"Today!"

“Today!”

So, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness.”     Hebrews 3:7, 8

That is why I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known My ways.”  So I declared on oath in My anger, ‘They shall NEVER enter My rest.’”       Hebrews 3:10, 11



We live in a world that is RIDDLED with REBELLION, HATRED, and UNBELIEF.  God has spoken, through His Word, about the CONSEQUENCES of living in REBELLION, HATRED, and UNBELIEF.  I believe that these passages of Scripture, in the third chapter of the book of Hebrews, gives us a pretty clear picture of God’s feelings on this type of lifestyle and its outcome, as spoken of by His HOLY SPIRIT.



If you are REBELLING, against God, and you are harboring HATRED in your HEART, and are living in UNBELIEF, you are in DANGER of spending your ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  So, the HOLY SPIRIT is giving you a WARNING:  TODAY, IF you HEAR His VOICE, do NOT HARDEN your HEARTS!! 



REBELLION, HATRED and UNBELIEF, are some of things that ANGER the ALMIGHTY God.  And those things LEAD to other WICKED ways.  The Spirit says that those who practice these things, are ALWAYS going ASTRAY, and they do NOT KNOW the Ways of God, nor do they want to, in MOST cases.  So, in His ANGER, and on His OATH, God has DECLARED: “They shall NEVER enter My REST.”



Those who have given their HEARTS and LIVES to God, should MAKE SURE they do NOT POSSESS a SINFUL, UNBELIEVING HEART that REBELS or TURNS AWAY FROM the LIVING GOD.  Instead, they should ENCOURAGE one another DAILY, as long as it is called “TODAY,” and this will HELP them to NOT participate in the REBELLION, HATRED and UNBELIEF, and so their HEARTS will NOT be HARDENED by sin’s deceitfulness. 



If you are living a lifestyle that is characterized by: REBELLION, HATRED, and UNBELIEF, and you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, you NEED to HEED the SPIRIT’S WARNING to TURN AWAY FROM YOUR sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT God’s gift of SALVATION, and spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and because, TODAY, is your DAY of SALVATION.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Wrath or Blessing?"

“Wrath or Blessing?”

Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath may soon be kindled.  How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!      Psalm 2:12



This verse could be called a MESSIANIC VERSE of Scripture, because it refers to the MESSIAH, the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s ONE and ONLY Son, who SUFFERED, BLED, and DIED in order to SAVE the WORLD from their SINS.  He IS the KING of KINGS and the LORD of LORDS.  So, the Psalmist is saying that we SHOULD PAY HOMAGE, or REVERANCE Him.  Because He IS the Son of the LIVING GOD, and He IS WORTHY of that HOMAGE. 



If you REJECT His gift of SALVATION, in essence, you are REJECTING the ALMIGHTY GOD, and this REJECTION will make the Lord ANGRY and His WRATH will FALL on the UNJUST, UNHOLY, REBELLIOUS people, those who DENY Him and His AUTHORITY.  And they will PERISH to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, on JUDGEMENT DAY.  Will you be one of those who will receive the WRATH of God?


However, for those who are TRUE BELIEVERS, those who have TOTALLY GIVEN their HEARTS and LIVES to God, they will be BLESSED by GOD, because they have TRUSTED in His Son for the SALVATION of their SOULS.  And they will receive HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as their ETERNAL HOME.  In order to ESCAPE God’s WRATH, and HELL, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  And ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and receive God’s BLESSINGS, and SPEND your ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!

"Seek the Lord!"

“Seek the Lord!”

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.   Jeremiah 29:13

Seek the LORD while He may be found; call to Him while He is near.    Isaiah 55:6



To me this word SEEK, means to LOOK DILIGENTLY for something or someone, and then it says: “With ALL your HEART,” that means to LOOK DILIGENTLY, with EVERY PART of your being, until you FIND IT.  And that was what God told Jeremiah, “you will SEEK Me and FIND ME when you SEARCH for Me with ALL your HEART.” 



To me, this is what I think is “SOUL-SEARCHING” when you search for the LORD with ALL your being.  For the TRUE BELIEVER, it is a time when we desire to grow CLOSER, and we SEEK a MORE INTIMATE, CLOSER relationship with God.  And when we NEED to do some CLEANING -UP of our souls, and times when we SEEK answers to our prayers, or when we are in DESPAIR, those are the times when we SHOULD SEEK the very FACE of our LORD GOD. 



Isaiah, tells us that we SHOULD; “SEEK the LORD while He may be found;” This means that God will NOT always offer His invitation to SALVATION for mankind.  In Genesis 6:3 it says: “Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall NOT strive with man forever.”  So, there is a DEADLINE for mankind to be able to approach the LORD for their SALVATION.  In other words, God will deal with mankind, for a certain length of time, and when that time comes, there will be NO MORE opportunity for that lost person to come to God for their SALVATION.  Isaiah goes on to say that you should CALL to GOD, while He is NEAR. 



So, if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, do it TODAY, RIGHT NOW, because this may be your DEADLINE.  SEEK the LORD while He may be found.”  To do that you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS. And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  SEEK HIM NOW! "The Righteous"

“The Righteous”

Little children, let no one deceive you!  The one who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous.  The one who commits sin is of the Devil, for the Devil has sinned from the beginning.  The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the Devil’s works.     1 John 3:7-8

God presented Him to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be righteous and declare righteous the one who has faith in Jesus.      Romans 3:26



The word RIGHTEOUS, means: Morally right or justifiable, virtuous.  Have you ever considered yourself to be RIGHTEOUS?  Well, according to God’s Word, He considers those who are His TRUE CHILDREN or the TRUE BELIEVERS, to be RIGHTEOUS. 



In 1 John, we are warned to NOT let anyone DECEIVE us. Now, keep in mind, that the Devil is the GREAT DECEIVER.  And we are told that; the one who does what is RIGHT IS RIGHTEOUS, just as JESUS is RIGHTEOUS.  RIGHTEOUSNESS can only come from one who possess a RIGHTEOUS NATURE.  And that one, can ONLY possess RIGHTEOUSNESS through the ATONING WORK of God’s Only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. 



On the other hand, the one who is NOT a TRUE CHILD of the LIVING GOD, cannot possess RIGHTEOUSNESS, because they are UNGODLY, and they possess that SINFUL nature, that is prompted by Satan, ALL SIN is SATANIC in nature.  Sin originated with Satan, and to participate in SIN, is taking part in his EVIL, WICKED works.  Jesus Christ was REVEALED in order to DESTROY the Devil’s works.  And JESUS is the ONLY WAY for one to NOT only be FORGIVEN of their sins, and to become RIGHTEOUS, but also to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL.



The HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD of ALL CREATION, presented Jesus to DEMONSTRATE His RIGHTEOUSNESS, and at the SAME TIME, demonstrate His GRACE, LOVE and MERCY for a REBELLIOUS, UNGODLY, UNRIGHTEOUS, PEOPLE, and to bring them into a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Himself.  This is ONLY POSSIBLE through the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE of His Son, Jesus, by the SHEDDING of His PRECIOUS LIFE’S BLOOD, on an old rugged cross.  And because that SIN DEBT was PAID in FULL, it enables the one who has FAITH in JESUS to be JUSTIFIED and declared RIGHTEOUS.   Have you been JUSTIFIED?  And are you declared RIGHTEOUS, by the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE?



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, you are NOT RIGHTEOUS, but are UNGODLY, and UNRIGHTEOUS, and doing the WORKS of the Devil.  And you are headed for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you’re there.  In order to be declared RIGHTEOUS, and to ESCAPE HELL, and GAIN HEAVEN, with all its BLESSINGS, you MUST WILLINGLY TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before GOD.  And ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be DECLARED RIGHTEOUS, before the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS JUDGE.   Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"More Than Victorious"

“More Than Victorious”

…In ALL these things we are MORE than victorious through Him who LOVED us.    Romans 8:37

Because whatever has been born of God conquers the world.  This is the victory that has conquered the world:  Our FAITH.  And who is the one who conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?     1 John 5:4-5



I know sometimes, even the TRUE BELIEVER has moments where their FAITH is not as STRONG as it SHOULD be, however, when they realize this, they NEED to scrutinize the content of their HEART, and see what the reasoning is that is causing their FAITH to falter.   Then take the NECESSARY measures to STRENGTHEN their FAITH.  Most of the time it is their LACK of having MORE of a CLOSER, INTIMATE relationship with GOD.   And when this happens, they become vulnerable to the attacks of the devil, and his despicable ways.  And then they feel DEFEATED.



But God’s Word tells us:  that those, whose FAITH is STRONG, are MORE than VICTORIOUS, because of God’s LOVE, proven by the SACRIFICE of His Son the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Their FAITH in Christ, affirms that they are CONQUEROR’S of the World, they do NOT have to be HELD by the World’s SINFUL grasp, but they can PROCLAIM the VICTORY, which is their FAITH. Can you PROCLAIM the VICTORY?  Are you MORE than VICTORIOUS?



Your RELATIONSHIP with God is what will DETERMINE if you are MORE than VICTORIOUS, or if you are a LOSER, headed for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  You can have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God, through ACCEPTING His SON, the LORD JESUS, as your SAVIOR and LORD.   And by WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.   And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be MORE than VICTORIOUS, because of your STRONG FAITH and a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God.  And spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Watch and Pray!"

“Watch and Pray!”

“Be ALWAYS on the WATCH, and PRAY that you may be able to ESCAPE all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”     Luke 21:36



These are the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving His followers or disciples instructions concerning the END TIMES.   Mankind is living in times of anxiousness, uncertainties, and unusual happenings.  We wonder what the OUTCOME will be.  Well, for the TRUE BELIEVER, it is a time of SPIRITUAL AWAKENINGS.  The Lord Jesus tells them to ALWAYS WATCH and PRAY.  They SHOULD NOT WORRY or FRET about anything that is happening.  But they SHOULD BE AWARE, and WATCH and PRAY that they are READY to ESCAPE ALL the HORRORS that will take place after the RAPTURE of His Church, which is the TRUE BELIEVERS. 



Sometimes, we are so caught up with the things of this world and the affairs of our lives that we FORGET about our SPIRITUAL LIFE.  And some may even get into worldly things that might hinder their relationship with God.  Then they would NOT be READY to face the Son of Man, with HONOR and DIGNITY, but instead they would face Him with DISHONOR, EMBARRASSMENT, and ASHAMEDNESS.  Therefore, they SHOULD PRAY that they would BE READY for this CLIMATIC EVENT, which will be UNEXPECTED and UNIVERSAL.



Are you READY?  He COULD come at ANY TIME, and if you want to ESCAPE ALL that is ABOUT to HAPPEN, you MUST BE READY!  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you are NOT READY.  And you will FACE the HORRORS of the TRIBULATION, and will spend your ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you’re there.  However, God in His INFINITE MERCY and AMAZING GRACE, is offering you the OPPORTUNITY NOW, to ESCAPE the coming TRIBULATION and an ETERNITY in HELL, if you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and BE on GUARD, WATCH and PRAY that you are READY for JESUS to come, and it COULD BE TODAY!!  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Rejecting or Believing?"

“Rejecting or Believing?”

There is a Judge for the one who rejects Me and does not accept My Words; the very Words I have spoken will condemn them at the Last Day.      John 12:48

For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.     John 3:16



Mankind is faced with TWO SPIRITUAL PATHS that will determine their ETERNAL DESTINY.  They MUST CHOOSE one of the two, which means they will REJECT the other.  It is of the utmost importance that they CHOOSE WISELY, as their decision will SEAL their ETERNAL DESTINY. 



First, let’s look at the PATH of REJECTING God’s gift of SALVATION and REJECTING His SON, as SAVIOR and LORD.  And REJECTING the Word of God, and SPOUTING it as FABLES, MYTHS and FAIRY TALES. The One who will JUDGE is the ALMIGHTY God, Himself, this will take place on the LAST DAY and God’s WRATH will come upon them.  John 3:36b says: “Whoever REJECTS the Son will NOT see LIFE, for God’s WRATH remains on them.” And their sentence will be an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY of ESCAPING, once you are there.  CHOOSE WISELY!



Now, let’s look at the PATH of BELIEVING.  The first part of verse thirty-six says: “Whoever BELIEVES in the SON has ETERNAL LIFE.” John 3:16, says:  For God SO LOVED the WORLD that He GAVE His ONE and ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS, that WHOEVER BELIEVES in Him shall NOT perish but have ETERNAL LIFE.”  This ETERNAL DESTINY for the TRUE BELIEVER, will be in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Whoever BELIEVES and ACCEPTS Christ Jesus, as their SAVIOR and LORD, is NOT CONDEMNED, but is SAVED from the ALMIGHTY GOD’S CONDEMNATION and WRATH.  So, CHOOSE WISELY!  Your ETERNAL DESTINY depends on it!



Are you REJECTING or BELIEVING God’s Word?  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you have been REJECTING Him and His Word, and you are in a DANGEROUS situation of standing before God, and hearing Him SENTENCE you to ALL ETERNITY in HELL, because of your REJECTION and UNBELIEF.  It’s NOT too late to make the WISE CHOICE of ACCEPTING GOD’S Gift of SALVATION.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and STOP!!! REJECTING and START!!! BELIEVING in GOD’S Word and TRUSTING in His SON, JESUS for your ETERNAL DESTINY.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Power and Fullness"

I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge---that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.     Ephesians 3:16-19



The Apostle Paul seemed to have had a real concern for the SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING of Christians.  These verses are part of a PRAYER that Paul prayed, for the Christian believers in Ephesus.  And they are VERY MUCH applicable for the TRUE BELIEVER of today.  Paul says, that it is his desire that God, out of His GLORIOUS RICHES, may STRENGTHEN the BELIEVER with POWER from His Spirit to their INNER BEING, in order for Jesus Christ to dwell in their HEARTS through FAITH.   To STRENGTHEN means to be STRONG enough to be ABLE to OVERCOME opposition and to do it with POWER, LIVING POWER, through the HOLY SPIRIT, which indwells their INNER BEING or the INNER MAN.



This means that Jesus indwells the TRUE BELIEVER, through the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT of God.  And it means that Jesus is the CENTER of a believer’s life.  And it is the believer’s place to allow Christ to be the RULING or CONTROLLING factor in their ATTITUDES and their BEHAVIOR.  This is carried out through FAITH, and the outcome is that the TRUE BELIEVER is ROOTED and GROUNDED in LOVE.  And that they would have POWER to be ABLE to COMPREHEND the IMMENSITY of the LOVE of Christ.  To do that one MUST KNOW it through EXPERIENCING it.  The DEEPER one’s relationship with Jesus, the MORE AMAZED they are about His LOVE for them.  Thus, when this happens, they can be FILLED to the MEASURE of ALL the FULLNESS of God.  This takes WORK and DEDICATION, but it is WORTH it ALL.   Have you EXPERIENCED the FULL WIDTH, LENGTH, HEIGHTH, and DEPTH of the LOVE of God, which is exemplified through His SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST?   Are you EXPERIENCING GOD’S POWER in your life?  Are you FILLED with the FULLNESS of God?



In order to EXPERIENCE God’s POWER and His FULLNESS, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let Him work in you, with His POWER and the FULLNESS of His SPIRIT.  OH, YEAH, and spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  And ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"The Mandate for the TRUE BELIEVER"

“The Mandate for the TRUE BELIEVER”

For, whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.  They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.  For the Eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”     1 Peter 3:10-12



This mandate for God’s Children, the TRUE BELIEVERS, is pretty clear as to how they are to conduct themselves, if they LOVE LIFE, and want to see GOOD days.  They MUST FOLLOW these guidelines, in order to experience the ABUNDANT LIFE, which God wants for His Children. 



They MUST KEEP their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.  I think Job said it right: “As long as God gives me breath, my lips will NEVER say anything evil, my tongue will NEVER tell a lie.”  (Job 27:3-4) The UNBRIDLED TONGUE can spread evil through our whole being. It is evil and uncontrollable, full of deadly poison.  (James 3:8).  The answer to this problem is:  CALLING on God to STOP our tongues from EVIL and DECEITFUL SPEECH.  ONLY HE can TAME the tongue. 



They MUST TURN AWAY FROM EVIL, and TEMPTATIONS, which are detrimental to our LIVES, and definitely to our TESTIMONY as God’s Children.  They MUST DO GOOD, SEEK PEACE and PURSUE IT, GO AFTER IT.  They SHOULD have a real disdain for SIN and a LOVE for RIGHTEOUSNESS and be in PURSUIT of PEACE.  And to PRACTICE or LIVE according to GOD’S WORD.  RECEIVING His PROTECTION and His BLESSINGS, because of their desire to LIVE by His MANDATE for them. 



However, if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, you are EVIL in His sight and His EAR is NOT attentive to your prayers.  Unless, you are FIRST, PRAYING for the REDEMPTION of your SOUL, your SALVATION.  In Psalm 66:18 we are told: “If I had ignored my sins, the Lord would NOT have listened to me.” In order to receive God’s attention, you MUST WILLINGLY TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and BECOME a TRUE BELIEVER, and FOLLOW GOD’S MANDATE, and receive HEAVEN as your ETERNAL HOME.  Do this NOW, while you still can.   He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

Christ, who Himself, bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness---by whose stripes you were healed.  For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.      1 Peter 2:24-25

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.   1 Peter 3:18



When I read these verses of Scripture, I can VIVIDLY see the LOVE of God PERSONFIED through the SUBSTITUTIONAL SACRIFICE for the sins of ALL mankind.   We see that Jesus Christ, Himself, bore OUR SINS in His OWN BODY, The One who knew NO SIN, became SIN for YOU and ME. He did this on the Cross of Calvary.  So that we might be able to LIVE to RIGHTEOUSNESS. 



This is made POSSIBLE by the SPIRITUAL HEALING of our SIN-SICK SOULS.  And it is carried out through the MERCILESS BEATING of the Lord Jesus Christ.  This is NOT a PHYSICAL HEALING, but it is an ACCOMPLISHED ACT.  And it is for the SOULS of ALL MANKIND, that they might DIE to their sins and LIVE to RIGHTEOUSNESS.  This HEALING will FREE them from the POWER and PENALITY that sin has over the LOST SOUL. 



Christ Jesus is the GUIDE and PROTECTOR of our souls, when we come to Him for our SALVATION.  This is the case for those who were like sheep and going astray, those who may have had an ENCOUNTER with Him, but decided to go their OWN way, and do their OWN thing. Then they REALIZED the TRUTH and RETURNED to Him for their SALVATION. 



Christ SUFFERED and DIED ONCE for ALL sins, the JUST (Christ) for the UNJUST (Fallen Mankind).  He did this in order to bring MANKIND into a RIGHTEOUS RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD.  And like Him, He was PUT to DEATH in the BODY (flesh) BUT was MADE ALIVE in the SPIRIT (Resurrected). We too, are PUT to DEATH in our BODIES, and MADE ALIVE in the SPIRIT, when we are SAVED FROM our SINS.   Have you been SPIRITUALLY HEALED and MADE ALIVE in the SPIRIT?



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are SIN-SICK and SPIRITUALLY DEAD.  But God in His INIFINITE MERCY and AMAZING GRACE is OFFERING you SPIRITUAL HEALING and ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, by: YOU WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  AND BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT God’s gift of SALVATION, and be SPIRITUALLY HEALED and MADE ALIVE.  Do this NOW, while you still can.   He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“The Chief Cornerstone Becomes A Stumbling Block”

For this is contained in Scripture: “Behold, I lay in Zion a CHOICE STONE, a PRECIOUS CORNERSTONE, and, he who BELIEVES in Him will NOT be DISAPPOINTED.”  This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve,  “The STONE which the builders REJECTED, this became the VERY CORNERSTONE,” and, A STONE of STUMBLING and a ROCK of OFFENSE”; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the Word, and to this DOOM they were appointed.       1 Peter 2:6-8



Cornerstone:   The chief foundation on which something is constructed or developed.

Stumbling Block:  An obstacle or hindrance to progress, belief, or understanding.



I am not a builder or a contractor, but this much I know; you MUST have a FIRM FOUNDATION, to build upon.  The Word of God, tells us that God has laid in Zion, a CHOICE stone, A PRECIOUS CORNERSTONE.  And upon this CORNERSTONE God will build His Church.  Which consists of LIVING STONES, these are the TRUE BELIEVERS, and the CHIEF CORNERSTONE is the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  These LIVING STONES will be placed upon the CORNERSTONE, which is the BEDROCK of FAITH for those who are LIVING STONES.  



But, for those who are UNBELIEVERS, who have REJECTED the CHIEF CORNERSTONE, the Lord Jesus Christ, as their SAVIOR and LORD, the CORNERSTONE becomes a STUMBLING BLOCK, and a ROCK of OFFENSE, the feeling of RESENTFUL DISPLEASURE.  This is the case for the UNBELIEVER, because they are DISOBEDIENT to God and His Word.  They LIVE in DISBLIEF and the CHIEF CORNERSTONE brings them RESENTFUL DISPLEASURE, mainly because of the GUILT and CONVICTION they experience, whenever they are exposed to His HOLY, RIGHTEOUS PRESENCE by way of the WORK of His HOLY SPIRIT, which brings LIGHT into the DARK RECESSES of their HEARTS.   If they do NOT RESPOND to the LIGHT, but continue to REJECT it, they are DOOMED to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPING, after they are there. 



If you have NOT TRULY GIVEN your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then that is your DESTINY.  However, God is giving you the OPPORTUNITY NOW to change your DESTINY by:  Willingly TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS. BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become a LIVING STONE, placed on the CHIEF CORNERSTONE, and become a part of the BLOOD-WASHED CHURCH of the LIVING GOD, with an ETERNAL HOME in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?  Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?  Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols?  For we are the temple of the Living God.     2 Corinthians 6:14-15a



When a person becomes a TRUE BELIEVER, a Child of the Living God, they MUST follow certain guidelines in order to have and to MAINTAIN a RIGHTEOUS RELATIONSHIP with the RIGHTEOUS, HOLY, GOD of the Universe.  In other words, they MUST be WILLING to CUT ties with their OLD lifestyle, and to EMBRACE their NEW lifestyle.  They MUST NOT be BOUND together with UNBELIEVERS, who are LAWLESS to the Laws of God.  It doesn’t mean that the TRUE BELIEVER should have NO CONTACT with the UNBELIEVER, but they should not enter into marriages, business partnerships, or participate in socializing with them. 



RIGHTEOUSNESS and LAWLESSNESS, cannot be BOUND together.  The Apostle Paul gives us some examples of this:  LIGHT and DARKNESS cannot FELLOWSHIP together.  There is NO HARMONY between Christ and Belial, (the Lawless One, Satan).  And what does a TRUE BELIEVER have in COMMON with an UNBELIEVER?  The TRUE BELIEVER needs to have a PURE, SINCERE, DEVOTED relationship with Jesus Christ.  And be SEPARATED FROM their OLD, SINFUL lifestyle and to EMBRACE their NEW RIGHTEOUS lifestyle and to be SEPARATED TO GOD. 



Paul says, “For we are the temple of the LIVING GOD.”  And because we are the TEMPLE of God, the place where His HOLY SPIRIT dwells, we should take inventory of our PERSONAL HOLINESS.  Are we LIVING by His SPIRIT or are we COMPROMISING and incorporating some of our OLD, SINFUL WAYS into our NEW lifestyle?  It won’t work.  This is what God said: “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; and I WILL BE THEIR GOD, and THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.  Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST and BE SEPARATE, and DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; and I will welcome you.  And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me.”  So, if you want to have a CLOSE, LOVING, SECURE, relationship with the ALMIGHTY GOD, you MUST be SEPARATED to HIM, and the ONLY WAY to do that is through the SHED BLOOD of the Lord Jesus Christ.  



This is what you MUST DO, if you have never given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you MUST be willing to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and be SEPARATED FROM your OLD SINFUL WAYS and be SEPARATED TO GOD and HIS WAYS.  And look FORWARD to spending ALL of ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!  You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and every impurity.  In the same way, on the outside you seem righteous to people, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.”     Matthew 23:27-28



These were the Words of the Lord Jesus to the scribes and Pharisees, the religious leaders of the times, and His denouncement of them and their HYPOCRITICAL lifestyles.  They didn’t practice what they taught.  In other words, they had the “Do what I say, and NOT what I do” attitude.  On the OUTSIDE they acted RIGHTEOUS and HOLY, but on the INSIDE, they were like whitewashed tombs, which appear BEAUTIFUL on the OUTSIDE, but are FULL of bones and EVERY IMPURITY on the INSIDE.  Jesus, told His disciples to “do whatever the scribes and Pharisees tell you and observe it. BUT don’t do what they do, because they don’t practice what they teach.”

Now, it’s self-examination time, are you living a HYPOCRITICAL lifestyle?  As a TRUE BELIEVER, our WALK MUST match our TALK.  Whatever we proclaim as the TRUTH, needs to be the MANDATE that rules our HEART and our BEHAVIOR.  Whatever is INSIDE us MUST be REFLECTED in our WORKS.  If we are LIVING by the Spirit of the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS God, then we will PRACTICE what we PREACH or PROCLAIM.  However, if one PROFESSES to be RIGHTEOUS or a TRUE BELIEVER, yet, does NOT live by their proclamation, they may PROFESS it, but NOT POSSESS it.  Thus, they are like the scribes and Pharisees, they are FULL of HYPOCRISY, and should CHECK-OUT their RELATIONSHIP with the Lord Jesus Christ.



It’s a little bit different with the UNBELIEVER, or those who KEEP REJECTING, Jesus as their SAVIOR and LORD.  They, MORE than NOT, will not PROFESS a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus, mainly because they DON’T POSSESS it.  Some will put on an ACT, when around Christians, do to the fact, that they don’t want to be confronted with having to make a choice.  They think they are ok just where they are.  But let me tell you, if you have NOT TRULY given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are DESTINED to spend ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE. In order to CHANGE your DESTINY, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS, died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and start LIVING on the OUTSIDE, what you POSSESS on the INSIDE, and receive an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS as your DESTINY.   Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“Enter by the narrow gate.  For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.  For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”     Matthew 7:13-14



I believe that when we are born, we ALL begin on the SAME path, because we ALL are born with a SINFUL nature, meaning that we have the tendencies, and we develop the desires to SIN.  But I also believe that when God created mankind, He gave us the ability to make CHOICES.  When we are to the point, in our life, where we KNOW right from wrong, we are given the CHOICE to decide whether we will go through the NARROW GATE and follow the NARROW PATH or take the WIDE GATE and the EASY PATH, which leads to DESTRUCTION.  Let’s take a little look at the differences in the NARROW GATE and the WIDE GATE.  And you decide which one you want to take.



Our Scripture, today, are the Words of our Lord Jesus Christ, as He was ending His Sermon on the Mount of Olives.  He gives us a CLEAR and DISTINCT picture of the two gates and paths, which we must choose from.  MANY will choose to take the WIDE GATE and the EASY PATH, this gate and path, we are told, leads to DESTRUCTION, and MANY will enter through it.  The WIDE gate and path choice, includes those religions that teach that there are MANY ways to enter Heaven, such as good works and self-righteousness.   However, the Lord Jesus tells us that it LEADS to DESTRUCTION, which is an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there. 



But the NARROW GATE, and HARD PATH, leads to ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and FEW are the ones who find it.  These are those who, choose to  BELIEVE and have GIVEN their HEART and LIFE to God, through the SHED BLOOD of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, their ONLY HOPE for HEAVEN.  The PATH is HARD, it calls for TOTAL SURRENDER, COMPLETE REPENTANCE, a KNOWLEDGE of the WORD of GOD, and OBEDIENCE to the WILL and WORD of the LORD JESUS.  SALVATION is by GRACE, NOT by WORKS.  Your GOOD WORKS comes through you LIVING by FAITH, and NOT through the desires of the FLESH. Which GATE and PATH have you chosen?



In order for you to spend your ETERNITY in Heaven, you MUST GIVE your HEART and LIFE to God by:  WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then CHOOSE the NARROW GATE and the HARD PATH, to an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN. “Today, and All Your Tomorrows”

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the Living God.  But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.     Hebrews 3:12-13



We live in UNCERTAIN, PERILOUS times, and if there is ONE thing we NEED, it’s ENCOURAGEMENT.  The writer of Hebrews, whom I believe to be the Apostle Paul, gives ALL of us words of WISDOM, which we should DEFINITELY take to HEART.  The words in our Scripture, today, are words that gives us INSTRUCTION as how the TRUE BELIEVER should LIVE and MINISTER to others, in these DANGEROUS times.



First, he tells us to be AWARE of the CONDITION of our HEART.  We are to take great pains to make SURE that we DO NOT have a SINFUL, UNBELIEVING HEART, which is REBELLIOUS to the LIVING GOD.  Satan is the great deceiver, and he makes EVERYTHING that is SINFUL, WICKED, and EVIL seem ENJOYABLE, PLEASANT, and HELPFUL to you.  When you are a TRUE BELIEVER, he works overtime, trying to PULL you AWAY from GOD, and into LIVING by the FLESH, and being LED by your FLESHLY DESIRES.  This can cause a TRUE BELIEVER, to be DEPRESSED, ANGRY, GUILTY and DISCONNECTED from GOD and His RIGHTEOUSNESS.  The writer of Hebrews, WARNS US to NOT let this happen, so that your HEART is NOT HARDENED by SIN’S DECEITFULNESS.



Then, he tells us that we SHOULD ENCOURAGE each other DAILY, as long as it is called  “TODAY,” now, ALL of our TOMORROWS, will become our TODAYS, so our mandate is that when we come together we SHOULD ENCOURAGE each other, LOVE each other, and PRAY for each other DAILY.  When we carry out this mandate, we cut-out the process of having our HEARTS HARDENED by SIN’S DECEITFULNESS.  And it puts the SKIDS to Satan’s diabolical schemes. 



If you are NOT a TRUE CHILD of the LIVING GOD, you are already LIVING by the FLESH, and are being LED by the devil, Satan, ALL the way to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE after you’re there.  And you may have a HARD time, ENCOURAGING others DAILY, because you live with a lot of DISENCOURAGEMENT, yourself.  But, the ONE and ONLY LIVING GOD, has a RESCUE PLAN for you, and that SHOULD bring you some ENCOURAGEMENT, which you could ENCOURAGE someone else with.  God with His INFINITE MERCY, and His AMAZING GRACE, wants you to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL and GAIN HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  This is what you MUST do:  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS, God’s ONLY SON, died for YOU, in order for you to ESCAPE HELL, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and DO NOT HARDEN your HEART against God, but be ENCOURAGED and receive an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, and ENCOURAGE others with this DAILY.   Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“It is like a man on a journey, who left his house, gave authority to his slaves, gave each one his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to be alert.  Therefore, be alert, since you don’t know when the master of the house is coming---whether in the evening or at midnight or at the crowing of the rooster or early in the morning.  Otherwise, he might come suddenly and find you sleeping.  And what I say to you, I say to everyone:  BE ALERT!”     Mark 13:34-37





The signs of the times, are giving the TRUE BELIEVERS an air of EXCITEMENT, if you are a DISCERNER of the times, and are familiar with how the Scriptures describe the LAST DAYS, you realize that TIME is growing very short for our DEPARTURE.  Let’s look at 2 Thessalonians 2:7, it says: “For the mystery of LAWLESSNESS is already at work, but the one now restraining will do so until he is out of the way.”  If you read verses 1-6, the Apostle Paul says: “Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him” …. (rapture) Then Paul describes what will take place prior to this event.  So, I believe that we are experiencing this escalation of LAWLESSNESS as a facet of the LAST DAYS.  Even though we DON’T KNOW the DAY nor the HOUR of the RETURN of JESUS to GATHER His Church, we can sure be DISCERNERS of the times. 



Our Scripture, in Mark, today, is a PARABLE, which the Lord Jesus told concerning the DAY and HOUR of His RETURN, and what He expects of His TRUE BELIEVERS, those who are a part of His household, until He returns.  He says:  That this Man, gave AUTHORITY to his slaves, by giving each one his WORK to do and COMMANDED the DOORKEEPER to be ALERT.  I believe that the SLAVES are the TRUE BELIEVERS, and the DOORKEEPER could possibly be the PASTORS, and that the WHOLE HOUSEHOLD should be on ALERT!  The MESSAGE here, I believe is BE ALERT! and WORK for the NIGHT is coming, when no one will work.  The WORK of the TRUE BELIEVERS will end.  Are YOU being ALERT and WORKING for the LORD?  Because, READY or NOT He’s coming and we DON’T KNOW WHEN.  It could be TODAY!  And you NEED to be READY.



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you will be LEFT BEHIND, when He comes.  And you will be HEADED for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you’re there.  In order to be READY, you NEED to be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Confess your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and BE ALERT! WORKING for the MASTER, and BE READY for your DEPARTURE.   Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

That is why we always pray for you.  We ask our God to make you worthy of the life He has called you to live.  May He fulfill, by His power, all your desire for goodness and complete your work of faith.  In this way the Name of our Lord Jesus will receive glory from you, and you from Him, by the grace of our God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.     2 Thessalonians 1:11-12



When a person becomes a TRUE BELIEVER, they are required to LIVE by the SPIRIT, which indwells them, and NOT by the FLESH, which brings SPIRITUAL DEATH, or SEPARATION from the Almighty God.  The UNBELIEVER, those whose minds are set on the things of the flesh, will suffer ETERNAL DESTRUCTION, not ANNIHILATION, they will SUFFER being SEPARATED from the presence of the LORD and from His glorious might. (v9)



However, for the TRUE BELIEVER, those who have given their HEARTS and LIVES to God, and are striving to LIVE by the SPIRIT, they will receive REST and RELIEF from their sufferings, and they will have the privilege of SHARING in the GLORY of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, when the DAY of the Lord arrives.  So, the Apostle Paul encourages the TRUE BELIEVERS to LIVE according to the HOLY SPIRIT of the LIVING GOD, and to act in ways that are consistent with their RELATIONSHIP to CHRIST JESUS.  In other words, they should BE WORTHY of their CALLING as GOD’S OWN CHILDREN.  Their CALLING to SALVATION and to ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, their WORTHINESS is LIVING by the SPIRIT of GOD and being OBEDIENT to Him, and doing GOOD WORKS because of their FAITH in their REDEEMER, JESUS CHRIST.



If you are an UNBELIEVER, one who has NOT given their HEART and LIFE to God, then you are NOT WORTHY of SALVATION. Instead, you are an ENEMY of GOD, and you are facing an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPING, after you’re there. God, in His INFINITE MERCY and AMAZING GRACE, is offering you the OPPORTUNITY NOW to WILLINGLY TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and to TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  LISTEN!!! Time is running out.  And you MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and start LIVING by the Holy Spirit, instead of the flesh, and be WORTHY of your CALLING, and spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS. Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

 

"Ask God"

Do all this in prayer, asking for God’s help.  Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads.  For this reason, keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God’s people.      Ephesians 6:18



So many times, we face adversities and life’s challenges all ALONE, because we don’t take the time or initiative to ASK GOD for His HELP.  The Apostle Paul, tells the Christians in Ephesus, to do certain things to be able to STAND UP against the Devil’s evil tricks, and that is to PREPARE yourself with the WHOLE ARMOR of GOD.  (v 11)



We should begin by: STANDING READY, with TRUTH as a BELT, RIGHTEOUSNESS as our BREASTPLATE, and SHOES as READINESS to announce the GOOD NEWS, and FAITH as a SHIELD for with it you will be able to put out ALL the burning arrows of the DEVIL.  Then ACCEPT SALVATION as a HELMET, and the WORD of GOD as the SWORD, which the SPIRIT of GOD gives you.  (vv 14-17)



But you will not be READY until you PRAY, ASKING for GOD’S HELP.  As His Children, we SHOULD PRAY DAILY, and on EVERY OCCASION, as the SPIRIT leads us.  If that DASTARDLY DEVIL can keep you from talking to FATHER GOD, then he’s succeeded in WEAKENING your TRUST in GOD’S POWER to HELP you, and that will give the evil one the opportunity to KNOCK you off your feet, and you will NOT be able to STAND UP AGAINST the Devil’s evil tricks.  For this reason, KEEP ALERT and NEVER, NEVER, GIVE UP!!!  REMEMBER to ALWAYS PRAY for ALL of GOD’S people.  If that were the case ALL of God’s People would be PRAYED for, many times over.   What a MIGHTY ARMY that would be for our ALMIGHTY GOD!



However, if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are controlled by the devil, and you are the enemy of God.  And your fate is an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  But God is READY to HELP you if you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And let Him RESCUE you from the DEVIL’S CLUTCHES.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  And put on the WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD, NOW! So that you can RESIST the Devil, and his attacks, and HOLD your GROUND, and you will be able to gain HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as your ETERNAL HOME.  ALL you NEED to do is to ASK GOD!  Do it NOW, while you still can.   He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“Sacrifice and Trust”

Offer sacrifices in righteousness and trust in the LORD.     Psalm 4:5



We need, from the get-go, to REMEMBER that the Lord God, Almighty, has chosen the RIGHTEOUS FAITHFUL for Himself, and His ear is turned to their voice, and He hears them and will act, ACCORDING to His will.  The Psalmist says: “Be angry and do NOT SIN;” meaning to TREMBLE or SHAKE in fear of the LORD, and STOP sinning or REBELING against Him.  And go to bed, and REFLECT in your HEART, with a STILL, QUIET spirit, meditate DEEPLY on this.



Then offer the RIGHT SACRIFICES to the LORD, and TRUST in HIM.  The sacrifices we should offer is that of OURSELVES.  We are to TOTALLY SURRENDER our ENTIRE BEING to Him, and do WHATEVER He desires of us.  And we are to TOTALLY put our ENTIRE TRUST in Him.  If you have GIVEN yourself to Him, then you NO LONGER belong to yourself, but you BELONG to HIM.



What does all this mean?  In verse eight, the Psalmist tells us that; “When I lie down, I go to SLEEP in PEACE; You ALONE, O LORD, keep me PERFECTLY SAFE.”  Our GREAT Nation is experiencing some very TUMULTUOUS times, right now, but BECAUSE of God’s AMAZING GRACE and His ABUNDANT MERCY, we, who belong to Him, can LAY down in our beds, at night, and SLEEP, because we have TOTAL TRUST in Him.  And we have that PEACE that passes ALL understanding. We have that PEACE, because of His UNFAILING LOVE that He gives to us, through the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE of His ONE and ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Do you possess that PEACE?



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you cannot experience that kind of PEACE.  Because of your CONTINUAL REJECTION of His SON, Jesus, and the SACRIFICE He made for your REDEMPTION, you are headed for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you’re there.  BUT you are NOW given another OPPORTUNITY to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and offer Him the SACRIFICE of YOURSELF, and TOTALLY TRUST Him to give you His PEACE in the midst of your crisis. And to give you an ETERNAL HOME in Heaven, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“Delighting Yourself in the LORD”

“If you keep from desecration the sabbath from doing whatever you want on My holy day; if you call the Sabbath a delight, and the Holy day of the LORD honorable’ if you honor it, not going your own ways, seeking your own pleasure, or talking too much; then you will delight yourself in the LORD, and I will make you ride over the heights of the land, and let you enjoy the heritage of your father Jacob.”  For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.     Isaiah 58:13-14



Even though, this was spoken to the Nation of Israel, it is very applicable to Christians, today.  This was a message from the Mouth of God to the mouth of the Prophet Isaiah, for the Nation of Israel.  In order to have a SPIRITUAL SATISFACTION of one’s soul, or to DELIGHT THEMSELVES in the LORD, there were some things they NEEDED to do.  First thing, was to NOT TURN THEIR FOOT AWAY from the SABBATH, or to KEEP FROM DESECRATING the SABBATH.  Because, KEEPING the SABBATH was a symbol of OBEDIENCE in KEEPING ALL the LAW of MOSES. 



For the Christian of today, the Word of God tells us in Hebrews 10:25 that we are to NOT stay away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but to ENCOURAGE each other, and all the MORE as we see the Day drawing near.  In other words, DO NOT NEGLECT coming TOGETHER as a FAMILY and WORSHIPPING together, in one accord.  And ENCOURAGE each other to do this.  The next things is to NOT put ANYTHING or ANYBODY before the LORD, especially on the HOLY DAY, for Christians, that is on SUNDAY.  It is the Lord’s Day, and He SHOULD be FIRST and FORMOST, in our lives, and ESPECIALLY on SUNDAYS.  If you HONOR the Lord’s Day, instead, of going your OWN way and doing your OWN thing, and SEEKING your OWN pleasures, and making this Day a Day of WORSHIP and PRAISE, with your FAMILY of GOD.  You will DELIGHT YOURSELF in the LORD.



To ride over the heights of the land, means to ENJOY the benefits of your SPIRITUAL SALVATION, and the ASSURANCE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  This can ONLY be experienced by the one who has a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Have you given your HEART and LIFE to God?  If NOT, you are destined to spend YOUR ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after your there.  But you NOW have the opportunity to change your destiny from HELL to HEAVEN, by; TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS, God’s ONLY SON, died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and DELIGHT YOURSELF in the LORD.  And if you are a TRUE BELIEVER, but are NOT HONORING the LORD’S DAY (Sundays), you NEED to REPENT and make sure you have put God FIRST in your life, and WORSHIP Him, and NOT yourself.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
