Undeserved Grace

Once we were also ruled by the selfish desires of our bodies and minds.  We had made God angry, and we were going to be punished like everyone else.  But God was merciful!  We were dead because of our sins, but God loved us so much He made us alive with Christ, and God's gift of undeserved grace is what saves you.------ Ephesians 2:3-5

I think that every now and then EVERY TRUE CHILD of the LIVING GOD needs to reflect on our past, before we WERE DRAWN to the Lord Jesus for the SALVATION of our souls.

We need to UNDERSTAND that our past was like any other sinner, we were RULED by the selfish DESIRES of the flesh, which made us enemies of God, and we were DESTINED to be PUNISHED, like all other sinners, because of our sins.

But that is NOT the END of the story.  God was MERCIFUL!  He loved US SO MUCH that He made a plan for US to be able to AVOID the PUNISHMENT, through the DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION of His ONE and ONLY SON, the Lord Jesus Christ, He brought us from a spiritual DEATH to EVERLASTING LIFE, in other words He made us ALIVE with Christ.  This was accomplished ONLY through God's gift of UNDESERVED GRACE.  It was not by ANYTHING we have done, other than ACCEPT that gift of UNDESERVED GRACE, in order to be SAVED.

If you are NOT a Child of the Living God, and you have NEVER ACCEPTED His gift of UNDESERVED GRACE, you are an enemy of God and will receive His PUNISHMENT.  You can come to Him NOW and receive His gift of UNDESERVED GRACE instead by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION (undeserved grace).  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He's waiting!!!
