“Take Notice!”

 

 

Does He who fashioned the ear not hear?  Does He who formed the eye not see?  Does He who disciplines nations not punish?  Does He who teaches mankind lack knowledge?  The Lord knows all human plans; He knows that they are futile.        Psalms 94:9-11

 

The world in which we live is doomed, because of its rebellion against the Holy Righteous God of the Universe.  The One who created ALL that has been created.  The One who controls ALL of creation.  And the One who will JUDGE mankind.

 

People, since the time of the FALL of MANKIND, has sinned against Creator God, they have blatantly sinned against Him and ALL that He is.  It seems as though they have NO morals, NO scruples, and NO decency, but instead they tend to flaunt their sins in the very face of the ALMIGHTY GOD, who will one day JUDGE them for their UNGODLY behavior.

 

The Psalmist says to the wicked:  “When will you become wise?”  “Does He who fashioned the ear not hear? Does He who formed the eye not see?”  Of course He HEARS and SEES, He even KNOWS your EVERY thought, before you think it.  He is the OMNISCIENT, HOLY, RIGHTEOUS God who HEARS, SEES, and KNOWS ALL things. 

 

He who disciplines nations WILL judge and punish those nations, which have become a haven of wickedness and depravity.  Nations that have NOT followed His laws and statutes, but have made their own ungodly laws that have led their citizens astray.  Laws that have embraced sinful, wicked, ungodly behavior.  JUDGMENT is coming. 

 

He who teaches mankind, the One who gives WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE to mankind is HIMSELF, WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE.  Therefore He is ABLE to give it to those who seek it.

 

He is the OMNISCIENT God who KNOWS all the human plans, and He knows that they are FUTILE.  The plans of mankind that are USELESS, HOPELESS, VAIN, WORTHLESS and INEFFECTIVE.  Plans that are NOT His plans, but based on worldly ideas and ambitions.  GOD KNOWS IT ALL! 

There is NO HIDING of anything man hears, sees, says, or does.  TAKE NOTICE, Judgment Day is coming.  Are you READY?  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then I would say that you are NOT READY.  You have the opportunity NOW to change directions, and escape Hell and ALL of its pain, agony, heartache, torment, and despair.  You do that by:  Coming to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and BE READY for His return.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.  “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”         Isaiah 55:8-9

 

The word “OMNISCIENT” means, “All KNOWING.”  Our God is an ALL KNOWING God, whose thoughts supersede any thought that mankind could or would ever have.  The mind of man was created by the Almighty God, and the wisdom and knowledge of mankind comes from God. 

 

So a fair question to ask is, “WHO can know the mind of God?”  Not even the MOST intelligent human being on the face of the earth can know God’s mind.  It is God who gives WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE to mankind, and He gives us what He wants us to have.  King Solomon, the WISEST man who has ever lived, did NOT and could NOT know God’s thoughts, and therefore, humbled himself before the Almighty God and requested God to give him the WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING to govern the nation of Israel.    And God, being pleased with Solomon, for asking for WISDOM and NOT riches, blessed Solomon with ABUNDANT WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING and riches and honor as well. 

 

We live in a time when mankind doesn’t seem all that interested in KNOWING God, much less KNOWING His thoughts, that is if they were able to KNOW His thoughts.  One thing we do KNOW about God’s THOUGHTS and WAYS is that, in His infinite WISDOM, He provided a PLAN for the SALVATION of mankind’s soul.  Whether you are a BELIEVER or NOT, it is His PLAN to SAVE your wretched, sinful, lost soul from an eternity in the very depths of Hell, the place of UNENDING torture, torment, agony, heartache, despair, and pain.  You are given a choice to ACCEPT His PLAN or reject it.  Since you are HIS creation, He has the authority to send you to Hell, if you continue to REJECT His SON, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Or to welcome you into ALL the glories of Heaven, IF you ACCEPT His SON.  The choice is YOURS to make. 

 

He is offering you that opportunity NOW.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are NOT His Child, you are His creation, but NOT His Child and you are headed for Hell.  You can TURN AWAY from your sinful life-style and TURN to Him by:  Coming to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become a TRUE BELIEVER, seeking GODLY WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING concerning God’s THOUGHTS and WAYS.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

 

 

"No Other God!"

“No Other God!”

 

 

“…There is no God apart from Me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but Me.”  “Turn to Me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”                                Isaiah 45:21b-22

 

“There is NO God apart from Me.”  Words spoken from the very mouth of the Living God, through His FAITHFUL servant, Isaiah, proclaiming His pre-eminence and His RIGHTEOUSNESS.

 

He is the ONLY God and Savior; who is QUALIFIED and CAPABLE of saving mankind from the guilt and condemnation of a SINFUL life, and ALL of its ramifications.  There is NONE other, but God ALONE who is ABLE to deliver SALVATION to a lost and dying world.  He is the ONLY cure!

 

So why doesn’t mankind come to Him for their SALVATION?  Many are blinded to the sins that they commit, they have the mindset that the sinful life-style they are living is the norm.  Well, I guess it is for a LOST, CORRUPT, DEPRAVED, SINFUL WORLD.  However, that excuse will not be acceptable to the Almighty God, when you stand before Him on the Day of Judgement.  Nor will the excuse of being a GOOD person, who was kind and considerate of others, and did not participate in any wrong doing.  Or they didn’t know they needed to be SAVED, because they weren’t raised in a Christian home.

 

God manifests Himself in so many different ways, and those who stand before the Judgement Seat of God will be without excuse.  Romans 1:20 says;  “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature---have been CLEARLY seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are WITHOUT EXCUSE.”  

 

But they are NOT without HOPE and an invitation to come to God NOW, He says; “Turn to Me and be SAVED.  He is offering you the opportunity NOW to come to Him for the SALVATION of your soul.  You NEED to do it NOW, because you may not have a tomorrow.  And we are expecting the return of Jesus Christ any day, it could be TODAY!  Are you READY?  You can be if you will come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and turn AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN to Him.  He is GOD, and there is NO OTHER.  Do it NOW, while your still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“PRAYER:  The Lifeline for Living in Anxious and Uncertain Times”

 

 

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.       Philippians 4:6-7

 

We are living in ANXIOUS and UNCERTAIN times.  And a lot of people, to include some Christians WORRY and FRET over their lives and the lives of their children and grandchildren. 

 

We are in an election year, when the results of our voting will determine many things that will set into precedence the laws that will govern our society, and many will determine the lifestyle that will be set into existence for our children and grandchildren, which makes us WORRY and be ANXIOUS.  But the Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Philippians says:  “Do NOT be ANXIOUS about anything, but in EVERY situation, by PRAYER and PETITION, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”  To WORRY and be ANXIOUS over situations, many of which you have NO control over, is a SIN.  It is, in essence, saying that you don’t have FAITH and TRUST in the ALMIGHTY GOD, who in MOST cases, is the ONLY ONE who can change things.  To be CONCERNED is a much better mindset than to be ANXIOUS.

 

The Apostle Paul then instructs us on how we should voice our concerns to God.  We must come before Him with a PRAYERFUL attitude, and PETITION, making our requests known, with THANKSGIVING, the attitude of a THANKFUL HEART for what God is going to do, in response to the requests that are made. 

 

When we come to Him this way we will then be able to experience the PEACE of GOD, which goes BEYOND ALL understanding, which means it is MORE than the mind can comprehend or the human heart can hold.  This PEACE will GUARD or PROTECT your HEARTS and MINDS  in Christ Jesus, until we are RAPTURED out of this ANXIOUS, WRETCHED, SIN-LADEN WORLD.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, and received the SALVATION of your soul, then you live with ANXIOUSNESS and FRETFULNESS, and possess NO PEACE, but will reap the HORRENDOUSNESS of Hell for ALL of eternity, with NO WAY of ESCAPE.  However, God is offering you the opportunity to come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be NOT ANXIOUS about ANYTHING, but by PRAYER and PETITION, with THANKSGIVING, make your REQUESTS known to the ALMIGHTY GOD who is ABLE.  And receive the PEACE of GOD, which GUARDS your MINDS and HEARTS.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Set Your Mind on Things Above!"

“Set Your Mind on Things Above!”

 

 

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.         Colossians 3:2-4

 

The Apostle Paul is encouraging the TRUE BELIEVERS in Colossae to SET or CONCENTRATE on things ABOVE, and not on earthly things.  They had given their HEARTS and LIVES to God, and SPIRITUALLY died to their OLD life, therefore they needed to SET their MINDS on the things of the Heavenly realm.

 

In Paul’s letter to the Corinthians, Paul says:  “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all thing have become new.” A SPIRITUAL metamorphosis takes place when one comes to Christ for the SALVATION of their soul.  This means that that person’s HEART and MIND should NOT be SET on the earthly things, their OLD life and its SINFUL NATURE, but they should be CONCENTRATING on their NEW life and looking FORWARD to their Heavenly destination, NOT looking BACK and CONCENTRATING on their OLD, SINFUL LIFE, and its earthly moorings. 

 

When we come to Jesus Christ for the SALVATION of our soul, we DIE to our OLD way of life and its evil, sinful nature and we will receive NEW life in Him.  Our life is ‘HIDDEN’ with Christ in God, which basically means that it is CONCEALED and SECURE in Christ.  In fact Christ IS the very LIFE of the TRUE BELIEVER.

 

When Christ comes back at the RAPTURE, those, TRUE BELIEVERS, who have died in Him, will appear with Him, and then will receive their NEW, GLORIFIED bodies, and those who are alive at that time will be caught up in the air and will be changed into their GLORIFIED bodies in the twinkling of an eye, and will remain with Him in glory.  This is “SHOUTIN’ TIME!!!”  

 

Every day we are getting closer and closer to that time of the RAPTURE of the TRUE BELIEVERS.  Most are waiting with GREAT anticipation for that NEXT CLIMATIC EVENT.  Are you ready?  Is your HEART and MIND set on the things ABOVE?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then your mindset is NOT on the Heavenly things, because you are so consumed with the earthly things, and you are NOT a TRUE BELIEVER, but instead you are LOST and DYING spiritually, and are headed for HELL, the place of UNENDING torture, torment, agony and despair, with NO WAY of escape.  However, God is giving you the opportunity to come to Him, NOW, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and SET your MIND on the things ABOVE, and receive your NEW LIFE, hidden with Christ in God.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"A Living Hope"

“A Living Hope”

 

 

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.  This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.          1Peter 1:3-5

 

When a person comes to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART for the SALVATION of their soul they receive what Jesus told Nicodemus, when Jesus told him that he MUST be BORN AGAIN, (John 3:1-21).    They receive NEW BIRTH into a LIVING HOPE, which is based on the resurrection of the LIVING Jesus Christ. 

 

They are given an INHERITANCE that is INCORUPTIBLE, it can NEVER perish, spoil or fade.  And it is KEPT in Heaven for that NEW TRUE BELIEVER, who through their STEADFAST FAITH is SHIELDED by God’s own power, even in their darkest hour, until the coming of the final stage of their SALVATION, which will be revealed in the LAST TIME.

 

This final step of the SALVATION of the soul will come when Christ Jesus is REVEALED in the LAST TIME.  When He RETURNS to earth, during the SECOND COMING.  This is the LIVING HOPE for ALL TRUE BELIEVERS. 

 

What is your status?  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you do NOT have a LIVING HOPE, but you do have a CONDEMNED SOUL.  However, God is giving you an invitation NOW to come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and receive a NEW BIRTH into a LIVING HOPE, with an INHERITANCE awaiting you in HEAVEN.  Do it NOW, while you still can!  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“The Mind Governed by the Flesh, Versus The Mind Governed by the Spirit”

 

 

For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set of the Spirit is life and peace.  Now if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.      Romans 8:6, 10

 

The one living in the flesh has the mind-set of the flesh, up to the time they accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.  At that time the Holy Spirit comes and indwells the TRUE BELIEVER and gives life to that person, eternal life, in Heaven, they will not be separated from God, but will be a part of His family, and possess the SALVATION of their soul.  Their name will be written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life indicating that they belong to God.

 

When a TRUE BELIEVER sins they come under the convicting power of the Holy Spirit that indwells them, and when they CONFESS their sins, God is faithful to FORGIVE them of their sins, (1John 1:9)  and their fellowship, with Father God is RESTORED.   

 

However the one who has the mind-set of the flesh and is GOVERNED by the FLESH experiences a double death, their body dies and they experience a spiritual death as well, which means that they are separated from God and ALL that is GOOD.  Their soul ends up in Hell, the place of unending torture, torment, agony and despair, because their mind-set of the flesh is hostile to God and does not submit itself to God’s law, those who are GOVERNED by the FLESH cannot please God, nor are they acceptable to Him.

 

So are you GOVERNED by the FLESH or are you GOVERNED by the SPIRIT?  If you are GOVERNED by the FLESH, you will face that double death and be sentenced to an eternity in Hell.  But God is giving you the opportunity to become a TRUE BELIEVER and to have the mind-set of the Spirit, and reap the benefits of His FREE gift of SALVATION.  You do that by; coming to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for You and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be GOVERNED by His SPIRIT, with your name written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and on your way to HEAVEN.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
