 “Incredible Faith”

 

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise.  In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.  He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever He Promises.  And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous.    Romans 4:20-22

 

Abraham is the SPIRITUAL FATHER of those who have FAITH.  They, like Abraham, are counted as RIGHTEOUS, because of their FAITH.  It is clear that God’s PROMISE to give the WHOLE EARTH to Abraham and his descendants was NOT based on his OBEDIENCE to God’s Law, but on a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God that comes by FAITH (v13).

 

Abraham’s INCREDIBLE FAITH was brought about because of God’s PROMISE to give him and his wife, Sarah a son.  Now the MIRACULOUS PART of this INCREDIBLE FAITH, was that Abraham was close to a HUNDRED years old and Sarah’s womb was BARREN.  To some people, that was an IMPOSSIBLE situation.  But NOT to Abraham, because he BELIEVED God would KEEP His PROMISE of making him the FATHER of MANY NATIONS, which was a level of SUPERNATURAL HOPE, and INCREDIBLE FAITH.  Abraham TRUSTED in the ALMIGHTY POWER of the LIVING GOD to take an IMPOSSIBLE situation, and make it a POSSIBLE situation.  

 

Abraham NEVER WAVERED in his FAITH of BELIEVING in GOD’S PROMISE.  Our Scripture tells us that his FAITH grew STRONGER, and because of this ABRAHAM brought GLORY to GOD.   Abraham FULLY BELIEVED and was FULLY CONVINCED that the ALMIGHTY GOD is ABLE to DO WHATEVER He PROMISES.  And because of Abraham’s INCREDIBLE FAITH, God counted him as RIGHTEOUS. 

 

God has PROMISED those who BELIEVE and TRUST in His Only Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, for their SALVATION, would have ALL their SINS FORGIVEN, and they would be ABLE to spend their ETERNITY in HEAVEN, and ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.  And if they have an INCREDIBLE FAITH, as Abraham, they too would be COUNTED AS RIGHTEOUS, meaning they would have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with GOD.  

 

In order to do that you MUST FIRST, ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who SUFFERED, BLED, DIED and RESURRECTED from DEATH and the GRAVE, to REDEEM YOU from your SINFUL lifestyle.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU. And that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and BELIEVE and TRUST Him to KEEP His PROMISE, and have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him and His SON, and be COUNTED as RIGHTEOUS, because of your INCREDIBLE FAITH.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can, because when you LEAST EXPECT it, Jesus will COME AGAIN to take ALL of ABRAHAM’S Children HOME.  And you Don’t want to be LEFT BEHIND!!!  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
