“An Imitator of Godliness”

A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things the treasury of an evil heart.  Matthew 12:35

In the twelfth Chapter of Matthew, we see that the Pharisees, a religious group was accusing Jesus of having His POWER to HEAL and CAST out DEMONS from the Prince of DEMONS, Satan. These Pharisees had hardened their HEARTS against JESUS. They actually wanted to do away with Him by ANY MEANS NECESSARY.   They were IMITATORS of GODLINESS.  And it was their DESIRE to do AWAY with the TRUE MESSIAH.  

Jesus told the people that was around Him that; A GOOD person produces GOOD THINGS from their HEART. And this indicates a GOOD HEART.  He was saying that, the WORDS that are SPOKEN from the lips are EVIDENCE of the CONDITION of the HEART.  And an EVIL person produces EVIL things, which indicates that they posses an EVIL HEART.  

MOST people don’t think that the things they do are EVIL, yet their WORDS tell a DIFFERENT Story, so, they become an IMITATOR of GODLINESS.  It is VERY DISTURBING, to me, when an individual gets in a crowd of people, and tries to be SOMETHING their NOT.  A GODLY person will recognize them as IMITATORS of GODLINESS, because in one instance, they are letting CURSE WORDS fly from their EVIL LIPS.  And the next they try to QUOTE SCRIPTURE, as if they are GODLY.  They do this for their OWN BENEFIT.  Sometimes, it is to gain something that they WANT VERY BADLY.   But GOD KNOWS the CONDITION of their HEART.   And on JUDGMENT DAY they will give an ACCOUNT for EVERY IDLE Word they SPEAK.   And their WORDS will either ACQUIT or CONDEMN them.   Are YOU an IMITATOR of GODLINESS?

If you have NOT GIVEN YOUR HEART and LIFE to God, through the SHED BLOOD of His ONLY SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who has SUFFERED, BLED, DIED, and RESURRECTED from DEATH and the GRAVE, to SAVE YOUR SOUL from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there, then this will be your DESTINY.  However, You have the OPPORTUNITY NOW to CHANGE that DESTINY.  This is what YOU MUST DO.  You MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the Savior, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who DIED to give YOU an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.   You MUST BELIEVE, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And you MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and become a TRUE BELIEVER, in CHRIST JESUS and become a GOOD PERSON producing GOOD THINGS, and NOT AN IMITATOR of GODLINESS.  So, do this NOW, while you STILL can!!!  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!! Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!
