“The Depravity of the Mind = DEATH!”

 

 

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.  They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.  They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice.  They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.  Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them.       Romans 1:28-32

 

 

God has allowed mankind to make their own decisions, concerning their lifestyle and their destiny.  They have the options of ACKNOWLEDGING God or TOTALLY REJECTING God.  When they decide to REJECT God and His ways, God turns them over to a DEPRAVED mind, and they do what they ought NOT to do. 

 

Their hearts are then filled with EVERY KIND of WICKEDNESS, EVIL, GREED and DEPRAVITY.  They are filled with ENVY, MURDER, STRIFE, DECEIT and MALICE.  They become GOSSIPS, SLANDERS, GOD-HATERS, INSOLENT, ARROGANT AND BOASTFUL; they invent ALL manner of ways of doing evil; they DISOBEY their parents; they have NO UNDERSTANDING, NO FIDELITY, NO LOVE, NO MERCY.  They are DEPRAVED in EVERY way.  And they are LAWLESS and CORRUPT.

 

Although they know God’s law, that those who participate in doing such UNGODLY, LAWLESS deeds, DESERVE DEATH and not just PHYSICAL death, but SPIRITUAL death also.  They STILL continue to do such WICKED, EVIL, DEPRAVED things and not only do THEY do them, but they APPROVE of those who practice them.  This sounds like the country in which we live.  The heart of mankind is DECIETFULLY WICKED.  The ONLY HOPE is JESUS CHRIST. 

 

If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to GOD then, you are one of those who are REJECTING God, and you possess a DEPRAVED mind and your heart is full of SIN, and DEPRAVITY.  You may know about GOD and His ways, but you don’t TRULY KNOW God.  And you are headed for an ETERNITY separated from ANYTHING GOOD.  You will be in Hell FOREVER, with NO way of escape.  However, God in His ABUNDANT MERCY and AMAZING GRACE, is offering you the opportunity to come to Him NOW with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and turn AWAY from the wickedness, evilness, and depravity, of this old sinful, depraved world and turn to GOD for an ETERNITY in Heaven. Do it NOW, while you still can.   He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
