 “Incorruptible Love”

 

Grace be with all those who LOVE our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible LOVE.             Ephesians 6:24

 

 Monday, February 14, VALENTINES DAY, is a day in which MANY will be expressing their LOVE to their SWEETHEARTS, or maybe just an expression of a DEVOTED FRIENDSHIP.  Nevertheless, this verse of Scripture, is the Apostle Paul’s parting words to the BELIEVERS in Ephesus. And it is also a message for ALL BELIEVERS of ALL TIMES.   Paul asked for God’s AMAZING GRACE to be with ALL who LOVE the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  GRACE is God giving His TRUE CHILDREN, what they do NOT DESERVE.  BLESSINGS, NOT JUST BLESSINGS, but the BEST of the BEST, ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  

 

We all have a SINFUL NATURE, but for those who TRULY LOVE the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and have GIVEN our HEARTS to Him, and asked for His FORGIVENESS, we are the TRUE CHILDREN of GOD, and He has and will CONTINUE to LAVISH us with His AMAZING GRACE, even though we DON’T DESERVE IT.  

 

Paul is saying that he wishes GOD’S AMAZING GRACE be on ALL those who LOVE the LORD JESUS CHRIST, with INCORRUPTIBLE LOVE.  What does he mean by INCORRUPTIBLE LOVE? He is talking about a LOVE that CANNOT be PERVERTED, BRIBED or TAINTED in ANY WAY. A LOVE that will NOT DISSOLVE, DISINTEGRATE or DECAY.  It is IMPERISHABLE and EVERLASTING, it is an UNFAILING LOVE, It is an AGAPE type LOVE, and can ONLY be POSSIBLE through the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD.   And to be able to LOVE the LORD JESUS CHRIST, with this kind of LOVE, you MUST POSSESS the INDWELLING of the HOLY SPIRIT.  To do that, you MUST BECOME a TRUE CHILD of the LIVING GOD.  

 

Here is what you MUST DO:  1.  ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who shed His BLOOD to take away our SINS, and bring us SALVATION by GOD’S AMAZING GRACE.  2.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died on an OLD RUGGED CROSS, for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  3.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  4.  YOU MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  5. ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and LOVE the LORD JESUS CHRIST, with an INCORRUPTIBLE LOVE!  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
