“Here Comes the Judge!”

 

Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for He comes, He comes to judge the earth.   He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His faithfulness.         Psalm 96:13

 

Here comes the Judge, Creator, Sustainer, and Lord of ALL things.  He is coming to bring JUDGMENT on the earth.  The Psalmist tells us that ALL CREATION should REJOICE, because He comes to JUDGE the world in RIGHTEOUSNESS. 

 

From the time of Adam and Eve, the earth has been under a curse, but when the Judge of ALL CREATION comes to JUDGE the world in RIGHTEOUSNESS, the curse will be lifted and replaced with BLESSING.  It will no longer moan and groan waiting for the Day of Redemption.  All of Creation will THRIVE and FLOURISH when RIGHTEOUSNESS reigns on earth.  ALL of nature will then sing a NEW SONG.

 

However, the Judge not only comes to JUDGE the earth, but He comes to JUDGE the PEOPLES or MANKIND, the Crown of God’s Creation.  And He comes in FAITHFULNESS.  SEPARATING the tares from the wheat or in this case, the UNBELIEVERS from the BELIEVERS.  The BELIEVERS will NOT be JUDGED on their SINS, because they are FORGIVEN.  But their WORKS will be JUDGED and TESTED by FIRE.  However, the UNBELIEVERS will be JUDGED by their SINS and mainly their UNBELIEF, and they will face CONDEMNATION and SENTENCING to an ETERNITY in HELL, the place of UNENDING torment, torture, pain, heartache, agony, and despair. 

 

But there is still HOPE for the UNBELIEVER, NOW, if your will come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and REJOICE with ALL of Creation, because “HERE COMES THE JUDGE!” Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

They tested God again and again and provoked the Holy One of Israel.      Psalm 78:41

 

It is a DANGEROUS thing to put God to the test or to CALL HIS HAND.  Here are examples of people who tried and the results of their “Calling God’s Hand”

 

1.       Adam and Eve:  When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food she took some and ate it.  She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.   Gen. 3:6.    So the Lord God banished them from the Garden of Eden.   He CURSED the ground that Adam would painfully toil with to grow food to eat.  Eve would suffer intense pain during childbirth and her husband would rule over them.  A sinful nature entered the soul of mankind.

2.      People of Noah’s Day:  The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.  So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created. “   For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth.  EVERY living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals were wiped from the earth.

3.      Pharaoh:  When the King of Egypt was told that the Israelites had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them.  The Egyptians ----all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen pursued the Israelites, and followed them into the Red Sea.  When the Israelites got safely across on dry land.  God brought the water of the Red Sea down on top of Pharaoh and his army. Not a one of them survived.

4.      Herod:  An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream.  “Get up,” he said, take the Child, Jesus and His mother and escape to Egypt.  Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.”  So Joseph took the child and His mother during the night and left for Egypt. Where he stayed until the DEATH of Herod. 

5.      Judas:  One of the twelve disciples agrees to BETRAY Jesus and sells Him for thirty pieces of silver. And hands Him over to the chief priests in the Garden of Gethsemane.  Judas was seized with remorse and returned the money to the chief priests.  Then he went and HANGED himself.

6.      The Unbeliever:  As it was in the day of Noah, so it is TODAY, many have become EXTREMELY WICKED to the point that GREAT wickedness has entered the hearts of mankind and EVERY EVIL inclination of the thoughts  of the human heart  is EVIL ALL the time.  And ALL the ways of wickedness that deceives those who are living in SIN, will lead them to CONDEMNATION and an ETERNITY in HELL.

 

So are you guilty of CALLING GOD’S HAND?  Are you flirting with DANGEROUS SITUATIONS?  You are if you have NEVER given your HEART and LIFE to God.  You will face the Judgment Seat for the sentencing of your sins, which will bring you an ETERNITY of TORMENT, TORTURE, PAIN, AGONY, HEARTACHE, AND DESPAIR, in Hell.  You have been given the opportunity to ESCAPE that scenario, if you will come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING, your sins to Him, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and DON’T CALL GOD’S HAND, but CALL on Him in prayer, DAILY.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

The Lord looks deep inside people and searches through their thoughts.                            Proverbs 20:27 (NCV)

Nothing in all the world can be hidden from God.  Everything is clear and lies open before Him, and to Him we must explain the way we have lived.        Hebrews 4:13 (NCV)

 

There are three attributes of God that most people seem to forget.  (1) He is OMNIPOTENT, (2) He is OMNIPRESENT, and (3) He is OMNISCIENT, meaning He is ALL POWERFUL, EVERYWHERE at the SAME TIME, and ALL KNOWING.  Therefore it is IMPOSSIBLE to HIDE ANYTHING, THOUGHT, WORD or DEED from the ALMIGHTY GOD. 

 

King Solomon tells us that “the Lord looks DEEP inside people and SEARCHES their thoughts.”  Now, this could be VERY SCARY, to be able to KNOW the THOUGHTS of people, especially those who are WICKED and PERVERTED.  But nevertheless, God KNOWS EVERY THOUGHT, we think, EVERY WORD, we speak, EVERY DEED, we do, BEFORE we think it, say it or do it.  He KNOWS us BETTER than we know ourselves.  He KNOWS our MOTIVES for thinking, saying and doing what we think, say and do. 

 

The writer of the Book of Hebrews tells us that, “Nothing in all the world can be HIDDEN from God.”  No matter how hard you try, you cannot HIDE a thing from Him, because He is ALL KNOWING and He is EVERYWHERE at the SAME TIME.  It is FUTILE, to try and HIDE ANYTHING from Him. 

 

The writer of Hebrews, goes on to say that, “EVERYTHING is CLEAR and LIES OPEN before Him and to Him we MUST explain the way we have lived.”  We will all stand before the Lord and give an account for the way we have lived.  For the UNBELIEVER, they will be JUDGED for their SINS, they will be SENTENCED to an ETERNITY in Hell, because of their UNBELIEF. And for the TRUE BELIEVER, their WORKS will be JUDGED and TRIED by FIRE, and ANYTHING done in the flesh, will be BURNED UP, and ONLY what was done by the leadership of the HOLY SPIRIT will ENDURE the fire and will determine their REWARDS. 

 

Where do you stand, as an UNBELIEVER, or a TRUE BELIEVER?  Whether you are an UNBELIEVER or a TRUE BELIEVER, you cannot HIDE ANYTHING from the ALMIGHTY GOD.  He KNOWS, and EVERYTHING is REVEALED to HIM.  If you are an UNBELIEVER, your destiny doesn’t look so promising.  Because you are THINKING, SAYING and DOING the devil’s bidding, and are headed for an ETERNITY in Hell, the place of UNENDING torment, torture, pain, agony, heartache, and despair.  You must come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING, your sins to Him, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God,, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and have you WORKS judged, which will bring rewards, and NOT your SINS, which will bring CONDEMNATION.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"The Name"

“The Name”

 

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.       Acts 4:12

For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. “        Romans 10:13

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.       

Philippians 2:9-11

 

Many parents-to-be look for that “special” name for their child.  And in looking for that “special” name, they seek out the meaning of the name, because they want to somehow, bless that child with the attributes of the name.  In other words, it is their HOPE that the child will live up to the meaning of its name.

 

An Angel of the Lord appeared to Mary delivering the GOOD NEWS of God’s plans.  The angel told her that she would conceive and give birth to a son, and that she should name Him, JESUS.  He told her that JESUS would be GREAT and would be called the Son of the Most High.  An Angel of the Lord, also appeared to Joseph and told him about the birth and that he and Mary should give the baby the NAME of JESUS, because He will SAVE His people from their sins.

 

This must have thrilled their hearts, but it probably caused them to wonder about this “SPECIAL” child.  Would He live up to His NAME?  I think that the life of Jesus was very indicative of His NAME.  And what a POWERFUL NAME it is!

 

The SALVATION of mankind is found in no other person, because there is NO OTHER NAME under Heaven given to mankind by which they might be SAVED.  EVERYONE who calls on the NAME of the Lord will be SAVED.  Our ETERNITY depends on the NAME of JESUS.  If we call on His NAME for the SALVATION of our souls we will be saved. 

 

How, you might ask, do I do that?  You need to come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, because the Holy Scriptures tells us that at the NAME of JESUS EVERY knee will bow, in Heaven and on earth and under the earth, and EVERY tongue will confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD!  And you MUST call on His NAME, in order to spend ALL of ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  So do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Temptation"

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.  And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.  But when you are tempted He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.       1 Corinthians 10:13

 

EVERYBODY is TEMPTED, time from time, but we, as TRUE BELIEVERS, can have VICTORY over the TEMPTATION.  TEMPTATION is a tool of the devil, and for the WEAK and IMMATURE BELIEVER, it could be devastating.  However, the Apostle Paul gives the Christians in Corinth, some ENCOURAGING advice. 

 

First, he tells them that they are not experiencing any TEMPTATION that is any different from what mankind has faced before.  Basically, he was saying that it was a common thing for mankind to go through.  And they should KNOW that the TEMPTATION itself would NOT OVERTAKE them, because God is FAITHFUL, and He will NOT let them be TEMPTED beyond what they could handle.  And when TEMPTATION comes to the TRUE BELIEVER, they can rest ASSURED that God will PROVIDE a WAY out, so that they might ENDURE the TEMPTATION. 

 

The problem that existed with the Corinthians, was that some had it in their HEARTS, NOT to ENDURE, but to INDULGE in the TEMPTATION, which for that individual, the TEMPTATION, then became a FULL-BLOWN SIN. 

 

Keep in mind that EVERYONE is TEMPTED, but NOT EVERYONE falls INTO the TEMPTATION.  For the TRUE BELIEVER, the Holy Spirit of God brings warnings to their HEART, and it is up to the TRUE BELIEVER to RUN AWAY from the TEMPTATION.    The UNBELIEVER is more apt to RUN TO the TEMPTATION, and the SIN-CYCLE continues in their life.  And they end up LOST for ALL of ETERNITY, unless they RUN AWAY from the TEMPTATION and RUN TOWARDS God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING their sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL their HEART that Jesus died for them, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and RUN AWAY from the TEMPTATIONS, and be ASSURED that He will provide a WAY of ESCAPE for them.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Born of God or Born of the Devil?"

“Born of God or Born of the Devil?”

 

But you know that He appeared so that He might take away our sins.  And in Him is no sin.  No one who lives in him keeps on sinning.  No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him.

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.

1 John 3:5, 6, 9

 

Jesus came into the world to SAVE the world from its sins.  We are NOT talking about the planet, but He came to SAVE those who reside on this planet.  He was the PERFECT SACRIFICE for the REDEMPTION of mankind, because of the fact that He was SPOTLESS, without SIN.

 

The person who comes to Jesus for their SALVATION, MUST come with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, not just their MINDSET, but a TRUE REPENTANCE from their HEART.  When they come with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, seeking FORGIVENESS for their sins.  God is FAITHFUL and JUST to FORGIVE them of their sins, and they then become “Born of God.”  They are a TRUE CHILD of the Living God.  And they will from that time on TURN AWAY from their SINFUL lifestyle, they will NO LONGER CONTINUE to LIVE in Sin. 

 

This is NOT to say they will never sin again, we all sin and fall short of God’s glory, but the TRUE CHILD of God does NOT CONTINUE living in sin.  If they CONTINUE in their sin, then it is EXTREMELY likely that they did NOT have a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, but only accepted the work of Christ in their mind.

 

The Scriptures tells us that NO ONE who is TRULY born of God will CONTINUE to SIN, because God’s seed remains in them, and they CANNOT CONTINUE to sin, they are more aptly to RUN AWAY from their sin then to embrace it, and LIVE in it.  But because the TRUE CHILD of God is TRULY BORN of GOD, they will have it in their HEART to STRIVE to LIVE as Christ lived, SINLESS.

 

Those who are “Born of the Devil,” will live a SINFUL life. They KNOW NOTHING of Jesus, in other words, they DO NOT have a relationship with Him, and really don’t care to have a relationship with Him, but would rather LIVE in their sin.  Those who THINK they are SAVED, but never TRULY REPENTED from their HEART, of their sins, and CONTINUE to SIN against God, are NOT “Born of God”, but still “Born of the Devil, and they will spend ALL ETERNITY in HELL, the place of UNENDING torment, torture, pain, heartache, agony and despair, with NO WAY of ESCAPE, unless they come to God NOW, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING their sins to Him, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL their HEART, that Jesus died for them, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be TRULY BORN of God.  If you are in these situations, you need to do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

 

 

"The Temple of the Holy Spirit"

“The Temple of the Holy Spirit”

 

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?  You are not your own; you were bought at a price.  Therefore honor God with your bodies.         1 Corinthians 6:19-20

 

The Apostle Paul was dealing with the sins that were prevalent within the Church of Corinth.  At this time he was dealing with the problems of sexual sins.  Sins which brought great harm to the human body.  He told them that whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.   Then He asks them this question:  “Do you no know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you?”  

 

Jesus, before His return to His Heavenly Father, told His disciples, that He would send them a Helper, Comforter, Teacher, all in the form of the Holy Spirit of God, to INDWELL them and ALWAYS be with them wherever they went.  He would be CONTINUOUSLY at their beckon call.  And so He did. 

 

But that’s NOT the end of the story, the fact is that the HOLY SPIRIT of God INDWELLS the body of EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.  He comes to them at the time of their CONVERSION, making the body of the TRUE BELIEVER the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit.  And WHEREVER they go or WHATEVER they DO, HEAR or SEE, they are exposing it upon the Holy Spirit, whom they received from God. 

 

Paul tells the church that they are NOT their own, they were bought at a price, and they should HONOR God with their bodies.   When a person comes to God for the SALVATION of their souls, they have been PURCHASED by the SHED BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST, who died for their sins.  He paid the ULTIMATE PRICE for the REDEMPTION of MANKIND.  And it is our part to HONOR GOD with our bodies, because they are the TEMPLE of God’s Holy Spirit, which INDWELLS EVERY TRUE BELIEVER. 

 

If you have GIVEN your HEART and LIFE to God, but you’re taking His Spirit places where He don’t want to go and doing, seeing and hearing things that He doesn’t want you to do, see, or hear.  You are GRIEVING God’s Spirit, and are in danger of SPIRITUAL CONSEQUENCES.  You need, first, to SEEK God’s FORGIVENESS, and TURN AWAY from those sinful deeds and CLEAN-UP the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God then you are NOT the TEMPLE of His Holy Spirit, but you are allowing Satan to make you a slave to your sins, and face an ETERNITY in HELL, the place of UNENDING torment, torture, pain, heartache, agony and despair, with NO WAY of ESCAPE, unless you TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become a TEMPLE of the HOLY SPIRIT.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
