“FIGHT!”

 “ FIGHT!”

 

Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses.   1Timothy 6:12

 

This verse is a kind of BATTLE CRY to Timothy, from the Apostle Paul, who wanted Timothy to FIGHT the GOOD FIGHT for the TRUE FAITH.  He was encouraging not ONLY Timothy, but this can be the BATTLE CRY of EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.  Paul wanted Timothy to FIGHT and DEFEND and PROTECT the TRUE FAITH, especially in times of ADVERSITY and DISTRESS.  To STAND STRONG, and HOLD TIGHTLY to his inheritance, which is an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  

 

In other words, Timothy and the TRUE Believer, of Today, should NOT WAIVER in their FAITH, but to HOLD TIGHTLY to their INHERITANCE of ETERNAL LIFE, for which the ALMIGHTY GOD has PROMISED to EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.  They should be STRONG and STEADFAST in their FAITH and STRIVE to LIVE a GODLY LIFE-STYLE.  And to be ABLE to CONFESS their FAITH in the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS GOD, Who is ABLE to KEEP His PROMISES, and will give us ALL we NEED to FIGHT the GOOD FIGHT, until JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY SON, the REDEEMER of ALL MANKIND, returns to RAPTURE His Church from this SIN-SICK, DEPRAVED WORLD.  Until then, LISTEN to the BATTLE CRY, and FIGHT the GOOD FIGHT.  Are you READY, FULLY EQUIPPED, and STANDING STEADFAST and STRONG in your FAITH?  

 

If you have NOT GIVEN your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you are NOT READY! In order to get READY, you MUST FIRST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in need of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD.  Then ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and BE EQUIPPED and READY to FIGHT the GOOD FIGHT for your TRUE FAITH.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
