“Adam’s Sin vs God’s Grace!”
…The result of
God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s
free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of
many sins. For the sin of this one man,
Adam, caused death to rule over many.
But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness,
for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one
man, Jesus Christ.-------Romans 5:16-17
I believe
these verses bring to light the great difference between SIN and GRACE. Sin leads to CONDEMNATION and grace leads to FORGIVENESS
and RIGHTEOUSNESS. Sin leads to a
SPIRITUAL death, and grace leads to SPIRITUAL life.
Adam’s sin,
the very first sin of mankind, brought with it the sinful nature that EVERY
person is born with. When we are born we are born with a sinful nature, the
desire to sin is innate within our very being.
We develop the desire to sin as very young children. Lying, selfishness, disrespect, taking things
that don’t belong to us, unruliness, rebellion, etc. As we grow and mature our sinful nature grows
towards other more intense sins. Some of
which are so despicable and gross that it is inconceivable to the hearts of
some people what can be carried out by others.
Sin that leads to CONDEMNATION and SPIRITUAL DEATH.
God’s grace,
however is GREATER than our sins. Grace leads us to being made RIGHT with God
and the FORGIVENESS of our sins, all of which leads to our triumph over sin and
our sinful nature. Oh, we still commit sins,
but when we do we are CONVICTED of those sins and it is our part to come to
God, confessing those sins and asking for His forgiveness, which He FREELY
gives. Thanks be to our Lord Jesus
Christ and His SUPREME sacrifice, on an old rugged cross, the shedding of His
life’s blood for ALL the poor, condemned sinners, like YOU and ME. God’s grace
leads to FORGIVENESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS and SPIRITUAL LIFE.
If you have
not given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you have NOT experienced His
MARVELOUS GRACE. But you are going to
experience CONDEMNATION and SPIRITUAL DEATH, if you don’t turn AWAY from your
sins and turn TOWARDS God’s GRACE, by:
CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS,
BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven
making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and
His GRACE, and be made RIGHT with Him.
Do it NOW, while you STILL can.
He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
