“The Anguish of His Soul”

 

 

Out of the anguish of His soul He shall see and be satisfied; by His knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and He shall bear their iniquities.          Isaiah 53:11

 

“Out of the anguish of His soul,” means because of His SUFFERING, and DEATH, which took place during His crucifixion, the Lord Jesus Christ was SATISFIED with the results of such a horrendous, brutal SACRIFICE that was provided for the SALVATION of the TRUE BELIEVER.

 

“By His knowledge,” which could be translated, “by knowledge of Him,” Christ, the RIGHTEOUS ONE, could make many to be RIGHTEOUS, and to BEAR THEIR INIQUITIES.  When Christ was hanging on that OLD, RUGGED cross, He took on the sins of EVERYONE, PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE, He, who knew NO sin, became sin so that the  MANY who TRULY BELIEVE, with ALL their HEART, could be REDEEMED and made RIGHTEOUS before the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD.

 

Because He was willing to SUFFER the ANGUISH of His soul, MANY, meaning EVERYBODY, who TRULY BELIEVES that Jesus Christ died for them, to provide their REDEMPTION and RIGHTEOUSNESS, will become a TRUE CHILD of the LIVING GOD and will receive the HOPE of HEAVEN for ALL ETERNITY. 

 

However, those who continually REFUSE God’s gift of SALVATION, will be FOREVER LOST and will spend ETERNITY in HELL, the place of ETERNAL torment, torture, pain, heartache, agony and despair, with NO WAY of ESCAPE.  But God is giving you another opportunity to come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become a TRUE BELIEVER, who has been REDEEMED and made RIGHTEOUS, by the work of Jesus Christ, through the ANGUISH of His soul.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“Victory That Overcomes the World”

 

 

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.  For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world---our faith.          1 John 5:3-4

 

 

The one who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, and has come to Him with a desire to be saved from their sins, is BORN of GOD.  When we LOVE God and observe His commandments, we can KNOW that the LOVE of God is in us, and we can TRULY LOVE the children born of Him. 

 

For the LOVE of God is that we KEEP His commandments; and His commandments are NOT burdensome to us, because the principle of victory is in EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.  EVERY TRUE BELIEVER will desire to KEEP God’s commandments, because of their LOVE for God and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. 

 

Now, just how is that VICTORY carried out?  When a person comes to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, SEEKING God’s FORGIVENESS, and BELIEVING with ALL their HEART, that Jesus died for them, then they are VICTORIOUS over this wretched, old, sinful world and its leader, Satan, by their FAITH.  Their FAITH is their weapon against the wickedness of a lost and dying world and thus they are able to OVERCOME THE WORLD.  And obtain ETERNAL LIFE in Heaven. 

 

However, if you do NOT come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, SEEKING His FORGIVENESS, and BELIEVEING with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, You are NOT VICTORIOUS over this wretched, old sinful world and Satan, but instead you will remain a part of it and will spend an ETERNITY in HELL, the place of ETERNAL torment, torture, pain, agony, and despair, with NO WAY of ESCAPE.  So if you want to change your direction you MUST COME to God with a TRUR REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to God, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become a Child of the Living God, and let your FAITH become the VICTORY that OVERCOMES the world.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“Evidence of Who Are the Children of God”

 

 

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.  This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are:  Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.                                                 1 John 3:9-10

 

 

When a person wants to know what kind of person is a TRUE BELIEVER or a TRUE CHILD of God, they will WATCH them and LISTEN to them.  When you become a TRUE CHILD of the ALMIGHTY GOD, you will exemplify the nature of God, which is the seed of God.  When His nature is planted in your HEART, then you will show EVIDENCE of to whom you belong.  And your OLD, SINFUL nature will go away, and you will receive a NEW nature. 

 

Does this mean that the TRUE CHILD of the ALMIGHTY GOD does NOT SIN?  No it does NOT mean that. The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the believers in Rome states,” I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.”  In other words, Paul was indicating that he has two natures that indwells him.  A sinful nature or the flesh, and another nature, the nature that God planted in his HEART, when he gave himself to the Lord Jesus Christ, who delivers him from his sins.  Paul states in Romans 7:23, that in his inner being He DELIGHTS in God’s law; but the two natures war against each other, and God’s Holy Spirit which indwells Paul, brings CONVICTION into Paul’s HEART, and Paul must CONFESS his sins to God, in order to restore his FELLOWSHIP with his Heavenly Father. 

 

The KEY to the differences between a TRUE BELIEVER and an UNBELIEVER is the fact that the TRUE BELIEVER will NOT CONTIUNE or PRACTICE sin, but will CONFESS their sins to God and ask for His FORGIVENESS.  The UNBELIEVER will LIVE or PRACTICE DAILY their sins and not CONFESS them, unless they are being dealt with by the HOLY SPIRIT, and they come to God, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING their sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL their HEART that Jesus died for them, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them before God, then they must ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and TURN AWAY from their sins and TOWARD CHRIST, seeking FORGIVENESS of any sins they may have committed, and they MUST LOVE their brothers and sisters in the Lord. 

This is how we know who are the TRUE CHILDREN OF GOD, and who are the TRUE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL.  The EVIDENCE is very plain to see.  Which are you?  Come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and CONFESS your sins to Him, seek His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVE, WHOLEHEARTEDLY, that Jesus died for YOU, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION  and become a TRUE CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

 

 

"New Year, New Life"

“New Year, New Life”

 

 

“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD.  “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants---from this time on and forever,” says the LORD.        Isaiah 59:21

 

This was a message to the BELIEVING Israelites from God, delivered by the Prophet Isaiah, and is very applicable for ANY TRUE BELIEVER today, regardless of their nationality.   For Christ brought SALVATION for the Jews and Gentiles.  With God there is NO partiality.  We are neither Jew nor Gentile for ALL TRUE BELIVERS are the SAME in His sight.   

 

Jesus was the New Covenant, and ONLY by Him, can anybody receive SALVATION, and a RIGHT relationship with Father God.  It is through Jesus Christ that we are brought into God’s Holy Family and given the very SPECIAL GIFT of His Holy Spirit, who guides, leads, counsels, and teaches us in and through the Word of the Living God.  And as we see in this verse His Spirit will NOT depart from us. 

 

If you are a TRUE BELIEVER, you should have a desire to KNOW God and to FOLLOW His Word.  When you begin to grow spiritually, you will learn His Word and Laws and you will want to FOLLOW Him, and be PLEASING to Him.  He will, through the work of the Holy Spirit, put His words in your mouth by way of your HEART.  The Psalmist says:  “Thy Word, have I hidden in my HEART.”  And your mouth will confess what is in your HEART. 

 

Then it is up to you to TEACH God’s Word to your children and them to their children.   It is the responsibility of EVERY PARENT to “train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.  (Proverbs 22:6)  And to set an example and be a witness to them, so they might come to a SAVING KNOWLEDGE of Jesus Christ.   

 

If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you do NOT possess His Spirit and are headed for an eternity in Hell, the place of torment, torture, heartache, pain, agony and despair.  But God in His infinite MERCY and GRACE is giving you the opportunity to change your direction, and what an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME way to begin a NEW YEAR with a NEW LIFE.  To do this you MUST come before God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and begin a NEW YEAR with a NEW LIFE.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“Reflecting on the Past, Looking Forward to the Future!”

 

 

All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts.  Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.  But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions---it is by grace you have been saved.        Ephesians 2:3-5

 

We cannot KNOW what the future holds, but we can KNOW who holds our future.  As TRUE BELIEVERS, we can REFLECT on our PAST, our life before we came to the SAVING KNOWLEDGE of Jesus Christ, and see where we have come from and where we are NOW, and more importantly where we are headed. 

 

We, who once were like those who are still living in sin and are dead in their transgressions, can REFLECT on where we have been, having followed the ways of this old, sin-laden, world, and doing the bidding of the devil, himself, and on our way to an eternity in HELL, the place of ETERNAL torment, torture, pain, agony and despair.  We had NO HOPE for our future, because of the DISOBEDIENT spirit that was working within us. 

 

 Those who are NOW, TRUE BELIEVERS, because of God’s GREAT LOVE and AMAZING GRACE, and because He is RICH in MERCY, and has made us ALIVE with Christ when we were dead in our transgressions and sins. NOW we have the HOPE of HEAVEN--- FOR IT IS BY GRACE WE HAVE BEEN SAVED!!!

 

We now have HOPE for the FUTURE, and an ETERNAL home with Father God and His Beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  We CAN and SHOULD REJOICE in the fact that we have such a BLESSED FUTURE.  And that we are not STILL on the road to Hell, with NO HOPE at all. 

 

You too can come to the Only One who holds your future in His mighty hands, and wants to bring you OUT of your DARKNESS and into the BLESSED LIGHT, and to give you a SAVING KNOWLEDGE of Jesus Christ, and to secure for you the BLESSED HOPE of an eternity in Heaven.  You can receive this HOPE by coming to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and the HOPE of HEAVEN for ALL ETERNITY and LOOK FORWARD to the FUTURE!  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“How to Begin a New Year”

 

 

Show me Your ways, Lord, teach me Your paths.  Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.       Psalm 25:4-5

 

King David was a man after God’s own heart, but he was a man in the flesh, and at times he stumbled and fell from the graces of God.  But, nevertheless his heart hungered after God and the things of God.

 

David was successful as a king, due to his relationship with God, even though he failed at times, he loved the LORD God with his every being.  When he sinned against God, he confessed his sins to Him and sought FORGIVENESS.  David had a strong FAITH and TRUST in the ALMIGHTY God.  This psalm is a conservation that David had with God, in regards to the TRUST he had in God.

 

We are facing a New Year, a year packed full of uncertainties.  I believe that these words, spoken by a godly king, to the One who is in COMPLETE control of this Universe and EVERYTHING in it, are words that expresses a HEARTFELT desire, one that the TRUE BELIEVER should feel, going into the unknown.   

 

We should implore our Heavenly Father to SHOW us His ways, or to make known to us His will, to seek His face.  We should implore Him to TEACH us His paths, to guide our steps during this journey into the unknown.  We should implore Him to GUIDE us in His TRUTH or WORD, which is TRUTH and to TEACH us what His Word means and HOW we can apply it to our lives, especially going into a brand new year.  

 

When we do this, it exemplifies our FAITH and TRUST in Him, and not in our own abilities or on our own merits.  We can face a new year with CONFIDENCE knowing our God and Savior is in control and our HOPE will be settled in Him. 

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you do not have a relationship with Him.  And you are facing the New Year with all its uncertainties ALONE, to fend for yourself and headed for an eternity in Hell, but God doesn’t want that for you.  He has a plan for your future if you will TRUST Him and come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for YOU, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and TRUST Him to SHOW you His ways, to TEACH you His paths, to GUIDE you in His Word, which is TRUTH, and to be with you through the UNKNOWN of a New Year!   Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter---asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.        2 Thessalonians 2:1-2

 

Nobody knows for sure ALL that will happen in the year 2017.  However, people make plans and some of those plans may come to completion, but they may encounter problems along the way, which they did not KNOW would happen.   So it is with facing a NEW YEAR, we make plans and resolutions, and some of them may come about, but there are other things that will pop-up along the way that we did not anticipate. 

 

One thing that we don’t really KNOW the answer to, is:  When will Jesus come back?  The believers in Thessalonica were being given some WRONG information on the coming of the Day of the Lord or the JUDGMENT of the Lord.  Some were saying they had received a false letter ALLEGEDLY from the Apostle Paul, indicating that it had already come, because of the great persecution that the believers were experiencing. 

 

So the Apostle Paul, in his concern for the believers and their spiritual welfare, wrote this letter, giving the believers the TRUE facts concerning the coming of the Day of the Lord.   He began by saying that the very first thing that will happen will be the RAPTURE of the TRUE BELIEVERS.  Those who are OBEDIENT and FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Those who have received the SALVATION of their souls, and the HOPE of Heaven, their ETERNAL HOME. 

 

This CLIMATIC event, the RAPTURE, could take place at any time, even before this day has ended.  If not, chances are EXTREMELY GOOD that it could happen within the NEW YEAR of 2017.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, the MOST IMPORTANT decision you will EVER make is TURNING AWAY from your sins and coming to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and ESCAPE the JUDGMENT by being RAPTURED as a TRUE BELIEVER in Christ Jesus.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
