 “Living A Life Worthy Of His Call”

So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of His call.  May He give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.       2 Thessalonians 1:11

The Apostle Paul always seems to have a GENUINE LOVE and CARE for the Believers in Thessalonica, and everywhere, he has ministered.  He is always offering prayers for their SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING, which is very admirable of him.  And his words are applicable for the Believers of today too.  He ENCOURAGES them to LIVE a life WORTHY of the ALMIGHTY GOD’S CALL on their life.  

It SHOULD be the nature of EVERY TRUE BELIEVER, to GLORIFY GOD EVERY DAY.  They should do this in order for God to FULFILL His purposes in their lives, and that they might LIFT the PRECIOUS NAME of JESUS CHRIST, GOD’S ONLY SON, that it might be GLORIFIED. JESUS GAVE His Life to SAVE their sinful souls from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once they are there. And to provide for them an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS. 

The TRUE BELIEVER, can be CONFIDENT even in SUFFERING and PERSECUTION, because they have been CHOSEN by God, and they can have the ASSURANCE that He will NEVER FORSAKE them.  Paul tells us in Philippians 1:6:  He is CERTAIN that God, who began the Good Work within you, will continue His Work until it is finally finished on the Day when Christ Jesus returns.  So, it is the RESPONSIBILITY of the TRUE BELIEVER, to LIVE their LIVES WORTHY of GOD’S CALL on their LIVES.  And to ALLOW God to WORK out His PERFECT PLAN in their lives through THEIR FAITH and OBEDIENCE and HIS MIGHTY POWER.  

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, you are headed for an ETERNITY in HELL.  In order to CHANGE that COURSE, you MUST FIRST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  And then you MUST BELIEVE that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then you MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and start LIVING A LIFE WORTHY of HIS CALL.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t be LEFT BEHIND!!!
