“Friend or Enemy?”

 

Unfaithful people!  Don’t you know that to be the world’s friend means to be God’s enemy?  If you want to be the world’s friend, you make yourself God’s enemy.      James 4:4

 

Many people today, think that if you BELIEVE in God, that is ALL you NEED to secure you a place in Heaven, when you leave this world. This is what Satan would want you to believe, as long as you don’t TRULY give your HEART and LIFE TOTALLY to Jesus Christ for your SALVATION.  Even Satan and his minions BELIEVE in God, and they KNOW all about His POWER to SAVE mankind from the SAME destiny that they are facing.  So, if Satan can DECEIVE people into this FALSE SENSE of their ETERNAL SECURITY, he will do it, just to DEFEAT God’s purpose for their SALVATION.  And these are the ones who will miss an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with All its BLESSINGS, because they THINK they POSSESS what it takes to get to Heaven.

 

They are the ones who PROFESS to be Christians, but they are STRONGLY, EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED to the things of this world.  This condition makes them UNFAITHFUL to God, and is evidence that they are NOT TRULY REDEEMED, but they are actually ENEMIES of GOD and FRIENDS of the WORLD.  In 1 John 2:15, it tells us: “Do NOT love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do NOT have the LOVE of the Father in you.” This is a VERY STRONG WARNING for those who wish to CONTINUE on in their sinful life-style.  A life-style that has NO ROOM or DESIRE for the things of God, but has a COMPROMISING mindset.

 

There is NO MIDDLE GROUND.  You are either a FRIEND of the WORLD and an ENEMY of GOD or you are an ENEMY of the WORLD and a FRIEND of GOD, which means that you either EMBRACE the things of the WORLD or you EMBRACE the things of God, you CANNOT do BOTH. So where do you stand?  There is ONLY one HOPE for this SPIRITUAL DARKNESS, and it is the GLORIOUS GRACE of our LOVING LORD. 

 

In order to be TRULY DELIVERED from this SPIRITUAL DARKNESS you must decide, whether you are a FRIEND of the WORLD and an ENEMY of GOD, or a FRIEND of GOD and an ENEMY of the WORLD.  In order to be a FRIEND of GOD, you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You do that by:  ADMITTING that you are a SINNER in NEED of a SAVIOR. And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION and become a TRUE FRIEND and a TRUE CHILD of the LIVING GOD, whose ETERNAL DESTINY is HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
