“TRUE Love”

 “TRUE Love”

And you MUST love the LORD your God with ALL your heart, ALL your soul, and ALL your strength.    Deuteronomy 6:5

TRUE LOVE is a LOVE that is STRONG, STEADFAST, FAITHFUL, PATIENT, and ENDURING or PERMANENT.  It will TRULY withstand the ADVERSITIES of the days, weeks, and years, in which we will encounter.  It does NOT diminish in STRENGTH nor WAIVER in being STEADFAST and FAITHFUL.  It is INTIMATE in its nature, and desires a CLOSE RELATIONSHIP between those who possess it.

This is the type of LOVE that the LORD GOD, ALMIGHTY desires to have with His Children, those who have given their HEARTS and LIVES to Him, through their ACCEPTANCE of the SUPREME SACRIFICE that was given on their behalf, by the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God’s Only Son, who SUFFERED, BLED and DIED, then RESURRECTED from DEATH and the GRAVE, that they MIGHT have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be ABLE to ESCAPE an ETERNAL LIFE in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.  

This type of LOVE, SHOULD be INTIMATE in NATURE, and in order to have an INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP with GOD, we MUST SPEND an uninterrupted TIME with Him alone, in a QUIET place, so we can pour out our HEARTS to Him, in REPENTANCE, and ALLOW Him to SPEAK to us and COMFORT us, when we are in distress.  It should be a TIME of WORSHIP and PRAISE to our HEAVENLY FATHER.  And it should be a DEEP, ABIDING LOVE that will LAST throughout ETERNITY.  Can you TRUTHFULLY say that you have that KIND of LOVE for the LORD GOD, and His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST?  If you were ARRESTED because of your RELATIONSHIP with God, would there be enough evidence of this type of LOVE for God, to CONVICT you?

In order to have such a TRUE LOVE for God, you MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who died for YOU.  And you MUST BELIVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And you MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and have that TRUE LOVE with Him and His Son.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  And you DON’T want to BE LEFT BEHIND!!!
