 “The Fullness of Christ”

 

For God was pleased to have ALL His fullness dwell in Him, (Christ), and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His Cross—-whether things on earth or things in Heaven.   Colossians 1:19-20

 

The Almighty God was PLEASED to have ALL His FULLNESS dwell in His SON, JESUS CHRIST.  God did NOT give JESUS half of His DIVINE POWERS and ATTRIBUTES, and then spread the other half among the angels.  But He gave ALL of His DEITY to JESUS CHRIST ALONE.  And Jesus is the SUPREME DEITY of His Heavenly Father, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  This FULLNESS is an ETERNAL INDWELLING, and it is ONLY in CHRIST ALONE.

 

One part of the mission of Christ was to RECONCILE EVERYTHING to Himself. The word, RECONCILE means: To CHANGE or EXCHANGE.  In this usage, it is referring to the RELATIONSHIP between SINFUL MANKIND and God.  Sinful mankind NEEDS a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD.  And to do that they MUST COME to the CROSS of CHRIST, and receive FORGIVENESS for their SINFULNESS and to have a COMPLETE AND TOTAL RECONCILIATION.  And this COMPLETE RECONCILIATION will ULTIMATELY be for God’s Creation. 

 

This means that SINFUL MANKIND has the OPPORTUNITY to have a CHANGED life, and a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD.  And the ability to change their DESTINY from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there, to an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  They MUST COME through JESUS CHRIST, and ADMIT that they are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR.  They MUST BELIEVE, with ALL their HEART that JESUS died for them and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them, before God.  The MUST CONFESS their sins to Him, and with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART,  ask Him for His FORGIVENESS. They MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM their SINFUL life-style, and TURN to GOD.  And ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and to be RECONCILED to GOD, which can ONLY be done THROUGH the FULLNESS of JESUS CHRIST.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
