"Seek the Lord!"

“Seek the Lord!”

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.   Jeremiah 29:13

Seek the LORD while He may be found; call to Him while He is near.    Isaiah 55:6



To me this word SEEK, means to LOOK DILIGENTLY for something or someone, and then it says: “With ALL your HEART,” that means to LOOK DILIGENTLY, with EVERY PART of your being, until you FIND IT.  And that was what God told Jeremiah, “you will SEEK Me and FIND ME when you SEARCH for Me with ALL your HEART.” 



To me, this is what I think is “SOUL-SEARCHING” when you search for the LORD with ALL your being.  For the TRUE BELIEVER, it is a time when we desire to grow CLOSER, and we SEEK a MORE INTIMATE, CLOSER relationship with God.  And when we NEED to do some CLEANING -UP of our souls, and times when we SEEK answers to our prayers, or when we are in DESPAIR, those are the times when we SHOULD SEEK the very FACE of our LORD GOD. 



Isaiah, tells us that we SHOULD; “SEEK the LORD while He may be found;” This means that God will NOT always offer His invitation to SALVATION for mankind.  In Genesis 6:3 it says: “Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall NOT strive with man forever.”  So, there is a DEADLINE for mankind to be able to approach the LORD for their SALVATION.  In other words, God will deal with mankind, for a certain length of time, and when that time comes, there will be NO MORE opportunity for that lost person to come to God for their SALVATION.  Isaiah goes on to say that you should CALL to GOD, while He is NEAR. 



So, if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, do it TODAY, RIGHT NOW, because this may be your DEADLINE.  SEEK the LORD while He may be found.”  To do that you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS. And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  SEEK HIM NOW! While you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!
