The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.-----Romans 8:16
Many Christians at some point in time will ask the question: "How can I know for sure that I"m truly a child of God?"
This passage of Scripture pretty well gives us the answer. It tells us that the SPIRIT Himself, the one who convicted us and drew us to God, bears witness with our spirit, and a CONFIRMATION takes place, not any ordinary CONFIRMATION, but a DIVINE CONFIRMATION, that comes directly from the ONE who prearranged our ADOPTION into God's Holy Family and SEALED it with the ATONING BLOOD of His ONLY Begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is a DONE DEAL, once you have been CONVICTED of your sins and DRAWN to God by His Precious Holy Spirit, and CONFESSED your sins to Him, asking for His FORGIVENESS, and with ALL sincerity you have made the decision in your HEART to ACCEPT His offer of being adopted into His Family, you CAN have a STRONG ASSURANCE that you belong to Him for ALL ETERNITY!
What an AWESOME promise: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness."-----1 John 1:9
"I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have ETERNAL LIFE." -----1 John 5:13
Please DON"T reject the wooing of the Holy Spirit. Come to Him NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!

Wait for the Lord!
Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.-----Psalm 27:14
"WAIT," the psalmist says. This day and time that word is hardly ever carried out.
We live in a "DO IT NOW" time when whatever we are facing or doing, our mind-set is to DO IT NOW! Don't WAIT for anything or anybody. Many times when we follow that mind-set we are headed for heartache and disaster.
However, when we WAIT for the Lord, we can rest assured that He is in complete CONTROL and we can TRUST Him to carry us through whatever we are facing, if we would be STRONG and COURAGEOUS through the waiting period.
So TRUST Him and WAIT for the Lord!
If you have never given your heart to the Lord, you can do it NOW by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING in your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in HEAVEN making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT God's gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's WAITING!!

Confident Hope
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called---His holy people who are His rich and glorious inheritance. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe Him.-----Ephesians 1:18-19
These are the words penned by the Apostle Paul to the believers in Ephesus. Words that Father God desired for the believers TODAY to hear and take to heart.
We that are believers NEED to understand the CONFIDENT HOPE that God has given to us. The understanding of the CONFIDENCE of our SALVATION through His blessed Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. To KNOW our future is sealed in Him. To TRUST in His PROMISES.
And not only to understand the CONFIDENT HOPE, but to understand the INCREDIBLE GREATNESS of GOD'S POWER. The POWER to change a wretched, sinful person into a clean, righteous, holy person, to be able to give sight to not only the physically blind, but also to the spiritually blind, not to just bring life into a dead body, but to bring life into the heart and soul of fallen mankind, who is dead in their sins, and to bring this universe into existence. WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!!
If you have NO confident HOPE for where you will spend your eternity, you can by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in HEAVEN making intercession for YOU and to ACCEPT God's gift of SALVATION (confident hope). Every Morning
Lord, every morning you hear my voice. Every morning, I tell you what I need, and I wait for your answer.-----Psalm 5:3
The Psalmist says, EVERY morning you hear my voice. Does the Lord hear YOUR voice EVERY morning?
I remember when I started having a regular quiet time with the Lord. I had a problem getting up early enough to have a substantial time with the Lord. I had the frame of mind that as long as you prayed at ANY time of the day you were doing what you should do. How very WRONG that frame of mind turned out to be.
You see our Lord DESIRES our TOTAL attention. Giving Him five minutes of our day, when we can SQUEEZE Him in, is not exactly what He expects from us. Saying a short, get-me-by prayer is not His desire either.
God desires QUALITY time with each of His children. Not "if I have time," or "when I have time."
It is His desire to hear our voice EVERY morning!
You might be using the excuse that you don't have time for that. Well if you worked at getting your priorities in order, with Quiet Time with the Lord being FIRST, you would have a BETTER, MORE ORGANIZED beginning to your day.
Try doing some of the things you do in the morning, the night before. The BEST thing you can do to have a REGULAR, INTIMATE, QUIET TIME, with the Lord is to ask Him to help you get STARTED by helping you to WAKE-UP EARLY ENOUGH. Trust me, I KNOW He will do it. And SET YOUR ALARM CLOCK!
Your Quiet Time should NOT just be Him listening to you, but BE STILL and WAIT to listen to Him as He speaks to your heart. He LOVES YOU and DESIRES A CLOSE relationship with YOU! What a DIFFERENCE it will make in your day.
If you have never given your life to God, you cannot have a CLOSE relationship with Him until you: CONFESS your sins to Him and ask for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVE in your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in HEAVEN making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION! Do it NOW, while you STILL can! He's waiting!!!

Protected by the Almighty!
Those who go to God Most High for safety will be protected by the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "You are my place of safety and protection. You are my God and I trust you."-----Psalm 91:1-2
There are some words and phrases of ASSURANCE in this passage of Scripture. Assurances that we can take to heart because the Lord God Almighty PROMISES us that He will be our SHIELD OF PROTECTION and our SHELTER when strong winds blow. We can run to Him and find SAFETY and PROTECTION because He is our STRONG and MIGHTY TOWER.
That in itself is reason enough to merit our TRUST. But we can also, without reservation, put our FAITH and TRUST in Him because of WHO HE IS and WHAT HE HAS DONE.
He is our CREATOR GOD and He has SACRIFICED HIMSELF to REDEEM us and to PROVIDE for us an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with HIM. So since He has done all of that for us He DEFINITELY deserves our FAITH AND TRUST in Him.

The Ultimate Blessing
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord show you kindness and have mercy on you. May the Lord watch over you and give you peace.-----Numbers 6:24-26
What an AWESOME blessing to speak upon someone. No GREATER wishes could be bestowed on another than to have Almighty God's BLESSINGS and to have Him PERSONALLY KEEP you or to experience His KINDNESS and have His MERCY upon you, and to KNOW that He is WATCHING over you and to be able to bask in His PEACE, that PEACE that this old sinful world cannot give you.
ONLY the HOLY God of Heaven can do ALL of these things for you and He is waiting to be able to do just that. So dear Children of The Living God, let this blessing be upon our lips for those we LOVE and KNOW NEEDS such a BLESSING.

True Everlasting Love
And from far away the Lord appeared to His people and said, "I love you people with a love that will last forever. That is why I have continued showing you kindness."-----Jeremiah 31:3
You know we live in a world where the word "love" is tossed around without any true feelings attached.
To some LOVE is just a passing fancy, it is sometimes used as a bargaining chip, you know, "If you really LOVE me, you will do this or that/"
When God created man He created him with the ability to LOVE and not to abuse that ability by using it as a means to get what one desires and in the process, deeply hurting someone that is the object of that FAKE LOVE. But to use it how God intended it to be used, with a TRUE, SINCERE, and FAITHFUL HEART. A love that will last, "till death do us part."
In this verse we see an EXCELLENT example of the type of LOVE we should have for one another, God says: "I love you people with a love that will last forever." What a difference that attitude would make in the world today, if we would just FOLLOW God's example.
If you are a Child of the Living God you are experiencing that TRUE, EVERLASTING LOVE. If you are not a Child of the Living God, then you are not experiencing it, but you could be experiencing it by: CONFESSING your sins to God, and asking for His forgiveness, telling Him you are sorry for your sins, BELIEVING that Jesus died for you and is ALIVE in Heaven making intercession for you before God, and by ACCEPTING His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you still can! He's waiting!!
