God gave His Law to Jacob’s descendants, the people of Israel.  And He told our ancestors to teach their children, so that each new generation would KNOW His Law and TELL it to the next.   Psalm 78:5-6

 

Most people, when they start a family, want the VERY BEST for their children.  They work very hard to provide the BEST HOME, the BEST FOOD, the BEST CLOTHING, the BEST MEDICAL CARE, well, you get the picture, they want the BEST OF EVERYTHING that this SINFUL, WICKED, WORLD will offer.  WHAT!! DID I JUST SAY, they WANT SINFUL, WICKED, WORLDLY things for their children??  Well, if you are NOT MORE INTENT on giving them the BEST of the VERY BEST, which is the KNOWLEDGE of GOD and His Son, JESUS Christ, and their PLAN of SALVATION. And Why JESUS died for THEM, then this SINFUL, WICKED, WORLD will DEVOUR them, like a ROARING LION, it will SWALLOW them up.  UNLESS, you are VIGILANT about the VERY BEST for their SPIRITUAL WELL BEING.  Their SPIRITUAL DESTINY could DEPEND on how YOU prepare them.

 

The Psalmist, Asaph, wanted the PRESENT GENERATION of JEWS, at that time, to TEACH their CHILDREN the WORD of God, so that EACH NEW GENERATION, would KNOW ABOUT His LAW, and then TELL it to the NEXT GENERATION.  Asaph, wanted the children to TRUST GOD, and to OBEY His TEACHINGS, WITHOUT forgetting  ANYTHING God had done.  He wanted them to LEARN from the PAST.  Then they would be DIFFERENT than their ANCESTORS, who were STUBBORN, REBELLIOUS, and UNFAITHFUL to God.  And they MISSED OUT on the BLESSINGS, God had in store for them.  

 

This is an ENCOURAGING WARNING,  ENCOURAGING you to be a POSITIVE INFLUENCE on SPIRITUAL THINGS, for your child’s SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING, and POSSIBLY their ETERNAL DESTINY.  A WARNING, because this SINFUL, WICKED, WORLD, has SINFUL, WICKED PLANS for those who are WILLING to REJECT and REBEL against GOD’S LOVE, and SALVATION from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there. DON’T LET THIS BE YOUR OR YOUR CHILD’S ETERNAL DESTINY.  

 

If YOU have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, and are NOT FOLLOWING the WORD of GOD, then you can’t possibly SET the EXAMPLE or TEACH your CHILDREN about God’s LOVE and His SALVATION.  Here’s what you NEED to do:  First, ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. You MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM, your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and ATTEND a BIBLE-BELIEVING, BIBLE-TEACHING CHURCH, and be a POSITIVE SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE for you Children.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

“Do all you can to go in by the narrow door!  A lot of People will try to get in, but will not be able to.”   Luke 13:24

 

As Jesus travelled to Jerusalem, He taught the people in the towns and villages.  Someone asked Jesus: “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”  Jesus answered this way:  “Do ALL you can to go in by the NARROW DOOR! A lot of people will try to get in, but will NOT be able to.  Once the owner of the house gets up and locks the door, you will be left standing outside.  You will knock on the door and say, “Sir, open the door for us!”  But the owner will answer, ‘I don’t know a thing about you!”  Then you will start saying, “We dined with you, and you taught in our streets.”  But he will say,  “I really don’t KNOW who you are!  Get AWAY from me, you EVIL people!”  (Vv25-27)

 

This is a very TRAGIC STORY.  It depicts the destiny of those who continues to REJECT and REBEL against God and His Son Jesus Christ.  This is why JESUS said: “Do ALL you can to go in by the NARROW DOOR!”  He was telling them that they MUST TURN AWAY FROM their OLD, SINFUL LIFE-STYLE, and NEVER go there again, and to GO in through the NARROW DOOR, JESUS is the DOOR, in which mankind MUST ENTER, in order to be SAVED.  Jesus says:  “I am the DOOR.  If anyone enters by ME, they will be SAVED…” John 10:9

 

The NARROW DOOR will NOT ALWAYS be UNLOCKED.  There will be a time when the MASTER will go to the NARROW DOOR and LOCK IT.  Then the opportunity for a person to be SAVED will END.  And no matter how much you POUND on the NARROW DOOR, it will be TOO LATE. And the MASTER will say:  “DEPART FROM ME, you EVILDOERS of INIQUITY, I DON’T KNOW YOU!” NOW is the TIME for your SALVATION.  That NARROW DOOR can be LOCKED at ANYTIME.  

 

In order for you to ENTER the NARROW DOOR, you MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who gave HIS LIFE to SAVE your SOUL from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  You MUST BELIEVE that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to HIM, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFE-STYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And you MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, by COMING through the NARROW DOOR and receive YOUR ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

 

 

“The LORD is King Forever!”

The LORD is King forever; He has set up His Throne for judgment.  He rules the world with righteousness; He judges the nations with Justice.   Psalm 9:7-8

 

This Psalm was penned by King David, as THANKSGIVING to GOD for His Justice.  In the VICTORY GOD gave David, He allowed David to be able to see a picture of the FINAL JUDGMENT when God JUDGES the world, in the End of Time. But David KNEW his God, and he TRUSTED HIM with his WHOLE BEING. David KNEW that his VICTORY over his enemies CAME from God.  And He KNEW he could put His WHOLE TRUST in Him. That is why David could PROCLAIM that the LORD is a REFUGE in times of TROUBLE, and those who KNOW the LORD GOD, ALMIGHTY can and will TRUST in Him.  God will NOT ABANDON ANYONE who comes to Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.

 

Those who are UNBELIEVERS, and have REJECTED GOD’S Son, the LORD JESUS, CHRIST, as their SAVIOR and LORD, are like those who have dug a pit and fallen into it, they have been caught in their OWN TRAP.  The LORD has revealed Himself by His RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENTS, and the WICKED are TRAPPED by their OWN WICKED DEEDS.   SPIRITUAL DEATH is the DESTINY of ALL the WICKED, of ALL those who REJECT GOD and His Son, JESUS CHRIST. They will spend ALL of their ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there. Will this be your DESTINY? 

 

It doesn’t have to be.  You can be like David, and KNOW that GOD is your REFUGE.  And TRUST in His RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENTS.  He will NOT ABANDON ANY of His CHILDREN.  There is coming a day when EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, and EVERY TONGUE will confess that the LORD is KING FOREVER.  This is what you MUST DO to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL  You MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  And you MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and KNOW Him as your REFUGE and REDEEMER. And with THANKSGIVING, PROCLAIM HIM as: “THE LORD, KING FOREVER!!  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either.  But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.   1 John 2:23

 

Knowing the difference between the TRUTH and the LIES, can be LIFE-ALTERING, and we can take this statement a step further, it will DETERMINE a person’s ETERNAL DESTINY.  TRUTH SHOULD NEVER be confused with LIES. There are some people who thrive on telling lies for whatever reason they deem NECESSARY. 

 

This letter was written to Christian Readers, by John, the Apostle of Jesus Christ.  And was a WARNING of the DANGERS of FALSE TEACHING and also to ENCOURAGE the BELIEVERS to LIVE in OBEDIENCE to God, and to LOVE each other, with an AGAPE type LOVE.  The THEME is FELLOWSHIP with God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS cannot be based on LIES, and will GREATLY HINDER any FELLOWSHIP you may desire, ESPECIALLY if it is to be with the ALMIGHTY GOD and His Beloved Son, CHRIST JESUS.

 

The readers of this letter, were CHRISTIANS, and they had a problem with FALSE TEACHERS, which John calls:  “Antichrists” who denied that JESUS was/is the CHRIST.  Jesus MANY times, identified Himself as being ONE with GOD. He told Philip:  “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father.” …”Don’t you BELIEVE that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me?” (John 14:9&10)  Do YOU BELIEVE this?

 

There are some people who think that as long as they BELIEVE in God, they will be able to spend their ETERNITY in Heaven. Which is NOT TRUE. The demons BELIEVE and KNOW about God.  Jesus, also said:  “I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.  No one can come to the Father except through Me.  If you had REALLY KNOWN Me, you would KNOW who My Father is.  From NOW on, you do KNOW Him and have SEEN Him.”  You CAN’T HAVE ONE WITHOUT the OTHER!!  

 

God wants you to KNOW that HE and JESUS are ONE, and when you KNOW and BELIEVE this you will KNOW the TRUTH. And you will be able to ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and have an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there. You can ONLY do this by coming to God, through His Son JESUS CHRIST, who DIED for YOUR SINS.  You MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS.  And you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and REMEMBER: “YOU CAN’T HAVE ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER!!  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

…When people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning.  But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.      

Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning because God’s life is in them.  1 John 3:8b-9

 

Those who have given their HEART and LIFE to GOD, through the REDEEMING WORK of JESUS CHRIST, becomes the CHILDREN of GOD.  And the CHILD of GOD does NOT make a PRACTICE of SINNING, because GOD’S LIFE is in them.  Therefore, they, being born into the FAMILY of GOD, cannot CONTINUALLY or HABITUALLY SIN.  They may fall to temptation, from time to time, but they should immediately CONFESS their transgression, and vow NOT to make it a habit.  In their HEART, they are REPENTANT and SORROWFUL for their weakness, which is because of being in the FLESH.  Even though the HOLY SPIRIT indwells them, GOD has given them a FREE WILL, and they are FREE to CHOOSE, whether to FALL to the temptation or whether to REJECT it, and TURN AWAY FROM IT.  Jesus told His Disciples:  “Watch and pray that you may NOT enter into TEMPTATION. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mat. 26:41)  The CHILD of GOD’S destiny will be an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.

 

Those who KEEP ON SINNING, belong to the devil.  And they take on the traits of their father, the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning.  Sinning is a LIFE-STYLE, for them, which means that their SINFUL NATURE is in CONTROL of their MIND, HEART, and SOUL.  And they do NOT live RIGHTEOUSLY, but SINFULLY, and they generally have NO LOVE for the TRUE BELIEVER, therefore they DO NOT BELONG to GOD.  And their destiny will be an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.  Children of the devil, have a BLEAK future.  Our verse tells us that the SON of GOD, JESUS CHRIST came to DESTROY the WORKS of the devil, which He did on CALVARY, and at the TOMB where He was VICTORIOUS over SIN, DEATH, and the GRAVE.  

 

If you are a CHILD of the DEVIL, then you are DOOMED, unless you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. You MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and become a TRUE CHILD of GOD, with HEAVEN as your ETERNAL HOME.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.  Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God.    1 John 3:18-19

 

It is ALWAYS good to HEAR someone tell you that they LOVE YOU, but it is even BETTER to be a RECIPIENT of the ACTIONS of that acclamation.  When we put our WORDS into ACTION, it is being MORE REALISTIC and SINCERE about what was SPOKEN.  There is an old cliché that says:  “ACTIONS speak louder that WORDS”, which holds a lot of TRUTH to it. You can even SHOW how you feel about someone, and NOT necessarily SAY the WORDS, because your ACTIONS exemplify what is in your HEART.  

 

The ACTIONS of our Creator, God, are ALWAYS showing us His LOVE for us.  And we KNOW about His GREAT LOVE, through His ACTIONS, when He sent His ONLY SON, to SUFFER and DIE in OUR place, that we might RECEIVE FORGIVENESS of our sins, and to be able to have HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as our ETERNAL HOME.  And to ESCAPE spending an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  Imagine what it would be like, if God merely SPOKE to us and AUDIBLY SAID:  “I LOVE YOU”, but He NEVER EXEMPLIFIED His LOVE with any ACTIONS.  I’m so GLAD that He SHOWS us His GREAT LOVE through HIS ACTIONS.  

 

GOD is TRUTH and LOVE, so when we put our LOVE into ACTIONS, those ACTIONS will show that we BELONG to the TRUTH, which is the fact that we BELONG to GOD.  And therefore, we SHOULD SHOW our LOVE by our ACTIONS, and NOT just with WORDS.  If you TRULY LOVE GOD, put that LOVE into ACTIONS, by PUTTING Him FIRST in your LIFE, and DO the THINGS He has ASKED you to do, and do them with a LOVING ATTITUDE.  So you will be CONFIDENT when you stand before GOD.  

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you do NOT have the LOVE of GOD in your HEART, and you are NOT His CHILD, and your ACTIONS of LOVE will not show that YOU belong to the TRUTH, (God) and you will NOT be able to STAND before Him with CONFIDENCE.  But you will STAND before Him with FEAR and TREMBLING, as His Judgment of CONDEMNATION is ANNOUNCED.  In order to NOT face that scenario, you MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who DIED for YOU.  You MUST BELIEVE that He DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before GOD.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS. You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION (LOVE in ACTION), and STAND with CONFIDENCE because you BELONG to the TRUTH (God), and PUT your LOVE for GOD and OTHERS into ACTIONS.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.  And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ.  This is the True God and Eternal Life.   1 John 5:19-20

 

All a person has to do is LOOK around them, and SEE the WICKEDNESS, DEPRAVITY, CRUELTY, a LACK of REGARD for Human life, and a lack of a MORAL CONSCIENCE.  They are INFLUENCED and SWAYED by the WICKED ONE, the devil.  We often ask:  Could it get any worse?”  Yes, it most definitely can and will.  I am NOT a Prophetess, and I don’t claim to be one, but according to the Word of God, we haven’t seen anything yet!  I believe that PERILOUS TIMES are upon us, and we are facing some pretty HARD TIMES.  JUST SAYING!!!

 

In order to survive with a sane mind and a STRONG TRUSTWORTHINESS of God’s care, you MUST first be a TRUE BELIEVER, in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and His SAVING POWER.  And to KNOW that He has come to give us an UNDERSTANDING so that we might KNOW HIM Who is TRUE, because we are in Him who is TRUE, we are in Christ Jesus, and therefore, we are in God, who is the ONE TRUE GOD and ETERNAL LIFE.

 

The TRUTH is:  That we, who are the Children of God can have the ASSURANCE that we are of God, and that because of our NEW NATURE, we can be RESISTANT to SIN and the evil one.  This UNDERSTANDING makes possible our KNOWLEDGE of God, and that is KNOWING the REAL TRUTH, and being ABLE to REJECT the FALSE (lies) with which this WICKED WORLD tries to INFLUENCE and SWAY us.  There are MANY who are INFLUENCED and SWAYED by SATAN’S tactics, and his lies, which he uses very DECEITFULLY to lead people AWAY FROM the TRUTH of GOD and ETERNAL LIFE.  The Bible teaches us that we CANNOT serve two masters. We MUST DECIDE which way we will go.  Will we ACCEPT CHRIST as our SAVIOR and LORD, and receive an UNDERSTANDING of the REAL TRUTH, or will we be INFLUENCED and SWAYED by the devil, by NOT REJECTING the FALSE, his LIES.

 

You cannot REJECT the TRUTH, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and have an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  In order to have an UNDERSTANDING of God, and ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, you MUST REJECT, the FALSE, the DEVIL and his lies, and be able to ESCAPE an ETERNAL LIFE in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  Which will it be for YOU?

 

If you want to REALLY KNOW the REAL TRUTH, you MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS, and you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and gain the UNDERSTANDING of GOD and ETERNAL LIFE, and KNOW the TRUTH, and REJECT the FALSE.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

 

 

“The Lord Be Magnified!”

Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You, Let such as love Your Salvation say continually,  “The Lord be magnified!”    Psalm 40:16

 

I love this Psalm because it is a clear picture of David’s PERSEVERING FAITH in his times of TRIAL, and MANY TROUBLES with his enemies.  He cries out to the ONLY ONE who can HELP him, his CREATOR GOD.  David’s plea for DELIVERANCE to the ONE Who can DELIVER him shows us an example of his FAITH and TRUST in GOD and NOT in MAN.

 

NOTICE that David says:  “Let ALL those who SEEK YOU”, if a person is SEEKING GOD, they MUST have SOME TRUST in Him for whatever DESPERATE NEED they have.  They can REJOICE and be GLAD KNOWING that HE IS ABLE to SUSTAIN and DELIVER them from wherever the PERVERTED and CROOKED PATHS of this SINFUL WORLD might take them.  And what their enemies might put in their way, to try to deter them from getting to their ETERNAL HOME.  They can have ASSURANCE KNOWING that they WILL get there with GOD’S HELP.  And like David, if they have a STRONG, PERSEVERING FAITH, they will ARRIVE VICTORIOUS in this EARTHLY JOURNEY.

 

NOT only can they REJOICE and BE GLAD, but because of the LOVE of their SALVATION, which is provided by GOD, they can say, with CERTAINTY and TRUST in Him:  “The LORD be MAGNIFIED.”  In other words, to offer up the HIGHEST PRAISE to their ROCK, REFUGE, and their REDEEMER.  He is the ONLY ONE, who in the END, WILL determine where you will spend your ETERNITY.  

 

If you have given your HEART and LIFE to God, then, like David, you can REJOICE and BE GLAD, because of GOD’S plan of DELIVERANCE, and His plan of SALVATION.  HE WILL DELIVER you!!  He will DELIVER you from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  

 

However, if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, through the REDEEMING PROCESS of His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, the One who CAME and DIED for YOU, to SAVE you from an ETERNITY in HELL, and to give you an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.   Here is what YOU MUST DO.  You MUST FIRST, ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY SON. You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, be WILLING to TURN AWAY from your sinful life style, and TURN TO GOD.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift OF SALVATION, and REJOICE and BE GLAD, and CONTINUALLY say:  “The LORD be MAGNIFIED!!”  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

I waited patiently for the LORD; He inclined to me and heard my cry.  He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.   Psalm 40:1,2

 

The first thing I want you to notice is, the fact that David says that he WAITED PATIENTLY, for the LORD, and the LORD inclined to David and HEARD David’s plea for HELP!  Sometimes, when we are loaded down with things that are too much for us to bear, and we call upon the LORD, for  His HELP, we expect Him to RUN to us and NOT DELAY, and we are very ADAMANT about Him coming to us, ANYTIME we want Him to come.  But He will NOT respond to our dilemma until we show some FAITH and TRUST in Him.

 

David could WAIT PATIENTLY, because he KNEW God already KNEW what was troubling him, and he was CONFIDENT that God would RESPOND to his cry, in His OWN TIME and His OWN WAY.  So, if David wanted God’s HELP, he was more than willing to WAIT.  David’s life was riddled with sins and he knew that his problems were due to those sins.  So, David, wholeheartedly sought the Lord God, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and he had CONFIDENCE in his Creator for his DELIVERANCE from the PIT of DESTRUCTION, which was of  David ‘s  own making.  

 

 And because of David’s FAITH and TRUST, GOD came, and as David puts it, “He drew me UP from the PIT of DESTRUCTION, OUT of the MIRY CLAY.  Even though David’s situation was of his own making, God KNEW David’s HEART, and He came to David’s RESCUE.  And He set David’s feet upon a ROCK, (firm, steady ground), making his steps SECURE.  Thus giving David, a NEW SONG of PRAISE and REJOICING to the ALMIGHTY GOD.  And from David’s situation; MANY will SEE it, and they will HONOR and TRUST the LORD GOD.

 

Are you in a PIT of DESTRUCTION? If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to the LORD GOD, then you are in the PIT, and your SINS and REBELLION against the HOLY GOD, will bring the DESTRUCTION of your SOUL, and send you to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  In order to ESCAPE HELL and to be RESCUED from the PIT of DESTRUCTION, you MUST FIRST, ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, God’s ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  You MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU, and that HE is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask HIM for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and let Him lift you UP out of the PIT of DESTRUCTION, and SET your feet on the SOLID ROCK, which is the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

 

“The Lamp”

“He was the lamp that was burning and was shining and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.”  John 5:35

 

These are the Words of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, after healing a man at the Pool of Bethesda, was questioned by the Jewish religious leaders about Jesus’ Authority and not only breaking the Sabbath, but also calling GOD His own FATHER, making Himself equal with God.  It was this reason that the Jews were seeking all the more to KILL Jesus.

 

Jesus informs them that He can do nothing on His own initiative.  And if He alone testifies about Himself, the testimony is not admissible as legal evidence.  But there is another who testifies of Him and He KNOWS that the TESTIMONY which He gives about Jesus is TRUE.  And that is the Testimony of the Almighty God to Jesus, His Only Begotten Son.  It was the position of John the Baptist to be that WITNESS.  

 

It was John the Baptist, who, through his preaching, brought people from the DARKNESS into the TRUE LIGHT.  John was NOT the TRUE LIGHT, but he was the LAMP that illuminated the path to the TRUE LIGHT, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, for the SALVATION of their Souls.  Are you a LAMP that is illuminating the pathway to the TRUE LIGHT?  

 

If you are a TRUE BELIEVER, then it is your responsibility, just like John the Baptist, to be a LAMP that illuminates the PATHWAY to the TRUE LIGHT.  So others can come into the TRUE LIGHT and find SALVATION for their SINFUL SOULS.  And that they might REJOICE, because they are NOW TRUE BELIEVERS of the TRUE LIGHT.  This is the ONLY WAY they can come to Christ for their SALVATION.

 

If you are NOT a TRUE BELIEVER, then you are living in the darkness.  You NEED a LAMP to illuminate your path to the TRUE LIGHT.  I will be the LAMP for you.  In order for you to come OUT of your DARKNESS and into the TRUE LIGHT, you MUST first ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS, the TRUE LIGHT.  And then you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and is NOW ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  YOU MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and be the LAMP to ILLUMINATE someone else’s PATHWAY to the TRUE LIGHT and to their SALVATION.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true.  Those who don’t believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don’t believe what God has testified about His Son.     1 John 5:10

 

The TRUE BELIEVER knows in their heart that THE testimony, that is the PURE TRUTH, is God’s TESTIMONY, which is this; He has given us ETERNAL LIFE, and this life is in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  And WHOEVER has the SON has LIFE; WHOEVER does NOT have God’s Son does NOT have LIFE (V11). 

 

Since we are prone to BELIEVE human testimony, you would think that we could CERTAINLY BELIEVE the GREATER TESTIMONY, which comes from the ALMIGHTY GOD.  And deals with the ETERNAL DESTINY of ALL MANKIND.   God’s Son, Jesus came to earth to give that VERY SPECIAL GIFT of GOD, which is the SALVATION of MANKIND. No matter who you are, or what status you hold in this life, we ALL are EQUAL at the FOOT of the CROSS. The Place where the GREATEST EVENT of ALL times was put into action, the SALVATION of ALL MANKIND.  And this ACTION cost ONE MAN His Life in order for MANY to be FORGIVEN of their sins and to RECEIVE an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.

 

 

For the UNBELIEVER, who REJECTS and DENIES this VERY SPECIAL GIFT, in all actuality, they are MAKING GOD OUT TO BE A LIAR, because this GOOD NEWS is GOD’S TESTIMONY that the ALMIGHTY GOD testified about His Son.  And their UNBELIEF, is what will bring them the JUDGMENT and CONDEMNATION of the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, who will determine their ETERNAL DESTINY.  And it WILL NOT be HEAVEN.  

 

However, God has a plan to RESCUE those who will come to Him, because of His TESTIMONY concerning His Son, JESUS, who has provided the way for ALL MANKIND to have an ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  To do that, you MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS, and you MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is NOW ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS. Then you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN to GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. You MUST BELIEVE GOD’S TESTIMONY, and RECIEVE His Gift of SALVATION, and Do NOT be GUILTY of making God OUT to be a LIAR, but BELIEVE His TRUE TESTIMONY.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
