And this is the judgment:  the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light because their works were evil.  For everyone who does wicked things hates the Light and does not come to the Light, lest his works should be exposed.  But whoever does what is true comes to the Light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”         John 3:19-21

 

We live in a WICKED, DEPRAVED world, where SIN runs rampant, and in some cases, seems to be the norm.  Those whose lifestyle is based and lived in immoral DARKNESS, will face JUDGMENT, this is something that they can be sure of.  

 

Mankind loves the DARKNESS, because it hides their EVIL practices.  And they don’t want their sinful lifestyle disturbed.  So they prefer to STAY and PARTICIPATE in their IMMORAL DARKNESS, rather than to have their world ROCKED by the Light.

 

The LIGHT is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, Jesus said:  “I am the Light of the World.  Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of Life.”  (John 8:12)  He is referring to the TRUE BELIEVER, who IS a sinner, but they are a REDEEMED SINNER, one who has come OUT of the DARKNESS and into the presence of the LIGHT.  And they have the LIGHT of LIFE. 

 

The Unbeliever, chooses to stay in their IMMORAL DARKNESS, because they fear that if they come to the LIGHT, they will have to give up their sinful lifestyle and their EVIL DEEDS will be exposed.  Thus they are facing a DESTINY of DOOM, which is an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE.  Is this your DESTINY?  It doesn’t have to be: If you will come to the LIGHT, which is JESUS CHRIST, for the SALVATION of your SOUL. 

 

This is what you MUST do:  You MUST be WILLING to TURN FROM your sinful lifestyle, or IMMORAL DARKNESS and TURN TO God, (the LIGHT), and BELIEVE that Jesus died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and come OUT of your IMMORAL DARKNESS, and into the GLORIOUS LIGHT.  Change your DOOMED DESTINY to a HEAVENLY one.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
