIFT of SALVATION, and this CHRISTMAS, share GOD’S GRACIOUS GIFT of SALVATION through His BELOVED SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST with others.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!   You DON’T want to be LEFT BEHIND nor to have ANY of your LOVED ONES LEFT BEHIND!!!

Because of God’s tender mercy, the Morning Light from heaven is about to visit us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.   Luke 1:78-79

 

This Scripture is from Zechariah’s prophecy, concerning his son, John, who became known as John the Baptist, because he BAPTIZED those who ACCEPTED His message of SALVATION through the FORGIVENESS of their sins.  He was to be the PROPHET of the MOST HIGH, and it was his mission to be the FORE-RUNNER of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, the SAVIOR of the WORLD.  John would go before the Lord and tell the people HOW to find SALVATION, and FORGIVENESS of their SINS.  

 

John would PREPARE the WAY to SALVATION and an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be ABLE to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  This was made POSSIBLE through the TENDER MERCY of the LIVING GOD, for the CROWN of HIS CREATION.  Zechariah said that the MORNING LIGHT, or the DAYSPRING was about to visit us.  The MORNING LIGHT, or DAYSPRING refers to the MESSIAH, which is God’s ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, whose mission was to become the ONLY ACCEPTABLE SACRIFICE for the SALVATION of mankind.  He would give LIGHT to those who sit in DARKNESS and in the SHADOW of DEATH.

 

 

John went before JESUS, and he PREACHED and PREPARED the PEOPLE for the COMING of the MESSIAH, the LIGHT of the WORLD, the DAYSPRING, the MORNING LIGHT from HEAVEN. The HOPE for those who have BELIEVED and ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST as their SAVIOR and LORD. 

 

John was telling the people how they could find the PATH of PEACE.  A PEACE that this WRETCHED, SINFUL world CANNOT give.  A PEACE that comes ONLY from the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  That PEACE is FOUND ONLY in a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD and is ONLY THROUGH a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the MESSIAH, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Do YOU have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with GOD, by having a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with His Son, JESUS CHRIST?  Are you on the PATH of PEACE?  

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, by COMING to the CROSS of JESUS CHRIST, and ADMITTING that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS, who DIED for YOUR SALVATION.  You MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU,  and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of   SALVATION, in order to have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD and His SON, JESUS.  And to POSSESS that PEACE that PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, by being on the RIGHT PATH of PEACE. Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t be LEFT BEHIND!!!

“For many are called, but few are chosen.”   Matthew 22:14

 

In verses one through three, Jesus tells a parable of a Great Wedding Feast, illustrated by the Kingdom of Heaven. And it is the story of a king who prepared a GREAT WEDDING FEAST for his son.  When the banquet was ready, he sent his servants to notify those who were invited. But they ALL REFUSED to come!  (Vv 1-3).  So, the king sent other servants to tell them, that the banquet was prepared, and everything was ready, “COME TO THE BANQUET!”  But those he had invited  ignored the servants and went their OWN way. Some even insulted the servants and killed them. This was a TERRIBLE “slap in the face” to the king.  And the king was FURIOUS!

 

He sent out his army to destroy the murderers and burn their town.  This was his JUDGMENT on them.  He said to his servants “The Wedding Feast is ready and the guests I invited aren’t WORTHY of the HONOR.  Now go out to the street corners and invite EVERYONE you see.”  So the servants brought in EVERYONE they could find, GOOD and BAD alike, and the banquet hall was FILLED with guests.  This invitation illustrates the OFFER of the GOSPEL, FREELY to EVERYONE, regardless of who they were or what they had done.  

 

Now, these people were hastily rounded up, with no time to get PROPERLY ATTIRED for the Wedding Banquet. So the King SUPPLIED the garments himself.   And when he saw a man without the PROPER GARMENT, the king asked him, why he did not have the PROPER WEDDING GARMENT, he had NO REPLY.  This lack of a PROPER WEDDING GARMENT, that was SUPPLIED by the king indicates that the person had PURPOSELY REJECTED the King’s GRACIOUS provision.  This act was a SLAM against the King and His Son.  It was a GREATER INSULT than those who REFUSED the invitation to begin with.  

 

This scenario is like those who are identified with the Kingdom of Heaven, EXTERNALLY, and PROFESS to be a CHRISTIAN, belonging to the church VISIBLY.  Yet they do NOT POSSESS the GARMENT of RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the LORD JESUS CHRIST has PROVIDED.  And thus they are GUILTY of a HORRENDOUS SIN against the HOLY GOD and His ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And they are DESTINED to the OUTER DARKNESS , where there will be WEEPING and GNASHING of teeth.  

 

REMEMBER, “Many are CALLED but FEW are CHOSEN”. They are NOT CHOSEN because of their REJECTION of the ALMIGHTY GOD’S invitation, and His offer of the GARMENT of RIGHTEOUSNESS supplied by His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Is this your story?  Are you portraying to be in possession of the GARMENT of RIGHTEOUSNESS, but you ACTUALLY don’t POSSESS it, you ONLY PROFESS to POSSESS it?  If this is the situation that you are in.  You are in danger of spending YOUR ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  

 

However, God is giving you the OPPORTUNITY NOW to ACCEPT His INVITATION and the PROPER GARMENT, the GARMENT of RIGHTEOUSNESS, which is supplied by JESUS.  For you to be able to ACCEPT His INVITATION, you MUST ANSWER the CALL with a resounding YES and ACCEPT His SON, JESUS as your SAVIOR and LORD.  To do that You MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR.  And you MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s INVITATION, and His GARMENT of RIGHTEOUSNESS, by ANSWERING HIS CALL with a TRULY REPENTANT HEART and a GRATEFUL SPIRIT.  Do this NOW while you STILL can, He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be Left Behind!!!

There are some who think that going to church on Sunday, and maybe on Wednesday, is all they need to be OK with the ALMIGHTY GOD.  And they hardly if EVER, READ and STUDY the WORD OF GOD.  KNOWING the WORD of God is very IMPORTANT to your RELATIONSHIP with God, because if you READ and STUDY your BIBLE, which is the WORD of the LIVING GOD, then you will come to KNOW what the WILL of GOD is for YOUR LIFE.

 

King David, KNEW the WILL of GOD for his life and YIELDED himself to do the WILL of the ALMIGHTY GOD.  He WILLINGLY GAVE of HIMSELF to DO the WILL of GOD.  In verse seven, he CAME to GOD, and NOT BEGRUDGINGLY, but WILLINGLY offered himself to do the WILL that GOD had PLANNED for him.  And in ACCORDANCE to GOD’S WORD, he DEDICATED himself to DOING the WILL of GOD.  

 

David sets an EXCELLENT EXAMPLE of HOW to KNOW and DO the WILL of GOD for ALL of those who have TRULY GIVEN their HEARTS and LIVES to GOD.  And to be ABLE to have a TRULY RIGHT and INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP with our HEAVENLY FATHER.  

 

Another EXCELLENT EXAMPLE is found in Hebrews 10:5-7:  That is why, when Christ came into the world, He said to God.  “You did not want sacrifices or sin offerings.  But you have given Me a body to offer.  You were not pleased with burnt offerings or other offerings for sin.  Then I said, ‘Look, I have COME to DO YOUR WILL, O God—-as it is written about Me in the Scriptures.”  The BLOOD of the ANIMAL sacrifice, was NOT SUFFICIENT to TAKE AWAY the SINS of mankind.  ONLY the BLOOD of JESUS, GOD’S ONLY SON, the PERFECT SACRIFICE is ABLE to do that, because it was the PERFECT WILL of GOD for His Son.  And it is the PERFECT WILL of God for MANKIND to ACCEPT JESUS as their SAVIOR and LORD.  And to be OBEDIENT to God’s Will for their life.  And the way to do that is to PRAY and SEEK GOD’S WILL for YOU.  

 

In order to KNOW and DO the WILL of GOD, you MUST FIRST become a TRUE CHILD of GOD.  And you do that by:  ADMITTING that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And by BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And to be ABLE to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY TO ESCAPE once you are there.  And to GAIN an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  To do that you MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and, KNOW and DO the WILL of GOD for YOU!!  So, do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND!!!

I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in Me will no longer remain in the dark.   John 12:46

 

There are two major groups of people on this earth, those who choose to live in the LIGHT of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and those who choose to live in the DARK WORLD.  In this verse, we see that the LIGHT is the LORD JESUS, and it is the symbol of SALVATION, RIGHTEOUSNESS, and ETERNAL LIFE.  Whereas, the DARKNESS is a symbol of SIN, WICKEDNESS, CONDEMNATION, and SPIRITUAL DEATH.  We live in a DARK WORLD, full of WICKEDNESS, DEPRAVITY, LAWLESSNESS, and HATRED, and the RISK of living in the DARKNESS is experiencing a SPIRITUAL DEATH that will bring with it an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE, once you are there.   

 

Jesus tells us that He has COME as a LIGHT to shine in the DARK WORLD, and to DISPEL the DARKNESS, in order for ALL who will put their TRUST in Him to NO LONGER remain in the DARK.  Those who REFUSE to ACCEPT LIVING in the LIGHT, (Jesus), are BLINDED to the TRUTH of God’s Word, and they FEAR that if they TURN FROM their SINFUL LIFESTYLE, to the LORD JESUS CHRIST, for their SALVATION, that they will be SCORNED, and lose their place in society.  They LOVE the PRAISE of man, more than the PRAISE of the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD, who HOLDS their ETERNAL DESTINATION in His HANDS.  

 

Are you living in the DARK, or have you COME OUT of the DARK and into the GLORIOUS LIGHT of the LORD JESUS CHRIST?  If you are STILL in the DARK, you NOW have the opportunity to COME INTO the LIGHT and to have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  This is what you MUST DO:  You MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in need of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS, God’s ONLY SON, who GAVE His LIFE to SAVE your SOUL.  You MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God. You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And you MUST COME OUT of the DARK and into the LIGHT by; WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURNING to GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and COME OUT of the DARK and INTO the LIGHT of GOD’S LOVE.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND!!!

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put of sight!  Yes, what joy for those whose record the LORD has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!   Psalm 32:1-2

 

This Psalm of King David is believed to be connected with Psalm 51.  In Psalm 51, we see in the first two verses of David’s lament that he is pleading for God’s forgiveness, regarding the time when the prophet Nathan had come to him, after his sin with Bathsheba.  David pleaded with God to WASH him CLEAN from his GUILT, and to PURIFY him from his SIN.  David CONFESSED his DISOBEDIENCE, and the fact that he had SINNED against GOD and in GOD ALONE had he done EVIL in God’s Sight.  He pleaded that God would restore his JOY, by REMOVING the STAIN of his GUILT.  And to CREATE in him a CLEAN HEART, and to RENEW a STEADFAST spirit within him.  

 

In Psalm 32 we see that King David, was offering up a POEM of PRAISE, acclaiming the JOY that comes to those whose DISOBEDIENCE is FORGIVEN, and whose SIN is COVERED and OUT OF SIGHT!  And what JOY for those whose SINS and GUILT has been REMOVED from their record, because God has CANCELLED the DEBT, and it doesn’t count against them any more.  This is POSSIBLE because God’s Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST PAID the DEBT with His OWN BLOOD, on an OLD RUGGED CROSS. His PRECIOUS BLOOD not only CLEANSES the RECORD of the DISOBEDIENT but it CLEANSES their HEARTS. And when they TRULY BELIEVE and are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM their SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN to GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, they can LIVE in COMPLETE HONESTY and have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD.  They will be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and to GAIN an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.

 

In order to spend ALL of your ETERNITY in HEAVEN, and ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, you MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST who GAVE His LIFE to SAVE your SOUL.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God. You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and receive the JOY of your SALVATION!  If you are a TRUE BELIEVER, and have NOT been living in OBEDIENCE to GOD, and have lost the JOY of your SALVATION, you MUST COME to JESUS with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and like David PLEAD the BLOOD of JESUS to CLEANSE your HEART and your RECORD of GUILT.  And LIVE a LIFE filled with JOY in KNOWING you have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with your Heavenly Father.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can. He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND!!!

Seek the LORD while you can find Him.  Call on Him now while He is near.  Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of  doing wrong.  Let them turn to the LORD that He may have mercy on them.  Yes, turn to our God, for He will forgive generously.  Isaiah 55:6-7

 

This is an INVITATION to SALVATION for NOW and for what an ETERNITY in HEAVEN holds LATER, for those who will CALL upon the LORD GOD, ALMIGHTY.  Those who will SEEK the LORD, with ALL their HEART, while He is STILL NEAR.  This SEEKING should be done in FAITH, along with a REPENTANT HEART.  It SHOULD be carried out with a WILLINGNESS to TURN AWAY FROM  or FORSAKING their WICKED WAYS, and even the very THOUGHT of DOING WRONG.  They SHOULD be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM their SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and EMBRACE a GODLY way of LIFE.

 

The Prophet Isaiah made it CLEAR that a SINNER MUST COME BELIEVING in God, and CONFESSING their SINS to Him.  They SHOULD have a DESIRE to be FORGIVEN and DELIVERED from their SINS.  They MUST BE AWARE that THEY are HELPLESS and HOPELESS to SAVE THEMSELVES from being RIGHTEOUS before the ALMIGHTY GOD, and to provide an ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  They MUST SEEK His MERCY and GRACE, in order to be DELIVERED from the CURSE of spending an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.  

 

The HOPE for US, NOW is through the SUPREME BLOOD SACRIFICE of God’s ONE and ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who SUFFERED, BLED and DIED, in OUR PLACE, for OUR SINS.  And Who had VICTORY OVER DEATH and the GRAVE when God RESURRECTED Him from the GRAVE, and He has given JESUS the VICTORY in the BATTLE for the SOULS of ALL MANKIND, those who will COME to GOD through the BLOOD of JESUS, to be FORGIVEN of their sins.  This is the ONLY WAY to be able to RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS. 

 

To be able to ACCEPT this INVITATION for SALVATION, you MUST COME to God, ADMITTING that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  And you MUST HAVE a BELIEVING, REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your SINS, and TURNING AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURNING TO GOD, SEEKING His MERCY and GRACE.  And ACCEPT His INVITATION to SALVATION and HEAVEN as your ETERNAL HOME.   Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND!!!

Jesus replied; “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”   John 3:3

 

A man named Nicodemus, who was a religious leader, and a Pharisee, came to see JESUS after dark one evening.  He probably came at DARK, so none of the other Pharisees would see him. They were definitely NOT FANS of JESUS.  Nicodemus, acknowledged Jesus as being sent from God, but as a teacher, and not the MESSIAH.  And he acknowledged that God was with Jesus, because of the miraculous signs that Jesus had done.  

 

However, Jesus, knowing the HEART and MIND of Nicodemus, said to him:  “I tell you the TRUTH, unless you are born again, you CANNOT see the Kingdom of God.”   Jesus answered a question that Nicodemus didn’t even ask.  Now, the phrase; “born again” means to be “born from ABOVE.”  In verse five and six, Jesus explains to Nicodemus what He meant:  “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.  Humans can reproduce ONLY human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.”  Jesus was talking about a SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION.  

 

This NEW BIRTH is carried out by God, and gives ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN to the TRUE BELIEVER.  And if you do NOT possess this NEW BIRTH, or SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION, you CANNOT see the KINGDOM of GOD, which indicates being able to be a part of the MILLENNIAL KINGDOM at the End of the Age.  The SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION or REGENERATION of an individual is NECESSARY BEFORE the END of the AGE in order to ENTER the KINGDOM.

 

If this SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION has NOT taken place, the individual will have to face JUDGEMENT, and CONDEMNATION, which will result in spending ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.  Have YOU had this SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION?  If NOT, this is what YOU MUST DO.  You MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, Jesus Christ, who GAVE His LIFE to SAVE your SOUL.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for YOU, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS. You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and a SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION because this is THE TRUTH!!  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be Left Behind!!!

The Message of the Cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction!  But we who are being saved know it is the very POWER of God.  As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.”  1 Corinthians 1:18-19

 

God in His INFINITE WISDOM has WISELY brought into existence the fact that mankind could NOT know Him by HUMAN WISDOM.  By allowing them to come to Him by their OWN wisdom, would EXALT them, so God planned  to save SINNERS through the PREACHING of the MESSAGE of the CROSS of JESUS CHRIST, who SUFFERED, BLED, DIED and then RESURRECTED from DEATH and the GRAVE to bring SALVATION to mankind by the PREACHING of  the MESSAGE of the CROSS, which to the WORLDLY WISE,  the message was so simple that it was FOOLISH.

 

But to those who are BEING SAVED it is the VERY POWER of GOD.  God in His WISDOM has made the wisdom of this world look FOOLISH.  The MESSAGE is FOOLISH to the JEWS who ask for SIGNS from heaven. And it is FOOLISH to the GENTILES, who seek HUMAN WISDOM.  And when the MESSAGE is PREACHED that CHRIST was CRUCIFIED, the JEWS are OFFENDED and the GENTILES say its ALL NONSENSE.  (V22,23) 

 

But to those who are CALLED by God to SALVATION, both JEWS and GENTILES, Christ is the POWER of GOD and the WISDOM of GOD.  This FOOLISH PLAN of God is WISER than the WISEST of HUMAN plans, and GOD’S WEAKNESS is STRONGER than the GREATEST of HUMAN STRENGTH.  (Vv 24-25) 

 

So, the question that YOU MUST ask yourself is;  Do you BELIEVE that GOD’S PLAN for SALVATION is NONSENSE?  If you think that and have been REJECTING HIM, then YOU are headed for DESTRUCTION, and for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to get to HEAVEN by your OWN HUMAN WISDOM.   GOD may be CALLING you to COME to Him through His PLAN of SALVATION.  In order to RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, you MUST COME by JESUS CHRIST, and you do that by ADMITTING that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who GAVE His LIFE to SAVE your LIFE.  And you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and TRUST in GOD’S WISDOM for your ETERNITY.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t be LEFT BEHIND!!!

“What Kind Of Heavenly Father Is God?”

 

You are forgiving and good O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to You.   Psalm 86:5

 

This Psalm is a PRAYER of David, and we can see, in reading this Psalm that David has CONFIDENCE in the ALMIGHTY GOD.  In verse seven, David says:  “In the day of my trouble I will call to You, for You will answer me.”  In verse eight, David says:  “Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; no deeds can compare with Yours.”  In verse ten, David says:  “For You are GREAT and do marvelous deeds; You alone are God.    In verse thirteen, David says: For GREAT is Your LOVE toward me.”  In verse fifteen, David says:  “But You, O Lord, are a COMPASSIONATE and GRACIOUS God, slow to anger, abounding in LOVE and FAITHFULNESS.”   In verse sixteen, David says:  “Turn to me and have MERCY on me; grant Your STRENGTH to Your servant and SAVE the son of your maidservant.”  And in verse seventeen, David ends his prayer with:  “Give me a sign of Your GOODNESS, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for You, O LORD, have HELPED me and COMFORTED me.”

 

These are some of the MANY attributes of our HEAVENLY FATHER,  He is a LISTENING FATHER, who LISTENS when His Children call out to Him.  He is a ONE of a KIND FATHER, there are NO OTHERS like Him.  He is a GREAT FATHER who does MARVELOUS DEEDS, and He ALONE is GOD.  He is a LOVING FATHER, whose LOVE has NO LIMITS and is an UNFAILING, EVERLASTING  LOVE.  He is a COMPASSIONATE and GRACIOUS FATHER, who is SLOW to ANGER, and abounds in LOVE and FAITHFULNESS.  He is a MERCIFUL and STRONG FATHER, who has the POWER to SAVE MANKIND from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  And He is a GOOD FATHER, who is a HELPER and COMFORTER.  

 

And He wants to ADD to His very LARGE FAMILY.  But in order to become a MEMBER of His FAMILY, You MUST COME by way of His ONE and ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who PAID the PRICE for the REDEMPTION of ALL mankind.  And you do that by;  ADMITTING that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  And you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and TRUST the HEAVENLY FATHER to FORGIVE ALL your SINS and to REMOVE them as FAR as the EAST is from the WEST, because of His GREAT LOVE, and that is WHAT KIND OF HEAVENLY FATHER HE IS.  So, do this NOW, while you STILL CAN!  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t be LEFT BEHIND!!!

“For it is My Father’s Will that ALL who see His Son and believe in Him should  have eternal life. I will raise them up at the Last Day.”    John 6:40

 

These are the Words of Jesus, God’s Only Son.  He was speaking to a crowd of people who were following Him just to be able to see Him do some MIRACULOUS signs.  So, He told them this:  “Those the FATHER has given Me will come to Me and I will NEVER reject them.  For I have come down from Heaven to do the Will of God who sent Me not to do My Own Will.  And this is the Will of God, that I should NOT lose EVEN ONE of ALL those He has given Me, but that I should RAISE them UP at the Last Day.” (Vv 37,38)   Even though they had seen Him and heard Him, they did NOT BELIEVE.  

 

Then He told them:  “It is My Father’s Will that ALL who SEE His son and BELIEVE in Him SHOULD have ETERNAL LIFE.  And He WILL RAISE them UP at the Last Day.”  The KEY thing here is to BELIEVE, not just SEE and HEAR, but BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST as your SAVIOR and LORD, because it is the WILL of GOD that JESUS should NOT LOSE EVEN ONE of ALL those that God has given Him, but that He would RAISE them UP at the Last Day. (V39)  This is TRULY BLESSED ASSURANCE of God’s Promise of ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  Do you have that ASSURANCE?  Or are you like the crowd who was ONLY looking for a MIRACULOUS SIGN?

 

If you have NOT COME to JESUS CHRIST for your SALVATION, you are NOT a part of those who BELIEVE and BELONG to HIM, and you will NOT be RAISED UP on the Last Day. You will face JUDGMENT and be CONDEMNED to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there.  However, it is the Will of God that EVERYONE who BELIEVES, should NOT PERISH, but have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  And He has a SALVATION PLAN to provide REDEMPTION for the LOST.  You MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST who PAID the PRICE for the REDEMPTION of ALL mankind.  You MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU personally and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God. Then CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINS and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and be a part of THE FATHER’S WILL.  Do this NOW, while you STILL CAN.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t be LEFT BEHIND!!
