“The Realm of the Flesh versus the Realm of the Spirit”

 

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.  The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.  Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.  You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.  And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.  But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.  And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who lives in you.           Romans 8: 6-11

 

The Apostle Paul is explaining to the believers in Rome, the difference between living in the realm of the flesh and living in the realm of the Spirit.  When the mind is governed by the flesh then the outcome is a spiritual death, because the mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God and the things of God.   It will not submit to God’s laws nor does it possess the ability to do so.  Those living in the realm of the flesh CANNOT please God, because of their unrighteousness and they are doomed to spend an eternity in Hell, a place of; unending heartache, misery, despair, torment and torture.

 

However, those whose mind is governed by the Spirit of God, has life and peace.  But you can ONLY live in the realm of the Spirit, if the Spirit of the Living God indwells you.  If you do not have the Spirit of Christ, you do NOT belong to Christ.  If Christ is in you, then even though your physical body is subject to death because of your sinful nature, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.  And if the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, is living in you, He will also give life to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who indwells you. This is the HOPE of the believer.  And when Christ returns for His Children, (Rapture) the bodies of the believers, who have preceded us in death, will be brought up from the grave and changed from mortal to immortal, and those who are alive will be caught up with them to meet Jesus in the air and we all be changed in the twinkling of an eye.  GLORY HALLELUJAH!!!  

 

Which realm are you living in?  The realm of the flesh or the realm of the Spirit?  If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to God then you do NOT belong to Him and you are NOT living in the realm of the Spirit, but you are living in the realm of the flesh and are destined for Hell with ALL its sufferings for eternity.  You NOW have the opportunity to change your destiny by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and start living in the realm of the Spirit of God and be made righteous before Him, so that you might partake in ALL the glories of Heaven.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
