“Undeserved Grace”

 

Christ sacrificed His Life’s Blood to set us free, which means our sins are now forgiven.  Christ did this because of God’s Gift of Undeserved Grace to us.  God has Great Wisdom and Understanding, and by what Christ has done, God has shown us His Own Mysterious Ways.  Then when the time is right, God will do all He has planned, and Christ will bring together everything in heaven and on earth.    Ephesians 1:7-10

 

GRACE:  Receiving blessings we don’t deserve

 

God’s UNDESERVED GRACE is the act of RECEIVING what we DO NOT DESERVE.  MANKIND is SINFUL and DISOBEDIENT in their nature, and their SINFUL, DISOBEDIENT nature MUST be ATONED for by the SHEDDING of BLOOD.  And it is the BLOOD of God’s own SON, the Lord Jesus Christ, that provides the UNDESERVED GRACE.  He was the PERFECT, BLAMELESS LAMB of the ALMIGHTY GOD, and was the ONLY ONE who could RESCUE MANKIND from their sins.  It is by His BLOOD that we are SET FREE from the SLAVERY of SIN. 

 

And because of this UNDESERVED GRACE we are FORGIVEN.  This time of year, many are SEARCHING for that PERFECT GIFT, for a loved one.  But the Lord God Almighty, didn’t have to SEARCH for the PERFECT GIFT of UNDESERVED GRACE for MANKIND, it was in the very HEART of God, from ETERNITY PAST, and will be through ETERNITY FUTURE. It was made POSSIBLE through the REDEMPTIVE ACT of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, by way of the CROSS and the GRAVE.  But the GRAVE is not the END of the result of UNDESERVED GRACE.  Because, JESUS was the VICTOR over DEATH and the GRAVE.  And that is why we have the HOPE of HEAVEN as our ETERNAL HOME.   And that is why it is UNDESERVED, there is NOTHING we can do to PROVIDE the WAY or MEANS to SECURE us an ETERNITY in HEAVEN. 

 

And because of this UNDESERVED GRACE, God has shown to us His Own mysterious ways, this mystery is a previously hidden truth unveiled by God’s revelation, and it is; when the time is right, God will do ALL He has planned, and Christ Jesus will bring together EVERYTHING in Heaven and on Earth.  Meaning, at the END of the AGES, the COMPLETION of HISTORY God will GATHER everything to Himself, and He will create a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH, and the ENTIRE NEW UNIVERSE will be UNIFIED under the Authority of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.   Are you a recipient of God’s UNDESERVED GRACE?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you are NOT His Child, and you are NOT a RECIPIENT of UNDESERVED GRACE, but you are headed for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  You can change that destiny by, WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESSING your sins to Him and ASKING Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and UNDESERVED GRACE, and spend ALL of ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“A Faith GUARANTEED Promise”

 

 

Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham.  He is the father of us all.     Romans 4:16

 

Just what does a FAITH GUARANTEED PROMISE mean; well, I am about to enlighten you, somewhat, on this matter.  This means that the PROMISE, given to Abraham, and his offspring, that he would be heir of the world, was given because of Abraham’s RIGHTEOUSNESS, which came by his FAITH.  It is an ASSURANCE that this promise would be fulfilled.  It was NOT through the keeping of the Law that Abraham received this promise, it was because of his RIGHTEOUSNESS by FAITH.

 

Abraham did NOT WAVER in His FAITH, but BELIEVED that GOD had the POWER to do what He had PROMISED.  And that is why it was credited to Abraham as RIGHTEOUSNESS.  This accreditation was not for Abraham alone, but also for THOSE, who BELIEVE in Him who raised Jesus from the dead.  The CRITICAL QUESTION for you is:  Do you BELIEVE in GOD and His Son, JESUS CHRIST, who gave His LIFE that we might BELIEVE in God, and become RIGHTEOUS in His Sight, like ABRAHAM?  Do you BELIEVE that God has the POWER to do what He promises? 

 

He GUARATEES the PROMISE of an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS to those who by FAITH, will ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  In order to do that, and to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL of its HORRORS, you MUST BE WILLING TO TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO HIM, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOUR SINS, and is now ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then YOU MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and be a TRUE RECIPIENT of GOD’S GUARANTEED PROMISE.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“A Thankful Captive of Grace”

 

But thank God! He has made us His Captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s Triumphal Procession. Now He uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.     2 Corinthians 2:14

 

When a person is CONVICTED of their SINFUL CONDITION by the Holy Spirit of the Living God, and they RESPOND to the WOOING of the Spirit, by coming to the foot of the Cross of Jesus Christ, for the SALVATION of their soul. They will then become a CAPTIVE, one, who is ENSLAVED by LOVE, the LOVE of God for ALL of mankind, and for them PERSONALLY.  They too, then can be called a CAPTIVE of GRACE.  I am EXTREMELY THANKFUL ALL the TIME, to be considered a CAPTIVE of GOD’S AMAZING GRACE.  And I am ASTOUNDEDLY THANKFUL to SERVE Him. 

 

The Apostle Paul, in this letter to the TRUE BELIEVERS in CORINTH, wanted them to KNOW just what it meant to be a CAPTIVE OF GRACE.  First, of all he is THANKFUL, because in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, He LEADS them/us in TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION, a VICTORY PARADE. They were ONCE slaves to sin, but they NOW, were SLAVES or SERVANTS of the MOST HIGH GOD, and they NOW have VICTORY over SPIRITUAL DEATH and an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  In a Roman triumph processional INCENSE was diffused everywhere, and the Apostle Paul compares the SWEET FRAGANCE of the INCENSE to the KNOWLEDGE of Christ, by way of PREACHING and WITNESSING to a LOST and DYING WORLD.

 

We, the TRUE BELIEVERS, are the AROMA of Christ, this FRAGANCE is perceived differently among those who are being SAVED and among those who are PERISHING, to those who are PERISHING, we are a DREADFUL smell of DEATH and DOOM.  But to those who are being SAVED, we are a LIFE-GIVING PERFUME.  What an AWESOME TASK, and this is why I am a THANKFUL CAPTIVE of GRACE.  I am UNWORTHY on my OWN merits, but because of GOD’S AMAZING GRACE, I am HONORED to be able to SHARE the LOVE that God has for EACH ONE OF US, to this LOST and DYING WORLD, and to be HIS CAPTIVE of GRACE.   Are you His CAPTIVE of GRACE?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you are NOT a CAPTIVE of GRACE, but you are LOST and on your way to an ETERNITY in HELL.  In order to CHANGE that DESTINY, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is NOW ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and be THANKFUL that you are a CAPTIVE of GRACE, SHARING HIS LOVE, and a part of the VICTORY PARADE, marching into an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Overflowing with Thankfulness”

 

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow Him.   Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.  Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.                 Colossians 2:6-7

 

There are MANY things for us to be THANKFUL for, and for the TRUE BELIEVER, the FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT THING is having a TRUE, RIGHTEOUS RELATIONSHIP with God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, the ONE and ONLY ONE who can provide that RELATIONSHIP for the TRUE BELIEVER.  He came from ALL the GLORIES of HEAVEN, to live a life of SCORN, RIDICULE, PERSECUTION, REJECTION and a SHAMELESS DEATH on the Cross of Calvary. But DEATH and the GRAVE could NOT HOLD, Him. Within three days He was RISEN from DEATH and the grave, and WALKING and TALKING to His Beloved Disciples. The ONE who GAVE His OWN LIFE to SAVE MINE and YOURS from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  He GAVE, and ALL we have to do is to RECEIVE this PRECIOUS GIFT of SALVATION. 

 

The Apostle Paul gives us GUIDANCE as to what we should do, in order to enjoy a life that is PLEASING and ACCEPTABLE to the ALMIGHTY GOD.  He tells us that we should be ROOTED and BUILT UP in Christ Jesus. Just like a plant that has a STRONG ROOT system, which GROWS DEEP, and is STRONG and STEADFAST, and will PRODUCE a STRONG, HEALTHY PLANT.  When the TRUE BELIEVER does this, they will grow STRONG in their FAITH, and in the TRUTH that they are TAUGHT from the HOLY WORD of GOD.  And they will have the ASSURANCE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  This is what SHOULD cause the HEART of EVERY TRUE BELIEVER to OVERFLOW with THANKFULNESS.  This is our PERMANENT, SPIRITUAL, PROMISE of an ETERNAL HOME with FATHER GOD and His SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Are you READY?

 

However, if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then your ETERNAL DESTINY is an ETERNITY in HELL.  And there is NO WAY OUT, once you are there, it’s FOREVER torment and despair.  God, out of His ABUNDANT MERCY and AMAZING GRACE, has PROVIDED a WAY for you to CHANGE that DESTINY.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY from your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is NOW ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and let your HEART OVERFLOW with THANKFULNESS, ALL the TIME.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting, and COMING SOON!!!

Always thanking the Father.  He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to His people, who live in the light.    Colossians 1:12

 

THANKSGIVING, ONE day set aside, in which we offer THANKSGIVING to the one who prepares the meal, the one who opens their homes for the gathering of the family members, OH, yeah, we ARE SUPPOSE to THANK GOD TOO, MAYBE!  For some this is nothing more than a DAY set aside for families to get together, and PIG OUT!  OVER-EAT, GLUTTONY?

 

The Apostle Paul, says that we should, ALWAYS give THANKS to our HEAVENLY FATHER, GOD, which means, EVERYDAY, we SHOULD THANK God for His GOODNESS and His BLESSINGS.  But MOST IMPORTANT of ALL, is THANKING Him for making it possible for the TRUE BELIEVER to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there. And to be ABLE to GAIN an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  And for them to be able to SHARE in that INHERITANCE, which is made POSSIBLE to those who LIVE in the LIGHT of the KINGDOM of GOD, those who are TRUE BELIEVERS in God’s Son the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who SUFFERED, BLED and DIED, in order to SAVE MANKIND from an ETERNITY in HELL, and to PROVIDE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN.

 

We should give THANKS to God, EVERYDAY, for His MERCY, RESCUING US from the kingdom of darkness, and His GRACE, bringing us into the KINGDOM of LIGHT, the KINGDOM of His SON, Jesus Christ, the ONE who purchased our FREEDOM, with His OWN life, and FORGAVE ALL OUR SINS.  For the TRUE BELIEVER, those who have come to the foot of the Cross, and have ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST as their SAVIOR and LORD, EVERYDAY should be a DAY of GIVING THANKS, to the ALMIGHTY GOD and His SON.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are probably offering THANKS ONE day, each year, for TEMPORARY things that will one day be gone, and you will be FACING a VERY BLEAK, PERMANENT situation.  You will be FACING an ETERNITY in HELL, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, unless you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and be able to GIVE THANKS, EVERYDAY for your ETERNAL INHERITANCE, of HEAVEN, because of GOD’S ABUNDANT MERCY and His AMAZING GRACE.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

 

 

 

 

TRUST at ALL Times!"

 

“TRUST at ALL Times!”

 

Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our Refuge.    Psalm 62:8

 

King David was not only a GREAT KING, and WARRIOR, but he was also an ACCOMPLISHED SONG WRITER.  Many of his Psalms were sent to the Director of Music.  And this Psalm is one of his songs.  David KNEW where his STRENGTH came from, and was pretty adamant about where he placed his TRUST. 

 

In this Psalm, David expresses that the ALMIGHTY GOD is his REST, ROCK, REFUGE, HOPE, A MIGHTY FORTRESS, and his SALVATION.  And his DEPENDENCE was on God.  This claim came from life-time experiences.  God RESCUED David from his enemies, many times and gave him the ability to be a MIGHTY WARRIOR and KING.  Whenever David was in trouble, he CALLED upon the ALMIGHTY GOD, because he KNEW that GOD would RESCUE him and would be his SALVATION.  He also KNEW the IMPORTANCE of WHEN to put his TRUST IN GOD. 

 

David says to:  TRUST in God at ALL times, NOT ONLY when we are facing TROUBLES, but ALL the time. We NEED to TRUST Him with EVERY ASPECT of our lives.  We SHOULD POUR OUT our WHOLE HEART to Him, without ABANDONING our FAITH, but with ASSURANCE that He is ABLE to take care of EVERY and ALL needs.  For the TRUE BELIEVER, He is their REST, ROCK, REFUGE, HOPE, A MIGHTY FORTRESS, and THEIR SALVATION, and like King David, They can DEPEND on Him at ALL TIMES.  CAN YOU?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then He is NOT your REST, ROCK, REFUGE, HOPE, A MIGHTY FORTRESS or SALVATION.  But He CAN be and WANTS to be, if you will TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS, God’s Son, died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and allow Him to be your REST, ROCK, REFUGE, HOPE, A MIGHTY FORTRESS and your SALVATION, and to provide a WAY of ESCAPING HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and GAINING HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS for ALL of ETERNITY.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.   He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Righteous through Faith"

 

“Righteousness through Faith”

 

But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.  What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.  I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ.  And be found in Him not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ---the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.      Philippians 3:7-9

 

The Apostle Paul CONSIDERED his RELATIONSHIP with the LORD JESUS CHRIST, PRICELESS, and WORTH MORE than he POSSESSED or had EVER POSSESSED.  He tells us that he considers EVERYTHING a LOSS compared to KNOWING Christ Jesus, PERSONALLY.  He NO LONGER had CONFIDENCE in the FLESH, but NOW he had CONFIDENCE in JESUS CHRIST alone. 

 

Paul, CONSIDERED those things that he had GAINED in life to be nothing more than RUBBISH, in order to GAIN a RELATIONSHIP with Christ Jesus.  NOTHING else really MATTERED to him, in light of him possessing a RELATIONSHIP with JESUS CHRIST, as his SAVIOR and LORD, this SURPASSED everything he had ever gained in his JEWISH RELIGION.   

 

For those who are FOUND IN CHRIST, they are the ones who have GAINED a RELATIONSHIP with Him, because He, JESUS CHRIST, is in the TRUE BELIEVER and the TRUE BELIEVER is in HIM. It is a CRUCIAL MATTER, that the one who comes to Christ, is responding to the WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT, who draws them to CHRIST. And when they come to Him, it is not because of their SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS, but it is through the RIGHTEOUSNESS of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  The Prophet Isaiah, writes that; …. ALL our RIGHTEOUSNESSES are like FILTHY RAGS.” (Isa. 64:6)

 

However, the RIGHTEOUSNESS that is found in CHRIST is the RIGHTEOUSNESS that we MUST POSSESS to have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD, the ONE who holds the DESTINY of EVERYONE, in His HANDS.  If you POSSESS the RIGHTEOUSNESS of CHRIST JESUS, then you will have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him and will be able to stand COMPLETE IN CHRIST JESUS, through HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and because of your FAITH in CHRIST JESUS.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are NOT in CHRIST JESUS, and HE is NOT in YOU.  You do NOT POSSESS His RIGHTEOUSNESS, and CANNOT have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God, until you are WILLING TO TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and receive the RIGHTEOUSNESS of CHRIST, through FAITH in Him, and BE READY to ACCEPT an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

But When you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.  That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.    James 1:6-7

 

Our Scriptures, today, tells us of the RISK of PRAYING without a TRUE, STEADFAST FAITH in the ONE, to whom we are voicing our PRAYERS.  First, we MUST BELIEVE in God and His AWESOME POWER and His ABILITY to do what we are asking Him to do.  And to TRUST Him to do it at the PROPER time. We MUST TRUST His WILL, and KNOW that HE will do what is BEST for EVERY SITUATION. 

 

We are told to NOT have DOUBTS, it isn’t that TRUE BELIEVERS DOUBT the EXISTENSE of God, but MORE to the CHARACTER of God, in the aspect of what KIND of God do they SERVE.  DOUBTING that hinders our PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God, will also HINDER our PRAYERS to Him.  ABSOLUTE TRUST is what will bring about a STRONG, VIBRANT, PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Him and His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who makes it POSSIBLE to POSSESS a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the Almighty God. And a PRAYER-LIFE that is BASED on a STRONG FAITH and an ABIDING TRUST. 

 

The FAITH, which we are talking about MUST TRUST GOD without ANY HESITATION.  When a person who has NOT TRUSTED God with their SALVATION or maybe even NOT BELIEVED in Him, comes to Him, to offer their URGENT REQUEST, they will NOT be HEARD, by Him, because they HAVE NOT TRUSTED in Him for their SALVATION, and they LIVE in a SINFUL LIFESTYLE.  In Psalm 66:18, it says: “If I regard iniquity in my HEART, the Lord will NOT hear me.” He will ONLY HEAR them, if they FIRST, PRAY a TRUE PRAYER of REPENTANCE, one that is FREE FROM DOUBT. 

 

God’s Answer may NOT be what we are LOOKING for, because we MUST TRUST HIS WILL, and NOT voice a DOUBTFUL PRAYER, but have a STRONG FAITH, knowing that He will work ALL things for our good.  But, if you have NOT PRAYED that PRAYER of REPENTANCE, God is giving you the OPPORTUNITY NOW, to do so.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT (SORROWFUL) HEART. Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that His Son, JESUS CHRIST died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and STOP the DOUBTFUL PRAYING, but PRAY BELIEVING and TRUSTING.  And receive an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“The Desire to Do What is Good”

 

 

For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.  For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.  For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do---this I keep on doing.    Romans 7:18-19

 

There was once a RICH young man, who came to Jesus and said to Him: “GOOD Teacher, what GOOD thing shall I do that I may have ETERNAL LIFE?”  Jesus replied: “Why do you call Me GOOD?  No one is GOOD but ONE, that is GOD.” (Luke 18:19) This tells us that we possess NO GOOD THING within us, because of our SINFUL NATURE.  When we are born, we are born with a SINFUL NATURE, the desire to carry out SINFUL THINGS, the things that expresses themselves through the MIND and the BODY.  The MIND THINKS about it, and the BODY carries that SINFUL thought to fruition or GRATIFICATION. 

 

This is TRUE even for the TRUE BELIEVER, they may have the DESIRE to do what is GOOD, but they can’t carry it out, because they are in the FLESH and on their OWN, they do NOT have the POWER to COMPLETELY pull AWAY from those SINFUL THOUGHTS and ACTIONS.  ONLY GOD’S POWER can SEPARATE us from the EVIL things that we REALLY DO NOT WANT TO DO, but we STILL are PRONE to KEEP on doing.  Because GOD is GOODNESS, personified, and we are NOT, we MUST DEPEND on Him to STEER us in the RIGHT DIRECTION and to have the RIGHT THOUGHTS.  We ALL are SINNERS in NEED of a SAVIOR, even those who have given their HEARTS and LIVES to HIM.  He is the ONLY ONE who can produce GOOD in us. 

 

The definition of GOOD is:  Morally excellent; virtuous; righteous, pious.  You cannot fall into this category, UNLESS you have been to the CROSS of CHRIST, and been CLEASENED by His BLOOD, for the SALVATION of your soul, and then COME DAILY for a CLEANSING of your SINS, SEEKING FORGIVENESS and to have your FELLOWSHIP with God, RENEWED, and your RIGHTEOUSNESS, with Him REFRESHED.  And ALLOW Him to do the GOOD you DESIRE to do.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you have NO RELATIONSHIP with Him or His Son, JESUS CHRIST, who gave His OWN life for the FORGIVENESS of your sins. And if you DESIRE to DO GOOD, and to NOT DO what you SHOULD NOT DO, you MUST have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with ALMIGHTY GOD.  And to do that, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and DESIRING TO DO GOOD, allow Him to DO GOOD through you, by HIS POWER.  And be able to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, as your ETERNAL DESTINY, and RECEIVE HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS as your ETERNAL HOME.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!  No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.  And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.  But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.        1 Corinthians 10:12-13

 

I have been told MANY TIMES that there is NOTHING STRONGER or more POWERFUL than the ALMIGHTY GOD.  So, when I read this verse it gives me HOPE that there is NOTHING that this SINFUL, CORRUPT, DEPRAVED, EVIL WORLD can throw at me, that MY GOD, can’t provide for me at WAY of ESCAPE.

 

The Apostle Paul, gave the Corinthian Believers, a little bit of a Hebrew history lesson, concerning the EXODUS of the Israelites from EGYPT to the PROMISED LAND.  And MANY of them put the LORD GOD to the TEST.  They engaged in sexual immorality and revelry, and GOD was NOT PLEASED with them, and their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. This is a WARNING to NOT SET your HEARTS on EVIL THINGS.  WE SHOULD NOT TEST the LORD. 

 

As we get CLOSER to the CULMINATION of the AGES we will encounter MORE and MORE of a WICKED, PERVERTED, CORRUPT and DESPICABLE WORLD.  And TEMPTATIONS will be RAMPANT, and many will FALL, even those who THINK they are STANDING FIRM.  They MUST NOT PUT the LORD to the TEST, because they are subject to FALL.  However, our Scripture tells us that there is NO TEMPTATION that has OVERTAKEN us, but that the TEMPTATION is COMMON to MANKIND.  And the ALMIGHTY GOD is FAITHFUL and He will NOT LET us be TEMPTED BEYOND what we can BEAR.  But when TEMPTATION COMES, He will PROVIDE a WAY of ESCAPE, so we can OVERCOME it, through ENDURANCE.  For some, though, the problem is; when they are faced with temptation, they are NOT LOOKING for a WAY OUT, through ENDURANCE, but they have FALLEN, and are LOOKING for a WAY IN through, INDULGENCE. 

 

Those who are LIVING SINFUL LIFESTYLES, and REJECTING the Son of God as their SAVIOR and LORD, are those who have FALLEN into the TEMPTATIONS that have come their way.  They have surrendered to their passions and INDULGED in REBELLION AGAINST the ALMIGHTY GOD.  They are facing an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.  However, REMEMBER, the ALMIGHTY GOD has PROVIDED away to OVERCOME the TEMPTATIONS, which is; His PLAN of SALVATION.  In order to be SAVED from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and DO NOT PUT HIM TO THE TEST, but TRUST Him to make a way for you to ESCAPE your TEMPTATIONS, and to keep you from an ETERNITY in HELL and to GIVE you an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“The Climax of Experiential Joy!”

 

You love Him, though you have not seen Him.  And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy, because you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.     1 Peter 1:8-9

 

The EXPERIENTIAL JOY of a TRUE BELIEVER, comes through their FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ and His REDEMPTIVE WORK on the CROSS to FREE mankind from their SINS, and to PROVIDE an ETERNAL HOME in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Their FAITH is NOT a result of the   KNOWLEDGE of JESUS, but it is on the PERSON of JESUS.  And on whether they TRULY POSSESS a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him and His Heavenly Father, God.

 

The Apostle Peter was focusing on those who were being persecuted for their FAITH, and ENCOURAGING them to KEEP THE FAITH.  Even in times of PERSECUTION they could EXPERIENCE JOY, because they were PRESENTLY receiving SALVATION, which is the GOAL of their FAITH.  Even though, they did NOT see JESUS, their BELIEF and FAITH in Him could bring them INEXPRESSIBLE and GLORIOUS JOY.  And SALVATION through Him, is PAST: He has given us a NEW BIRTH.  It is PRESENT: Through a FAITH that is SHIELDED by the POWER of GOD.  And FUTURE:  It is an INHERITANCE for the TRUE BELIEVER.   EACH DAY brings us CLOSER to RECEIVING the CULMINATION of our SALVATION.  And because we BELIEVE even when we have NOT SEEN our REDEEMER, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, we can EXPERIENCE INEXPRESSIBLE, GLORIOUS JOY, even in times of PERSECUTION.  CAN YOU?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then the outlook of your DESTINY is DARK and BLEAK, because you are FACING an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  And you surely cannot EXPERIENCE TRUE, INEXPRESSIBLE JOY, with that in your future.  However, God is giving you an opportunity NOW to CHANGE that DESTINY by: TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO HIM, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and then EVEN though you have NOT SEEN HIM, BELIEVE in Him and place your FAITH in JESUS, and EXPERIENCE that INEXPRESSIBLE, GLORIOUS JOY all the way into your ETERNAL HOME, HEAVEN.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Have You Failed the Test?”

 

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.  Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you---unless, of course, you fail the test?     2 Corinthians 13:5

 

Throughout the Apostle Paul’s ministry, his conduct was held in scrutiny, but this time he turned the tables on those in Corinth, who considered THEMSELVES to be TRUE CHRISTIANS.  He told them to EXAMINE themselves to see whether they REALLY WERE LIVING in the FAITH, that they PROFESSED to doing.  In other words, he was telling them to TEST their OWN conduct, was it QUESTIONABLE or TRUSTWORTHY?  He CHALLENGED them to put THEMSELVES to the TEST.

 

The test is ONE VERY IMPORTANT question: “ARE YOU REALLY A TRUE CHRISTIAN or not?”  Now, that is the question, that we, who PROFESS to be TRUE CHRISTIANS, must be willing to EXAMINE OURSELVES with, and to do that we MUST BE HONEST, it could determine your ETERNAL DESTINY. 

 

First part of the EXAM is:  Do you DEMONSTRATE A FAITH in JESUS CHRIST?  Are you LIVING by FAITH or by the FLESH?  Next, Are you OBEDIENT to the TEACHINGS of JESUS?  Do you even KNOW what His TEACHINGS are?  If NOT, try reading the Gospel of John.  To PASS the test you MUST BELIEVE that you are a SINNER in NEED of a SAVIOR, the ONLY SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who willingly died on a cross for you. Then HUMBLE yourself by CONFESSING your SINS to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then you MUST ACCEPT HIS GIFT of SALVATION, and START LIVING by FAITH and NOT by the FLESH.  And be willing to be OBEDIENT to the TEACHINGS of JESUS.   Then you will PASS the TEST!!

 

But if you REJECT JESUS CHRIST, and remain DISOBEDIENT to His will and His teachings , and DENY any FAITH in Him, you not only FAIL the TEST, but you have signed your FATE to an ETERNAL DESTINY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  The only way to CHANGE that is to PASS the TEST.  So be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask for His FORGIVENESS. And BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOUR SALVATION.  Then ACCEPT it and START LIVING BY FAITH.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Empty Deceit and Worthless Philosophy”

 

Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elemental forces of the world, and not based on Christ.     Colossians 2:8

 

The Apostle Paul was issuing a WARNING to the believers in Colossae, concerning FALSE PHILOSOPHY and EMPTY DECEIT.  In other words, STAY AWAY from those who teach idle fancies and plain nonsense. Those who push ideas of a MATERIAL WORLD rather than the SPIRITUAL WORLD. They use CRUDE NOTIONS that are rooted in the ELEMENTAL TEACHINGS of the WORLD and they DISREGARD the TEACHINGS of CHRIST, the TRUE MESSIAH.

 

This WORLD is NOT the PERMANENT DWELLING PLACE for the TRUE BELIEVER of JESUS CHRIST, it is TEMPORARY and the TRUE BELIEVER NEEDS to be MORE in tune with the PHILOSOPHIES of the SPIRITUAL WORLD, which are ROOTED in the teachings of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, than with the WORTHLESS PHILOSOPHIES of this WORLD, which offers nothing more than EMPTY DECEIT. 

 

Since the ELECTION of 2020, I hear: “They drank the KOOL-AID” meaning that people have “BOUGHT INTO” the WORTHLESS, DANGEROUS PHILOSOPHIES of HUMAN INTELLECTUALISM and EMPTY DECEIT, and BLINDLY FOLLOWING those who are pushing their IDLE FANCIES for their OWN AGENDAS which are nothing more than PLAIN NONSENSE.  “The one who speaks for himself seeks his own glory.  But He (Jesus) who seeks the glory of the One (God) who sent Him is TRUE, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” (John 7:18) This is WHY we should LEARN and FOLLOW the TEACHING or PHILOSOPHY of JESUS CHRIST.

 

Yet the TEACHINGS of JESUS CHRIST, are ROOTED in the HEART and MIND of the ALMIGHTY, OMNISCIENT, OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT, HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD of ALL CREATION.  And in the END, it is HIS PHILOSOPHY that will COUNT, not that of a mere HUMAN INTELLECT.  So, mankind SHOULD BE SEARCHING and FOLLOWING the TEACHINGS of the ONE, who will DETERMINE their ETERNITY.  “For what good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul.”  (Mark 8:36) This WORLD and its WORTHLESS PHILOSOPHIES will PASS AWAY, but the WORD of GOD is ETERNAL.  Whose teachings or philosophies are you following?  In the END there is ONLY ONE PHILOSOPHY that matters, GOD’S.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you are FOLLOWING a WORTHLESS PHILOSOPHY with EMPTY DECEIT, and your DESTINY is an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE after you are there.  You NEED to FOLLOW GOD’S PHILOSOPHY, and TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO HIM, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and FOLLOW the TEACHINGS of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and GAIN HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as your ETERNAL HOME.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.  For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.  Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”   Luke 21:34-36

 

“BE CAREFUL!”  These words are words that I am ALWAYS saying to my precious children and grandchildren. So that they will be CAUTIOUS of what is around them and what they may encounter in their day to day lives.  These are the WORDS of WARNING of Jesus to His Disciples about their ATTITUDE and CONDUCT concerning the LAST DAYS.  And it is DEFINITELY a WARNING to the TRUE BELIEVERS, today.  He tells them to BE CAREFUL that they are NOT WEIGHED DOWN with what is going on in this sinful world, don’t be ENTANGLED with the sins of carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, while a lot of BELIEVERS are TEMPTED to fall to such sins, they SHOULD BE CAREFUL and TURN AWAY FROM such activities, to include the ANXIETIES of LIFE. 

 

We live in UNCERTAIN TIMES and we should not WORRY, because WORRY is a SIN.  It shows a LACK of TRUST in OUR FATHER GOD, who IS ABLE to get EACH ONE of His Children through the PERILOUS times we will face.  Jesus tells us that our LAST DAY on this EARTH will come on us SUDDENLY like a TRAP.  This is the RAPTURE of ALL the TRUE BELIEVERS.  And this happening will affect the WHOLE EARTH.  And though the TRUE BELIEVERS can RECOGNIZE and ANTICIPATE the COMING of JESUS, by the SIGNS of the TIMES.  Some people will be so caught up in the WAYS of a SINFUL LIFE on EARTH, that they WON’T BE READY, when it happens UNEXPECTEDLY.  They are the ones that will NOT ENTER the KINGDOM of HEAVEN for ALL of ETERNITY.

 

Therefore, Jesus tells us to ALWAYS be on the WATCH, and to PRAY that we would be ABLE to ESCAPE ALL that is about to happen (the TERRIBLE TRIBULATION).  And to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  And to be ABLE to STAND REDEEMED and READY, before the SON of GOD, JESUS CHRIST, for the KINGDOM of GOD.  Are you REDEEMED and READY?  Or are you facing the TERRIBLE TRIBULATION with the SENTENCE of an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY TO ESCAPE?

 

In order to BE READY, you MUST give your HEART and LIFE to GOD.  And BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and BE CAREFUL, to NOT get ENTANGLED with the things of the WORLD, but WATCH and PRAY, be on the ALERT, the RAPTURE is on its WAY, UNEXPECTEDLY.  BE READY, by doing this NOW, while you still can!  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“The Light: Our Great Power from God”

 

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the Light of the world.  If you follow Me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the Light that leads to life.”          John 8:12

 

Jesus claimed to be the LIGHT of the World, and stated that if the people would FOLLOW Him, meaning, to BELIEVE and OBEY Him, they would NOT have to WALK or LIVE in DARKNESS, which is a symbol of SIN, WICKEDNESS, and IGNORANCE, because they would have the LIGHT that LEADS to LIFE.

 

In 2 Corinthians 4:7, the Apostle Paul tells us that when we come to Jesus for the SALVATION of our soul, we have this LIGHT shining in our HEART, and we are like a FRAGILE CLAY JAR, which contains this GREAT TREASURE, the LIGHT of the WORLD, Jesus Christ, who gives us LIFE ETERNAL, our SALVATION.  And this GREAT POWER that we now have access to, is from the ALMIGHTY GOD, not from ANYTHING we ARE or Do.  HE is our SOURCE of having the LIGHT of LIFE in a DARK world.

 

Even though, we are PRESSED on every side by TROUBLES, we are NOT CRUSHED, PREPLEXED, but NOT DRIVEN to DESPAIR, HUNTED, but NEVER ABANDONED by GOD, and we get KNOCKED DOWN, we are NOT DESTROYED, because we have the LIGHT of the WORLD, living inside of us, giving us that GREAT POWER we NEED to be a LIGHT to this DARK, DEPRAVED and DOOMED world.  (VV 8,9)

 

 And because we have this LIGHT of the WORLD living in us, by the POWER of His HOLY SPIRIT, we HAVE the HOPE of HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as our ETERNAL HOME.  Do you have the LIGHT and His GREAT POWER?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are continuing to LIVE in DARKNESS, and your DESTINY is an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  The TIME to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, is NOW.  To do that you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and STOP LIVING in the DARKNESS, but COME to the LIGHT of the WORLD, and FOLLOW HIM to an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father.  He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.  Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My Word and believes in Him Who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.     John 5:22-24

 

Jesus Christ, is NOT ONLY, SAVIOR and LORD, REDEEMER and KING OF KINGS, or ROCK and REFUGE, He is the JUDGE, who will JUDGE the World. The LOST will face JUDGEMENT for their SINS, REBELLIOUS ATTITUDE, and THEIR UNBELIEF.  They will be facing CONDEMNATION and will be SENTENCED to spend ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.  The SAVED will be JUDGED on their WORKS and the MOTIVATION for their WORKS, but NOT FOR THEIR SINS, because their SINS are FORGIVEN, and GONE, as far as the EAST is from the WEST.  And they have PASSED FROM a SPIRITUAL DEATH into a SPIRITUAL LIFE, and HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as their ETERNAL HOME. 

 

The TRUE BELIEVER, who HONORS the SON and His MESSAGE, also HONORS the FATHER GOD.  The UNBELIEVER, who REJECTS and DISHONORS the SON, also REJECTS and DISHONORS the FATHER. 

 

The two prerogatives of God for His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, are:  LIFE-GIVING POWER, and AUTHORITY to JUDGE.  Jesus has the POWER to SAVE an UNBELIEVER, who comes to Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, for their SALVATION and ETERNAL LIFE.  He also has the AUTHORITY to JUDGE both SAINT and SINNER.  He is the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE whose JUDGMENT is JUST, because He is CARRYING OUT the WILL of the ONE who sent Him, the ALMIGHTY GOD.  And the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, JESUS CHRIST is COMING SOON!!  ARE YOU READY?

 

In order to BE READY, you MUST GIVE your HEART and LIFE to GOD.  And be SAVED from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, by:  WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, Because, HERE COMES the JUDGE, READY or NOT.  SO, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Encouraging Evil”

 

They encourage each other to do evil and plan how to set their traps in secret.  “Who will ever notice?” They ask.   As they plot their crimes, they say, “We have devised the perfect plan!” Yes, the human heart and mind are cunning.      Psalm 64:5-6

 

Those of the human race, who are intent upon doing EVIL things, in order to get what they WANT, stand on DANGEROUS ground.  They PLOT, PLAN EVIL deeds to accomplish their EVIL desires.  They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim their bitter words like arrows. (V3) Their SLANDER comes like an AMBUSH, and they are CONFIDENT in their EVIL, WICKED PLANS, attacking without FEAR.

 

And then the Wicked do a VERY DESPICABLE ACT, that of ENCOURAGING each other to DO EVIL and they PLAN how to SET their traps in SECRET.  They are CONFIDENT that they WON’T get CAUGHT.  They PLOT, what they BELIEVE to be the PERFECT EVIL PLAN!  They could do their DIRTY, LITTLE, EVIL PLANS and NOT be DISCOVERED.  King David tells us:  “Yes, the HUMAN HEART and MIND are CUNNING, or DECEIVING and SHREWD. 

 

However, if you look at verse seven; it tells us that the ALMIGHTY GOD would INTERVENE and would STRIKE THEM with arrows, this is GOD’S JUDGMENT upon their WICKEDNESS, and it won’t be pretty.  David says God will STRIKE them DOWN. And their OWN tongues will ruin them.  Their OWN WORDS will come BACK on them and WILL bring their SLANDEROUS, EVIL PLANS to RUIN.  And those who see this DESTRUCTION of the WICKED people, will flee in FEAR of the ALMIGHTY GOD, and His JUDGMENT would have a LASTING EFFECT on them. 

 

However, the RIGHTEOUS will REJOICE, and RENEW their FAITH and TRUST in God, as their ROCK and their REFUGE. This will cause them to PRAISE Him and PROCLAIM is MIGHTY WORKS. 

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you may be one who is PRACTICING EVIL ACTS, and ENCOURAGING others to PARTICIPATE in those EVIL ACTS.  If this is your situation, you are DESTINED for an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  However, God has a PLAN for YOU, and that is: IF you are WILLING TO TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN to GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  And YOU MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION. THEN He will HEAR your PRAYER and will FORGIVE YOUR SINS, and GIVE you an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Trust and Hope”

 

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.     Romans 15:13

 

TRUST:  The reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, or surety of a person or thing.

HOPE:  Feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.

 

The ALMIGHTY GOD, Creator of ALL things, is the God of HOPE, we can and SHOULD TRUST in Him at ALL times.  We are living in UNCERTAIN TIMES. Times, that seem PERILOUS and FEARFUL, but we can TRUST in the GOD of HOPE, who is STILL on the THRONE, and is STILL in CONTROL of the affairs of ALL mankind.  Even though, for some, we may be FEARFUL that this could be the END of our BELOVED COUNTRY as we know it.  We could be facing some TURBULENT, PERILOUS times, times that will try our souls.  But we can put our FAITH and TRUST in the GOD of HOPE. 

 

He is the ONLY ONE who can give us JOY and PEACE for those days that might lie ahead of us.  We can LOOK AHEAD with an ELATED spirit, because we KNOW what our ETERNAL DESTINY is.  And we can LOOK AHEAD with JOY in KNOWING that ONE DAY, and it could be TODAY! We COULD be RAPTURED out of this SINFUL, CORRUPT, WICKED world, to a place that JESUS, Himself has PREPARED, for those who have given their HEART and LIFE to Him for their SALVATION.  We can have PEACE, in the FACT that we will spend ALL ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and we will be able to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  And with the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT, we can not only HAVE HOPE, but we can OVERFLOW with HOPE, for our ETERNAL FUTURE looks BRIGHT and SECURE.  How about you?  Does your ETERNAL FUTURE look BRIGHT and SECURE?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then your ETERNAL FUTURE is spending ALL ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, unless you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS, God’s Son, died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and TRUST His Hand, when times get TOUGH.  And be OVERFLOWED with HOPE for your ETERNITY.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“God’s Very Own Possession”

 

…You are a chosen people.  You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession.  As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.  “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people.  Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s Mercy.” Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls.  Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors.  Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when He Judges the world.      1Peter 2:9-12

 

The Apostle Peter was not only speaking to the Jews but also to the Gentile BELIEVERS, concerning their standing in the Christian realm.  Anybody who is not JEWISH is called a GENTILE.  And Peter was giving this message to ALL TRUE BELIEVERS, because we ALL are “CHOSEN PEOPLE,” ROYAL PRIESTS, a HOLY NATION, and MORE than that we are GOD’S OWN POSSESSION.  We were bought with the price of the PRECIOUS BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST, the RISEN LAMB, the REDEEMER of ALL mankind, and the KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS. 

 

God called us OUT of the DARKNESS of SIN and DESPAIR, and BROUGHT us into the LIGHT of His GLORIOUS LOVE, MERCY and GRACE, and He set our feet on the SOLID ROCK, who is the LORD JESUS CHRIST, His ONE and ONLY Son, who took OUR SINS to an OLD RUGGED CROSS, where HE SUFFERED, BLED and DIED, then after three days He was RAISED out of that tomb and was the VICTOR over DEATH and the GRAVE, and because of this He has given us FREEDOM from our sins and from the PENALTY of those sins.  Now, through Him we can have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.

 

Once we had NO HOPE, NO IDENTITY, but NOW, we are GOD’S PEOPLE and His POSSESSION.  Once we had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, NOW, we have RECEIVED GOD’S MERCY and GRACE.  This is WONDERFUL news for the TRUE BELIEVER.  But along with this POSITION, we MUST KEEP AWAY from WORLDLY DESIRES, which wars AGAINST our very souls.  If we LIVE PROPERLY, meaning to LIVE in the SPIRIT and NOT in the FLESH.  Then those who are UNBELIEVERS, and are watching us, may SEE our HONORABLE BEHAVIOR, and they will give honor to God when He judges the world. In other words, WE NEED to let the LOVE of GOD shine in us that OTHERS might see our GOOD WORKS and GLORIFY our HEAVENLY FATHER.

 

However, if you are an UNBELIEVER, whether you are JEW or GENTILE, and you HAVE NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, through Christ Jesus, then you are NOT HIS OWN POSSESSION, and your FUTURE is an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.    In order to become GOD’S OWN POSSESSION, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL you HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and become GOD’S VERY OWN POSSESSION, with an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Bye, Bye Power of Sin”

 

We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives.  We are no longer slaves to sin.  For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin.  And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with Him.  We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and He will never die again.  Death no longer has any power over Him.   When He died, He died once to break the power of sin.  But now that He lives, He lives for the glory of God.      Romans 6:6-10

 

SIN has POWER over mankind, but MANKIND has NO POWER over sin.  We ALL are born with a SINFUL nature.  And that SINFUL NATURE rules the HUMAN HEART.  When a person comes to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the REDEEMER of mankind, the ONLY ONE who has POWER over SIN, DEATH and the GRAVE, for the SALVATION of their soul, they MUST be WILLING to CRUCIFY their OLD, SINFUL NATURE in order to be SET FREE from the POWER of the SIN in their life.  When they come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and CONFESSES their sins to Him, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, then they will NO LONGER be SLAVES to SIN. 

 

This is possible because we die to our OLD SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and have been SET FREE from the POWER of SIN.  And since we have DIED with CHRIST, we will LIVE with HIM, for ALL ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  Our ASSURANCE is the POWER of the RESURRECTION, when Christ was raised from DEATH and the GRAVE.  HE will NEVER DIE AGAIN.   DEATH has NO POWER over HIM.  When He DIED, it was a ONE-TIME thing, and it was to BREAK the POWER of SIN.  And NOW that He LIVES, He LIVES for the GLORY of GOD.    Have you been CRUCIFIED with CHRIST?  Or Are you still under the POWER of SIN? 

 

The REPENTANT HEART is a VICTOR over the POWER of SIN, but an UNREPENTANT HEART is the LOSER and REMAINS that way throughout ETERNITY.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you are the LOSER, and your DESTINY in an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  In order to become a VICTOR over the POWER of SIN, you MUST WILLINGLY TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and be able to say; “BYE, BYE POWER of SIN!” and HELLO, to an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!
