"Eternal Life"

For You gave Him authority over all flesh; so He may give eternal life to all You have given Him.  This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and the One You have sent---Jesus Christ.     John 17:2-3



Our Scripture is part of a prayer, voiced, from the Lord Jesus Christ, to His Heavenly Father God.  The whole purpose for God to send His Only Begotten Son, was to SEEK and SAVE mankind from their sins and to provide an ETERNITY in Heaven.



There is NO OTHER WAY to obtain ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, EXCEPT, COMING to a SAVING KNOWLEDGE and the ACCEPTANCE of JESUS CHRIST, as SAVIOR and LORD.  God gave His Son, Jesus, the AUTHORITY or RULE over ALL the earth.  But, as SHOULD be noted:  Mankind has been given the ability to make their OWN choice.  Whether they will ACCEPT or REJECT GOD’S gift of ETERNAL LIFE, made possible, through the SACRIFICAL LAMB, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who PAID the PRICE for the REDEMPTION of ALL those who will ACCEPT Him as their SAVIOR and LORD.  He took OUR place on the Cross.  And for those who will ACCEPT Him, they will KNOW Him and His Father God, this RELATIONSHIP is what will bring about an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.



When I say; “KNOW” I do not mean to know ABOUT or OF Christ, but to INTIMATELY KNOW Him.  To have an INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP with Him.  This INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP is NOT TEMPORARY, but it is ETERNAL.  EVERYONE will spend ETERNITY somewhere.  For the TRUE BELIEVER, their ETERNAL LIFE will be in HEAVEN.  For the UNBELIEVER, it will be an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  My question is:  Where will you spend your ETERNAL LIFE? 



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, you are DOOMED to spend ALL of ETERNITY in HELL.  However, God in His INFINITE MERCY and GRACE has a plan to RESCUE you from this destiny.  In order for you to have an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"The Generation Who Seeks God"

“The Generation Who Seeks God”

Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD?  And who may stand in His Holy Place?  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully.   He shall receive a blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation.  This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face---even Jacob.     Psalms 24:3-6

King David inquires on who is WORTHY to come into the presence of the SOVEREIGN LORD of the UNIVERSE.  He receives an answer, possibly from the priests, at the Sanctuary.  The answer is: The one with CLEAN HANDS or RIGHT ACTIONS, and a PURE HEART---the RIGHT ATTITUDE and WILL.  Those who do NOT LIFT their SOUL to the LIES of IDOLATRY, and has NOT SWORN to FAKE PROMISES.  They are the ones who will receive a BLESSING and RIGHTEOUSNESS from the SOVEREIGN GOD of their SALVATION.  They are the GENERATION who SEEK the FACE OF GOD.  And it is they who can enter the PRESENCE of the ALMIGHTY GOD.

If you are one of that GENERATION, then you may come into the presence of the Almighty God, as long as you WALK or LIVE by FAITH with INTEGRITY.  No one is PERFECT in their relationship with God, but as His Child, a TRUE BELIEVER, one who has been to the CROSS of CALVARY, for the SALVATION of their SOUL, and has ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST as their SAVIOR and LORD, their RELATIONSHIP is a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God, because their RELATIONSHIP with JESUS makes them RIGHTEOUS before GOD.  And the work of the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD, helps them to have CLEAN HANDS and a PURE HEART.  Are you a part of this GENERATION?

You can be, if you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT God’s gift of SALVATION and have CLEAN HANDS and a PURE HEART, and become a part of the GENERATION that SEEKS GOD, and a have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him, so that you may be able to spend ALL of ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with Him and His Son, Jesus Christ.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Cleansed from All Sins"

“Cleansed from ALL Sins”

“I will cleanse them from all the sins they have committed against Me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against Me.”      Jeremiah 33:8



This message was for the Nation of Israel, through the Prophet Jeremiah, concerning their restoration as a nation.   Before, they could be restored, certain things NEEDED to be done.  One of those things was the CLEANSING of the people.  And this message is certainly applicable to the people of today.  We NEED to be CLEANSED from ALL our sins, in order to have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS God of the Universe. 



This promise of CLEANSING, from the ALMIGHTY GOD, doesn’t just CLEANSE the people from CERTAIN, PARTICULAR, sins, but from ALL their sins to include the sins of REBELLION against God and His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who gave His LIFE, in order for ALL of mankind, who would come to Him for the CLEANSING of their sins, and ACCEPT and BELIEVE in God’s gift of SALVATION, would be able to stand before God, CLEAN and SPOTLESS, ready for any GOOD WORK. 



In Hebrews 9:22, it tells us plainly that:  WITHOUT the SHEDDING of blood there is NO FORGIVENESS.  So, Jesus Christ was SACRIFICED (shed His blood) ONCE to take away the sins of MANY. (v 28) He DIED and was RESURRECTED from the DEAD, so that MANKIND could be RIGHTEOUS before the ALMIGHTY GOD, and SALVATION, which will be COMPLETED when Jesus comes again to take God’s Children HOME for an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, will belong to the TRUE BELIEVER, who has been CLEANSED by the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST. 



When King David SINNED with Bathsheba, and was confronted about the sins, by the prophet Nathan, David cried out to God for MERCY and asked God to: Wash away ALL his iniquity and to CLEANSE him from his sin. (Ps. 51:2) Verse seven tells us that David said: “CLEANSE me with hyssop, and I will be CLEAN; WASH me, and I will be whiter than snow.”  David’s sins were always before him, always in his mind.  He was CONVICTED and his GUILT was all consuming.  Like David, many people are being CONVICTED of the sins that are ALWAYS before them, and like David, they need to be CLEANSED and WASHED, so that ALL their sins are WASHED AWAY by the PRECIOUS BLOOD of the LORD JESUS, and they can be WHITER than SNOW.



Have you been CLEANSED with the PRECIOUS BLOOD of JESUS, for ALL your SINS?  If NOT, you NEED to be, because your DESTINY is an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you’re there.  You NEED to be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let Him CLEANSE you from ALL your sins, and spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Power in His Name"

“Power in His Name”

No one is like You, LORD: You are great, and Your Name is mighty in power.     Jeremiah 10:6



The Prophet Jeremiah KNEW that there is NO OTHER, like the LORD GOD, ALMIGHTY.  He is SO POWERFUL and GREAT, that even His NAME is MIGHTY in POWER.  And ONLY HE has the POWER to SAVE mankind from their SINS and to give them the HOPE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS. 



You see, God sent His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON into this WRETCHED, WICKED WORLD, NOT to CONDEMN IT, but to SAVE it.  The angel told Mary and Joseph that they should call their Son, JESUS for He will SAVE His people from their sins.    And SALVATION is found in ON ONE ELSE, for there is NO OTHER NAME under Heaven given to mankind by which we MUST be SAVED. (Acts 4:12) 



Therefore, God exalted Jesus to the HIGHEST PLACE, the RIGHT HAND of His Heavenly Father.  And gave Him the name that is ABOVE EVERY name, and at the NAME of JESUS, EVERY knee will  bow, in Heaven and on earth and under the earth,  the angels, saints, ALL mankind, even Satan and his demons, and the unsaved, who are in HELL, WILL BOW either FORCIBLY or WILLINGLY.  And they will CONFESS that JESUS CHRIST is Lord!   



There is NO OTHER WAY, which mankind can be SAVED, because ONLY the NAME of JESUS has that POWER.  Acts 2:21 tells us: “EVERYONE who calls on the NAME of the LORD will be SAVED!”  Have you called on the POWERFUL NAME of JESUS?



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, by  CALLING on the NAME of JESUS, for the SALVATION of your soul, then you are destined to spend ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and after you leave this world, there will be NO WAY to ESCAPE.  In order to spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, CALL on the POWERFUL NAME of JESUS, and be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and HEAVEN as your ETERNAL HOME.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Refuge and Fortress"

“Refuge and Fortress”

Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my Rock of Refuge, a strong Fortress to save me.  Since you are my Rock and my Fortress, for the sake of Your Name lead and guide me.   Psalm 31:2-3



This Psalm was penned by David, and we see his desperate plea to the ALMIGHTY God, for God to HEAR him, when he said: “Turn Your Ear to me, come QUICKLY to my RESCUE.”  Then David implores God to be his ROCK of REFUGE, a STRONG FORTRESS to SAVE him, in his time of distress and peril. 



Even though, David was a mighty warrior, and king, he realized that his situation warranted God’s DIVINE INTERVENTION, so he CRIES out to the ONLY ONE who can SAVE him from his desperate situation.   So, with this knowledge, he CRIES out to God to be his ROCK of REFUGE, and a STRONG FORTRESS, in order to SAVE him.  When mankind comes to that SAME knowledge, that they are in DESPERATE NEED of a SAVIOR, One who can SAVE them from their SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL of its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE it, after they get there, they too, like David MUST CRY out to the ONLY ONE who can give them SALVATION, and be their ROCK of REFUGE and a STRONG FORTRESS, in their times of distress and peril. 



In Psalm 71:3, again, the Psalmist implores God to be their ROCK of REFUGE, to which they ALWAYS have access to.  They ask Him to give the COMMAND to SAVE them, because He is their ROCK and their FORTRESS.  Is He your ROCK and FORTRESS?



Psalm 91:2, says: “I will say of the LORD, He is my REFUGE and my FORTRESS, my God, in whom I trust.”  Can you proclaim that the Lord God is your REFUGE and FORTRESS?  Have you given your HEART and LIFE to Him?  If NOT then you are in DESPERATE NEED of crying out to Him for the SALVATION of your soul.  He wants to be your ROCK of REFUGE and your STRONG FORTRESS.   You can have the ASSURANCE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, and to ESCAPE HELL, by: TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that JESUS CHRIST died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let Him be your REFUGE and your FORTRESS. Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Delivered or Trapped?"

“Delivered or Trapped?”

The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires.    Proverbs 11:6



There are two situations that mankind is faced with.  One is the situation of being DELIVERED, and the other is the situation of being TRAPPED.  We ALL must choose the situation, in which, we want to LIVE and DIE in.   Let’s look at the first situation, that of being DELIVERED.  When we choose this pathway, we are choosing to ACCEPT God’s gift of SALVATION, by ACCEPTING His Son, Jesus Christ, as our SAVIOR and LORD.  Then we are DELIVERED from our EVIL DESIRES and SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and we are given the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Christ.  When this happens, we choose to FOLLOW Him, and do whatever we think He would do or NOT do.  We are to FOLLOW His example.  And like King David, we can say: “For great is your LOVE toward me; you have DELIVERED me from the depths, from the realm of the dead.” (Ps. 86:13) Spiritually speaking, we will receive ETERNAL LIFE, in Heaven, and ESCAPE the HORRORS of an ETERNITY in HELL, once we are DELIVERED from our SINFUL LIFESTYLE.



However, for those who are TRAPPED by their EVIL DESIRES, the Word of God tells us, that: “Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the RIGHTEOUS will be CONDEMNED. (Ps. 34:21) They are CONDEMNED to spend ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  And they will be SEPARATED from GOD and ALL that is DESCENT and GOOD, for ALL ETERNITY.  But, you NOW have the CHOICE to choose being DELIVERED from your EVIL DESIRES or TRAPPED by your EVIL DESIRES. It’s YOUR CHOICE. 



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are TRAPPED, but you can be DELIVERED by:  TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVING with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and CHOOSE to be DELIVERED from your sins and ESCAPE being TRAPPED in HELL for ALL ETERNITY.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Unfailing Love and Full Redemption"

“Unfailing Love and Full Redemption”

Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with Him is full redemption.   He Himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.    Psalm 130:7-8



Even though this message was speaking to the nation of Israel, it is very applicable to EVERYONE.   The Psalmist, tells the nation to put their HOPE in the LORD.  And that is what ALL TRUE BELIEVERS should do, because with the LORD is UNFAILING LOVE and FULL REDEMPTION.



Mankind is HOPELESS without God’s UNFAILING LOVE.  John 3:16, tells us that: “God SO LOVED the WORLD that He gave His One and Only Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES in Him, shall NOT perish but have ETERNAL LIFE.”  The ALMIGHTY, HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD, took on Himself the image of man.  He became a man, and HE suffered, and died, HIMSELF, for the FULL REDEMPTION of WRETCHED, WICKED, DOOMED MANKIND.  Jesus, told His disciples, that anyone who has seen Him, has seen the Father, and that it is the Father, living in Him, who is doing His work. (John 14) This act of SALVATION, is a GREAT demonstration of God’s UNFAILING LOVE and FULL REDEMPTION for ALL who will ACCEPT it and BELIEVE it. And for those who REJECT it and DON’T BELIEVE it, they will receive CONDEMNATION and an ETERNITY in Hell, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they get there.



God has a plan for mankind to be set FREE from their sins and the CONDEMNATION that will send them to that ETERNITY in HELL.  In order for mankind to receive the BENEFITS of God’s UNFAILING LOVE and His FULL REDEMPTION, is for mankind to be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM their sinful lifestyle, and to TURN to GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING, their sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVING with ALL their HEART, that JESUS died for THEM, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for them, before God.  They MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and an ETERNAL HOME, in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and become a recipient of God’s UNFAILING LOVE and FULL REDEMPTION, through the Lord Jesus Christ.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!! 

"Separated from God"

“Separated from God”

Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear.  But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.      Isaiah 59:1-2



Who is SEPARATED from God?  Both the BELIEVER and UNBELIEVER, can be SEPARATED from God.  The BELIEVER, is SEPARATED from God, when they have UNCONFESSED sin in their hearts.  You see, the word SEPARATED means to KEEP APART, DISCONNECT, and when the BELIEVER has a sin in their heart it SEPARATES them by BREAKING the line of communication, and their FELLOWSHIP is severed, BECAUSE of that sin.  These verses of Scripture, tells us that INIQUITIES (sins) SEPARATES us from God.   He will hide His face from us; therefore, our FELLOWSHIP is broken.  But this is TEMPORARY, when the BELIEVER CONFESSES their sins to Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then their FELLOWSHIP with God will be MENDED and God will HEAR them when they PRAY.



However, for the UNBELIEVER, there is NO RELATIONSHIP with God, to begin with, so there is NO FELLOWSHIP with Him and they ARE SEPARATED FOREVER, until they give their HEART and LIFE to Him. And NO matter HOW, WHEN, WHERE or WHAT they PRAY for, He will NOT HEAR them, until they become His CHILD.  The ONLY PRAYER that God HEARS from an UNBELIEVER, is the prayer of REPENTANCE, once that is done and their HEARTS are CLEANSED with the BLOOD of Jesus Christ, then and ONLY then will He HEAR.  Psalm 66:18, says: “If I regard iniquity (sin) in my heart, the Lord will NOT hear.” 



Being a BELIEVER and being SEPARATED, even temporarily from God, is NOT a GOOD situation to be in.  But to be an UNBELIEVER, and FOREVER SEPARATED from God, would be UNBEARABLE.  And knowing that your DESTINY is an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPING, after you’re there, would be HOPELESS.  So, if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, why NOT do it NOW, His ARM is NOT too SHORT to SAVE you, nor is His EAR too DULL to HEAR your prayer of REPENTANCE.  If you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and have a RELATIONSHIP with the Almighty God of the Universe, and STOP being SEPARATED from Him.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"The Storm"

“The Storm”

And when He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.  And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but He was asleep.  And they went and woke Him, saying, ‘Save us, Lord’ we are perishing.”  And He said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?”  Then He rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.     Matthew 8:23-26



Sometimes, we all face adversities, and FEAR and ANXIETY comes crashing in, like the waves on the Sea of Galilee, and we like the disciples of Jesus Christ, feel like we are PERSHING, underneath the LOAD of our distress. 



And just like the disciples, we CRY OUT to the ONLY ONE who can bring our shipwrecked souls PEACE in the midst of our raging storm.  “SAVE US, Lord” we are PERISHING!”  And He, will say to US like He did to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of LITTLE FAITH?”  While sometimes, we FEEL like we are going down and NOT going to surface again, due to our LACK of FAITH in the ONE who is in COMPLETE CONTROL.  But when we LEARN and BELIEVE that GOD TRULY LOVES and CARES about US, then are FAITH becomes STEADFAST in the MIDST of the storm, because it is ANCHORED in the ROCK, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. And just like: He is in CONTROL of the wind and waves, He can and will be in CONTROL of the STORM that so easily diminishes our FAITH.



Now, for the TRUE BELIEVER, this is GOOD NEWS, but for the UNBELIEVER, you are STRUGGLING to keep yourself afloat, and SINKING in your sins, with a destiny of spending an ETERNITY IN HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY TO ESCAPE, when you get there.  However, God has a PLAN to RESCUE you, through the SHED BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST.  In order to be SAVED, you MUST TURN AWAY from your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God. And ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let the MASTER of the SEA, control your STORM.  Do this NOW, while you still can.   He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"What Are You Doing with Your Time?"

“What Are You Doing with Your Time?”

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.        Ecclesiastes 3:1

For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery.    Ecclesiastes 8:6

“God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.     Ecclesiastes 3:17

 



For a lot of people, TIME is plentiful, right NOW,with the Covid-19, restrictions, like the “STAY AT HOME” situation, the problem with this is:  What to do with our TIME?  Many will take this time to WORK around their homes, doing much NEEDED repairs, or putting in a garden, things of that nature, which in themselves, there is nothing wrong about spending your TIME doing such things.  But my question is:  Have you given thought to the REPAIRS that NEEDS to be done with your SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING or your RELATIONSHIP with God?  How is that working for YOU?



King Solomon, the WISEST MAN of all TIMES, tells us that; “There is a TIME for EVERYTHING, and a SEASON for EVERY ACTIVITY under the heavens, which leads me to BELIEVE that when your PRIORTIES are in the RIGHT place, then EVERYTHING will work out the RIGHT and PROPER way. 



The very FIRST PRIORTY should be spending TIME with your HEAVENLY FATHER, and developing a LASTING, INTIMATE, RELATIONSHIP with Him.  For many, the ONLY TIME they take for Him, is when they NEED or WANT Him to come to their aid.  When we work at a STRONG, INTIMATE, RELATIONSHIP with Him, He will be WILLING to CARE for us in ANY and EVERY situation, even in USING our time WISELY.  So, if you do NOT PUT God FIRST in your life, you are NOT using your TIME WISELY. 



In chapter eight of Ecclesiastes, Solomon tells us that there is a PROPER TIME and PROCEDURE for EVERY MATTER, even when a person is WEIGHED down with MISERY.  The PROPER TIME and PROCEDURE in spending your TIME WISELY, is to BEGIN the day, talking to your HEAVENLY FATHER about the day you are facing.  This SHOULD take place before ANY other activity.  If need be, set your alarm an hour ahead of the time you usually get up, and BEGIN the day with the ONE, who is in CONTROL of it.  Let Him be your GUIDE through your day, EVEN and ESPECIALLY, when you are going through hard times. 



Solomon, in chapter three, verse seventeen, tells us that:  God, the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, will bring JUDGMENT on both the RIGHTEOUS, for their works, at the BEMA SEAT of Jesus Christ, and the GREAT WHITE THRONE, JUDGMENT for the WICKED, for their CONDEMNATION.  A time when EVERY DEED, will be JUDGED.  Are you READY?



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you will stand before Him at the GREAT WHITE THRONE and be JUDGED for your sins, and CONDEMNED to an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after your there.  However, God, in His ABUNDANT MERCY, and AMAZING GRACE, has provided a way for YOU to ESCAPE HELL, NOW.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and start SPENDING your TIME WISELY.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“For My Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”       John 6:40



It should be the desire of EVERY TRUE BELIEVER, to KNOW and DO the WILL of their Heavenly Father.  So, let us LOOK at some verses of the Holy Scripture and SEE what exactly is the Father’s Will.  The previous verses give us a clear picture of the Father’s Will, concerning His relationship with mankind.



Verse 39 tells us; that the Will of the Father God is that Jesus, His Only Begotten Son, was sent by God to do His will, which was to SEEK and to SAVE mankind from their sins and to RESCUE them from an ETERNITY in the pits of HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you’re there. 



It is the Father’s Will that Jesus would NOT lose ANY of those who are SAVED, but that He would RAISE them UP at the Last Day. (the RESURRECTION of the SAINTS) We see in our Scripture, today, verse 40, that it is ALSO the Father’s Will that EVERYONE who LOOKS  to JESUS and BELIEVES in HIM, for the SALVATION of their SOUL, will receive ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and NO ONE wants to ESCAPE HEAVEN.   And then it is the Father’s Will that they ALL will be RESURRECTED at the LAST DAY.  Are YOU READY?



It is the Father’s Will that NONE should PERISH, but have ETERNAL LIFE, in Heaven.  However, those who DO NOT BELIEVE nor except Jesus as their SAVIOR and LORD, stands CONDEMNED and will face JUDGMENT on the LAST DAY?  If you are in this category, you are DESTINED to spend ALL ETERNITY in HELL, unless, you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and DO the FATHER’S WILL, and be RAISED UP on the LAST DAY.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him.  But let him ask in faith without doubting.  For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind.  That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.  An indecisive man is unstable in all his ways.      James 1:5-8



A doubter is an individual who is UNCERTAIN or HESITATANT to BELIEVE.  One who usually doesn’t TRUST another.  We could say that it is one who has a LACK of FAITH.  And more likely than not, it refers to an UNBELIEVER. 



Our Scripture begins with:  If any of you lacks WISDOM, he should ask God.   This WISDOM is to be able to KNOW God’s will and to be able to UNDERSTAND His Word.  In order for mankind to develop a RELATIONSHIP with God and His Son.  This DIVINE WISDOM helps the TRUE BELIEVER to be able to SUBMIT to the HOLY SPIRIT of God, and to place their FAITH and TRUST in Him, even in times of trials that come their way. 



When one comes to God for the SALVATION of their SOUL, they should ASK for this Wisdom, so it will ENHANCE their RELATIONSHIP with Him.  Because, God is more than WILLING to give it to them.  Our Scripture tells us, He will give it GENEROUSLY and WITHOUT CRITICIZING.  This is His way of ACCEPTING the one who comes with FAITH and TRUST in Him.   When one PRAYS, they must be CONFIDENT in TRUSTING in the INVISIBLE God, if they want His ATTENTION and His PROVISION.



The DOUBTER, on the other hand, is known to be DOUBLE-MINDED and UNSTABLE.  That is their MINDS and HEARTS are divided between GOD and the WORLD.  They may, at times, BELIEVE in God, but they FAIL in TRUSTING in Him.  And they receive NOTHING, because they are living a life of DOUBT, and this makes them UNSTABLE. 



They are MORE prone to BLAME GOD, when the trials of life, overcome them, and in ALL actuality, it is their DOUBTING that keeps them from receiving God’s PROVISIONS.  Their DOUBTING is like the surging sea, during a storm, they are DRIVEN and TOSSED by the wind.  They are INDECISIVE and UNSTABLE in ALL their ways.  Remember:  If you have SIN in your HEART, God will NOT HEAR your PRAYERS.   You MUST be a TRUE BELIEVER, with a CLEAN HEART, in order for God to HEAR your PRAYERS.   To do that, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING and TRUSTING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and KICK your DOUBTING to the wayside and start TRUSTING in GOD to see you through all the trials of this LIFE, and with HEAVEN as your ETERNAL HOME.  Do it NOW while you still can.   He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Perfected Love"

“No one has ever seen God.  If we love one another, God remains in us and His love is perfected in us.

And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us.  God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. 

1 John 4:12,16



PERFECT LOVE, just what is PERFECT LOVE?  PERFECT LOVE is AGAPE LOVE or GODLY LOVE.  God is a SPIRIT, and NO ONE has actually SEEN GOD, the FATHER, in His absolute essential nature, with the exception of seeing Jesus Christ, who tells us that; if you have seen Him, you have seen the Father, because He is in the Father, and the Father is in Him.  In other words, Jesus is the MANIFESTATION of God and His PERFECTED LOVE. 



When a person becomes a TRUE BELIEVER, by giving their HEART and LIFE to God, one thing that CHARACTERIZES them is that they LOVE one another, and if this is TRUE for them, then God will REMAIN in them and HIS LOVE is PERFECTED in them.



Then they will come to KNOW and BELIEVE in the LOVE that God has for them, because God’s LOVE is PROVEN in the REDEMPTIVE WORK of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, on the Cross of Calvary.  And the DEMONSTRATION of that PERFECT LOVE is shown, not ONLY in the DEATH of Christ, but DEFINITELY in the RESURRECTION of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, the VICTOR over DEATH and the GRAVE.  



It is ALL about LOVE, not like human LOVE, but the AGAPE or GODLY LOVE, because GOD is LOVE, and if one REMAINS in that LOVE, then they REMAIN in GOD, and GOD will REMAIN in them.  And His LOVE is PERFECTED in them.   Have you EXPERIENCED this LOVE?


If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE, to God, then you have NOT EXPERIENCED His LOVE, because you keep REJECTING it, because you REJECT His SON, Jesus.  However, because of God’s ABUNDANT MERCY and His AMAZING GRACE, you NOW have the opportunity to not ONLY RECEIVE God’s LOVE, but to be able to SHARE it with someone else.  But, in order to do that, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN to GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and allow His LOVE to be PERFECTED in YOU.  Do this NOW, while you still can, and receive HEAVEN as your ETERNAL HOME.   He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

Today, we reflect on what happened many, many years ago, in a far away land, to the ONE and ONLY SON of the LIVING GOD.  Today, is marked as, the day, JESUS was MERCILESSLY put to DEATH, on an OLD RUGGED CROSS.  A shameful, act carried out on the WORST criminals. And JESUS was NOT a CRIMINAL.  Yet it had to be done, in order to SAVE mankind from their WRETCHED, FILTHY SINS.  There had to be a PERFECT SACRIFICE, and the Son of God, was the ONLY ONE who was qualified to carry it out.  The SINLESS SON, of the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD of the universe, the CREATOR, of ALL things, that was ever CREATED, became the SACRIFICAL LAMB, slain for the SALVATION of MANKIND.  To the TRUE BELIEVERS, today is known as GOOD FRIDAY. 



The reason for it being called GOOD Friday is, it was the time when the PRICE was PAID for the REDEMPTION of ALL MANKIND.  For God so LOVED the WORLD that HE gave HIS ONE and ONLY SON, so that EVERYONE who BELIEVES in HIM WILL not PERISH but have ETERNAL LIFE.  For God did NOT send His SON into the world that He might CONDEMN the world, but that the world might be SAVED through HIM.  (John 3:16-17)



This is the VICTORY we have in our LORD JESUS CHRIST.  He CONQUERED DEATH and the GRAVE, when His Father God RAISED Him up out of the GRAVE. When He hung on that CRUEL CROSS, He TOOK ON HIMSELF ALL the sins of ALL MANKIND, He, who knew NO SIN, became Sin, in order to give us ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  And to be able to ESCAPE HELL with ALL its HORRORS, once you’re there, you have NO WAY to ESCAPE.  In order to ESCAPE, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and VICTORY through our LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Trust in the LORD"

“Trust in the LORD”

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.     Proverbs 3:5-6

TRUST: The obligation or responsibility imposed on a person in whom confidence or authority is placed.



To place TRUST in someone, is hard for most people to do.  However, Psalm 118:8, tells us that:  It is better to take REFUGE in the Lord than to TRUST in humans.  Ultimately, God is in CONTROL of things.  And He is ALL KNOWING, ALL POWERFUL, and EVERYWHERE AT THE SAME TIME.  Now, that sounds like someone I could put my TRUST in.  He KNOWS BEFORE it happens, and He KNOWS HOW to HANDLE it.  He is POWERFUL enough to do whatever it takes to get things done. And He is ALWAYS EVERYWHERE at the SAME time.



Our Scripture, out of Proverbs, tells us that we NEED to TRUST in the LORD, with ALL our HEART, and to do that, we NEED NOT to LEAN or RELY on our OWN UNDERSTANDING.  Our thoughts and insights, are inadequate.  No matter how intelligent, or gifted a person maybe, they can NEVER replace mankind’s NEED for TRUSTING in GOD’S GREATER and HIGHER attributes.



God is ABLE and TRUSTWORTHY to meet ALL YOUR and My needs.  When we SUBMIT ALL our ways to Him, He will make our paths STRAIGHT.  This is means, when we are totally SOLD-OUT to God, He will do MORE than just GUIDE our paths, He will make our pathway EASIER to travel on.  But this requires US to TRUST HIM with EVERY PART of our LIVES.  Are you WILLING??



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you have NO relationship with Him.  And your headed down the WRONG PATH, one full of obstacles, and pitfalls all along the way.  If you are TRUSTING in yourself or another human being, you will remain on that path, which will lead you to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you get there.  In order to get on the RIGHT PATH, which is STRAIGHT and SMOOTH, and leads to an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, you MUST BE WILLING TO TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and TRUST in the LORD to get you to HEAVEN, your ETERNAL HOME.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"BELIEVE"

BELIEVE:  to have confidence or faith in the truth, or to give credence to.



Many people tend to BELIEVE in things that are NOT TRUE, and have NO CREDENCE to them at all.  Some of these things are very “quirky” in nature.  They are what we can call “far-fetched.”  Yet, they will chase after them, for the sake of BELIEVING in something. 



Mankind, naturally has a void in their HEARTS, which prompts them to search for something they can BELIEVE in, and put their TRUST in. They try all kinds of WEIRD things to fill that void, or to satisfy their longings.  And Jesus has the ANSWER for mankind’s search, which is the Will of His Father, God; that EVERYONE who looks to JESUS, God’s Son, and BELIEVES in Him, will have ETERNAL LIFE in Heaven, and they will be RAISED UP (resurrected) at the LAST DAY.



Now, to some, this may not seem feasible, but that is why Jesus said: “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws them…”  This DRAWING is NOT LIMITED to a few.  Jesus said: “I will draw ALL people to Myself.” (12:32) This does not mean that ALL will ACCEPT God’s gift of SALVATION, there will be those who will REJECT and REFUSE to ACCEPT it.  But it is impossible for mankind to BELIEVE and ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST as their SAVIOR and LORD, on their OWN, they NEED some DIVINE HELP, the HOLY SPIRIT will DRAW them to GOD’S Son.  And when this happens, it will be their choice whether, they BELIEVE and ACCEPT or NOT BELIEVE, and REJECT.   It is the CHOICE of MANKIND.  



Is or has God, been DRAWING you to BELIEVE in His SON, JESUS CHRIST?  And have you been REJECTING His INVITATION?  If that is the case you are DESTINED to spend ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL of its HORRORS, and there will be NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you close your eyes in death.  Jesus tells us that we CANNOT COME to the FATHER, except through BELIEVING in HIM.  In order for you to be ABLE to have an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and BELIEVE on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"The Invitation"

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the Water of Life.”       Revelation 22:17



When you receive an invitation to a party or get-together, there usually is a RSVP on the invitation.  Which means that you should RESPOND to the invitation, will you GO or NOT GO?



It’s the SAME with God’s INVITATION to mankind, for them to COME to JESUS CHRIST for the SALVATION of their WRETCHED, THIRSTY souls.   It is an INVITATION with CONSEQUENCES. 



The Spirit, which is the Holy Spirit of God and the Bride, which is the Church, the Body of Christ, the REDEEMED, are INVITING you to “COME!” and to partake of the WATER of LIFE.  Jesus in His encounter with the woman at the well, offers the woman, who had come to the well to draw water, an INVITATION to drink from a SPECIAL water, one that will quench her SPIRITUAL THIRST.  This is His INVITATION: “Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will NEVER be thirsty again.  The water that I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to ETERNAL LIFE.”(John 4:14) Verse sixteen:  “Go, call your husband and COME here.” And she did as Jesus asked.  She answered His RSVP.   



So it is, with mankind, today, God, through His Holy Spirit and the Church, is offering an INVITATION for you to “COME!”  and to partake of that SPECIAL WATER, the WATER of LIFE, that is provided through the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and His REDEMPTIVE WORK on the CROSS, and His MIRACULOUS RESURRECTION. He is the ONLY WAY to be able to have that WATER of LIFE, springing up inside of you, the gift of ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS. 



If you should REJECT His INVITATION, you will experience the CONSEQUENCE of spending ALL ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you’re there.  In order to ACCEPT His INVITATION, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS. BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and the CONSEQUENCE of spending ALL ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  SO, “COME!” to JESUS, NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“What God Does for a Repentant Heart”

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet of a rock and gave me a firm place to stand, He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.  Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in Him.       Psalm 40:2-3



Let us look at the BENEFITS of coming to God, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and seeking His FORGIVENESS for our sins. And the ability to become one of His Children.  To RECEIVE His SALVATION and an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.



The Psalmist, David tells us that God CAN and WILL deliver the one, with the REPENTANT HEART, from the SLIMY PIT of their SINS and will bring them UP and OUT of the MUD ad MIRE of a DEPRAVED HEART. 



He will then set their FEET on the SOLID ROCK, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and give them a STEADFAST, SURE FOUNDATION, on which to STAND.  Then He will put a NEW SONG in their MOUTH, a HYMN of PRAISE and DELIVERANCE, to JESUS for His ULTIMATE SACRIFICE, and for giving them HOPE and ASSURANCE of ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  And being able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  There is NO WAY to ESCAPE, after your there, its TOO LATE. 



When this takes place in a person’s life, they become a NEW CREATURE, a DIFFERENT PERSON, and that is why they can sing a NEW SONG.  Because, their OLD DESIRES and SINFUL WAYS are gone, and they will experience a NEWNESS of LIFE.  A life with HOPE and ASSURANCE, LOVE and PEACE.  This will cause many of their acquaintances’ heads to turn, and some will see this MIRACLE, and it might even bring them to a point in their lives, where they will FEAR or REVERANCE the ALMIGHTY GOD, and put their TRUST in Him also. 



Wouldn’t it be GREAT if you were the instrument that God would use in bringing them to put their TRUST in Him?  So, why not let this happen for YOU and THEM.  In order to do that, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS. BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let Him DELIVER you out of the SLIMY PIT of SIN, and LIFT you UP from the MUD and MIRE of a DEPRAVED HEART, and to set your feet on a STEADFAST, FIRM, and SURE FOUNDATION.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

But who can discern their own errors?  Forgive my hidden faults.  Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me.  Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.      Psalm 19:12-13



In the day and age, in which we live, we are prone to HIDE our sins from others, we may be successful in doing so.  But, the ONE we REALLY try to HIDE them from is the ALMIGHTY GOD, which is, at ANY TIME, IMPOSSIBLE, because God is OMNISCIENT, meaning ALL KNOWING.  He is very much aware of YOU and YOUR transgressions.  So, it is NOT POSSIBLE to HIDE these sins in your HEART.



That is why David said: “Forgive my HIDDEN faults.”  He knew that God was well aware of ALL his sins, even those that David did NOT CONFESS to God.  David KNEW very well that God would NOT HEAR his prayers nor DELIVER him from his problems, as long as there were HIDDEN FAULTS (sins) in his HEART.  The TRUE BELIEVER, must have a CLEAN and CONTRITE HEART, when they ask for God’s DIVINE INTERVENTION.



I believe that verse thirteen, is a prayer for ALL TRUE BELIEVERS: “Keep Your servant also from WILLFUL SINS; may they NOT RULE over me.  Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.” And to that we can add verse fourteen: “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my HEART be PLEASING in YOUR sight LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.”



We cannot have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God, if we are harboring sin in our HEARTS.  Remember, Psalm 66:18: “If I had cherished iniquity (sin) in my HEART, the Lord would NOT have listened.” If you want God to HEAR or LISTEN to your prayers, then CLEAN OUT your HEART. 



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you have NO RELATIONSHIP with Him and He will not HEAR you when you try to PRAY with a HEART that is filled with the filth of sins.  In order to have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God, you MUST BE WILLING TO TURN WAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING ALL of your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and begin having a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP, with NO HIDDEN SINS, in your HEART, and ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you’re there, and GAIN HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

“Refuge, Protection and Shield”

But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy.  Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.       Psalm 5:11



This is part of a Psalm of David, and David KNEW about troubles, a lot of his life was consumed with TROUBLES, some of which he brought on himself, because of the sins that he allowed to affect the intentions of his heart.  Yet, he still WORSHIPED the LORD GOD, and was known as; a man after God’s own Heart.  He sought God’s FORGIVENESS, because he KNEW that his sins would alter his relationship with God, and they would keep God’s intervention away from David’s perils.



However, when David faced such perils, he KNEW where to find REFUGE and PROTECTION for his weary soul.  Singing was/is a big part of PRAISE, and David did his fair share of SINGING PRAISES to the ALMIGHTY GOD.  Here we see that he ENCOURAGES the TRUE BELIEVERS to SING for JOY, because they have REFUGE and PROTECTION through God.



Not only is God the REFUGE and PROTECTION, but He is their SHIELD.  The ONLY WAY for mankind to experience GOD as their REFUGE and PROTECTION and their SHIELD is through His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who provides a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP between mankind and God. 



So, in order for a person, who has NOT given their HEART and LIFE to God, to be able to experience GOD as their REFUGE, PROTECTION and SHIELD, and to have an ETERNAL HOME in Heaven, with ALL its BLESSINGS, instead of HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  You MUST be WILLING TO TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVEING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let Him be your REFUGE, PROTECTION, and SHIELD. Then SING for JOY, and be able to REJOICE, because His PROTECTION is over those who LOVE His Name.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"Help!"

“Help!”

Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of Your Name; deliver us and forgive our sins for Your Name Sake.     Psalm 79:9



This Psalm of Asaph, is a plea for God’s HELP.  In verse eight, he says: “May Your MERCY come QUICKLY to meet us, for we  are in DESPERATE NEED.”   Now, to a lot of us, we can identify with the URGENT plea of our Psalmist.  We are MORE than READY for COVID-19 to be over with.  However, if you look at verse nine closely, you will see that the Psalmist has reached the REALIZATION that it’s NOT the sins of PAST generations that may be holding up the HELP that he DESPERATELY NEEDS, but it may be HIS own sins that are delaying God’s intervention.



I can’t help, but wonder if that is not the case with what we, as a nation, are experiencing with the virus, and its LINGERING effects.  Is the Almighty God, waiting for this nation, as a whole, to come to Him in REPENTANCE of its SINS, mainly the REJECTION of His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, as its Savior and Lord? 



Remember, Psalm 66:18, tells us: “If I cherish sin in my HEART, the LORD would NOT listen to me.”  Well, Asaph says: “HELP US,” for the glory of Your name; DELIVER us and FORGIVE OUR SINS.  He realizes that it may be HIS SINS that are hindering God’s divine intervention.  And he knows that there is POWER in the NAME of JESUS.  So, when you combine REPENTANCE with the MIGHTY NAME of JESUS, God will DELIVER and FORGIVE our sins.  Could it be YOUR SINS that are hindering your PRAYERS for HELP, to be answered?



If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, this might be your LAST opportunity to do so.  It’s possible that Jesus will return at ANY TIME.  And maybe our MERCIFUL God is delaying, in order to give EVERYONE, one LAST opportunity to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE, and to RECEIVE HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  In order to do that, YOU MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be assured that He WILL hear your cry for HELP and will DELIVER and FORGIVE.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!

"The Sure Foundation"

“The Sure Foundation”

The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He will fill Zion with His justice and righteousness.  He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.     Isaiah 33:5-6



Many of us have heard the illustration of the WISE and FOOLISH builders. This story exemplifies the IMPORTANCE of having a FIRM, SURE FOUNDATION.  The FOOLISH builder built his house on the ground without a foundation, and when the FLOOD came, the river CRASHED against the house and IMMEDIATELY it COLLAPSED.  And the destruction was GREAT!  But the WISE builder built his house on the ROCK, with a SURE FOUNDATION.  And when the flood came, and the river crashed against the house, it could NOT be shaken, because it was built on a SURE FOUNDATION, that was on the SOLID ROCK.  (Luke 6:48)



The Prophet Isaiah, was speaking to the remnant of Jews, telling them God is exalted and He dwells on High; He fills Zion with His JUSTICE and RIGHTEOUSNESS.  And that He will be their SURE FOUNDATION for their times.  This is a GREAT MESSAGE for God’s TRUE CHILDREN, today.  He wants to be our SURE FOUNDATION, so when the FLOOD of UNCERTAINTIES beat against us, we can TAKE COURAGE, and have His ABIDING PEACE, in knowing we are built on a STRONG, SURE FOUNDATION, with JESUS CHRIST as our CHIEF CORNERSTONE.  He is our ROCK on which we can run to and be safe. 



However, if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, your like the FOOLISH BUILDER, who has NO SURE FOUNDATION, and when the STORMS and FLOODS of UNCERTAINTIES, like what we are going through now, with the Covid-19 virus, comes, where can you go for PEACE of mind, and just how COURAGEOUS can you be, without that SURE FOUNDATION?



We are facing PERILOUS TIMES, and we ALL NEED a SURE FOUNDATION, God is beckoning us to COME to HIM and receive from His rich store of SALVATION and WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE.  The FEAR, that is: REVERANCE and RESPECT, of the LORD, is the KEY to this TREASURE.  And there is ONLY ONE WAY to benefit from it.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let Him be your SURE FOUNDATION, on which you will build your RIGHTEOUS RELATIONSHIP with Him.  And you will GAIN Heaven with ALL its BLESSINGS, and be able to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY TO ESCAPE.  So, Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
