“WARNING: DESTRUCTION AHEAD!”

 

 

The whole law is made complete in this one command:  “Love your neighbor as you love yourself. “   If you go on hurting each other and tearing each other apart, be careful, or you will completely destroy each other.        Galatians 5:14-15

 

In the Apostle Paul’s letter to the TRUE BELIEVERS in Galatia, he warned them of the dangers of following FALSE TEACHERS.  He implored them to SERVE one another in LOVE.  Then he made this proclamation:  “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” 

 

There were serious problems here, the churches in Galatia were divided by strife, and the followers of the legalists, those who followed only the law, and the Christians, those who followed the teachings of Jesus Christ, were hurting and tearing each other apart, not literally, but with words and accusations, maybe shouting matches, or protests.  Nevertheless, they were arguing and fighting with each other, which caused a rift within the churches, and thus their witness was compromised, in other words, their witness was being weakened and ineffective.  They were weakened and headed for DESTRUCTION.

 

In the Gospel of Luke, chapter eleven, verse seventeen, Jesus said:  “Every kingdom that is DIVIDED against itself will be DESTROYED.  And a family that is DIVIDED against itself will not continue.”  Paul’s greatest fear was that the DIVISION in the churches would DESTROY, not only their witness, but their very being.  So it is within our churches, today, we have DIVISIONS and STRIFE, which, by the way, is the working of Satan, to DESTROY the work of God.

 

And not only is it in our churches and families, but also in our nations.  A nation is the people who reside there, and when the people are DIVIDED and lashing out, trying to HURT and DEVOUR each other, it WEAKENS the nation and it is headed for DESTRUCTION.  REMEMBER, Jesus said that, “EVERY KINGDOM THAT IS DIVIDED AGAINST ITSELF WILL BE DESTROYED!” 

 

Is this the direction of YOUR nation?  There is so much HATRED, REBELLION, RIOTOUS BEHAVIOR, and SELF-ASSERTION, which is planted in the hearts of mankind, even to the point of being DESTROYED.  And this is ALL the work of Satan.  People are being influenced by his devilish ways, and following him all the way to HELL, the place of torment, torture, heartache, pain, agony, and despair.  Don’t let him lead you to your OWN DESTRUCTION.  But come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and TURN AWAY from following Satan, down the path to DESTRUCTION, and begin your journey, following Jesus Christ, on the path upward to Heaven.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

When the Helper comes, He will prove to the people of the world the truth about sin, about being right with God, and about judgment.  He will prove to them that sin is not believing in Me.  He will prove to them that being right with God comes from My going to the Father and not being seen anymore.  And the Helper will prove to them that judgment happened when the ruler of this world was judged.        John 16:8-11

 

The Helper, the Holy Spirit, has a three-fold ministry to mankind.  First, He proves to mankind, the TRUTH about SIN.  He brings CONVICTION and GUILT or He exposes SIN to a person’s mind showing them the TRUTH about SIN’S folly, and its CONSEQUENCES, and He shows them the TRUTH about the RIGHTEOUS and HOLY GOD and His plan for mankind.   SIN is rebellion against God.  The GREATEST SIN, today is the REJECTION of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Mankind has suppressed the TRUTH about God, therefore, it is NECESSARY for the Helper, the Holy Spirit, to CONVICT and CONVINCE mankind of their transgressions (SINS).

 

Secondly, the Helper, shows mankind the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Jesus Christ.   The Jewish people believed Jesus to be UNRIGHTEOUS, because of His crucifixion.  He was hung on a tree.  They thought He was cursed by God.  Galatians 3:13b, states. It is written in the Scriptures, ‘Anyone whose body is displayed on a tree is cursed.’   However, this was God’s plan to bring SALVATION to a LOST and DYING world.  And the RESURRECTION and ASCENSION of Christ vindicated Him as a RIGHTEOUS, HOLY, OBEDIENT SERVANT of the ALMIGHTY GOD.   

 

Thirdly, the Helper, shows mankind God’s JUDGMENT.  It is coming!  Jesus, by His death on the cross, has already DEFEATED the devil, and his execution is coming.  He has already been judged and found GUILTY!!  Those who are still in their SIN, rebelling against God Almighty, NEEDS to take NOTICE of the fact that Satan has been DEFEATED by Jesus and  JUDGED by God, the ONE who holds the POWER to JUDGE.  One day, Satan and those who are REBELLIOUS against God will meet their fate, which will be an ETERNITY in Hell, the place of UNENDING torment, torture, pain, agony, heartache and despair, with NO WAY of ESCAPE.

 

When the Helper, the Holy Spirit brings CONVICTION upon a rebellious person, they NEED to HUMBLE themselves and come before God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING their SINS to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL their HEART, that Jesus died for them and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and if YOU are that REBELLIOUS person, then you need to do this NOW, while you still can.  He is waiting and coming SOON!!!

“The Demise of a Depraved Nation”

 

 

“I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me.  I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that was not called by My name.  I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, according to their own thoughts.”        Isaiah 65:1, 2

Therefore I will number you for the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because, when I called, you did not hear, but did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight.”          Isaiah 65:12

 

This is the response of the Almighty God to the Prophet Isaiah, who offered up the REPENTANT prayer for the nation of Israel, when the nation was in a state of rebellion and sinning against the Lord God Almighty.

 

God in His MERCY and GRACE offers His SALVATION to ALL people, everywhere.  John 3:16, says, “For God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him should NOT perish but have everlasting life.”  

 

Every day and ALL day, God calls to those who seek Him, “Here I am, here I am,” but MANY fail to hear His voice, because of their corrupt, depraved, sinful lifestyle.  Yet He reaches out to nations full of rebellious people who are NOT pleasing to Him, who continually REJECT His invitation, to come to Him, and be saved from the coming judgment at the return of His Son.

 

God gives the Prophet a pretty detailed account of what the DEMISE of a DEPRAVED nation will be.  He says that the nation will die by the sword, because when He called to them, they REJECTED Him, and did NOT answer.  When He spoke, they did NOT hear, but they did EVIL before His eyes, and they chose to do that which He does NOT delight.    And so is the DEMISE of a DEPRAVED nation. 

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are a part of that DEPRAVED NATION, and are facing the Judgment Seat of the Almighty God, who will bring condemnation on those who have continually REJECTED Him, and have NOT come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING their  sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL their HEART, that Jesus died for THEM, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them, before God, then they need to ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and receive His MERCY and GRACE, and escape His judgement and an eternity in Hell.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“The Prayer for a Desperate Nation”

 

 

Yet Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we all are the work of Your hands.  Lord, do not be terribly angry or remember our iniquity forever.  Please look---all of us are Your people!”         Isaiah 64:8, 9

 

These verses are a part of a prayer of the Prophet Isaiah, to Almighty God, on behalf of the remnant of Israel.  Isaiah acknowledged that the nation had sinned and rebelled against God, and God had more or less turned a deaf ear to them because of their iniquities.  Now Isaiah is pleading for God’s mercy on a DESPERATE nation.

 

Isaiah acknowledges that God is the Holy Father of the nation, and the remnant is like clay, and God is the potter; the one who has worked and has known the clay, the one who has molded and shaped it into useful vessels.  But the clay, the remnant has become useless, because of its impurities, or in the case of it representing the nation, its iniquities.  The nation needed to become SUBMISSIVE like the clay that is molded and shaped by the potter’s hands, and not resist His touch, but to YIELD to His will.

 

So the Prophet implores upon the Lord to not be terribly angry nor to remember their iniquities forever.  And he reminds God that the nation is His people.  Isaiah pleads for God’s FORGIVENESS and MERCY upon the nation. 

 

We, who are the TRUE BELIEVERS, need to be like clay in the Potter’s hands, and become SUBMISSIVE, and YIELD to His will, and become WILLING, USEFUL VESSELS for His purpose.

 

Every nation NEEDS the touch of the MASTER POTTER’S hands, and we need to follow Isaiah’s example of PRAYING for our nations, and SEEK God’s MERCY and FORGIVENESS.  He is our ONLY HOPE. 

 

If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are a part of your nation’s problems, because of your sins and iniquities.  You are clay that is not useable as a useful vessel, and will be discarded as rubbish and cast into Hell, the place of unending torment, torture, pain, heartache, agony, and despair.  However, God is MERCIFUL and FORGIVING, and is offering you the opportunity NOW, to come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become SUBMISSIVE clay, YIELDING yourself to the touch of the Potter’s hands and become a USEFUL VESSEL for His own purpose.  Do it NOW while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“The Degradation of a Nation”

 

 

For our transgressions are multiplied before You, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and our iniquities:  transgressing, and denying the Lord, and turning back from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart lying words. 

Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter.   Truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.

Isaiah 59:12-15

 

These are words spoken by the Prophet Isaiah to the nation of Israel, at a time when that nation was far from what God intended it to be.  They were transgressing against God and His laws, which put them in a very precarious situation.

 

Watching the news today, seems to put our nation in the same dilemma.  We as a nation have allowed the transgression of God’s laws to be carried out by ungodly, depraved, wicked, evil, minds and hearts, which are intent on spreading their vile depravity as far as they possibly can. They are vulgar, heartless, and HOPELESS, without regard for the Laws of God or the laws of this nation.  They thrive on the poison that permeates their hearts and minds, a deadly poison that will eventually be their eternal demise.

 

The TRUTH is NOT in them, they LIVE out their lying agenda, and try their best to infect others with the same devious, evil, mindset.  Even certain news media outlets, spout out the lying words and have been an influence to those who are vulnerable and open to their rhetoric.  JUSTICE for our nation is dangling from a very thin thread, and RIGHTEOUSNESS is just about beyond our grasp.  

 

We  who are TRUE BELIEVERS, and have CONFESSED our sins, to God, and are trying to follow the Laws of God, are being PERSECUTED by those who are LOST in their SINS and headed for an ETERNITY in Hell, the place of perpetual TORMENT, TORTURE, PAIN, HEARTACHE, AGONY AND DESPAIR, unless they TURN AWAY from their EVIL, DEPRAVED, lifestyle and come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING their sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL their HEART that Jesus died for THEM, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and receive PEACE of MIND and HEART, and the HOPE of an ETERNAL HOME in HEAVEN.  They NEED to do it NOW, while they still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!  

"A New Body!"

For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.         2 Corinthians 5:4

 

In the first verse, we see the Apostle Paul telling the believers in Corinth that; if our earthly TENT, or our earthly body, the one made of flesh, is destroyed, we will have a BUILDING from God, an ETERNAL HOUSE in Heaven, NOT built by human hands.   This was his way of saying that MORTALITY will take on IMMORTALITY, and PERISHABLE will take on the IMPERISHABLE, because FLESH and BLOOD cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the PERISHABLE inherit the IMPERISHABLE.   (1 Corinthians 15:50)

 

In other words we will have a NEW and IMPROVED BODY.  A PERFECT BODY, one that is well constructed.  It caught my attention that Paul used the word TENT to describe our EARTHLY BODY, and He used the word BUILDING to describe our NEW, IMPROVED, HEAVENLY BODY.  When you hear the word TENT, you think of a temporary dwelling place, one that is NOT very sturdy especially when the storms come, and they will definitely come.  Some storms are more FEROCIOUS then others, and may even destroy the tent, but the NEW BUILDING, our ETERNAL HOUSE, will be STRONG and INVINCEIBLE and cannot be destroyed by ANYTHING. 

 

In our EARTHLY TENT or body, we groan and are burdened by earthly things that come against us just as the storms that batter a small, fragile boat out on a sea, tossing to and fro taking on water, and being dashed against the rocks of life, then destroyed by the ferocity of the storm. 

 

However, we, who are TRUE BELIEVERS, are PROMISED the NEW, IMPROVED, and STRONG BUILDING, an ETERNAL HOUSE in Heaven, that will never PERISH, because it is IMPERISHABLE, and it will NEVER DIE, because it is IMMORTAL.   Are you looking for such a place?

 

Let me tell you how you can find it.  You MUST come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and receive His promise of a NEW BODY, a BUILDING, not made with human hands, but one fashioned by God for your NEW HEAVENLY HOME.  Do it NOW while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.     Hebrews 11:1

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will He not much more clothe you---you of little faith        Matthew 6:30

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?”        Matthew 8:26a

 

FAITH, a small word with a BIG meaning, which we see in Hebrews 11:1.  FAITH is having CONFIDENCE in what we HOPE for and the ASSURANCE in what we cannot see.

 

In Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, He covered a LOT of important areas of people’s lives.  One thing that He talked about was WORRY, He told the people; “Do NOT worry about your life, and not to even worry about the clothes they were to wear.”  He said, if God clothes the grass of the field, will He not much more clothe you---you of little faith?”

 

When Jesus finished His sermon, He got into the boat and His disciples followed Him.  When suddenly a FURIOUS storm came up on the lake and the boat begin to take on water as the waves swept over its sides.  The disciples’ FAITH began to FALTER, even though they had the Master of the Sea, asleep in the boat, they were still afraid of drowning.  So they woke Jesus up, saying, “Lord, save us!  We’re going to drown!”  And Jesus’ reply was, “You of LITTLE faith, why are you so afraid?”

 

First, my question to the TRUE BELIEVER is:  “How DEEP is your FAITH?”  A DEEP FAITH brings about a DEEP TRUST with the UNKNOWN, because, God’s Word, in 2 Corinthians 5:7 says:  For we LIVE by FAITH, NOT by sight.  If we TRULY BELIEVE, then our FAITH runs DEEP and we acquire a DEEP TRUST in the ONLY ONE who can take care of ALL our NEEDS, from the clothes we wear to the protection of our very lives.  WE may NOT be able to see a way, but God CAN!

 

Secondly, if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God then your FAITH is planted in either yourself or somebody else or something else other than God.  And you do worry about things that in a lot of cases, you have very little if ANY control over.   By NOT having FAITH in God, you are putting your destiny in a very HIGH RISK of spending an ETERNITY in a place called HELL, the place of ETERNAL torment, torture, pain, agony, heartache and despair.  Hebrews 11:6 states:  “And without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God, because anyone who comes to Him MUST BELIEVE that He exists and that He rewards those who EARNESTLY SEEK Him.”  So to have a DEEP FAITH and TRUST in the ONE who is ABLE to save you from an ETERNITY in Hell, you MUST come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and have a DEEP FAITH that will produce a DEEP TRUST.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
