"Complete Unity"

“Complete Unity”

 

“I have given them the glory that you gave Me, that they may be one as We are one---I in them and You in Me---so that they may be brought to complete unity.  Then the world will know that you sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me. “        John 17:22-23

 

This is part of Jesus’ prayer for ALL BELIEVERS.  In this prayer, He speaks of COMPLETE UNITY in the BODY of the BELIEVERS.   The GLORY that He speaks of may refer to the GLORY of the CROSS.  As the BODY of BELIEVERS ponder on the REDEMPTIVE work that was carried out on the CROSS, by the Lord Jesus Christ, for God’s REDEMPTION PURPOSES, they will be brought to COMPLETE UNITY.

 

The COMPLETE UNITY, consists of; Jesus in the BELIEVER, and God in Jesus.  When there is COMPLETE UNITY, God’s REDEMPTIVE PURPOSES will be accomplished.   The LOST and DYING World will KNOW of Jesus ATONING WORK, and will KNOW about the UNMATCHED, INTIMATE LOVE that God has for mankind. 

 

As TRUE BELIEVERS, we MUST work at having COMPLETE UNITY in EACH part of the BODY of CHRIST.  We must NOT let Satan deter us, by stirring up DISSENTIONS among the TRUE BELIEVERS.  NOW is the time to BAND TOGETHER, and become a STRONG and VIBRANT, body with COMPLETE UNITY, and in ONE ACCORD, we must be DILIGENT in WORKING for God’s REDEMPTIVE PURPOSES. 

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are part of the LOST and DYING world, which is headed for an ETERNITY in Hell, with ALL of its Horrors, and NO WAY of ESCAPE.  God is giving you the opportunity NOW, to ESCAPE HELL, if you will TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO Him, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.   Then you MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST also BELIEVE, with all your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU.  And that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become part of the BODY of CHRIST, and WORK in COMPLETE UNITY to see GOD’S REDEMPTIVE PURPOSES accomplished.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
