“The Depravity of the Mind = DEATH!”

 

 

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.  They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.  They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice.  They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.  Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them.       Romans 1:28-32

 

 

God has allowed mankind to make their own decisions, concerning their lifestyle and their destiny.  They have the options of ACKNOWLEDGING God or TOTALLY REJECTING God.  When they decide to REJECT God and His ways, God turns them over to a DEPRAVED mind, and they do what they ought NOT to do. 

 

Their hearts are then filled with EVERY KIND of WICKEDNESS, EVIL, GREED and DEPRAVITY.  They are filled with ENVY, MURDER, STRIFE, DECEIT and MALICE.  They become GOSSIPS, SLANDERS, GOD-HATERS, INSOLENT, ARROGANT AND BOASTFUL; they invent ALL manner of ways of doing evil; they DISOBEY their parents; they have NO UNDERSTANDING, NO FIDELITY, NO LOVE, NO MERCY.  They are DEPRAVED in EVERY way.  And they are LAWLESS and CORRUPT.

 

Although they know God’s law, that those who participate in doing such UNGODLY, LAWLESS deeds, DESERVE DEATH and not just PHYSICAL death, but SPIRITUAL death also.  They STILL continue to do such WICKED, EVIL, DEPRAVED things and not only do THEY do them, but they APPROVE of those who practice them.  This sounds like the country in which we live.  The heart of mankind is DECIETFULLY WICKED.  The ONLY HOPE is JESUS CHRIST. 

 

If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to GOD then, you are one of those who are REJECTING God, and you possess a DEPRAVED mind and your heart is full of SIN, and DEPRAVITY.  You may know about GOD and His ways, but you don’t TRULY KNOW God.  And you are headed for an ETERNITY separated from ANYTHING GOOD.  You will be in Hell FOREVER, with NO way of escape.  However, God in His ABUNDANT MERCY and AMAZING GRACE, is offering you the opportunity to come to Him NOW with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and turn AWAY from the wickedness, evilness, and depravity, of this old sinful, depraved world and turn to GOD for an ETERNITY in Heaven. Be very careful, then, how you live--- not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.  Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.        Ephesians 5:15-17

 

The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the believers in Ephesus, gives them instructions on how to live their lives so that they might be a LIGHT to those who are living in the DARKNESS of an EVIL world.  If you are a TRUE BELIEVER, then his message is for you, because you are the LIGHT that dispels the DARKNESS.

 

He instructs them to live WISELY, not to compromise their FAITH or be persuaded to engage in a worldly lifestyle.  Or to go along with ideals and plans that are STRICTLY against God’s will.  But they should KNOW the will of God, which is to be a LIGHT to illuminate the path to a SAVING KNOWLEDGE of Jesus Christ for those who are living in DARKNESS. 

 

We are truly living in days that are evil.  Even are own government is corrupt, certain individuals are treated with standards that are different than the norm.  They commit crimes that if an ordinary person would commit, they would be indicted and sent to prison without a blink of an eye, yet those certain individuals, are allowed to run for the highest office in the land. 

 

And as TRUE BELIEVERS we are at risk of losing our RELIGIOUS FREEDOMS, because that one individual has promised to work at changing the belief system of Evangelicals and Catholics, concerning Homosexuality and abortion, two very ungodly acts, which the Word of God addresses to be sins, which will keep those participating in them out of Heaven.   

 

Voting for the right, uncorrupt, person is VERY IMPORTANT for many reasons.  One of the main reasons is; it will PREVENT our nation from becoming a SOCIALIST country, in which our freedoms that we hold now, would be gone and we would be ruled by the government.  Our children and grandchildren would be taught that the government will come before everything and everyone else, even family members.  Not to mention that their spiritual upbringing would be null and void. 

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE PLATFORM IS THAT THE PERSON YOU ARE VOTING FOR UPHOLDS, WHAT ARE THEIR POLICIES AND HOW WILL IT EFFECT YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN IN THE FUTURE.  WE ARE LIVING IN EVIL CORRUPT TIMES, AND I BELIEVE THAT GOD IS GIVING US ONE LAST OPPORTUNITY TO STAND FOR OUR FREEDOMS AND RELIGIOUS FREEDOMS.  WILL YOU MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you HAVE another DECISION to make.  This DECISION will determine your eternal destiny.  Where will you spend your ETERNITY?  God is giving you the opportunity to change from your EVIL, CORRUPT, and SINFUL lifestyle and to come out of the DARKNESS and into the LIGHT of His LOVE by:  Coming to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART and CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and live in these EVIL DAYS as the LIGHT that DISPELS the DARKNESS OF SIN.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be?  You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.  That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.  But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.  So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him.          2 Peter 3:11-14

 

The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare, (v. 10).  This is a description of the destruction of everything within the celestial and earthly realms.  It is a picture of what will take place at the very end of the ages. 

 

The Apostle Peter asks the question:  “What kind of people ought you to be?”  We, who are TRUE BELIVERS, BLOOD BOUGHT, REDEEMED, CHILDREN of the LIVING GOD, should live HOLY and GODLY lives, and work hard at being found SPOTLESS, BLAMELESS and at PEACE with God, which will be a STRONG EVIDENCE or WITNESS, to those who are lost in their sins, and that it may bring them to a SAVING KNOWLEDGE of their NEED for the SALVATION of their souls, which will speed the coming of the DAY of GOD.  This is His desire; that NOBODY perish, but that ALL would come to Him for their SALVATION.

 

What will happen to the environment as we know it. The Bible says, The Day of God will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.  In other words, it will be scourged by fire, but take heart, God will KEEP His promise and will create a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH, a place where RIGHTEOUSNESS will dwell.  A place that is COMPLETELY VOID of sin, corruption, depravity, hatred, agony, despair, heartache, torture, torment, and pain, all the attributes of a place called HELL.  The abode of those who have NOT given their HEART and LIFE to God, but have REJECTED His gift of SALVATION and have lived their lives in rebellion and sin against God. 

 

However, He is giving you the opportunity NOW, to TURN AWAY from your sinfulness and come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and  become a TRUE BELIEVER, who is looking forward to the Day of God, and a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

 

 

"Hope"

“Hope!”

 

 

But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love.  We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.  In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name.  May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in You.         Psalm 33:18, 20-22

 

 

We are living in PERILOUS times, with a lot of uncertainties.  The SECURITY of our Nation, the ECONOMY, UNEMPLOYMENT, HEALTHCARE (Obamacare), the EDUCATION of our children and grandchildren.  IMMIGRATION, LAWLESSNESS, etc. 

 

And now we are faced with probably the BIGGEST decision we’ll ever make as a nation, which is the election of a President, a Commander in Chief, who will determine the FUTURE of our precious children and grandchildren.  There are MANY questions that we must answer and scrutinize concerning the choices we must make.  It becomes a stressful time for many as we deal with all the other problems we face daily. 

 

But I believe that the Psalmist of this particular Psalm, has the answer for us.  And that answer is HOPE, but before we can really have HOPE, we need TRUST.  We MUST have a strong TRUST in the Lord, in order to have HOPE in His abilities.  The Psalmist says that the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, and those who HOPE in His UNFAILING LOVE, this does NOT mean to be afraid of Him, but to hold Him with the UTMOST RESPECT and HONOR.  Then we are able to TRUST His hand.

 

The Psalmist goes on to say that: We wait in HOPE for the Lord; He is our HELP and our SHIELD.  Waiting is not an easy thing to do.  We are people who want it done NOW. However, it seems that many times we are made to WAIT on the Lord.  Waiting helps us to TRUST and gives us HOPE in God’s timing. 

 

So as we face these UNCERTAIN times.  We must HOPE in His UNFAILING LOVE, and TRUST His hand.  And while we WAIT, we NEED to PRAY, and TRUST in His Holy Name, and have HOPE in Him. 

 

 If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to Him, then you have NO HOPE, and you have NOBODY to TRUST.  You are LOST and DOOMED to an ETERNITY in Hell, the place of torment, torture, pain, agony and despair, with NO WAY of escape.  But God is offering you His UNFAILING LOVE and wants you to experience HOPE in His UNFAILING LOVE, and to TRUST His hand.  You can do that by:  Coming to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your Heart that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God then ACCEPT His gift of Salvation and put your HOPE in HIM.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Who is Wise?"

“Who is Wise?”

 

 

Who is wise and understanding among you?  Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.  But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.  Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.  For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.         James 3:13-16

 

The question posed by James was:  “Who is wise and understanding among you?”  Which means, who has moral insight and practical skills concerning the issues of life.  Wisdom is measured by the deeds one performs, and not so much by what is acquired by head knowledge.  One can have head knowledge, but not have the skills of the issues of life and therefore they miss the mark of being WISE. 

 

The TRULY WISE person seeks the TRUTH, and then applies that TRUTH to life in general.  The TRULY WISE person possesses HUMILITY.  An attribute that is seldom exemplified in those who self-proclaim their WISDOM.   Two attributes that usually accompanies “self-proclaimed” wisdom are “bitter envy” and “selfish ambition” these attributes are evident in those seeking PERSONAL GAIN.  James says:  “Do NOT boast about it or DENY the TRUTH.  Such “WISDOM” does NOT come down from heaven, but is earthly, unspiritual, and demonic.  Therefore, where you have BITTER ENVY and SELFISH AMBITION you have DISORDER and EVERY EVIL PRACTICE.

 

This, I believe, is the PROBLEM we are facing in our Nation, today, due to the fact that we have many in our government that possess BITTER ENVY and SELFISH AMBITION and denies the TRUTH.   In a few days we will go to the polls and vote.  As a Christian, I would like to ENCOURAGE the other fellow Christians to VOTE and consider the present condition of our Nation, and those who are running for the HIGHEST OFFICE in the land, and vote your convictions according to what you KNOW to be the TRUTH from the One who is the TRUTH.  Will you make the WISE decision?  I pray that you have been in MUCH prayer over this matter, which will determine the future for our precious children and grandchildren for many years to come. 

 

Be one who possesses MORAL INSIGHT and PRACTICAL SKILLS concerning the issues of life.  Be WISE and UNDERSTANDING.  Do NOT be one who participates in the earthly, unspiritual, and demonic deeds, which brings about DISORDER and EVIL PRACTICES.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are not in possession of TRUE, GODLY WISDOM, but may even be harboring BITTER ENVY and SELFISH AMBITION, and on your way to an eternity in Hell, the place of torment, torture, pain, agony and despair.  But you NOW have the opportunity to turn yourself around and come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART and CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become one who is WISE and UNDERSTANDING in TRUTH and receive the HOPE of Heaven.  Do it NOW, while you still can He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when His righteous judgment will be revealed.  God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”  To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life.  But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.          Romans 2:5-8

 

The people who have not given their HEART and LIFE to God, are those who possess an UNREPENTANT HEART, and are living in sin, because of their disobedience to God and His laws.  Such an individual is living with an UNREPENTANT HEART and are storing up God’s anger and wrath, against themselves, to be meted out to them on the day of God’s wrath, when His RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT will be revealed.

 

 The Scripture tells us that: “God will repay each person according to what they have done.”  For those who have an UNREPENTANT HEART, and are living in sin and rebellion against the Holy, Righteous God, and has REJECTED His Only Begotten Son and His SACRIFICE for the remission of their sins, they will face God’s anger and wrath, and will spend ALL of eternity in the place called HELL, the place of TORMENT, TORTURE, AGONY, MISERY, HEARTACHE, PAIN and DESPAIR, with NO way of ESCAPE.

 

 Those who have a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and have ACCEPTED God’s gift of SALVATION, and are living a life, persistently doing good, seeking glory, honor and immortality, all of which are attributes of a TRUE REPENTANT HEART,  they will spend ALL of eternity in HEAVEN, a place of perpetual PEACE, LOVE, JOY, TRANQUILITY, and  FOREVER FREE from TORMENT, TORTURE, AGONY, MISERY, HEARTACHE, PAIN and DESPAIR, with NO NEED for a way of escape, and they would NEVER want to escape HEAVEN, anyway. 

 

Which person are you?  The one with the TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and looking forward to an eternity  in Heaven, with God, the Father, and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  OR are you the one with the UNREPENTATN HEART, living in sin and rebellion against the Holy, Righteous, God, and storing up His anger and wrath against you, and with an ETERNAL DESTINSTION of HELL and ALL the HORRIBLE environment that awaits you?  If you are the one with the UNREPENTANT HEART, I want to give you some HOPE, by telling you that God, in His infinite MERCY and GRACE, is offering you the opportunity to change your ETERNAL FUTURE, by coming to Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and be one with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART and an ETERNAL FUTURE in Heaven.  Do it NOW, while you still can He’s waiting and coming soon!!!

If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.  But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.      1 John 1:6, 7

 

God is LIGHT, and, as a Christian, if a person PROFESSES to have fellowship with God, but yet they are living in DARKNESS, they LIE and they are NOT living out the TRUTH, in their own lives. 

 

A TRUE BELIEVER cannot have communion with God, who is LIGHT and STILL live in the DARKNESS, or SIN.  I believe that this is one LIE that Satan has brought upon the Christian community.  I believe that he has convinced many that they can have a RIGHT relationship with God, and can continue to live in DARKNESS.

 

It matters not what position you hold in life, or who you are associated with during your lifetime.  If you are WALKING or LIVING in the DARKNESS, (sin), in any shape or form, you DO NOT have fellowship with God.   You can PROFESS that you DO, till the cows come home, but if you are LIVING in DARKNESS, you DO NOT POSSESS a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God. 

 

However, if you WALK or LIVE in the LIGHT, as God is in the LIGHT, you not only have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him but with other TRUE BELIEVERS.  And you have the ASSURANCE that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, CLEANSES and PURIFIES you from ALL sin.

 

So, now is the question that you need to ask yourself.  “Are you PROFESSING a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God, and NOT really POSSESSING it?”  Well, if that’s the case you can correct it by coming OUT of the DARKNESS and into the LIGHT.  You do that by CONFESSING to God that you are living in the DARKNESS and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, then WALK away from the DARKNESS and come into the LIGHT.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are NOT LIVING in the LIGHT, but you are LIVING in DARKNESS, DOOMED for an ETERNITY in HELL.  But you are NOW given an opportunity to come out of the DARKNESS, SIN, and into the glorious LIGHT of God’s AMAZING GRACE.  You do that by:  Coming to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and PROFESS what you NOW POSSESS.    He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
