“The Glorious Grace of God!”

 

 

For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people, instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.--------Titus 2:11-13

 

 

Most believers feel the anticipation of the “last days.” In this portion of the Apostle Paul’s letter to Titus.  He instructs him how the believers are supposed to conduct themselves during these “last days.”

 

He begins with the fact that through the act of God’s glorious GRACE, we have SALVATION for ALL people.  And for those who have accepted God’s gift of SALVATION, Paul tells them how they should conduct themselves during these “last days.”  He says we, the believers should “deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way…” 

 

In other words, we are to keep in our minds and hearts that Jesus IS coming SOON!!  And that He could appear at ANY time.  The question is HOW, WHERE and WHAT do you want Him to find YOU?  Do you want Him to find you participating in the ways of this godless, sinful world?  Being in a place where you, as a believer, don’t belong, and doing what you should NOT be doing and saying things that you should NOT be saying? 

 

We, as believers, should be living a sensible, righteous, and godly life, because we KNOW that He is coming back and it will be SOON.  Therefore we need to make ourselves ready by ‘CLEANING-UP’ our hearts and souls, getting READY for the arrival of our Blessed Hope, our GREAT GOD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  There’s only ONE way to do this, it is by ceasing your UNGODLY, SINFUL, WORDLY, actions and CONFESSING your sins to Him, asking Him for His forgiveness and striving to live a RIGHTEOUS, HOLY, SENSIBLE life.  You became a ‘NEW Creation’ when you first came to Christ, and  you SHOULD SHUN your old ways and EMBRACE the new ways, which the Holy Spirit of the Living God, CAN and WILL help  you do. 

 

Believers, GET READY, make SURE your ‘house is in order,’ because HE IS COMING SOON!!

 

If you have NOT, at any time, given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are not READY and will be LEFT BEHIND.  You have the opportunity to GET READY, NOW, by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then accept His gift of SALVATION, and BE READY to put OFF the old sinful ways, and put ON the new righteous, sensible ways.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

On that day it will be said, “Look, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us.  This is the Lord; we have waited for Him.  Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”--------Isaiah 25:9

 

 

The Prophet Isaiah is prophesying of a future time, a time known as the Millennium, the Thousand Year Reign of our Lord Jesus Christ, which will take place after the Rapture of the TRUE believers of Jesus Christ, and the seven years of Tribulation.  He gives us insight as to some of events that will take place.

 

During the beginning of the reign of the Lord Jesus Christ on earth, Isaiah tells us that the BELIEVING remnant (those that are saved) of Israel will respond to His presence, and affirm their TRUST in Him, with: “Look this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us.   This is the Lord; we have waited for Him.  Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

 

What a GREAT CELEBRATORY time that will be, for the REDEEMED, and not only for the BELIEVING remnant, but for ALL TRUE BELIEVERS; the LONG-AWAITED reign of Christ on the Earth.  When the government of the WHOLE WORLD will change and the Lord Jesus Christ will REIGN SUPEREME.  What a day that will be!!

 

If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to God you will not be celebrating at all, but will be experiencing the after-effects of the wrath of God.  You can, however, change your destination, and experience the CELEBRATION instead of the after-effects of God’s wrath, by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and CELEBRATE with the rest of the REDEEMED.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting and coming back soon!!

For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.--------Colossians 1:13-14

 

 

I believe that ALL of Heaven gathered together to watch the RESCUE of mankind’s soul from the domain of darkness, and from the clutches of that dastardly, old, slew-foot, devil.  And to be transferred into God’s glorious Kingdom, the Kingdom of His beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

What a bittersweet moment that must have been to see the One, they worshipped and adored, beaten to a bloody pulp and then nailed to an old wooden cross and hung-up for all the world to see. Yet, to have the knowledge that all of this was carried out for the REDEMPTION of mankind’s soul. 

 

In order, that mankind’s soul could be transferred into the Kingdom of God’s beloved Son, the RESCUER of the souls of ALL mankind, the REDEEMER, who brought SALVATION to the LOST of this corrupt world, and  to redeem even those who, actually put Him to death.  What AWESOME, UNFAILING, REDEMPTIVE LOVE, which is the ONLY thing that would RESCUE mankind’s soul from the depths of the dark domain and usher it into the glorious heights of Heaven.  “OH WHAT A SAVIOR!!!”

 

If you have not given your HEART and Life to God, then you are living in the clutches of a WICKED, RUTHLESS, devil, who wants nothing more than to have you spend ALL eternity in the depths of the dark domain and to suffer agony, heartache, torment, and despair.  Let the Rescuer come and break the chains of sin that have you bound, and RESCUE you from the devil’s grasp, and be set FREE, by Christ’s REDEMPTIVE POWER.  You do this by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be transferred into the GLORIOUS KINGDOM of His beloved Son.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

 I will take vengeance in anger and wrath against the nations that have not obeyed Me.--------Micah 5:15

 

 

Well, I guess we know what lies ahead for the United States.  Sad to say, this is a nation that has rejected and DISOBEYED the statutes of the Almighty God.  As a nation, it has turned its back to the very One who has the power to bring it down to its knees.  And He will do just that.

 

Whether you believe it or not, this nation has tried and tested God time and again, and He is ready to bring vengeance on Her.  She has made ungodly laws and carried them out.  She has made what is BAD to be GOOD, and what is GOOD to be BAD. God is NOT happy with our nation.

 

As a nation, she has DISOBEYED God in every form imaginable.  She has taken blatant sin and flaunted it in the very face of God, embraced it, and arrogantly proclaimed it to be a normal part of life.  She has allowed the cannibalizing of full term, unborn babies, or we could say the murder and carnage of another human being.  God is NOT happy!

 

There is DISOBEDIENCE running rampant in the streets of our cities.  Many people breaking the laws and threatening our law officers.  And our government upholds, for the most part, the behavior of these unlawful actions.  God is NOT happy!

 

 While the freedoms of law-abiding Christian people are being scrutinized and threatened every day.   We are being ridiculed, and persecuted for our beliefs.  We and our children are commanded to leave God out of our RELIGIOUS holidays, and in some instances our everyday lives.  God is NOT happy!

 

Our Nation is destined and WILL experience the WRATH, ANGER, and VENGEANCE of Almighty God.  I believe that God’s Children will escape this HORRENDOUS, CALAMITY, through the RAPTURE, but those who have been DISOBEDIENT to the ALMIGHTY God will be left behind and will experience the VENGEANCE and ANGER of the ALMIGHTY.  A FEARFUL time indeed.

 

If you have NOT given your Heart and Life to God, then you are going to be one that will definitely experience God’s VENGEANCE and ANGER, which is NOT something that you will be able to escape from.  However, you have the opportunity to become a Child of the Almighty God and to escape the HORRENDOUS, CALAMITY that is coming.  You do that by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your Heart, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and escape God’s VENGEANCE and ANGER.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting and coming back soon!!!

"Confident and Unashamed!"

And Now, dear Children, continue in Him, so that when He appears we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming.--------1John 2:28

 

 

I believe that we, humanity, are living in the LAST DAYS, maybe even the LAST HOURS of this present age, as we know it.  I believe that the RAPTURE of the TRUE BELIEVERS of Jesus Christ could happen at ANY time and with that knowledge it is imperative that, we as God’s Children be READY at ALL times to leave this earth with CONFIDENCE and UNASHAMED.

 

While we are in the WAITING stage, we NEED to be about our Heavenly Father’s business.  And that is, to be OBEDIENT to His will.  We must be the witnesses that He would EXPECT us to be, and to SERVE Him daily, doing the things we KNOW He would want us to do, and NOT participate in those things that we KNOW are NOT pleasing to Him.

 

We should be conducting ourselves in a CHRIST-LIKE manner and not be conducting ourselves in the ways of this sinful, wretched world.  We should be able to show the LOVE of Christ to ALL people, because we represent God, who is LOVE, and we definitely NEED to show LOVE to each other. 

 

We NEED to live a life that is free from the burden of sin, and we NEED to be repentant of any sins that we have participated in.  So that when the Lord Jesus Christ comes we will not be ASHAMED of our thoughts, words, or actions.  But that we will have a CLEAN mind, mouth and heart and can be CONFIDENT and UNASHAMED of our life.

 

If you are a Child of God and have NOT been allowing the Holy Spirit to work in your life, you will find yourself to be UNCONFIDENT and ASHAMED at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, and are living in sin, You will stand before the Lord Jesus Christ at the Judgement Seat with NO confidence and very ashamed, condemned to an eternity in Hell, the place of torture, torment, misery, agony, and despair. A place that is VOID of the LOVE and MERCY of Almighty God.  However, you have the opportunity NOW to change your doomed destiny by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and be CONFIDENT and UNASHAMED at His coming.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting, and COMING SOON!!!

"Know and Obey"

When we obey God, we are sure we know Him.  But if we claim to know Him and don’t obey Him, we are lying and the truth isn’t in our hearts.  We truly love God only when we obey Him as we should, and then we know we belong to Him.  If we say we are His, we must follow the example of Christ.--------1John 2:3-6

 

 

I believe this is the TRUE litmus test for KNOWING that you are a TRUE child of the Living God.  When we are OBEDIENT to His will and ways, then we have the assurance that we belong to Him.

 

We TRULY love Him when we obey Him the way we are supposed to do.  But if we say we KNOW Him and don’t OBEY Him then we lie and the TRUTH is not in us. We have then made our self to be a liar.  But when we are OBEDIENT to Him we KNOW that we truly belong to Him.

 

If we claim to be His, we must strive to follow the example that Christ has set for us.  We must ask ourselves, “What Would Jesus Do?”  and then do those things we KNOW He would do and NOT do the things we KNOW He wouldn’t do.  That is called, OBEDIENCE, and that is what is expected of each of God’s Children.

 

So if you claim to KNOW God, and to belong to Him, but are failing to DO what you KNOW He wants and expects you to do, then you are lying to yourself and the TRUTH is NOT in your HEART.  And if you have not TRULY given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you do NOT belong to Him.  However, you have the opportunity NOW to KNOW and OBEY Him by:  CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and KNOW for sure that you belong to Him and be obedient to His will.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

"God is Great!"

“God is Great!”

 

 

Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; let those who love Your salvation continually say, “God is Great!”-------Psalm 70:4

 

 

I think an interesting point in this Psalm is this verse of Scripture, and its location. This Psalm is a prayer of King David.  It is a prayer or plea for deliverance and protection.  But it also contains this verse of PRAISE and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.

 

In reading the whole Psalm, we see David’s desperation and urgency as he cries out to the Almighty God for DELIVERANCE and HELP.  David stops in the middle of his desperate and urgent plea, to PRAISE God and ACKNOWLEGE His magnitude.

 

In verse four, David says, “Let ALL who SEEK You REJOICE and be GLAD in You;” I believe that David may have used the word “SEEK” here in an ongoing scenario, meaning a CONTINUAL SEEKING of God and His will, not just a one-time thing, but a CONTINUAL thing. 

 

Everyone NEEDS to “SEEK” God for the SALVATION of their souls, but those who are already saved need to “SEEK” Him daily for His guidance, strength, and stability of their faith.  When we think about our SALVATION and ALL that is involved in the SALVATION process of mankind’s soul, it SHOULD evoke a time of REJOICING and ELATION in our very being.  And put a JOY in our HEART that will never cease. 

 

He ends this verse with an ACCLAMATION of PRAISE and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:  “God is great!” His GREATNESS is greatly to be praised, because of ALL the elements of His REDEMPTIVE plan for mankind.  ONLY God can SAVE mankind through the WONDERFUL, PRECIOUS, sacrifice of His BELOVED Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  There is NO other way in which mankind can obtain SALVATION. 

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you cannot, with the Psalmist, truly acclaim, “God is great!”  because you can’t possibly understand the GREATNESS of the Almighty God.  He has the POWER to send your poor, wretched soul to Hell, if your keep rejecting His GREAT gift of SALVATION.  But you can change your destination by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and experience the TRUE GREATNESS of ALMIGHTY GOD.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!
