“Obey Me!”

“However, I did give them this command:  Obey Me, and then I will be your God, and you will be My People. You MUST walk in every way I command you so that it may go well with you.”   Jeremiah 7:23

 

OBEDIENCE, is one  thing that God COMMANDS of His Children.  It is probably the MOST important thing that a Child of the LIVING GOD, should COMMIT themselves to.  OBEDIENCE exemplifies our LOVE and FAITHFULNESS to Him, and our RESPECT and WILLINGNESS to SERVE Him.  These actions PLEASE Him, and He will TRULY be our GOD and WE will be His PEOPLE. 

 

Are you being OBEDIENT to God?  Do you FOLLOW His ways?  Can a person watch your ACTIONS, and hear your WORDS and KNOW who you belong to?   He tells us that we MUST WALK or LIVE in EVERY WAY that He COMMANDS us to.  If we DON’T do this, we are REBELLIOUS towards God, and we WILL pay the price for our DISOBEDIENCE.  He tells us if we are OBEDIENT to Him things may go WELL with us. 

 

Many people think walking  an aisle in the church, saying a prayer, and shaking the preacher’s hand will bring you SALVATION, signed, sealed, and delivered.  And as long as you go to church on Sundays, you can live your life with the SAME OLD WAYS, but THAT is NOT TRUE.  You MUST COME to GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God’s SON, who GAVE His life so you might have EVERLASTING LIFE in HEAVEN. You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your OLD SINFUL LIFE-STYLE and TURN TO GOD, and WALK or LIVE in EVERY WAY He COMMANDS YOU .  This is OBEDIENCE and He will TRULY BLESS you with an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and you will be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there.  So, do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
