“The Preparation and the Promise”

 

“After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going.”      John 14:3-4

 

There are some who believe that the PLACE, Jesus was PREPARING, was being built by Him.  And they believe that ALL this time He has been WORKING on this PLACE.  Well, I don’t believe that Jesus is up in Heaven and is in a MASSIVE building program.  I don’t think that He is putting the angels to work building with hammers and nails, rooms or dwelling places for ALL of God’s Saints.

 

I believe that the “dwelling places” were completed at the time of Creation, which by the way, only took six DAYS.  I believe that the PREPARATION that Jesus was talking about was His DEATH and RESURRECTION.  The SALVATION of mankind was the PREPARATION.   A Hammer and three nails were definitely tools used to secure the occupancy for ALL of God’s TRUE CHILDREN.  And they were driven into pieces of wood, but they were used to hold the bloody hands and feet of our precious Lord Jesus to an old rugged cross.  This was the PREPARATION Jesus was talking about. 

 

The PROMISE is that someday, which I believe is VERY SOON, Jesus will split the eastern sky and call ALL of God’s TRUE CHILDREN, those who have secured their PLACE in Heaven, by their ACCEPTANCE of the DEATH, BURIAL, and RESURRECTION of the Lord Jesus Christ, for the SALVATION of their souls, to their FOREVER HOME in Heaven to spend ALL ETERNITY with God the Father and Jesus Christ, His Son.  And if you are one of God’s TRUE CHILDREN, then you KNOW the WAY and can tell others how to get there. 

 

Will you be one of God’s TRUE CHILDREN, who will be called to your Heavenly Home?  Or are you one who will spend ETERNITY in HELL, the place of FOREVER torture, torment, heartache, pain, agony and despair?”  The decision is yours to make, what will it be?  You can secure your place in Heaven with ALL of God’s family, if you will come to Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and receive a PREPARED PLACE and the PROMISE of an ETERNITY with God and His Son.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
