Doing God's Will

I take joy in doing Your will, my God, for Your instructions are written on my heart.------Psalm 40:8

As  God's children, can we like the Palmist, King David, say that we "take JOY" in doing the will of GOD!  Or do we like so many others, have a FEAR of doing the WILL of the ALMIGHTY GOD.

Some are afraid to really OPEN themselves up to the WILL of GOD, because it might pull them out of their comfort zones and cause them to do things that they have NEVER done before and it brings GENUINE FEAR into their HEARTS, because of a LACK of FAITH and TRUST in God Almighty.

If He CALLS you to do something that you have NEVER done before, He WILL definitely EQUIP you to do it.  He will NOT WALK away from you and leave you HELPLESS, instead He will be with you, by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, He will ACCOMPLISH His WILL through YOU.

This SHOULD evoke CONFIDENCE, TRUST, and FAITH in the ONE who has called you to do HIS WILL.  Thus it SHOULD bring JOY to your HEART!  After all His INSTRUCTIONS, (laws) are  written on your HEART.

If you are not a Child of the Living God, and are LOST, concerning what the WILL of God is for YOU, I can tell you that the very FIRST part of His WILL for you is that you would TURN AWAY from the SINFUL LIFE you are now living and to TURN to HIM, you can do this by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and EXPERIENCE TRUE JOY in YOUR HEART. Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He's waiting!!!
