For the Scriptures say, "If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and His ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns His face against those who do evil.------1 Peter 3:10-12
These verses gives the believer a very clear picture of what is expected of them. I have heard, from those, who profess to be a Christian, language that made me cringe with disbelief, and if it had that affect on me, I wonder what it must have done to the very heart of ALMIGHTY GOD. The very mouth that one moment is offering up PRAISE, SONGS, and PRAYERS are now taking the VERY name of the ONE, they were just PRAISING, SINGING AND PRAYING to, in VAIN, using it in a NOT so good context, with words that it should NEVER be used with.
These verses tell us to KEEP our tongues from such vulgarity and to KEEP our lips from telling lies, by which, is something that a LOT of people cannot do, because their lives are built on NOTHING BUT LIES, and that is ALL they seem to know, but as God's children we are to REFRAIN from telling lies, because we belong to God and He is TRUTH! So as Children of TRUTH, WE MUST NOT engage in telling lies.
We are to conduct ourselves, with HELP from the Holy Spirit, in a manner conducive to being a Child of the ALMIGHTY GOD and FLEE, RUN, SKADADDLE from EVIL. But DO those things that, we know, in our HEARTS are GOOD, PLEASING AND ACCEPTABLE to HIM. Then we are to SEARCH for PEACE. This word "SEARCH" gives us an indication that PEACE is not ALWAYS available, but it is worth looking DILIGENTLY for and once we FIND it we must WORK DILIGENTLY to MAINTAIN or KEEP it.
And when we have done ALL of the above, we are told what He will do for us. It says that His EYES watch over those who do RIGHT, and NEITHER does He SLUMBER nor SLEEP!! Now, this word "SLUMBER" can mean "INACTIVE", so we KNOW that He is neither, INACTIVE or SLEEPING, but VERY well AWARE of EVERYTHING we say or do.
And His ears are OPEN to our PRAYERS. He is WAITING and WILLING for US to come to Him. That SPECIAL time when we are ALL ALONE with our HEAVENLY FATHER and can without reservation POUR OUT our HEARTS to the ONLY ONE who can make the CHANGES in our lives that we desperately NEED.
Then we are told that the Lord turns His face AGAINST those who do evil. They do NOT belong to Him and they do NOT RECEIVE any of His blessings or protection in this life, unless they come to Him with a REPENTANT HEART, turning AWAY and FLEEING from the EVIL that was once a part of their lives. They can do that by: CONFESSING their sins to God, then asking for God's FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL their HEARTS, that Jesus died for THEM, and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for them, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while they STILL can. He's waiting!!!

Spiritual Abortion
Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.------John 3:6
These are the words that Jesus spoke to Nicodemus when he came to Jesus to ask, what must one do to obtain eternal life?
Jesus told Nicodemus that he MUST be BORN AGAIN! Nicodemus didn't understand what Jesus meant by this STRANGE concept of being BORN AGAIN, so Jesus explains that humans can only reproduce HUMAN LIFE, which is known as the "first birth," and ALMIGHTY GOD, through the MIRACULOUS AND POWERFUL HOLY SPIRIT produces or gives birth to SPIRITUAL life, known as the "second birth." Thus the concept of being 'BORN AGAIN."
So when WE experienced human birth, WE did not have a choice whether we would live or die. Some one else made that choice for us.
To be "BORN AGAIN" WE MUST make the CHOICE of eternal LIFE or eternal DEATH which we could call a SPIRITUAL ABORTION. the Holy Spirit gives us that ABILITY to CHOOSE.
If you have not made that CHOICE, you need to do it NOW, while you STILL have the option to CHOOSE. God says that He will not ALWAYS strive with mankind, in other words, there is coming a time when God will remove the option of YOU CHOOSING and He will make the CHOICE and it will NOT be for eternal LIFE as ONE of His CHILDREN, instead it will be for an ETERNITY of SUFFERING, the likes of which has never been known to mankind.
However, you have at least ONE more opportunity to CHANGE your Life COURSE by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!

The Strong and Mighty Tower
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.------Psalm 118:8
The day in which we live isvfull of UNCERTAINTIES, and our lives are filled with ANXIETIES, FEARS and FRUSTRATIONS. We turn from one thing to another trying to get some RELIEF from these PRESSURES that so easily and quickly besets us.
I am here to tell you that there is HOPE and RELIEF from life's PRESSURES. It's not from a BOTTLE of PILLS or a BOTTLE of ALCOHOL, or even from a FRIEND or RELATIVE. But the HOPE and RELIEF needed comes from the ONLY ONE who knows ALL about your troubles, even some that you haven't even encountered yet. That ONE is WAITING for you to come to Him. He will TRULY be your REFUGE and STRENGTH through any STORM that you are experiencing. And as the scripture says it's BETTER to come to Him than to TRUST in man.
If you are struggling through life's RAGING STORMS, RUN to the REFUGE of a STRONG and MIGHTY TOWER, Father God, He will see you ALL the way through.
If you are NOT familiar with the ONLY ONE who knows ALL about YOU. People of Light
Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God's people. Don't be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey Him. Don't participate in the things these people do. For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light with in you produces only what is good and right and true.------Ephesians 5: 3, 6-9
How can we live in such a WICKED and PERVERTED world where WRONG is presented as RIGHT and RIGHT is presented as WRONG?
The Apostle Paul gives us CLEAR and CONCISE directions as HOW we should live our lives at this point in time and place. He says that we are NOT to take ANY part in sexual immorality, impurity, or greed, because such sins have NO place in the lives of God's people.
We are NOT to be FOOLED by the excuses that are used to CONDONE these acts because the ANGER of the RIGHTEOUS GOD will fall on ALL who are DISOBEDIENT to Him by practicing these sins. And I don't know about you, but I'm smart enough to know that I SURE don't wan God's ANGER to fall on me!!
Before we came to the Father, we lived in darkness, the scripture says we were FULL of darkness, BUT when we came to the Lord Jesus Christ with a REPENTANT HEART we became PEOPLE OF LIGHT, because we LIVE in the LIGHT and we are now FULL of the LIGHT that produces ONLY what is GOOD, and RIGHT, and TRUE.
So according to the Apostle Paul we SHOULD live as people of LIGHT, being OBEDIENT to God and SEEKING to bring His GOOD PLEASURE upon us INSTEAD of His ANGER.
If you are FULL of DARKNESS because you are practicing these sins you can CHANGE the DARKNESS to LIGHT BY: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!

A Servant's Heart
,,,"If I don't wash you," Jesus told him, "you don't belong to me." "I have set the example, and you should do for each other exactly what I have done for you."------John 13:8, 15
In the first part of the scriptures, Jesus was speaking to Peter, in the last part He was speaking to ALL of His disciples (followers). Yet this is a STRONG and POWERFUL message that is APPLICABLE to those of us who are His followers, and also for those who are being led by the Spirit to come to Him and to TRULY be one of His followers.
Jesus told Peter, that unless Peter was willing to be washed by Him than Peter didn't belong to Him. If we are NOT willing to be WASHED and CLEANSED by the PRECIOUS, SOUL-CLEANSING BLOOD of our Lord Jesus Christ, then we too do NOT belong to Him.
We CANNOT come to Him any other way. If we desire to belong to Him. This is the ONLY WAY!! I know I have said this MANY times, but I feel led to say it again. YOU MUST COME TO THE FATHER THROUGH THE BLOOD OF THE SPOTLESS LAMB OF GOD, the Lord Jesus Christ!!
In the last part of our scripture, Jesus is speaking to ALL of His disciples, telling them that NOW that He had set the EXAMPLE they SHOULD follow it. And DO what He had just DONE, NOT just wash some DIRTY, SMELLY FEET, but to have a SERVANT'S HEART, and to SERVE EACH OTHER, so lies the MESSAGE for each of God's BLOOD-BOUGHT, SOUL-CLEANSED CHILDREN, whether you like it or not WE are to be SERVANTS and not EXPECT to be SERVED, but with a JOYFUL and WILLING HEART, SERVE others.
If you are NOT a follower of Jesus, you can be by being WASHED in the SOUL-CLEANSING blood of the SPOTLESS LAMB OF GOD BY: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting !!!

Living Stones
As you come to Him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.------1 Peter 2:4-5
When we come to Him, Jesus Christ, who is the CHIEF LIVING CORNERSTONE that was and STILL is being REJECTED by mankind, we become like LIVING STONES that are laid upon the CHIEF LIVING STONE in the building of a STRONG spiritual house that cannot be destroyed.
When we are a part of HIS spiritual house, we also become a part of a HOLY PRIESTHOOD that is ABLE TO OFFER spiritual sacrifices to God. Something that we are NOT ABLE to do apart from Jesus Christ.
So in order to be a LIVING STONE in the spiritual house, that is presently under construction, and to be a part of His HOLY PRIESTHOOD, that is the ONLY ones ABLE to come to HOLY GOD with spiritual sacrifices, you must FIRST ACCEPT the CHIEF LIVING CORNERSTONE and be WILLING to be used as a LIVING STONE in the building of His spiritual house or holy temple.

The Only Way!
Jesus told him,(Thomas), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.------John 14:6
It's AMAZING how many ways people believe are possible to be able to come into the very presence of ALMIGHTY GOD.
Some believe that you can BUY your way through, some believe that you can go through on the coat tails of another person. Some believe you can make it through on one's OWN merits. While still others believe one can make it through on CHURCH MEMBERSHIP. This is the reason we have so MANY LOST church members. And there is always those who believe they can make it through on the LIES OF FALSE TEACHERS.
However, we see CLEARLY, that Jesus said to Thomas, "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. NO ONE can COME TO THE FATHER, except by ME." Meaning that there is NO OTHER WAY for mankind to be SAVED from their sins, EXCEPT through the ONE AND ONLY SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ. He IS the GATE by which we MUST enter to be able to come to FATHER GOD and receive FORGIVENESS for our sins.
If you have NEVER come through the GATE, (Jesus Christ), you have NOT yet made it through to the Father, but you have the opportunity NOW to come through the RIGHT GATE by: CONFESSING your SINS to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.
