“The Greatest Rejection EVER!”

“He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.”     Luke 10:16

 

I guess you could say this was the COMMISSIONING MESSAGE of King Jesus to His Seventy Disciples, just before He sent them out to SHARE the GOSPEL MESSAGE.  These were COMMISSIONED to be AMBASSADORS of the KING, JESUS CHRIST.  It was NOT the APOSTLES, but SEVENTY FOLLOWERS, who were to GO and SHARE about the KINGDOM of GOD. 

 

Jesus KNEW, they would face opposition, much like today.  So He warned them by saying: “He who hears YOU hears ME, he who REJECTS you REJECTS ME, and he who REJECTS ME REJECTS HIM (GOD) Who sent ME.”   In other words, because they REPRESENTED Jesus Christ, Himself, whatever they said about Him and the Kingdom of God, was the SAME THING they would HEAR from Him.  And if they REJECTED the AMBASSADOR’S MESSAGE, it would be the same as REJECTING JESUS CHRIST.  And NOT ONLY REJECTING JESUS, but they would be REJECTING the ALMIGHTY GOD too.  This IS THE GREATEST REJECTION EVER COMITTED among mankind.

 

The CONTINUAL REJECTION of the MESSAGE of JESUS CHRIST, and the REJECTION of Him as SAVIOR and LORD, is the same as REJECTING GOD’S GIFT of SALVATION, and GOD, HIMSELF.  This action stirs up the WRATH of the ALMIGHTY, and brings with it the CONDEMNATION of an UNREPENTANT HEART.  For this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person---such a person is an idolater---has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of GOD.  Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.  Therefore, DO NOT be partners with them.  (Eph. 5:5-7)  

 

John 3:36 tells us the plight of the UNREPENTANT HEART: “…The one who REFUSES to BELIEVE in the Son will NOT see life, instead the WRATH of God remains on them.”  Meaning, they will NOT see an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, but will spend ALL of their ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE after they are there.  King David, in Psalm 21, tells us the END that will come to the ENEMIES of GOD, those who have CONTINUALLY REJECTED, MOCKED, and DEFAMED Him and His Son, JESUS CHRIST.  “Your Hand will lay hold on all Your enemies; Your Right Hand will seize Your foes.  When You appear for battle, you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace.  The LORD will swallow them up in His Wrath, and His Fire will consume them.  You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from mankind.  (VV7-10) PLEASE DO NOT LET this be YOUR DESTINY!!  IF you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, DO IT NOW!  TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and STOP REJECTING HIM!  Then you can RECEIVE HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as your ETERNAL HOME.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him.    John 4:23

 

The HOUR has come for the TRUE, SPIRIT-FILLED WORSHIP of the ONE and ONLY LIVING GOD.  This form of worship, is no longer to be in a certain place.  For the TRUE BELIEVERS, their worship can be anywhere, and at any time.  For TRUE WORSHIP to happen, it MUST BE done when one enters the PRESENCE of God by FAITH.  The physical place doesn’t matter, it’s the fact that the SPIRIT of the TRUE BELIEVER, can TRULY WORSHIP GOD as their spirit draws NEAR to God by FAITH. 

 

Some people think that going through a RITUAL or RITUALS, having the OUTWARD APPEARANCES and the CEREMONIAL ACTS is TRUE WORSHIP.  This is not the TRUE WORSHIP of the SPIRIT, because MOST of the time it is done OUTWARDLY but NOT INWARDLY, If there is ANY INIQUITY in the HEART, there can be NO TRUE WORSHIP, NO MATTER how often these actions are carried out.  TRUE WORSHIP MUST be done within their spirit and NOT just by their ACTIONS.  They MUST HAVE a TRUE RELATIONSHIP with GOD, the FATHER.  And SIN cannot have ANY PLACE in their HEART.  They MUST CONFESS their SINS and SEEK God’s FORGIVENESS, before TRUE SPIRIT-FILLED WORSHIP can happen.

 

The HOUR has come for the ALMIGHTY GOD to be WORSHIPED IN TRUTH, as well as in the SPIRIT.  Some have a FORM of WORSHIP that is NOT in ACCORDANCE to GOD’S WORD, and therefore is a FALSE RELIGION, with FALSE WORSHIP.  In some cases, they REJECT the DEITY of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and when that is the case, they are in actuality REJECTING GOD. This is NOT TRUE, SINCERE WORSHIP.  And it is UNACCEPTABLE to the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD. 

 

The HOUR has come to WORSHIP GOD in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.  He is SEEKING people to COME to HIM and WORSHIP HIM in this manner.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you do not have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him, and cannot WORSHIP Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.  And your SINFUL LIFESTYLE is KEEPING you from an ETERNITY in HEAVEN. Instead you will spend ALL ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  In order for you to ESCAPE this destiny, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and WORSHIP Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. And have the HOPE of HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as your ETERNAL HOME.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“The Fate of the Believer and the Unbeliever”

 

The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in His Hands.  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s Wrath remains on them.    John 3:35-36

 

God’s LOVE is PERFECTED through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself as the ONE and ONLY ACCEPTABLE SACRIFICE, to SAVE mankind from their sins.  This act of REDEMPTION was carried out WILLINGLY, through the SUFFERING, DEATH and RESURRECTION of JESUS Christ, in order for mankind to RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  

 

God LOVES His SON and this SACRIFICAL, REDEMPTIVE ACT, must have brought agony to the very HEART of the LIVING GOD, yet He knew it was the ONLY WAY for mankind to have ETERNAL LIFE in Heaven.  The LOVE of God for His SON is SO DEEP and PURE, unlike that of ANY OTHER Dad for their children, this LOVE compelled God to place EVERYTHING in the HANDS of the LORD JESUS.  This LOVE is an IMPORTANT part of the ALMIGHTY GOD’S HOLINESS, without the LOVE of GOD there would be NO MERCY or GRACE. 

 

In God’s PLAN of SALVATION, we can experience the LOVE of GOD, and reap its benefits, FORGIVENESS, COMPASSION, MERCY and GRACE, ALL of which is spurned on through God’s HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS.  Those who BELIEVE in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God’s Son, will be ABLE to RECEIVE HEAVEN as their ETERNAL HOME, but those who DO NOT BELIEVE and REJECTS the Son, will NOT be able to spend their ETERNITY in HEAVEN, instead it will be spent in HELL with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.  God’s Wrath, which is the SETTLED DISPLEASURE of the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD against sin, will remain on them.  This is the REACTION of RIGHTEOUSNESS to UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.  Which FATE is yours?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then His WRATH remains on you, and if you continue in this manner, then your FATE is that of the UNBELIEVER, which is ETERNAL LIFE in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  You can change that FATE to the FATE of the TRUE BELIEVER, by:  WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and be FORGIVEN, with HEAVEN as your ETERNAL HOME.  Let this be your FATE.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“A Trustworthy Saying”

 

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:  Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners---of whom I am the worst.  But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display His immense patience as an example for those who would believe in Him and receive eternal life.  Now to the King eternal, immortal invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.  Amen.      1Timothy 1:15-17

 

Oh, the UNFAILING LOVE, of a MERCIFUL, RIGHTEOUS, HOLY GOD, who would reach down from Heaven, and RESCUE a WRETCHED sinner, who is in the MIREY pit of HOPELESSNESS, DEPRAVITY, WICKEDNESS, CORRUPTNESS, AND DESPAIR, with an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there, as their ETERNAL DESTINY.  YET, He LOVES them in spite of their condition.  They are PRECIOUS in His SIGHT, but they MUST be willing to TURN AWAY FROM that MIREY PIT and TURN TO GOD for their SALVATION.

 

The Apostle Paul, considered himself, as the WORST of SINNERS, he labeled himself to be a BLASPHEMER, one who speaks irreverently of God or sacred things.  And also, a PERSECUTOR and a VIOLENT MAN.  Yet, GOD, through the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE of His ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, had MERCY on Paul and SAVED his WRETCHED, WICKED, HOPELESS, CORRUPT SOUL from an ETERNITY in HELL.  Paul was shown MERCY and LOVE, because he acted out of IGNORANCE and UNBELIEF.  And Paul was GLORIOUSLY SAVED from an ETERNITY in HELL, because of his FAITH and LOVE for the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Are you like the Apostle Paul? 

 

The TRUSTWORTHY SAYING: “CHRIST JESUS came into the WORLD to SAVE sinners,” like YOU and ME. And God LOVES us and will have MERCY on us, when we SURRENDER in FAITH and have LOVE for Him and His BELOVED SON, Jesus Christ, who gave His LIFE for YOURS, to SAVE YOU from an ETERNITY in HELL, He DIED in YOUR PLACE, and took YOUR SINS to the CROSS, He PAID the PRICE for YOUR FREEDOM from SIN.  And He gives you and ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, IF you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and give GOD the HONOR, GLORY AND PRAISE for EVER and EVER.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“A Firm Place to Stand”

 

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire, He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.     Psalm 40:2

 

King David, a man after God’s Own Heart, yet who occasionally sinned against God.  And when he did sin against God, he felt the impact of that sin. David describes a situation that he found himself in that was comparable to a SLIMY PIT of MUD and MIRE.  It may have been a situation where his sins or rebellion caused him to be in that SLIMY PIT.  Whatever the case, David realized that God was his ONLY DELIVERER, so he cried out to God and then He WAITED PATIENTLY for God’s HELP.  

 

God heard David’s cry and DELIVERED David, by lifting him out of the SLIMY PIT, and out of the MUD and MIRE, which was holding David back, from his FREEDOM.  When God LIFTED David from the SLIMY PIT, He set David’s feet on a ROCK and gave him a FIRM PLACE to STAND. 

 

That is the situation for the UNREPENTANT SOUL, they are caught in the SLIMY PIT of SIN and REBELLION against the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD, they are held by the MUD and MIRE, the SIN and REBELLION that KEEPS them AWAY from God and His SALVATION, the act of SETTING them FREE from their SIN and a DESTINY of an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.  However, when they CRY OUT to God, He will LIFT them UP out of the SLIMY PIT of MUD and MIRE, and SET their FEET on the ROCK, (Jesus Christ) which will give them a FIRM PLACE to STAND. And He will give them a NEW SONG, a HYMN of PRAISE to GOD for their DELIVERANCE.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, through the SHED BLOOD of His Son, Jesus, you are that UNREPENTANT SOUL, who is in the SLIMY PIT of your SIN and REBELLION against God.  You are DESTINED for an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS.  But God is waiting for you to cry out to Him for your DELIVERANCE. You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and let Him LIFT you UP out of the SLIMY PIT and SET your FEET on the ROCK, JESUS CHRIST, a FIRM PLACE to STAND.  And remember this: On Christ, the SOLID ROCK, I STAND, all other ground is SINKING SAND.” (Edward Mote).  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

 

"Only God!"

 

“Only God!”

 

The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice.  He saw that there was no one, He was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so His own arm achieved salvation for Him and His Own Righteousness sustained Him.      Isaiah 59:15b-16

 

The nation of Israel, at the time that the Prophet Isaiah was addressing them, was very CORRUPT SPIRITUALLY, because of their LACK of JUSTICE and RIGHTEOUSNESS, they were living in SPIRITUAL DARKNESS, and suffering from SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS and SPIRITUAL DEATH was knocking at their door.  The Prophet took it upon himself to confess that the SINS of the nation were MANY.  They were in DELIBERATE REBELLION against the Almighty God.  LYING, INJUSTICE, and DISHONESTY seemed to rule the day. 

 

The Lord LOOKED on the nation and was DISPLEASED, there was NO JUSTICE.  And worse yet, there was NO ONE to INTERVENE.  They NEEDED a SAVIOR.  The nation of Israel, could NOT SAVE themselves from their SINS.  ONLY GOD could SAVE the DISTRAUGHT, DOOMED nation.  And so, it is with ANY NATION, when they REBELL against GOD and His Laws, and REJECT His ONE and ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  They are DOOMED to FALL. 

 

It is the same with mankind, mankind can NOT SAVE themselves from their sins, nor can they make themselves PLEASING in God’s sight.  And they too are DOOMED to an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE, after they are there.  ONLY GOD, can SAVE them from this DESTINY.  He sent His SON, Jesus, to die in the place of mankind, for the FORGIVENESS of their SINS. It is ONLY through the SHED BLOOD of JESUS, that mankind can be SAVED and become a TRUE CHILD of the LIVING GOD. 

 

Now, it is YOUR place to ACCEPT His invitation to become a part of His Family.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are NOT HIS CHILD, UNTIL you WILLINGLY TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, because ONLY GOD can SAVE YOU! And RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

"Do Not Lose Heart!"

 

“Do Not Lose Heart!”

 

Therefore, we do not lose heart.  Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.      2 Corinthians 4:16-18

 

For those of us who are classified as “SENIOR ADULTS”, and are TRUE CHILDREN of the LIVING GOD, theses verses are very ENCOURAGING and COMFORTING.  For MOST of us, it is HARD to take GROWING OLD, as our first verse of Scripture says: “We are WASTING AWAY”.  This really should not come as a surprise to any of us.  All we have to do is LOOK in a MIRROR at our reflection.  We can SEE wrinkles, gray hair, or no hair, and so on.  Our minds are not as CLEAR or SHARP as they once were. Many of us have HEALTH PROBLEMS, that stem from growing older. 

 

But while we are WASTING AWAY, OUTWARDLY, INWARDLY we are being RENEWED day by day.  And ALL the things presently, and in the past that has tried to ROB us of our JOY, are LIGHT and MOMENTARY troubles, which are OBTAINING for us an ETERNAL GLORY that FAR outweighs them ALL.  Our spirit is being prepared for an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  As the Apostle Paul quoted the Prophet Isaiah: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.”  (1Corin. 2:9) And we, who are the TRUE CHILDREN of the LIVING GOD, can be WELL ASSURED of this PROMISE.

 

So, instead of getting depressed over our TEMPORARY body, and its condition, along with all our TEMPORARY TROUBLES, which we see NOW, we SHOULD FOCUS, or fix our gaze on the things that CANNOT be SEEN.  For the things we SEE NOW will SOON be GONE, but the THINGS we CANNOT SEE will be ETERNAL. 

 

However, for those who have NOT given their HEART and LIFE to God, they are DESTINED for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.  John 3:18, says: “Whoever believes in Him is NOT condemned, but whoever does NOT believe stands CONDEMNED already.”  In order to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for YOU, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and DO NOT LOSE HEART, STAY FOCUSED on the UNSEEN THINGS of ABOVE, and RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

 

 

"A Different Kind of Love!"

 

“A Different Kind of Love!”

 

Dear Friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.  Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.  This is how God showed His love among us; He sent His One and Only Son into the world that we might live through Him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.     (1^st John 4:7-9)

 

John, the Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, immediately emphasizes that GOD IS LOVE, and because God is LOVE, we SHOULD LOVE one another.  Now, this LOVE that is discussed here, is NOT like the LOVE that man has for a woman, or moms and dads have for their children, nor is it the same kind of love that friends have for each other.  This LOVE is an AGAPE LOVE, or a GODLY LOVE.  And it is generated from a REPENTANT HEART.  In other words, it is a LOVE that is demonstrated by God’s Holy Spirit which indwells EVERY TRUE BELIEVER. 

 

This type of LOVE is DIFFERENT than HUMAN LOVE, it was NOT shown or given to us because we FIRST LOVED God, because, before a person becomes a TRUE CHILD of God, they are His enemies.  they lived in REBELLION against Him and His LAWS, and they did NOT show Him a LOVE that would COMPEL Him to LOVE them BACK.  This type LOVE is a LOVE that is NOT based on CONDITIONS or CIRCUMSTANCES, neither is it based on LOOKS, INTELLIGENCE, or one’s STATION in this life.  But it is GIVEN to US, because GOD FIRST LOVED US.

 

He manifested His LOVE for ALL of MANKIND, by sending His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON into this LOST and DYING world, as the ATONING SACRIFICE for our TRANSGRESSIONS.  And for those who will ACCEPT His LOVE, exemplified through the SHED BLOOD of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, they WILL have an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS. It is an AWESOME FEELING to EXPERIENCE GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE, and to have the ASSURANCE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN. 

 

Those, who are God’s TRUE CHILDREN and are EXPERIENCING this DIFFERENT KIND of LOVE, need to LOVE each other, and that MEANS you LOVE the others of GOD’S FAMILY, with the LOVE of GOD.  A LOVE that is PATIENT, KIND, NOT ENVIOUS or BOASTFUL, PRIDEFUL, DISHONORABLE, or SELF-SEEKING, and ANGRY, and does NOT KEEP RECORD of WRONGS. It does NOT DELIGHT in EVIL, but REJOICES with the TRUTH. And it ALWAYS PROTECTS, TRUSTS, HOPES, and PERSEVERES.  Are YOU experiencing GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE?

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to Him, then you definitely are NOT EXPERIENCING this DIFFERENT KIND of LOVE, a LOVE that can determine your DESTINY.  God LOVES YOU so MUCH that He gave His ONLY SON to DIE in YOUR PLACE.  He PAID the PRICE for YOUR SINS.  If you REJECT GOD’S LOVE and His SON, YOU will spend ALL of ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, VOID of GOD’S LOVE, and NO WAY to ESCAPE.  In order to EXPERIENCE this DIFFERENT KIND of LOVE, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM, your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. WARNING: Don’t Be Caught Unaware!

 

“Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”     Luke 21:36

 

This verse of Scripture, was the Words of the Lord Jesus to His Disciples.  It was a WARNING about the END TIMES, and all the things that would take place prior to His Second Coming.  He wanted them to NOT be CAUGHT UNAWARE, but that they SHOULD be ALWAYS on the WATCH and to PRAY that they might be able to ESCAPE ALL that was going to happen.

 

This WARNING is definitely APPLICABLE for the TRUE BELIEVER, today, I BELIEVE, with ALL my HEART, that we are SO CLOSE to the END of TIME, which includes the RAPTURE of God’s TRUE CHILDREN, those who have given their HEART and LIFE to Him.  And these WORDS of WARNING, which the LORD JESUS spoke to His Disciples, can be applied to US, as well as it was to them. 

 

Jesus gave them two VERY IMPORTANT THINGS to do, in order for them to BE READY for His RETURN.  First was for them to WATCH, in other words, BE ON ALERT, don’t get so CAUGHT UP in what is taking place in the world, and with worldly things, but WATCH what happens daily and PREPARE yourselves for your FLIGHT, (RAPTURE).  You do this by PRAYING DAILY, keeping IN TOUCH with your HEAVENLY FATHER, DRAWING CLOSE to Him, and LIVING by FAITH, and NOT BY SIGHT.  TRUST in HIM at ALL TIMES, this is SO IMPORTANT, because TRUSTING in Him, will STRENGTHEN your FAITH in Him, and it will PREPARE you for what is COMING. 

 

Are YOU READY to STAND in ACCEPTANCE before the Son of Man, the Lord Jesus Christ?  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you are NOT READY, because right NOW, you are HEADED for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  But God is giving you the OPPORTUNITY NOW, to change your destiny, and to NOT BE CAUGHT UNAWARE.  You can do that by:  WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before GOD.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and DON’T BE CAUGHT UNAWARE, But WATCH and PRAY, for your REDEMPTION is drawing to completion.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“An Example of a PERSISTENT FAITH”

 

“Learn a lesson from this unjust judge.  Even he rendered a just decision in the end.  So, don’t you think God will surely give justice to His chosen people who cry out to Him day and night?  Will He keep putting them off?  I tell you; He will grant justice to them quickly!  But when the Son of Man returns, how many will He find on the earth who have faith?”     Luke 18:6-8

 

One day Jesus told His disciples a story about a PRESISTENT widow, and her encounter with an UNJUST JUDGE.  Jesus wanted His Disciples to see that they should ALWAYS PRAY and NEVER GIVE UP.  In this story, there was a widow who came to the judge REPEATEDLY, saying: “Give me JUSTICE in the dispute with my enemy.”  The judge just IGNORED her for a while, but then he said to himself; “I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me CRAZY. I’m going to see that she gets JUSTICE, because she is wearing me out with her CONSTANT requests!”

 

Now the lesson for us to LEARN is this:  If an UNJUST JUDGE would give JUSTICE, then just think how the JUST JUDGE, the ALMIGHTY GOD, will see to it, that His OWN CHILDREN, the TRUE BELIEVERS, will get JUSTICE and QUICKLY!  They may have their FAITH tested, but if they are PERSISTENT in their FAITHFUL PRAYERS.  God will be FAITHFUL to see that they RECEIVE JUSTICE.  However, we MUST HAVE a STRONG, STEADFAST and PERSISTENT FAITH in the ONLY ONE who will bring JUSTICE to HIS People.   The Lord Jesus closed His Story with a question: “When the Son of Man (Jesus), returns how many will He find on the earth who have FAITH?”  This FAITH that He was referring to may have be the SAME type FAITH that the widow had, which was a PERSISTENT FAITH.  And maybe He was referring to a small number who will be here and will be FAITHFUL to Him.  But whatever the meaning, I believe that the lesson to be learned is that  we SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP on GOD or His SON, the Lord Jesus Christ, who LOVED us SO MUCH, that He gave His LIFE for US, that we MIGHT have EVERLASTING LIFE, in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and be able to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS. 

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, your FAITH is NOT in Him, but in the SINFUL things of this LOST WORLD.  And you’re destined to spend ALL of YOUR ETERNITY in HELL, unless you WILLINGLY TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and have a STRONG, STEADFAST and PERSISTENT FAITH in Him, and NEVER GIVE UP!  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

 

"Who is BLESSED?"

 

“Who is BLESSED?”

 

Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven; whose sins are covered.  Blessed is the one whose sin the LORD does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.         Psalm 32:1-2

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He chose for His inheritance.        Psalm 33:12

 

  BLESSED:  Blissfully happy or contented.

 

Just who is a BLESSED person, our verses today gives us the answer.  A BLESSED person is one whose TRANSGRESSIONS are forgiven, they can REJOICE and be GLAD, HAPPY and CONTENT, because their SINS are FORGIVEN.  Their TRANSGRESSIONS will never be remembered by God, He will REMOVE THEM as far as the EAST is from the WEST, because of His GREAT LOVE for His own.  That amount of FORGIVENESS is something to REJOICE and be GLAD about. 

 

Those who have TRULY GIVEN their HEARTS and LIVES to God, by COMING to Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and CONFESSING their SINS to Him, then BELIEVING, with ALL their HEART, that JESUS died and was RESURRECTED from DEATH and the GRAVE, in order for them to have ETERNAL LIFE in Heaven, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, THEY are the ONES who are BLESSED.  Are you in this category?

 

Another group who are BLESSED, are the NATIONS of the world, whose God is the LORD, those whose people are GOD’S CHILDREN, and the NATION that will HONOR, RESPECT and UPHOLD GOD’S LAWS.  A nation that will NOT PERSECUTE those who WORSHIP the TRUE LIVING GOD, but will HONOR and RESPECT their WORSHIP.  That nation will be BLESSED.  This attitude can be accomplished when there is the PROPER, RIGHT, GODLY LEADERSHIP in place, then will God bring the BLESSINGS on such a nation.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, you are NOT His Child and you will not be BLESSED.  In order to receive God’s BLESSINGS, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and BE BLESSED.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“The Intimate Knowledge of the Omnipresent God”

 

“O LORD, You have searched me and known me.  You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar.  You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways.  Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it all.”    Psalm 139:1-4

“Where can I go from Your Spirit?  Or where can I flee from Your presence?  If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold You are there.”     Psalm 139:7-8

 

This Psalm is probably one of the MOST beautiful Psalms that David ever penned.  It reveals to us the MEDITATIONS of David’s HEART, concerning the three major attributes of the Almighty God, which are His OMNISCIENCE, OMNIPRESENCE, and His OMNIPOTENCE.  His OMNISCIENCE is His KNOWLEDGE, but it’s NOT just His KNOWLEDGE, but His INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE of the Crown of His CREATION, MANKIND.  We see this KNOWLEDGE throughout this Psalm.  God had a PRECISE KNOWLEDGE of David, He SEARCHED or INVESTIGATED David’s heart, and KNEW Him, to the point that God KNEW, when DAVID SAT down and when he would RISE UP.  He KNEW what DAVID was THINKING even before he THOUGHT it.  He investigated David’s path, and KNEW whenever David was lying down.  God even KNEW what David would say before he said it. The POINT is GOD KNEW David INTIMATELY!  He KNEW EVERYTHING that was to be KNOWN about him.  And He KNOWS EVERYTHING there is to KNOW about YOU.  EVEN to the very HAIRS on your HEAD, God know it ALL!!

 

God is NOT ONLY ALL KNOWING; He is EVERYWHERE at the SAME TIME.  David said:  “Where can I go from Your Spirit?  Or where can I flee from Your presence?  If I ascend to heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, (the abode of the dead) You are there.”  David was indicating that WHEREVER he went GOD was THERE.  He could NOT HIDE from Him, because He was ALWAYS with David.  NO MATTER where David went, whether the HIGHEST HEAVEN, or the LOWEST PART of the EARTH, God was THERE.  YOU CANNOT HIDE or ESCAPE the PRESENCE of the ALMIGHTY GOD, because He is EVERYWHERE!  He is OMNIPRESENT!

 

God is OMNIPOTENT, He has the POWER to CREATE out of NOTHING, SOMETHING.  The CREATION itself is EVIDENCE of GOD’S AMAZING POWER.  He not ONLY gives us PHYSICAL LIFE, but SPIRITUAL LIFE also. He is the ONLY ONE who CAN KEEP MANKIND out of an ETERNITY in HELL, through the SACRIFICAL BLOOD of His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.  He has the POWER to give LIFE and to take it AWAY.  He is the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, and one day, He will JUDGE the WORLD of its WICKEDNESS. 

 

David ends this Psalm saying: “Search me, O God, and KNOW my HEART; TRY me and KNOW my HEART; Try me and KNOW my anxious thoughts; and see if there be ANY HURTFUL way in me, and LEAD me in the EVERLASTING WAY.  Can you pray this PRAYER with the ASSURANCE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS?  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you don’t have that ASSURANCE.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life, and to TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to HIM and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and come to the realization, that GOD KNOWS ALL ABOUT YOU!!  You can’t RUN or HIDE from Him, He’s EVERYWHERE and He’s your ONLY HOPE for HEAVEN.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.”    Psalm 66:18

 

What, exactly does the Psalmist mean, when he says: “If I REGARD iniquity in my heart?”  He means: “If I EMBRACE iniquity in my heart,” or “If I TREASURE iniquity in my heart,” or even, “If I CLING to the iniquity in my heart” then the Lord will not hear me.”  And remember that INIQUITY is SIN, EVILDOING, or WICKEDNESS.  So, what the Psalmist is saying is, “if I REGARD, EMBRACE, TREASURE, or CLING TO iniquity, which I have hidden, in my HEART, God will NOT hear me when I pray.  We MUST CONFESS ALL our sins to Him, before we ATTEMPT to have a conversation with Him.

 

He is HOLY and RIGHTEOUS, and we are NOT, He is TOTALLY WITHOUT A SINFUL NATURE, and we are NOT.  The Prophet Isaiah tells us how an UNCLEAN person is in the sight of the HOLY and RIGHTEOUS GOD: “All of us have become like one who is UNCLEAN, and ALL our RIGHTEOUS ACTS are like FILTHY RAGS; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins SWEEP us AWAY.” (Isa. 64:6) When this is the case, our CONNECTION with God is BROKEN, until we CONFESS our INIQUITIES, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. 

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you have a BROKEN CONNECTION with God, and will, until you come to Him and CONFESS your INIQUITIES to Him.  He will NOT LISTEN to you, until YOU PRAY for His FORGIVENESS, and become His TRUE CHILD.  You do that by: WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY SON, died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  And to RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  And to NO LONGER have a BROKEN CONNECTION with the ALMIGHTY GOD.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

People will oppress each other---man against man, neighbor against neighbor.  The young will rise up against the old, the nobody against the honored.   Isaiah 3:5

 

Judah and Jerusalem were about to face some pretty HARSH judgment, because they had SINNED against HOLY, RIGHTEOUS, GOD, and denied Him the HONOR that HE ALONE, is WORTHY of.  Therefore, God brought JUDGEMENT upon them. Now, I believe that there is a LESSON for US today.  The verse we are targeting, today, gives us an account of the conditions of both Judah and Jerusalem during this time of JUDGMENT, People will OPPRESS each other.  This means that they PREY ON each other, they persecute, harass, pick-on, afflict, and on, and on it goes, I think we can see some of these things happening DAILY in our NATION.  I wonder if this could be the BEGINNING of GOD’S JUDGMENT on THIS NATION, because of the LACK of RESPECT it demonstrates in and through SINFUL, DEPRAVED, DECEPTIVE, CORRUPT actions.  And NOT LIVING by God’s Laws.  This is NO HONOR for the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD, CREATOR of ALL MANKIND. 

 

There is also, NO HONOR among the PEOPLE, they OPPRESS each other, man against man, neighbor against neighbor.  ABORTION, MURDER, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, ROBBERIES, ARSON, RIOTS, BEATINGS, ANARCHY, WARS, ETC., these are EVIDENCES of people who have NO HONOR for each other.  They also are EVIDENCES of a SOCIETY, which shows NO HONOR for the ALMIGHTY GOD and His Laws.  These SOCIETIES will LEAD a NATION into DESTRUCTION and eventually into TOTAL ANNIHILATION. And again, this is exemplifying: NO HONOR.

 

The young will rise up against the old, the nobody against the honored.  We have seen these things taking place, just recently, with the ELDERLY being attacked on the streets of some of these big cities, where the GOVERNMENTS have been WEAK and USELESS---NO HONOR!  Some of the WORSE displays of NO HONOR, have been with the ATTACKS and MURDERS on our LAW ENFORCEMENT.  These things become the NORM for NATIONS that SHOWS NO HONOR for ALMIGHTY GOD and His Laws. 

 

The Prophet Isaiah issued a WARNING, for Judah and Jerusalem, that is APPLICABLE for those who carry out their WICKED DEEDS, TODAY: “WOE TO THE WICKED! DISASTER IS UPON THEM!  THEY WILL BE PAID BACK FOR WHAT THEIR HANDS HAVE DONE.” (v 11)   

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you are giving Him NO HONOR, and you are destined to spend your ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  But God has a PLAN for YOU to change that destiny, which is, for you to HONOR Him by:  TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS CHRIST, died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and HONOR HIM, by LIVING according to His HOLY SPIRIT, which will be LIVING INSIDE of YOU.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“A Love That Compels”

 

For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.  And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.      2 Corinthians 5:14-15

 

In an individual’s lifetime, they will experience different types of LOVE.  But the ONE LOVE that excels ALL other types is the LOVE of JESUS CHRIST, this LOVE is what is KNOWN as an AGAPE LOVE or the LOVE of GOD.  And Jesus Christ, God’s Son, who SUFFERED, BLED and DIED a HORRIBLE, TORTUROUS death on a RUGGED, WOODEN CROSS, so that WRETCHED, SINFUL, mankind could be RECONCILED to the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS God of ALL creation, is the personification of COMPELLING LOVE.

 

Jesus Christ was born solely for the purpose of illustrating the COMPELLING LOVE of a MERCIFUL, GRACIOUS, LOVING GOD, who so LOVED His creation, MANKIND, that He was willing to COME to EARTH as a HUMAN BEING, and LIVE a SINLESS LIFE, ministering to mankind, and LOVING them with an UNENDING, UNFAILING LOVE, which is drawing many people to Him for their SALVATION and a relationship of RECONCILIATION. 

 

For those who are willing to TURN AWAY FROM their sinful lifestyles, because of the LOVE that COMPELS them, they are CONVINCED that the ONE, JESUS CHRIST, DIED for ALL and therefore ALL must DIE to their OLD LIFE, and NO LONGER LIVE for themselves, but to LIVE for the ONE who SUFFERED, BLED, and DIED for them, and was RAISED again, from DEATH and the GRAVE, in order for them to have RECONCILIATION and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be able to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS. This is POSSIBLE because of a LOVE that COMPELS THEM. 

 

Have you experienced the LOVE that COMPELS you to COME to JESUS for the SALVATION of your soul?  Have you DIED to YOURSELF, and are you LIVING for Christ? Have you been RECONCILED to the ALMIGHTY GOD?  If your answer is NO to these questions, then you are destined to spend your ETERNITY in HELL.  But God has provided a WAY for you to ESCAPE that DESTINY.  And this is the PLAN: You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and allow His LOVE to COMPEL you to LIVE for HIM.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“God’s Pleasure and His Displeasure”

 

“For in Just a little while, the Coming One will come and NOT delay.  And My Righteous Ones will live by faith.  But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”  But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction.  We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.     Hebrews 10:37-39

 

The TRUE BELIEVER is the person who posses a STRONG, PATIENT ENDURANCE while they LIVE by FAITH in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, those who have TRULY GIVEN their HEART and LIFE to God, and will FAITHFULLY serve and worship Him.  They BELIEVE and TRUST in His PROMISES, even though they are UNSEEN.  And they may face FIERCE PERSECUTION, but they remain STEADFAST with a CONFIDENT TRUST in God, because they KNOW that BETTER THINGS are waiting for them, things that are ETERNAL and NOT like earthly things, which are temporal.  This is what PLEASES GOD.

 

However, those who may HEAR the WORD, and are given EVERY OPPORTUNITY to ACCEPT GOD’S Gift of SALVATION, yet REJECT His ONE and ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who has PAID the PRICE for their SINS, but THEY want NO PART of this SALVATION PLAN.  They continue to LIVE by the FLESH and its WORLDLY, CORRUPT, WICKED desires.  They care NOT about God’s PROMISES or what is PLEASING to Him.  They are, to some extent, SELF-CENTERED, ARROGANT, DECEPTIVE, and UNBELIEVING.  ALL of which are DISPLEASING to God.  And they face the WORSE DESTINY, ever imagined; an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after they are there.  So, which are you, PLEASING or DISPLEASING to GOD?

 

NOTICE, the last verse, the writer tells us that the TRUE BELIEVERS are NOT like those who TURN AWAY FROM GOD, and to their OWN destruction.  The TRUE BELIEVERS are the FAITHFUL ONES, whose SOULS will be SAVED from an ETERNITY in HELL, and are KEPT for an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  In order to become a TRUE BELIEVER and to be PLEASING to GOD.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and LIVE by a STEADFAST FAITH in GOD and His PROMISES, and be PLEASING to Him, with the PROMISE of an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

Just what are the THINGS that the WORLD offers?  We see the answer in verse sixteen:  The WORLD offers ONLY a craving for physical pleasures, a craving for everything we see, and PRIDE in our achievements and possessions.  These cravings are NOT prompted by God, but they are from this WORLD.  They are the VERY things that will PULL a person AWAY FROM God and into WICKEDNESS, EVIL, and a WORLD filled with SINS galore.  You cannot LOVE and SERVE God and be caught up in these cravings.  They are tools of the devil used to KEEP you AWAY from SALVATION and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN.

 

The craving for physical pleasures is a craving for sensual gratification, this is the LACKING in MORAL restraints, participating in LEWD or LUSTFUL acts.  The craving for everything we SEE is a craving for things we see and do not possess, but LONG for. It is COVETING and DESIRING what we SEE and do NOT have.  The PRIDE of LIFE is being PRIDEFUL of what we have, and putting our TRUST in EARTHLY THINGS, rather than putting our TRUST in GOD.  These are NOT from FATHER GOD, but from an EVIL, SIN-LADEN WORLD. 

 

It is IMPORTANT to KEEP in MIND that this WORLD will, one day, PASS AWAY and along with it EVERYTHING that the PEOPLE CRAVED and CLUNG in order to SATISFY their cravings.  EXCEPT for those who have given their HEARTS and LIVES to GOD, and have made the decision to TURN AWAY FROM their sinful lifestyle with ALL the CRAVINGS, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. They will LIVE throughout ETERNITY in HEAVEN, if they will CONFESS their sins to God, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.   Then BELIEVE, with ALL their HEART, that JESUS died for them, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them, before God.  They MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and STOP participating in the CRAVINGS that the WORLD offers. Instead, they MUST ACCEPT GOD’S plan for an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His steadfast love toward those who fear Him.    Psalm 103:11

 

So many times, we focus on God’s attitude towards SIN, and those who are GUILTY of SIN.  And it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to KNOW what God’s attitude towards SIN is, because it gives us a TRUE PICTURE of His RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS, which are TWO ATTRIBUTES, which the TRUE BELIEVER MUST POSSESS, in order to become a TRUE CHILD of the LIVING GOD. And it will be the DETERMINING FACTOR in the DESTINY of MANKIND.

 

So, let us look at what COMPELLED the ALMIGHTY GOD to SAVE MANKIND from their SINS and to OFFER them the HOPE of an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  That would be, His STEADFAST LOVE for MANKIND.  Verse eight tells us: “The LORD is MERCIFUL and GRACIOUS, SLOW TO ANGER, and ABOUNDING in STEADFAST LOVE.”  Now, being MERCIFUL and GRACIOUS, and SLOW TO ANGER are attributes, which are fueled by GOD’S STEADFAST LOVE, which means it’s a LOVE that is FIRM in PURPOSE, UNWAVERING, and FIRMLY ESTABLISHED. 

 

We know that MERCY means to NOT GET what we DESERVE, and GRACE means that we GET what we DON’T DESERVE.  So, God will NOT ALWAYS SCOLD, nor will He KEEP His anger forever.  He does NOT deal with us according to our SINS, nor repay us according to our iniquities, which is the MERCIFUL part of His STEADFAST LOVE.  Instead, He will FORGIVE the SINS of those who come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and HE will REMOVE our TRANSGRESSIONS from us, as far as the EAST is from the WEST, because He KNOWS and REMEMBERS that we are DUST, and that is GRACE, the other aspect of His STEADFAST LOVE. 

 

The STEADFAST LOVE of the LORD is from EVERLASTING to EVERLASTING on those who fear Him or REVERENCE Him.  If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you can do it NOW, and EXPERIENCE His STEADFAST LOVE, along with His MERCY and GRACE. To do that, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and EXPERIENCE His MERCY and GRACE, because of His STEADFAST LOVE for YOU.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“A Heart Full of Iniquity”

 

“The heart is deceitful above all things. And desperately wicked; Who can know it?”         Jeremiah 17:9

 

INIQUITY:  Wickedness, twisted, distorted, depraved

 

Our verse of Scripture, from the Book of Jeremiah, tells us that mankind’s HEART is DECEITFUL above ALL things.  The HEART of mankind tries to DECEIVE mankind into BELIEVING that EVIL is GOOD and GOOD is EVIL.  And it shines a FALSE LIGHT on the very existence of GOD, making some BELIEVE that God does NOT exist.  It tries to lead one to BELIEVE that even if GOD did exist, He does NOT see nor does He REQUIRE anything from them.  It will LEAD them to their OWN SELF-DESTRUCTION. 

 

The HEART of mankind is also DESPERATELY WICKED, meaning it is FULL of INIQUITY.  The term DESPERATELY means it has an URGENT DESIRE to carry out its WICKED acts of DEPRAVITY.  The HUMAN HEART is HOPELESSLY DANGEROUS, in its NATURAL, DEPRAVED state.  Meaning that, without the CLEANSING BLOOD of God’s PERFECT LAMB, the Lord Jesus Christ, there is NO HOPE for an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS, but ONLY an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE, after you are there. 

 

There MUST BE a CHANGE in the HUMAN HEART, SPIRITUALLY speaking.  This CHANGE is known as the act of REGENERATION or SPIRITUAL REBIRTH. This SPIRITUAL REBIRTH is when a person dies to their OLD SINFUL lifestyle, by TURNING AWAY FROM their OLD, PAST sins and TURNING TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESSING their SINS to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL their HEART, that JESUS died for them, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession, for them, before God.  And then they MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and be “BORN AGAIN” (Spiritually speaking), and POSSESS a CLEAN and CONTRITE HEART, and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me!  Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.     Psalm 19:13

 

TRANSGRESSION:  Crossing the line, overstepping, doing wrong, disobedience.

 

King David was praying for a COMPLETE CLEANSING, in order to LIVE an UPRIGHT and ACCEPTABLE LIFE before God.  He prayed that he would be forgiven of his HIDDEN FAULTS, and his presumptuous, (willful) acts of disobedience.  He prayed that God would give him STRENGTH to NOT let the sins have DOMINION (control) over him.

 

Then he would be INNOCENT of GREAT TRANSGRESSIONS.  If David, who was a man after God’s Own Heart, SINNED and TRANSGRESSED, against God, felt the NEED to PLEAD for a COMPLETE CLEANSING, so that he might LIVE an UPRIGHT and ACCEPTABLE LIFE before the ALMIGHTY GOD, what would give US the idea that WE could LIVE SINFUL lives, and TRANSGRESS or DISOBEY God and ESCAPE His WRATH?  It just won’t happen.

 

David tells us: “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven; whose sin is covered.” (Ps. 32:1), FORGIVEN and COVERED, are two words that are COMFORTING to those who are willing to TURN AWAY FROM their SINFULNESS and their TRANSGRESSIONS, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. And the KNOWLEDGE that the act of the FORGIVENESS of their sins, and the fact that those sins are COMPLETELY COVERED with the SHED BLOOD of GOD’S PERFECT LAMB, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONE and ONLY Son, who GAVE HIS LIFE that WE might have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, gives us ASSURANCE of GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE. 

 

To be FORGIVEN and have your sins COVERED, you MUST CONFESS your sins to GOD, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and be INNOCENT of GREAT TRANSGRESSIONS. Then you too, will be COMPLETELY CLEANSED from your sins, and will spend your ETERNITY in Heaven.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!

“Sin”

 

When Adam sinned, sin entered the world.  Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.    Romans 5:12

 

Sin means that you have MISSED the MARK.  You do NOT meet, nor could you have ever met God’s standards set for SALVATION.  Because when Adam sinned, ALL mankind was and is born with a SINFUL NATURE.  And without the SHED BLOOD of that PERFECT LAMB that was SACRIFICED on an OLD RUGGED CROSS, who DIED in OUR place, to REDEEM us from our SINS, we could NEVER MEET the MARK of the HOLY RIGHTEOUS GOD. 

 

Sin takes us where we don’t want to go---HELL.  Keeps us longer than we want to STAY---ETERNITY.  And COSTS us MORE than we want to pay OUR ETERNAL LIFE---HEAVEN.  This is a DESTINY that you won’t be able to CHANGE, after your physical death.  It is ETERNAL, and the CHOICE is up to YOU. 

 

Sin NOT only destroys earthly lives, it ROBS you of an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, ETERNAL SEPARATION from GOD and ALL that is GOOD.  And it brings you ETERNAL HEARTACHE, AGONY, and DESPAIR, with NO HOPE for ETERNITY.

 

 However, God is giving you the OPPORTUNITY to CHANGE your DESTINY NOW, if you are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS CHRIST, GOD’S ONLY SON, died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and LET the BLOOD of JESUS WASH AWAY ALL your SINS.  And spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!
