"Hated By the World"

“Hated By the World”

 

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first.  If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own.  As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.  That is why the world hates you.”       John 15:18-19

 

For the TRUE BELIEVER, if you are living TOTALLY for the Lord, you are HATED BY THE WORLD, as some of you might know already.   This conservation was directed to the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, but it is SO applicable to the TRUE BELIEVER, today.  

 

Jesus, wanted His disciples and ALL TRUE BELIEVERS to KNOW that the world HATES THEM.  The reason being is that the world HATED Jesus first, therefore ANYTHING or ANYONE connected to Him, is HATED BY THE WORLD.  If they are STILL living according to WORLDLY STANDARDS, then they would be LOVED BY THE WORLD.  But it SHOULD BE that they are NO LONGER living BY WORLDLY STANDARDS.  Because they were/ are CHOSEN OUT of the world, by Jesus Christ, to live by GODLY STANDARDS.  And that is why they are HATED BY THE WORLD.

 

The TRUE BELIEVER, who has been RESCUED from the KINGDOM of DARKNESS, and BROUGHT into the KINGDOM of LIGHT, (God) lives by DIFFERENT standards and they have a DIFFERENT PURPOSE, JOY, and HOPE.   They KNOW the TRUTH and they LIVE by it.  Because of this, they are HATED BY THE WORLD.  And their DESTINY is spending an ETERNITY in Heaven, with their SAVIOR and LORD, JESUS CHRIST.

 

However, for those who have NOT given their HEART and LIFE to God, and are STILL living in the KINGDOM of DARKNESS, your DESTINY is an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL of its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE.  You have the opportunity, NOW, to change your DESTINY.  You MUST TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life style, and TURN TO God, with a TRUE REPENTAN HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and experience ALL the GLORIES of Heaven for ALL ETERNITY.  You will be HATED BY THE WORLD, but you will be LOVED by FATHER GOD and His SON, JESUS CHRIST.  So do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
