“The Power of God”

 

Tell everyone about God’s Power.  His Majesty shines down on Israel; His Strength is mighty in the heavens.  God is Awesome in His Sanctuary.  The God of Israel gives power and strength to His People.  Praise be to God!    Psalm 68:35

 

Sometimes, when I’m sitting quietly and contemplating on God’s GREAT CREATION, it causes me to think about the POWER it took to CREATE this WORLD and EVERYTHING in it.  And to think about how intricate everything is, brings to mind that OUR GOD is AMAZINGLY POWERFUL and THOUGHTFUL.  EVERYTHING has different parts that work together to keep it ALIVE and WORKING, in order to produce what God has intended it to do.  He CREATED it for HIS OWN PURPOSE.  And He LOVES His Creation, with UNFAILING LOVE.

 

God’s UNFAILING LOVE and His AWESOME POWER, brought about His GIFT of SALVATION for a WRETCHED, SINFUL,UNLOVING, DEPRAVED WORLD, a world that is DESTINED for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE.  But because of His UNFAILING LOVE, which is exemplified through the SACRIFICE of His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who SUFFERED, BLED, and DIED to BRING GOD’S GIFT of SALVATION to a LOST and DYING WORLD, and His AWESOME POWER that RESURRECTED the LORD JESUS CHRIST, which gave Him VICTORY over DEATH and the GRAVE, and it will GIVE ALL those who are TRULY GOD’S CHILDREN, (which are those who have come to CHRIST, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, for their SALVATION), VICTORY over DEATH and an ETERNITY in HELL.

 

You can have that SAME VICTORY over DEATH and the DESTINY of an ETERNITY in HELL, through the POWER and STRENGTH of the ALMIGHTY GOD who GAVE His Son to be the ONLY, ULTIMATE, SACRIFICE for YOUR SINS.  And ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  And BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, and ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and EXPERIENCE GOD’S SAVING POWER and STRENGTH WORKING in YOU.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

“Shielded by God’s Power”

 

You, who through faith are shielded by God’s Power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.  1 Peter 1:5

 

This letter was written by the Apostle Peter, who was living in the northern part of Asia Minor.  The Christians there were being PERSECUTED for their FAITH, and Peter wrote to them to ENCOURAGE them.  And what WONDERFUL words of ENCOURAGEMENT they are.  

 

To KNOW that NOT ONLY is their INHERITANCE guarded, but they who are HEIRS to that INHERITANCE, are SHIELDED by GOD’S  power. What GREATER ENCOURAGEMENT and HOPE, than to KNOW that your SALVATION is PROTECTED by GOD’S POWER.  No matter what kind of persecution they faced, they COULD BE ASSURED of their SALVATION  and their INHERITANCE of ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.

 

This SALVATION, which EVERY TRUE BELIEVER, possesses now, will be REVEALED to them in ALL its FULLNESS, in the PRESENCE of the Almighty God.  And they will feel its FULL SIGNIFICANCE at the RETURN of JESUS CHRIST in the Last Time.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, you do NOT possess this SALVATION, and the INHERITANCE it brings, the PROMISE of an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  You are NOT SHIELDED by GOD’S POWER, which means you do NOT have the ASSURANCE of this SALVATION and its INHERITANCE.  But you COULD be if you will ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And you MUST BELIEVE,  with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN,  making intercession for you, before God.   CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and the ASSURANCE of its INHERITANCE.  And be SHIELDED by GOD’S POWER.   Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!! 

“FIGHT!”

 “ FIGHT!”

 

Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses.   1Timothy 6:12

 

This verse is a kind of BATTLE CRY to Timothy, from the Apostle Paul, who wanted Timothy to FIGHT the GOOD FIGHT for the TRUE FAITH.  He was encouraging not ONLY Timothy, but this can be the BATTLE CRY of EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.  Paul wanted Timothy to FIGHT and DEFEND and PROTECT the TRUE FAITH, especially in times of ADVERSITY and DISTRESS.  To STAND STRONG, and HOLD TIGHTLY to his inheritance, which is an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  

 

In other words, Timothy and the TRUE Believer, of Today, should NOT WAIVER in their FAITH, but to HOLD TIGHTLY to their INHERITANCE of ETERNAL LIFE, for which the ALMIGHTY GOD has PROMISED to EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.  They should be STRONG and STEADFAST in their FAITH and STRIVE to LIVE a GODLY LIFE-STYLE.  And to be ABLE to CONFESS their FAITH in the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD, Who is ABLE to KEEP His PROMISES, and will give us ALL we NEED to FIGHT the GOOD FIGHT, until JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY SON, the REDEEMER of ALL MANKIND, returns to RAPTURE His Church from this SIN-SICK, DEPRAVED WORLD.  Until then, LISTEN to the BATTLE CRY, and FIGHT the GOOD FIGHT.  Are you READY, FULLY EQUIPPED, and STANDING STEADFAST and STRONG in your FAITH?  

 

If you have NOT GIVEN your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you are NOT READY! In order to get READY, you MUST FIRST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in need of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD.  Then ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and BE EQUIPPED and READY to FIGHT the GOOD FIGHT for your TRUE FAITH.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

“The Blinded Minds”

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the Gospel of the Glory of Christ, Who is the Image of God.    2 Corinthians 4:4

 

The god of this age is Satan, who through the ages, and today, as well, has BLINDED the MINDS of the UNBELIEVERS.  It was as if the Gospel of the Glory of Christ had a veil placed upon it. The Gospel was being rejected by people, in the Apostle Paul’s day, the same as it is today. 

 

These people were/are UNABLE and UNWILLING to ACCEPT the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Their UNBELIEF is ENCOURAGED by Satan, himself, even though, he was DEFEATED by Christ, he is STILL BLINDING peoples’ minds to the GLORIOUS GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST.  The ONLY ONE Who can DELIVER them from their FALLEN state.  If they CONTINUE to allow  Satan to INFLUENCE and BLIND their MINDS, they will find themselves with HELL as their ETERNAL DESTINATION,  and NO WAY of ESCAPING, after they are there.  They are DOOMED and their DESTINY is SEALED.  

 

If you find yourself, in this situation, there is still HOPE.  God is giving you the opportunity to CHANGE your DESTINY to an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  If you will BREAK the BONDS of SATAN by:  Admitting that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the Savior, JESUS Christ, who GAVE His life to SAVE you from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DID die for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God. And you MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.   And TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFE-STYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and have your MINDS UNBLINDED to the GLORIOUS GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST.  And spend your ETERNITY in HEAVEN with JESUS.   Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

 

 

“I Am the LORD!”

“I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from Me there is NO Savior.  I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—-I, and not some foreign god among you.  You are My Witnesses,” declares the LORD, that I am God.”   Isaiah 43:11-12

 

People in the world, today, are SEARCHING for SOMETHING, or SOMEONE, to DELIVER them from the HOPELESSNESS and DESPAIR that MANY are experiencing.  They are concerned about their livelihood, their health and for some their ETERNITY.  The Prophet Isaiah delivered this message to the Nation of Israel.  And it is very applicable to not ONLY Israel, but for this WHOLE, LOST and DYING World in which we live, in our PRESENT time.  

 

God wants us to KNOW that HE ALONE, embodied in the person of JESUS CHRIST,  is our SAVIOR, apart from Him we have NO ONE who is ABLE to bring us SALVATION.  Jesus told Philip: “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father.  I am in the Father and the Father is in Me.)  (John14:9&10).   God goes on to say that; “He has REVEALED and SAVED and PROCLAIMED His IDENTITY through His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, with His BIRTH, HIS BAPTISM, His DEATH and His RESURRECTION.  He is the ONLY SAVIOR.  

 

There is NOTHING, or NOBODY else, who can DELIVER the SINFUL, WRETCHED, DOOMED SOULS of MANKIND.  The ALMIGHTY GOD has the ONLY answer for the SALVATION of MANKIND, and that is through the SHED BLOOD of His SON, who SUFFERED, BLED and DIED in order for ALL, who will TURN AWAY FROM their SINFUL life-styles, and will TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, to be DELIVERED from their DOOMED DESTINY.  If you have NOT done this, you can do it NOW, by ADMITTING that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, Jesus Christ.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for you, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  And CONFESS your sins to Him and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and RECEIVE an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and be able to ESCAPE an ETERNAL LIFE in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  And PROCLAIM that the LORD, HE is GOD!!  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

 

  

“The Cry”

Hear my cry, O God’ listen to my prayer.  From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.   Psalm 61:1-2

 

Have you ever been so OVERWHELMED that you felt like you were at the end of your rope, and there was NO WAY to escape?  That is the situation that the psalmist, King David was in.  He CRIED out to God, imploring Him to LISTEN to his prayer.  He felt vulnerable, and all ALONE, as if he were making his plea to the Almighty God, from the ENDS of the EARTH.  His heart was growing faint or lacking courage in facing his dilemmas.  Ever been there?

 

But David KNEW who to CRY out to; the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, David asked God to LEAD him to the ROCK that was HIGHER than he was.  This ROCK was a place of SAFETY and REST. It would serve as his REFUGE, his STRONG TOWER, in his times of trouble and distress.  David KNEW that God was his ONLY HOPE for deliverance.   

 

This is the way we find ourselves, at times, we become overwhelmed with all that this sinful world brings our way.  But as a Child of the LIVING GOD, we, like King David, KNOW who to CRY out to for our deliverance.  Sometimes, we MUST go through the fire, but HE promises us that we won’t have to walk through it ALONE.  And He will see us through the situations we find ourselves in.  God is FAITHFUL, STRONG, and TRUSTWORTHY.   Have you CRIED out to Him to DELIVER you from your SINFUL LIFE-STYLE?

 

If you have NOT CRIED out to Him for your SALVATION, and are being OVERWHELMED, with all your dilemmas, He wants you to KNOW, that He will HELP you to that ROCK of SAFETY, if you will CRY OUT to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And be willing to ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY Son, who died on the cross, for YOU.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS did DIE for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, by CRYING OUT to Him, and TURNING AWAY FROM your SINFUL life-style, and TURNING to GOD. Then you will be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY TO ESCAPE, once you are there.  And RECEIVE an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!

“Rich in Mercy and Saved by Grace”

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His Great Love, that He had for us, made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses.  You are saved by grace!    Ephesians 2:4

 

There are many reasons that we can think of concerning the GOODNESS of our Heavenly Father God.  But let’s see, the MOST IMPORTANT attributes that OUR Heavenly Father possesses, which is His MERCIFUL, UNFAILING, GREAT LOVE, and His ABUNDANT, AMAZING GRACE. 

 

Even though, He HATES SIN, He LOVES the SINNER, and in order to show that LOVE for the SINNER, He has provided MERCY, as a matter of fact, He is RICH in MERCY.  And MERCY is NOT RECEIVING what we DESERVE, as WRETCHED, DISOBEDIENT SINNERS.  Those who CONTINUOUSLY REBEL against the ALMIGHTY GOD and His Ways, are without the HOPE of an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its’s BLESSINGS.  Instead they are headed for an ETERNAL LIFE in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.  

 

However, because of His GREAT, MERCIFUL LOVE, that He had/has for US (sinners), He provided by HIS GRACE, which is giving us what we DON’T DESERVE, making us ALIVE with JESUS CHRIST, the MESSIAH, even while we were DEAD in our TRESPASSES (sins).  This is being SAVED by GRACE. And it will GIVE us ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  Have YOU received His MERCY and been SAVED by His GRACE?

 

You can be if you will COME to God, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, the MESSIAH, JESUS CHRIST, who WILLINGLY GAVE His LIFE, to SAVE your soul from an ETERNITY in HELL.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS did DIE on the Cross, for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And you MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, which is provided to EVERYONE, who will COME to Him because of His RICH MERCY and to be SAVED by His AMAZING GRACE.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  GOD IS GOOD, and He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
