I take joy in doing Your will, my God, for Your instructions are written on my heart.------Psalm 40:8
As God's children, can we like the Palmist, King David, say that we "take JOY" in doing the will of GOD! Or do we like so many others, have a FEAR of doing the WILL of the ALMIGHTY GOD.
Some are afraid to really OPEN themselves up to the WILL of GOD, because it might pull them out of their comfort zones and cause them to do things that they have NEVER done before and it brings GENUINE FEAR into their HEARTS, because of a LACK of FAITH and TRUST in God Almighty.
If He CALLS you to do something that you have NEVER done before, He WILL definitely EQUIP you to do it. He will NOT WALK away from you and leave you HELPLESS, instead He will be with you, by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, He will ACCOMPLISH His WILL through YOU.
This SHOULD evoke CONFIDENCE, TRUST, and FAITH in the ONE who has called you to do HIS WILL. Thus it SHOULD bring JOY to your HEART! After all His INSTRUCTIONS, (laws) are written on your HEART.
If you are not a Child of the Living God, and are LOST, concerning what the WILL of God is for YOU, I can tell you that the very FIRST part of His WILL for you is that you would TURN AWAY from the SINFUL LIFE you are now living and to TURN to HIM, you can do this by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and EXPERIENCE TRUE JOY in YOUR HEART. The Great Concealer
For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light.------Mark 4:22
Most ladies like to look their best. So we do ALL we can to ENHANCE our natural God-given beauty, by applying make-up. One of the items we may use is something called a CONCEALER which is used to COVER or HIDE any SPOTS, MARKS, OR FLAWS in our complexion. When we apply this COVER-UP, we then apply the make-up and our complexion is FLAWLESS to the eye. But not really, because we are merely HIDING the FLAWS and they are STILL there.
Now this is the way it is with the SIN that is in our life. We ALL, even God's Children, try to HIDE our SINS, and make like they don't EXIST, and we might be able to HIDE our SIN from other people, but NOT to the ONE who it matters to the MOST. He SEES and KNOWS ALL we THINK, SAY, and DO. We CANNOT HIDE a SINGLE THOUGHT, WORD, or DEED from Him, no matter how much CONCEALER we use.
However, God COMPELS us to come to Him and He will COVER our sins with a CONCEALER that not even He will see through, that CONCEALER is the SHED-BLOOD of our BLESSED REDEEMER, the LORD JESUS CHRIST!!
If you are trying to use your OWN CONCEALER, to HIDE your SINS, forget it. It will one day be brought out into the open and besides that, God KNOWS they are there, but you can come to Him and let Him APPLY His OWN CONCEALER, the SHED-BLOOD of Jesus. You can do this by:
CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!

Great is His Faithfulness
The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, "The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him------Lamentations 3:22-24
It is an AWESOME thing to KNOW that God's love has NO ENDING. And that His MERCIES are EVERLASTING!
His FAITHFULNESS is GREAT to ALL of His children, and His MERCIES or COMPASSIONS fail NOT, but are AFRESH EACH morning. This is something that WE, as God's children, can DEFINITELY DEPEND on.

What Matters Most?
I lie awake thinking of You, meditating on you through the night. Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings. I cling to You; Your strong right hand holds me securely.------Psalm 63:7-8
Sometimes I think that God must sit up in Heaven, and looking down on mankind, thinks "Why did I ever give them so much WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE, because they now have managed to come up with ALL this technology and it is consuming their EVERY waking moment."
And if in fact He has had a thought or two like that He is RIGHT on SPOT, because that is a pretty GOOD synopsis of our daily routine. For some of us, the FIRST thing we do when we wake up in the mornings is to reach over and grab our phones or tablets and the LAST thing we do at night is to take one last look at Facebook, before we close our sleepy little eyes. Just WHERE and WHEN do we SQUEEZE in some GOOD, QUALITY, INTIMATE, QUIET-TIME with the Lord? Boy, I don't know about you all, but my toes are hurting now, this message is just as MUCH for ME as it is for YOU!
The Psalmist, who by the way, was King David, said; "I lie awake thinking about You, I MEDITATE on you THROUGH the night." In other words David is saying that the Lord God is on his MIND and in his HEART EVERY WAKING MOMENT. How many of us can say that? David didn't just give God a passing thought, he MEDITATED on Him, that by the way, is a DEFINITE HEART THING. To meditate means to "DEEPLY REFLECT" upon the Creator of this ENTIRE UNIVERSE.
The King goes on to say, "Because you are my HELPER, I sing for JOY in the shadow of Your wings." David KNEW where his HELP came from and it wasn't from his mighty army or what his position in life was, nor was it from his family or friends. His HELP came from the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! This filled David with JOY. Do we REJOICE in the Lord God, KNOWING that He is our HELPER?
David also says that he CLINGS to the LORD GOD, because He upholds him with His STRONG and MIGHTY right hand. What an AWESOME CONSOLATION to KNOW that GOD ALMIGHTY is SUSTAINING US, His children, with His STRONG and MIGHTY RIGHT HAND.
If you don't KNOW our LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER, and have NEVER experienced the JOY of Him being YOUR HELPER, or have NEVER been able to have the CONSOLATION of being held by His STRONG and MIGHTY right hand, you can by: CONFESSING your sins to God, asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!

Going or Left Behind?
With a loud command and with the shout of the chief angel and a blast of God'a trumpet, the Lord will return from heaven. Then those who had faith in Christ before they died will be raised to life. Next, all of us who are still alive will be taken up into the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the sky. From that time on we will all be with the Lord forever. Encourage each other with these words.------1Thessalonians 4:16-18
First, before I get to far along with this, I need to say this one thing that is EXTREMELY important!! You MUST keep in mind that the Apostle Paul is talking to the Thessalonian BELIEVERS and NOT directed to the UNBELIEVERS.
This is some VERY EXCITING words to the heart of EVERY BELIEVER. The ONE event we are ANXIOUSLY awaiting. When the Lord Himself will step out on the clouds and CALL us, who are BELIEVERS, HOME to be with Him and our HEAVENLY FATHER throughout ALL ETERNITY!
But for the UNBELIEVER it will be a time of DEEP HEARTACHE. There will be ANGUISH like mankind has never experienced. Let's just think about some of the things that will take place, on earth, during this time that is known as the RAPTURE.
Let's imagine, that the RAPTURE occurs in the morning time frame, maybe at rush hour. And there are UNBELIEVING parents getting their kids off to school and then they are off to work. And then it happens, cars are running into each other, MASSIVE WRECKS occurring EVERYWHERE, airplanes hitting buildings or CRASHING into the ground in HORRENDOUS BALLS OF FLAMES, SHOOTING into the air. Some UNBELIEVING schoolteachers at the local elementary schools are searching FRANTICALLY for most of their students and some teachers have just disappeared with piles of clothing lying on the floor or on the seats of the desks. UNBELIEVING parents of small children and babies are in DEEP DISTRESS not knowing where their precious children have disappeared to.
Hospital personnel are searching for doctors, nurses and patients missing without a trace of what happened to any of them. Newborns GONE! UNBELIEVING EXPECTANT MOMS without their unborn babies, and young children GONE!
MASS CHAOS! ALL over the ENTIRE WORLD! Graveyards with DEEP GAPING HOLES that once held the remains of the BELIEVERS, who had tasted death and are NOW GONE!
MISERY in EVERY heart, home and life that is LEFT BEHIND! And all because they REFUSED to BELIEVE in the LORD JESUS CHRIST and ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.
If you have REFUSED Christ, but are NOW DESIRING to be ONE of the BELIEVERS, who will be caught up in the air to FOREVER be with Him. You can come to Him by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Strength for the Weary
He gives strength to the weary and strengthens the powerless. Youth may faint and grow weary, and young men, stumble and fall, but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.------Isaiah 40:29-31
Some mornings when I arise to meet a new day, my body tells me that my YOUTHFULNESS has eluded me. I seem to have pain in EVERY joint of my body.
And my physical strength is really NOTHING to brag about. But THANK GOD I DON'T have to rely on my PHYSICAL STRENGTH to get me through ALL the SPIRITUAL facets of this life. And my friends, this life without the SPIRITUAL FACETS amounts to NO LIFE at all.
Our bodies are composed of BODY, MIND, and SOUL. The body, no matter how YOUNG you are, after a brisk episode or two of strenuous exercise, gets TIRED and WEARY, and NEEDS proper REST. Sometimes when we are TAXING our minds with thoughts, ideas and decisions that NEED to be made, we end up with GIANT headaches, and we need to take a break and REST our WEARY minds.
But for those who TRUST in the Lord, He will RENEW our STRENGTH, because we put our FAITH and TRUST in HIM and He IS our STRENGTH. When our SOUL becomes WEARY, He gives us SPIRITUAL STRENGTH to SOAR on wings like an eagle, and SPIRITUALLY speaking we will RUN and not grow WEARY, we will WALK and NOT faint. ALL because we WALK BY FAITH!
If your soul is TIRED and WEARY because you have NEVER put your FAITH and TRUST in God, and you are NOT WALKING by FAITH, you can remedy that by: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!

Rescued from Deep Waters
He reached down from heaven and rescued me; He drew me out of deep waters.------Psalm18:16
I think this verse of Scripture could be related to a LOST PERSON or a SAVED PERSON.
Let's look at it from the view of the LOST PERSON, when we were in the state of being LOST or SEPARATED from the Almighty God we definitely NEEDED to be RESCUED out of the DEEP WATERS of our SINFUL LIFE. And as the Psalmist has stated; God reached DOWN from heaven and RESCUED us. He heard our CRY and SAVED us from DROWNING in our SINS. He lifted us UP from the depths of our sins and PLACED our feet on the SOLID ROCK, who is the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Now let's look at it from the the SAVED PERSON'S view. When we become a CHRISTIAN we are NOT automatically RELEASED from ALL our sins, because we are still in the FLESH, we STILL sin, the difference between the LOST and the SAVED is that we have the HOLY SPIRIT of God INDWELLING us and CONVICTING us CONTINUALLY and even though ALL our SINS, PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE are COVERED by the PRECIOUS BLOOD of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, we STILL need to CONFESS those sins, with a REPENTANT HEART, before we end up in the DEEP WATERS again. We have been RESCUED once already and we need to HEED the WARNING SIGNS: BEWARE OF THE DEEP WATERS!
So if you are in those DEEP WATERS and maybe going down for the last time, and you DESPERATELY NEED a LIFEGUARD to LIFT you out, this is what you MUST do: CONFESS your sins to God and then ask for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION. Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!
