All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work.------2 Timothy 3:16-17
How can a person, who is a Child of the Living God, expect to be a FAITHFUL, TRUSTWORTHY, PRODUCTIVE servant, if they aren't READING and STUDYING their TRAINING MANUEL (the Bible), God's Book of Instructions, on how we, His Children, and Servants are to conduct ourselves?
We need to be capable to TEACH others the TRUTH of His Word, and to correct the wrong that so easily besets us. It is THE TRAINING TOOL that God uses to PREPARE and EQUIP His Children to do EVERY GOOD WORK. So we need to NOT just READ His Word, the BIBLE, but we NEED to STUDY and KNOW what it says about how we should LIVE and SERVE the TRUE and LIVING GOD. To be the FAITHFUL, TRUSTWORTHY, and PRODUCTIVE servant that He has called us to be.
If you have never given your heart to Jesus and are not part of His Family, you are living a LIE, because the TRUTH is in His Word and I would venture to say you are NOT STUDYING, much less READING His Word, and are unaware of the REAL TRUTH of life, but you can be aware by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Undeserved Grace
I thank Jesus Christ our Lord, who has given me the strength for my work because He knew He could trust me. I used to say terrible and insulting things about Him, and I was cruel. But Christ had mercy on me because I didn't know what I was doing, and I had not yet put my faith in Him. Christ Jesus our Lord treated me with undeserved grace and has greatly blessed my life with faith and love just like His own.------1 Timothy 1: 12-14
These are the words of the Apostle Paul to Timothy, one of Paul's converts and fellow-servants in Paul's missionary journeys.
Paul is offering up THANKSGIVING to our Lord Jesus Christ, ACKNOWLEDGING that the STRENGTH that he has to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ is NOT his OWN strength, but that of the ONE who called him into that ministry.
We who have also been called to do certain ministries work with the SAME strength from the SAME power source, the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul says that he has obtained that STRENGTH because the Lord knew that He could TRUST him to SPREAD the GOOD NEWS that SALVATION comes from NONE OTHER than JESUS CHRIST.
But that was NOT always the case, before Paul's CONVERSION and CALLING, Paul was NOT a NICE guy. He went around causing havoc for the Christians. He was very good at his job of persecuting them.
However, Jesus Christ had different plans for this SINNER, so one day while Paul was on the dusty road to Damascus to round-up a new bunch of Christians to arrest and torture, he had a LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCE with the Lord, Himself.
Paul says of his LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCE, that Jesus treated him with UNDESERVED GRACE, which means that Paul couldn't EARN or BUY his SALVATION, but he received it ONLY by THE UNDESERVED GRACE of a LOVING, MERCIFUL HEAVENLY FATHER through the shedding of the PRECIOUS BLOOD of His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, Jesus Christ.
Then Paul says that God GREATLY BLESSED his life with FAITH and LOVE.
If you can relate with Paul's life before his conversion, at least the part of not knowing the Lord and living a life of doing and saying things you know are BAD, and SINFUL and you want the same UNDESERVED GRACE that Paul received, you can have it by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!

Nailed to the Cross
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives.------Galatians 5:24-25
One of the very FIRST things that a person coming to Jesus Christ MUST do is to NAIL those SINFUL passions and desires to His cross. There is a saying that holds a whole lot of WISDOM. The saying is: "One BAD apple SPOILS the whole bunch." when we come to Christ for the SALVATION of our souls, we CONFESS our sins to Him and we NEED to CONFESS ALL the passions or desires of our SINFUL nature to Him. Not holding onto a ONE of them, because when we keep just ONE of those SINFUL passions or desires they will "SPOIL" our WALK with Jesus Christ and our witness of Him will become tainted too.
When we come to Him we NEED to nail them ALL to the cross and leave them there. Then we NEED to FOLLOW His Spirit's LEADERSHIP in EVERY part of our lives and we do this by SUBMITTING ourselves TOTALLY to the Spirit's CONTROL.
If you have NEVER come to Jesus and NAILED ALL your SINFUL passions and desires to the cross, but you are ALLOWING those SINFUL passions and desires to rule YOU and SPOIL your life, you can make a BIG change in your situation by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Preparing for Battle
Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.------Ephesians 6:13
I believe that we most certainly are living in the "time of evil." It seems to surround us everyday. But God does NOT leave His children defenseless and without HOPE.
He has provided us with exactly what we need to be victorious in this battle between GOOD and EVIL. He has provided for each of His children an armor, one that is NOT made from metal, but one that is of His own design. One that can endure through the fiercest battle.
We are instructed to put on the: Belt of TRUTH, the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS, the sandals of the PREPARATION of the GOSPEL OF PEACE, to take up the shield of FAITH to stop the fiery arrows of the devil, then put on the helmet of SALVATION and last but definitely NOT least take up the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which is the WORD of GOD.
And when we have dressed for battle, we are READY to RESIST the enemy and will be VICTORIOUS over the battle, and will STILL be STANDING FIRM in our FAITH. So EVERY day, make sure you are clad in God's armor and DON"T leave off one single piece or it could put your FAITH in mortal danger.
If you have NEVER given your heart to Jesus, you cannot put on the armor of God, because you do NOT possess it. However God has provided a way for you to have His armor by following these steps: CONFESS your sins to God and ask for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!

Real Love
God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him.
This is real love-----not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.------1 John 4:9-10
Well this IS really something to wrap our heads around. The Almighty God, Creator of this universe, looked down on this earth and saw the HOPELESSNESS of mankind, and was moved with COMPASSION for the Crown of His creation. The BOUNDLESS LOVE that He had for mankind moved Him to providing a PERFECT SACRIFICE for His FALLEN creation, that SACRIFICE could ONLY be a SPOTLESS LAMB, His Son, Jesus Christ.
One of the important parts of this Scripture is the fact that this MONUMENTAL act was NOT prompted by OUR love for God, but because of HIS EVERLASTING love for us. This TRULY is REAL LOVE.

A Harvest of Blessing!
...Let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up.
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone-----especially to those in the family of faith------Galatians 6:9-10
When I was growing up, "doing good" was just what you did. It was part of life. People helped other people without requiring a fee for their services. Whenever there was a need, regardless of race, age or religion, there was a provision for the need.
Today, is a TOTALLY different story, in most places, some people want a fee for even the smallest deed, and some even want that fee paid in advance.
These verses of Scripture tells us if we do not get tired of doing GOOD we will REAP a HARVEST of BLESSING at just the RIGHT TIME. It also tells us that WHENEVER we have the OPPORTUNITY we should do GOOD TO EVERYONE, not just family or friends, but ANYONE, regardless of race, age, or religion, and ESPECIALLY to those that are Children of the Living God, those that are part of His Family. And we should do it without charging for what God has required of us and do it out of LOVE for God and His Family, then WATCH for the HARVEST of BLESSING!

Being Made Right With God!
We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes no matter who we are.------Romans 3:22
When we come to a SAVING knowledge of Jesus Christ and ACCEPT the facts, that God loved US so much that He wanted mankind to be made RIGHT with Him, so that we might be able to spend ALL eternity with Him. And that He provided a WAY for SINFUL mankind to come to RIGHTEOUS God by PROVIDING a SACRIFICE for the wretched, sins of mankind to be FORGIVEN, and that WAY was through the SELFLESS act of Jesus Christ and the shedding of His blood on an old rugged CROSS.
This gave SINFUL mankind the opportunity to be able to come to RIGHTEOUS God and spend ALL eternity with Him, NO MATTER who we are, for the Almighty God is NOT a respecter of persons, just a LOVING, RIGHTEOUS Heavenly Father, who desires to have fellowship with the CROWN of His creation. And has PROVIDED a WAY for that to happen.
If you are NOT able to have fellowship with our LOVING, RIGHTEOUS Heavenly Father, because you have NEVER been made RIGHT with Him, you can change that by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!
