 “The Fruit Of Salvation”

May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.    Philippians 1:11

This is a part of a prayer voiced by the Apostle Paul for the TRUE BELIEVERS in Philippi.  And it is very applicable for the TRUE BELIEVERS, wherever they may be.  The first thing Paul voices is that those TRUE BELIEVERS would ALWAYS be FILLED with the Fruit of their SALVATION, which is the RIGHTEOUS CHARACTER that is produced in their lives by JESUS CHRIST, who PROVIDED their SALVATION, through His REDEMPTIVE WORK, by SUFFERING, BLEEDING, DYING, and being RESURRECTED from the GRAVE.  This FRUIT is produced by the HOLY SPIRIT, Who indwells every TRUE BELIEVER at the time of their conversion.  It is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, and SELF-CONTROL.  

These attributes are essential in the CHRISTIAN MATURING of the TRUE BELIEVER.  These are qualities that EVERY TRUE BELIEVER should POSSESS and work at keeping them evident in their DAILY LIFE.  It is the EVIDENCE of the RIGHTEOUSNESS they possess with the HOLY RIGHTEOUS GOD.   And it brings MUCH GLORY and PRAISE to Him.  They TESTIFY to the VALIDITY of their RELATIONSHIP they have with God and His Son, Jesus Christ.  Do you possess such a relationship?

In order to be FILLED with the FRUIT of your SALVATION, you MUST TRULY be SAVED.  And in order to be SAVED you MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS, who GAVE His Life in order for YOU to have an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS. You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  And you MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and POSSESS the FRUIT of  your SALVATION.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON, and you DON’T want to be LEFT BEHIND!!!
